Definitions
- the invention relates to a facade element for closing an opening in an outer wall of a building with a frame comprising a plurality of frame elements and a filling element supported in a frame, wherein the filling element is at least partially formed of a transparent material, with a locking device which at least partially in at least one the frame elements is arranged, and with an actuating gear, which has an actuating element, via which at least a part of the locking device relative to the at least one frame member is adjustable or pivotable.
- Building facades are increasingly dominated by glass surfaces.
- façades which are made up of frameless glass elements
- façades also use large glass elements in the form of windows and doors.
- these last-mentioned facade elements must also have a correspondingly high watertightness. This is normally not a problem when these facade elements are not designed to open.
- door elements such as side entrance doors
- these facade elements are designed so that the sash strikes the so-called frame and sealingly rests against this. Due to the different combinations of materials can cause torsion in the frame elements due to the different temperatures to which these facade elements are exposed, whereby the driving rain, especially at higher wind pressures - usually these facade elements can be reduced into the room inside.
- the DE 91 03 671 U1 describes a facade element with the features of the preamble of claim 1.
- the DE 28 19 733 A1 describes a window for caravans with a tiltably held in an insertable in a wall formed by a frame profile outer frame window sash, which carries in a provided with a receiving wing profile the window pane.
- the frame profile is provided with a comprehensive U-shaped wall receiving part, on which on the side opposite the inner side leg, preferably in its extension as a stop for the window sash Attached stop bar and on the legislative workedem leg one with the window sash cooperating seal are arranged.
- a rotatable closure which is fixed to the wing profile and cooperates with a mounted on the frame profile strike plate.
- the closure consists of a flat piece, which has a slightly inwardly projecting handle.
- the at least one actuating element in the region of the filling element on the surface or the surface thereof is arranged at least partially penetrating.
- the actuating gear is also at least partially disposed in the filling element, whereby a further reduction of the frame width of the frame elements and thus a further improvement of the above-mentioned effects can be achieved.
- the filling element prefferably has a plurality of layers and spaced-apart, at least partially transparent surface elements and for at least one of the surface elements to have a recess for arranging at least a part of the actuating mechanism, at least in the region of the actuating transmission. It is thus a better reliability of the actuating gear achieved by this is namely at least partially held by the surface element itself.
- the recess may extend over the entire height of the filling element. It thus becomes possible to arrange an additional functional element in this area, e.g. a thermal insulation element or a stiffener to increase the burglar resistance.
- an additional functional element e.g. a thermal insulation element or a stiffener to increase the burglar resistance.
- the recess is pocket-shaped, since the actuating gear can be at least partially inserted into this pocket and thus From the outside, as before, the advantage of the higher glass content of the facade element can be achieved.
- a reinforcing element and / or a cover or a heat insulating element is arranged to relieve the one hand, the glass element with respect to its mechanical stress, in particular due to the frequent actuation of the actuating element and so that also the actuating gear can occur, and on the other hand, not only to prevent the view of the actuating gear, but also to provide protection against incident sunlight, which may create problems in terms of premature aging of existing in the operating gear lubricant.
- casement elements it is preferable to form the casement elements by hollow chamber profiles, since on the one hand therein the locking device can be easily arranged and on the other hand because it also the problem of distortion due to the possibility of evasion of this material at temperature stresses in the respective cavities can be better controlled , which also the watertightness can be improved compared to sash elements made of solid materials.
- Fig. 1 shows a cross-section in top view through a facade element 1 in sections in the region of an actuating element 2, as in the prior art, for example, the DE 298 16 593 U1 or the DE 91 06 477 U1 or the DE 91 03 671 U1 from which the usual arrangement of the individual components of such a facade element 1 is apparent.
- the facade element is designed as a so-called side door.
- the actuating element 2 is formed in this embodiment in the form of a door handle.
- the facade element 1 has in this embodiment, a sash member 3 in the form of a hollow chamber profile, which in the closed state to a further profile 4, which in turn is designed as a hollow chamber profile strikes, said profile 4 forms the so-called frame.
- a filling element 5 is arranged in the form of a three-plate insulating glass.
