Description

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Trenneinrichtung für gebundene Druckwerke mit aus der Buchebene herausragender Nase.
Solche Trenneinrichtungen sind allgemein bekannt. Beispielsweise sind Trenneinrichtungen in Form von an Buchseiten anklebbaren Nasen bekannt, die vom Benutzer an bestimmten Seiten eines Buches, die beispielsweise häufig benutzt werden müssen, nachträglich an einer der Außenkanten der Buchseite durch Kleben befestigt werden. Diese Trenneinrichtungen ermöglichen es beispielsweise, eine bestimmte Seite eines Buches schnell aufzuschlagen. Dies kann bei Trenneinrichtungen in Form von herausragenden Nasen beispielsweise mit einer einzigen Hand geschehen, indem das Buch mit den Fingern einer Hand erfaßt wird und der Daumen auf die Nase gelegt wird. Durch entsprechendes Kippen des Buches läßt sich dann erreichen, daß alle Seiten eines Buches bis zu der Nase hin aufgeblättert werden, während die dahinterliegenden Seiten geschlossen bleiben.
Solche Trenneinrichtungen in Form von Nasen haben den Nachteil, daß beim nachträglichen Anbringen der Nasen an der Buchseite diese beschädigt werden können. Auch bei der Benutzung der Trenneinrichtung in der oben geschilderten Form können die meist aus sehr dünnem Papier bestehenden Buchseiten beschädigt werden, da beim Aufschlagen des Buches von der festgehaltenen Nase erhebliche Kräfte auf das Papier der Buchseite ausgeübt werden, insbesondere, wenn die Zugwirkung der Nase in einem versetzten Winkel ausgeübt wird.
Es ist eine gattungsgemäße Trenneinrichtung nach dem Oberbegriff des Hauptanspruchs bekannt (GB-A-278 909).
Diese Trenneinrichtung hat sich zwar bewährt. Es ist aber leicht möglich, daß empfindliche Buchseiten bei Einsatz der bekannten Trenneinrichtung leicht beschädigt werden. Außerdem ist das Umblättern des Trennblattes schwierig.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine gattungsgemäße Trenneinrichtung gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Hauptanspruchs bereitzustellen, die bei ihrer Bedienung das Beschädigen von empfindlichen Buchseiten vermeidet und zudem nachträglich leicht in gebundenen Druckwerken angebracht werden kann.
Gelöst wird diese Aufgabe durch eine Trenneinrichtung gemäß dem Kennzeichen des Hauptanspruches. Die Unteransprüche geben bevorzugte Ausgestaltungen der Erfindung wieder.
Die erfindungsgemäße Trenneinrichtung besteht aus einem gesonderten Trennblatt, das in das Druckwerk eingeklebt werden kann. Das Trennblatt kann aus einem stabilen Papier, einer Kunststoffolie oder ähnlichem biegsamen Material bestehen, das ohne Schwierigkeiten in den Zwischenraum zwischen zwei Seiten des Buches eingeklebt werden kann. An einer der Außenkanten, die den Außenkanten der Buchblätter entsprechen, ist eine Nase angebracht, die so dimensioniert ist, daß sie aus dem Buchformat herausragt. An der der Nase gegenüberliegenden Innenkante des Buches kann das Trennblatt mit Klebematerial versehen werden, so daß es an der Buchinnenseite mit den Buchseiten verklebt verden kann. Auf diese Weise wird die Trenneinrichtung unverlierbar im Buch befestigt. Die der Nase gegenüberliegende Innenkante des Trennblatts ist breiter als die Breite der Nase selbst, so daß sich die beim Festhalten der Nase und beim Umblättern des Buches auftretende Kräfte, auch durch Reibung an den benachbarten Buchseiten über diese gleichmäßig auf die Buchinnenkante verteilen können, ohne daß das Trennblatt herausgerissen oder beschädigt wird.
In bevorzugten Ausgestaltungen der Erfindung kann das Trennblatt ein oder mehrere Falze aufweisen, die parallel zur Buchinnenkante verlaufen und das Umblättern des Trennblattes erleichtern. An der Buchinnenseite zugewandten Seite des Trennblatts können vorspringende Einlegenasen vorgesehen sein, die sich an der Buchinnenseite bis zum Einband vorschieben lassen und das Einführen und Einkleben des Trennblatts in ein Buch erleichtern können.
Die am Trennblatt vorgesehenen Klebmaterialschichten können vorzugsweise in Form von Klebestreifen vorgesehen sein, beispielsweise mit abziehbaren Abdeckungen, um ein vorzeitiges Abbinden des Klebematerials zu vermeiden.
Die Erfindung wird nachfolgend anhand der Figuren beispielhaft näher beschrieben. Es zeigen:

