Definitions

  • the invention relates to a box window with an inner window frame with an inner wing frame with inserted glazing and a glass retaining bar that can be snapped into a groove in the inner wing frame and an outer window frame with an outer wing frame with inserted glazing and a glass retaining bar that can be snapped into a groove in the outer wing frame, wherein an intermediate profile is inserted between the outer and the inner frame, which defines the distance between the outer and inner casement, whereby an intermediate space is formed in which a temporary sun or heat protection from at least one roll-up or unwrapped roller blind or blind is arranged is and on the inner sash on the side facing the other sash in the area of the lateral spars and the lower cross member of the sash an angular profile that covers the space formed between the two sashes is attached , whereby the angle profile also forms the lateral guide for the roller blind or blind.
  • Box windows of the generic type are known for example from DE 39 43 123 C1.
  • This box window has an inner window frame and a wing frame designed as a tilt-and-turn wing with inserted glazing and an outer window frame with an outer outer wing frame designed as reversible wing with inserted glazing.
  • the two sash frames can be opened and closed separately from one another, and a sun or.
  • This known box window has a very complex structure and is in need of improvement with regard to thermal insulation properties and security against burglary.
  • a box window is known from DE 24 58 654 A1, in which the outer casement and the inner casement are also separated from one another, i.e. each can be opened and closed individually using an operating handle.
  • a sun protection blind can be arranged between the two casement frames, which is guided on the outer intermediate profile connecting the frame.
  • the box window according to DE 24 58 654 A1 can only be opened when the sun protection blind is raised.
  • Another box window is known from DE GM 90 11 696, in which a roller blind system with at least one curtain track is arranged between the window sashes and in which the two window sash frames are connected to one another and can be operated by means of a common operating handle.
  • a disadvantage of this box window is that a Common glazing bead is provided for the glazing for both casements and the glazing can only be done when the casement is removed.
  • a window designed as a sliding or casement window which has an outer casement and an inner casement with glazing respectively inserted, these two casements having a common frame.
  • sun protection in the form of a roller blind or a blind is provided in the space between the two casement frames.
  • this window has only very low thermal insulation and burglar resistance.
  • the invention has for its object to improve the known box windows in terms of ease of installation, functional security and security against burglary. Furthermore, it should be possible to design box windows with window sashes that can be opened separately and with compound sashes.
  • a box window with window sashes that can be opened separately and with window sashes that can be opened together can be produced as a so-called composite window.
  • a high level of sound insulation and thermal insulation including high security against burglary can be achieved by using insulating glass for glazing the window casement.
  • Sound insulation class 6 can be achieved without any problems using insulating glass. The slump will difficult because lever tools cannot be attached to the inner casement from the outside, since this is covered by the outer casement, since the outer casement has a smaller window opening than the inner casement.
  • both the box window and the box composite window can be produced with hollow profiles made of thermoplastic materials, which can also be used for normal windows with a frame and casement. Appropriate fittings can be used to turn and tilt the windows for ventilation, either individually or in combination.
  • Roller blinds or blinds can be used between the casement frames, which serve as temporary heat or sun protection.
  • the roller blinds or blinds used between the wings are moved along with the wing frame, so that these weather-protected versions can also be operated when the wings are turned or tilted and the wing frames can in turn be operated while the roller blind or blind is extended.
  • the inner casement By designing the inner casement with a larger window opening than the outer casement, it is possible to glaze the outer casement through the casement. This means that the wing frames do not have to be removed to replace a glass pane.
  • the glass retaining strips of both the inner and the outer casement are arranged on the room side.
  • the distance between the inner casement and the outer casement is determined by the intermediate profile inserted between the inner and outer frame.
  • An angular profile attached to one of the sash frames in the area of the intermediate space has the task of closing the sash space in the area of the side spars and the lower transverse spar, which ensures the distance between the two sash frames and these lie securely on the sealing planes to the frame.
  • the outer sash frame even without an inner sash flap, allows for fitting to be operated as a rotating or tilting window.
  • the pivot points can also be located within the fitting rebate, so that separate operation of both sash frames is also guaranteed.
  • An additional locking mechanism can also be used in the outer casement if it is designed as a composite window. This can be operated via a window handle on the inner casement with a corresponding coupling.
  • the roller blind is preferably formed in two layers.
  • This double-layer roller blind web is constructed in such a way that both webs are kept at the same distance from the roller blind shaft by a tube in the lower loop.
  • a roller blind is applied to the outer or inner casement and thus counteracts heat transfer.
  • the box window according to Figure 1 consists of an inner frame 1, an outer frame 2, an inner sash 3, which is attached to the inner frame and an outer sash 4, which is attached to the outer frame 2.
  • Each casement is equipped with insulating glazing 30, 31.
  • the window frames and the sash frames are produced, for example, from multi-chamber hollow profiles made of thermoplastic material and, if necessary, reinforced by inserting reinforcement profiles 22, 21, as can be seen from FIGS. 2 to 5.
  • Such hollow profiles for the production of window frames and casements for windows and doors belong to the prior art.
  • a mechanical ventilation device 70 with the possibility of heat recovery and ventilation, which communicates with the space between the casement, is placed on the window frame on the window frame.
  • the frame 1, 2 are firmly connected to each other via the intermediate profile 6.
  • the sash frames 3, 4 are spaced apart from one another by means of the angle profile 9, which defines the intermediate space 11 between the two sash frames. This space 11 is ultimately defined by the shape and size of the frame 1, 2, the intermediate profile 6 and the sash 3, 4.
  • the angle profile 9 is arranged and fastened on the outer casement in the area of the lateral spars, see FIG. 4, and on the lower cross member 40a, see FIG. 3.