- sash element 3 is dimensioned with respect to a view width 6 so that the actuating element 2 can be arranged on the surface of this sash element 3.
- stiffening elements 7, 8 are usually formed of metal profiles.
- the face width 6 of this wing frame profile element according to the prior art is usually about 12 cm.
- FIG. 2 now shows an inventive facade element 1 in front view.
- this facade element 1 has sash elements 3, wherein four of these sash elements 3 form a frame 9, in which the filling element 5 is arranged and supported.
- the sash members 3 are cut mitred and connected together in the corner.
- the sash members 3 are also formed in the embodiment of the facade element 1 according to the invention by so-called hollow chamber profiles with a plurality of hollow chambers, said hollow chamber profiles are preferably made of plastic, but can also be formed from metal profiles, although the latter have a significantly poorer U-value.
- the hollow chamber profile design is preferred, it is also conceivable that the wing frame elements 3 are formed by wood profiles, in particular multi-part laminated wood profiles. Also called wood materials, Thus, for example, material made of plastic are embedded in the wood particles (WPC materials), can be used in particular in the form of hollow chamber profiles.
- WPC materials wood particles
- PVC is usually used as plastic, but other prior art plastics can be used.
- the facade element 1 after Fig. 2 is again designed as a door, but the invention can also be applied to windows, especially in large windows.
- "large area” is understood to mean a facade element 1 which occupies an area of at least 2 m 2 .
- the four wing frame elements 3 are designed to be identical in terms of their cross-section or their geometry. In other words, none of these sash members 3 has a larger view width 6 than the other sash members 3 of the facade element. 1
- the filling element 5 is also formed in the invention of a transparent material.
- a transparent material in particular, multi-pane insulating glazings are also preferred here, that is, for example glazings with two, three or more surface elements 10, ie glass panes.
- other transparent materials can also be used at least partially, for example transparent plastic surface elements.
- the actuating element 2 which in turn in the form of a door handle in the embodiment according to Fig. 2 is formed, not arranged on the surface of a sash member 3, but at least partially penetrating in the region of the filling element 5 on the surface thereof or its surface.
- the actuating element 2 is arranged such that it is in operative connection with an actuating gear 11, which in turn is in operative connection with a locking device 12, is arranged.
- Both the actuating gear 11 and the locking device 12 is formed according to the prior art, so that this is unnecessary further explanation and reference is made to the relevant prior art.
- the locking device 12 is in particular a multi-point lock, as shown in FIG Fig. 2 is shown. On the other hand, it is also possible that this locking device 12 is designed as a so-called turn-tilt fitting, tilting fitting, etc.
- the facade element can also be designed as a sliding door or lift-and-slide door, so that the corresponding fittings are to be used for this purpose.
- a reinforcing element 13 which may be made of plastic, or from a metal, such as stainless steel, may be arranged for reasons mentioned above.
- This reinforcing element 13 can extend only over a portion of a height 14 of the facade element 1.
- this reinforcing element 13 is arranged only in the region of the actuation gear 11 arranged behind it, whereby the reinforcing element 13 can also have a longer dimension in the direction of the height 14 than the actuation gear 11 can be in the same direction, thus for example twice as high as the actuation gear 11 ,
- this reinforcing element 13 can extend in the direction of the height 14 over the entire height of the filling element 5 in this direction.
- the reinforcing element 13 may also be designed as a pure cover, for example as a film, for example, again as a stainless steel foil or the like.
- the sash members 3 have in the embodiment of the invention of the facade element 1 a maximum view width 6 of about 6cm.
- the surface portion of the frame elements on the facade element 1 in front view amounts to a maximum of 25% of the total area, or if this area proportion has one of the above maximum values.
- Fig. 3 shows a detail of the facade element 1 after Fig. 2 in plan view and cut in the area of the actuating element 2. It is the same section as in Fig. 1 shown. It can be clearly seen that the face width 6 of the wing frame element 3 is smaller than the face width 6 of the sash element 3 after Fig. 1 , In particular, the viewing width 6 is at least approximately 30% less than that of the sash frame element 3 according to the prior art.