Figur 1 zeigt ein Trennblatt 10 in rechteckiger Form, an dessen langer Außenkante 20 eine Nase 12 mit der Breite b angebracht ist. Diese Nase kann einstückig zusammen mit dem Trennblatt 10 aus dem gleichen Material hergestellt worden sein. An der Innenkante 14 des Trennblatts 10 sind Einlegenasen 30 vorgesehen, die sich in einer der Nase 12 entgegengesetzten Richtung zur Buchinnenseite 22 (Fig. 3) hin erstrecken. Sie erleichtern das tiefe Einführen des Trennblattes bis zum Einbandrücken des Buches und dienen auch zur Justierung. An der Innenkante 14 des Trennblattes 10 ist Klebematerial 16 vorgesehen, gegebenenfalls kann auch auf den Einlegenasen 30 Klebematerial vorgesehen sein. Mit diesem Klebematerial wird das Trennblatt 10 im Buch befestigt. Falze 26 dienen dazu, das Trennblatt leichter umblättern zu können, insbesondere, wenn es an der linken Buchseite angeklebt ist und diese auch bedruckt ist.
Die Fig. 2 zeigt eine ähnliche Ausführungsform wie die Fig. 1, die lediglich in ihrer Form von der Rechteckform des Trennblatts der Fig. 1 abweicht, indem die äußeren, dem Bucheinband gegenüberliegenden Ecken weggelassen sind. Außerdem weist dieses Trennblatt Markierungen 26, z.B. in Form von Markierungslinien oder Perforationen auf, an denen entlang das Trennblatt durch Schneiden, Brechen oder Abreißen so verändert werden kann, daß es sich unterschiedlichen Buchformaten anpassen läßt.
Die Fig. 3 zeigt ein Buch mit zwei eingelegten Trennblättern 10, 10' wobei die Nasen 12 unterschiedlich dimensioniert sind. Außerdem sind die Nasen 12 gegenüber dem Material der Trennblätter 10, 10' aus einem verstärkten Material gearbeitet.
Die Fig. 4 zeigt Trennblätter mit unterschiedlich ausgestalteten Nasen 12, wobei es möglich ist, daß ein Trennblatt auch mehrere Nasen 12 aufweist.
Die Fig. 5 zeigt die beim Umblättern eines Buches, das mit der erfindungsgemäßen Trenneinrichtung versehen ist, auftretenden Phasen. In der Phase 1 des Umblätterns, die beispielsweise dadurch bewirkt wird, daß eine am rechten Bildrand herausragende Nase mit dem linken Daumen nach oben bewegt wird, sind die an der Nase bzw. an den Blättern des Buches auftretenden Kräfte am größten, da die noch zu wendenden Blätter entgegen der Schwerkraft und der Masseträgheit zu bewegen sind. Diese Kräfte werden größtenteils durch Reibung zwischen der Trenneinrichtung und den zu wendenden Seiten aufgenommen, so daß die Belastung der Klebeeinrichtung und auch der als Klebebasis verwendeten Buchseite bzw. deren Bindekante gering ist.
In der Phase 2 ist die Zugbelastung der Klebestelle bzw. der Trageseite durch den kurzen Hebel zwischen Eigengewicht der zu wendenden Seite und Gegenkraft durch die Trennvorrichtung gering.
In der Phase 3 fallen die umzublätternden Seiten größtenteils durch ihr Eigengewicht in der Pfeilrichtung, während die nicht umzublätternden Seiten durch ihr Eigengewicht in Gegenrichtung der Pfeile der Phasen 1 und 2 in ihre ursprüngliche Lage zurückfallen.
In allen diesen Phasen werden beim Umblättern die Kräfte nicht von der Nase über die Trenneinrichtung nicht nur auf die Buchinnenkante verteilt, sondern auch durch Reibung, die für den Binderücken keine Belastung darstellt aufgezehrt. Auf diese Weise ist ein schonendes Umblättern der Seiten gewährleistet.

Claims (4)

  1. Trenneinrichtung für gebundene Druckwerke mit aus der Buchebene herausragenden Nasen, die die Form eines Trennblattes (10) aufweist, dessen der Nase (12) bzw. den Nasen (12, 12') gegenüberliegende Innenkante (14) breiter ist als die Breite (b) der Nase (12) und Klebematerial (16) zum Befestigen an der Buchinnenseite (22) aufweist,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
    an der der Buchinnenseite (22) zugewandten Seite (24) des Trennblattes (10) ein oder mehrere Falze (26) vorgesehen sind und an der Buchinnenseite (22) zugewandten Seite (24) des Trennblattes (10) Einlegenasen (30) vorgesehen sind, die sich in einer den Nasen (12) entgegengesetzten Richtung erstrecken.
  2. Trenneinrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Klebematerial (16) in Form von Klebestreifen vorliegt.
  3. Trenneinrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Trennblätter (10) Markierungen (26) in Form von Markierungslinien oder Perforationen zur Anpassung an unterschiedliche Buchformate aufweisen.
  4. Trenneinrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Trennblätter (10) Nasen (12) in unterschiedlicher Anzahl und Position aufweisen.