  • the inner wing frame 3 is connected via the band 7 and the closure 8 to the angle profile 9 and thus to the outer wing frame 4.
  • the box window is made as a composite window.
  • the spacer formed from the angle profile 9, the band 7 and the closures 8 between the outer casement 4 and the inner casement 3 enables the wings to be rotated together to open and lock them.
  • the angular profile 9 ensures the distance between the two casements all the way around, as a result of which they rest securely on the sealing surfaces of the frame.
  • These sealing surfaces 20a, 20b, 20c, 20d, 20e are indicated in FIG. 3, they are formed either by the stops of the frames against one another or by appropriately inserted sealing profiles, see 20b, 20d, 20e.
  • a center seal 20b can be provided on the outer sash frame and additionally an outer seal 20a can be drawn in between the outer frame and the outer sash frame at the outer stop.
  • the inner casement frame also has a central seal 20d and an inner roll-over seal 20c as well as an additional one outer seal 20e. This allows five sealing surfaces between the frame and casement.
  • the fitting for actuating the outer sash is to be fitted as a rotating and tilting window in the fitting groove 15 of the outer sash frame 4, and accordingly a fitting in the fitting groove 15 of the inner sash frame 3 for actuating the inner sash frame.
  • the fulcrums can also lie within the fitting rebate. This also ensures separate operation of the two casement frames 3, 4, if one does not want to be trained as a composite window.
  • the angle profile 9, which is only attached to the outer sash frame, enables the sash frame to be moved separately and, when closed, ensures the distance 11 as a space for a roller blind or a blind.
  • An additional locking mechanism is also possible in the outer casement of the box-type composite window. This can be done via the window handle of the inner casement with a corresponding coupling, i.e. Deflection device to be operated. This means that the new box window can be manufactured both as a composite window and with a casement that is not connected to one another.
  • the window depth is variable, it is determined by the intermediate profile of the frame and can be set to any desired size while maintaining the same or different profile designs for the frame and casement.
  • Temporary sun and / or heat protection in the form of blinds or roller blinds which can be single-layer or multi-layer, is accommodated in the space created between the inner and outer casement frames.
  • the function of the blinds or roller blinds is not impaired by turning and tilting the windows.
  • the inner casement is larger than the outer casement and the glazing beads 32, 33 are assigned to the inside of the room.
  • the drive box 16 with roller blind shaft 50 is arranged between the inner casement 3 and the outer casement 4 in the area of the upper cross members 3a, 40 of the casement in the intermediate space 11.
  • the drive box 16 is attached to the upper cross member 40 of the outer casement 4.
  • the cross member 40 of the outer casement 4 is cut off by cutting off a part of the profile or the walls to reduce the size of the side facing the inner casement 3 in order to create additional receiving space for the drive box.
  • the space 11 is enlarged by cutting off the wall areas 41b, 41a, 42a, 42b forming the sash 41, 42 of the sash.
  • the drive box 16 is fastened to the sash frame 4 in the area of the fitting groove 15 with its end 16b which overlaps the outer sash frame 4 in the area of the upper cross member 40.
  • a double-layer roller blind web is wound on the roller blind shaft, the two layers 5a, 5b of which are spread apart in the unwound state in which they are guided between the two casement frames. This spreading takes place by means of a tube 18 which lies in the lower loop 5c formed by the layers 5a, 5b, which forms the end of the roller blind web, and keeps the two layers 5a, 5b at a distance from one another.
  • a guide web 17 is fastened horizontally in the space between the two casement frames in the region of the roller blind box 16 and has a width corresponding to the diameter of the tube 18.
  • the two layers 5a, b of the roller blind are spread apart on both sides via the guide web 17. In this way, the two layers 5a, 5b of the roller blind web are always kept at the same distance from one another during winding and unwinding of the roller blind web and insertion into the intermediate space 11 between the two casement frames. Depending on the heat flow, one or the other position of the roller blind is applied to the inner or outer casement, which optimizes the thermal insulation.
  • the glass retaining strips 32, 33 can be snapped into corresponding grooves 43 or 36 of the outer or inner casement.
  • the box window according to the invention enables optimum heat and sound insulation, driving rain safety and joint tightness and can also serve as a solar element, the double-layer roller blind installed between the casement frames ensuring heat and sun protection.
  • the box window can be designed as a box window or as a box composite window, with training as Box composite window, the inner and the outer casement by means of bands 7 and closure 8, as shown in Fig. 4, are coupled together.
  • the inner and outer casements being movable separately from one another, the distance between the inner and outer casements is defined by the angle profile 9, which is preferably attached to the outer casement 4 in the region of the side rails and to the lower cross member 40a.
  • Fig. 5 is a cross section through a box window, constructed analogously to the box window shown in Fig. 2, in which now only a drive box 16 with a blind 51, which can be pulled up in the direction of the arrow or instead of the drive box 16 with a double-layer roller blind is lowerable. Since the drive box 16 for the blind is smaller than the drive box 16 for a double-layer roller blind, see FIG. 2, the drive box 16 can easily be accommodated in the space 11 between the inner casement 3 and the outer casement 4. In the example shown, the drive box 16 for the blind is fastened to the inner casement 3 in the region of the upper cross member 3a on the side facing the outer casement. Thus, the drive box 16 can be moved together with the blind when opening or closing the inner casement 3.
  • the actuation of the blind 51 for lowering or pulling up can take place by means of a crank mechanism 52, which is only indicated and which leads from the inside of the room through the upper cross member 3a of the casement to the drive box 16 of the blind.
  • 5 is preferably also designed as a composite window, i.e. inner sash frame and outer sash frame are connected to one another via fitting parts 7, 8, as shown in FIG. 4, and are opened or closed together.
  • the Venetian blind attached in the space between the two casement frames 3, 4 is thereby moved in each case.