- the viewing width 6 of the sash elements 3 or sash profiles used for the facade element 1 according to the invention can be in the range between approximately 6 cm and 8 cm, for example 6.4 cm or 7.4 cm (optionally with glazing bead).
- the facade element 1 proposes the sash element 3 via corresponding sealing elements 15 to the profile 4 of the window frame.
- a facing shell 16 is arranged made of aluminum, as is known from the prior art.
- the hollow chambers of the sash member 3 preferably a plurality of hollow chambers are formed, such insulation elements 17 are arranged, although these are not shown.
- the wing frame member 3 also has no stiffening element 8, as in Fig. 1 is shown. However, it is possible, if desired, to arrange such a stiffening element 8, although this is not the preferred embodiment of the invention.
- the filling element 5 consists, as already mentioned, of a three-pane insulating glass with three surface elements 10, i. Glass panes, wherein in each case two of these surface elements 10 are supported by spacers 18 spaced from each other, and wherein a frame composite is produced, which is gas-tight overall.
- insulating glass elements are already known from the prior art, so that a further discussion is unnecessary at this point.
- the filling element 5 now has a recess 20, which is designed so that two of the surface elements 10 are shorter, ie, after a plan view is shown, with a smaller width, than the third surface element 10, wherein in this particular case, the third surface element 10 is arranged on the outside of a facade, not shown. So this is that side of the facade element 1, which is not arranged on the room side.
- the actuating gear 11 is arranged, which is shown only schematically.
- This actuating mechanism 11 thus extends from the recess 20 of the filling element 5 into the sash element 3, in order to be in operative connection therewith with the locking device 13, which is also indicated only schematically, and in order thereby via the actuating element 2 the locking device 12, i. at least to actuate individual parts thereof and relative to the sash member 3, so as to produce the locking engagement with corresponding fitting elements, which are arranged in the profile 4 of the frame, or release this lock, depending on the position of the actuating element. 2
- actuating element 2 e.g. make the door handle lockable, e.g. with a conventional cylinder lock.
- the actuating gear 11 and the locking device 12 are in accordance with the desired function, that is, for example, whether the facade element 1 is a rotary element or a tilt-and-turn element is formed.
- the reinforcing element 13 may be provided in this particular embodiment of the invention, on the surface of the actuating element is arranged, said reinforcing element 13 extends into the region of the surface of the left, ie shorter, surface element 10. But it can of course also a corresponding spacer element between the left and the right actuator 2 of the embodiment according to Fig. 3 be provided so that the left inner actuating part can be arranged adjacent to the surface of the filling element 5.
- a reinforcing member 13 (not shown) or a cover member as well Fig. 2 has been described.
- the latter has the function of protecting the Glaseinstand from UV rays on the one hand, on the other hand, it can also be purely optical, ie effective sales effects are achieved.
- actuating gear 11 further protrudes into the sash member 3, so that only the actuating element 2 in the filling element 5, ie in the surface and this outstanding, is arranged, of course, in this case, an operative connection must be made with the actuating gear 11.
- the left surface element 10 and the central surface element 10 are formed shortened, it is of course possible that when the actuating gear 11 has a smaller width, and the central surface element 10 has the width of the right outer surface element 10, that is not shortened or formed smaller is.
- the spacer 18 can be arranged between these two surface elements 10 in Glaseinstand, so that therefore the two spacers 18 are arranged offset from each other, although this is not absolutely necessary.
- Fig. 4 shows another embodiment of the surface element 1, in which the recess 20 in the filling element 5, which in turn is composed of the three surface elements 10 which are spaced from each other, is pocket-shaped, that in this embodiment, only the central surface element 10 with a smaller Width is executed.
- the actuating gear 11 is now arranged, so this is probably room side and outside covered by a surface element 10 and thus better protected from the weather.
- This actuating gear 11 in turn is in operative connection with the locking device 12, wherein both elements of the invention are shown only schematically.
- the recess 20 may be formed rectangular or square in front view, with other cross-sectional shapes, for example, quadrangular in the form of a half octagon or triangular in the form of a half hexagon, etc. are possible.
- a reinforcing element 13 is arranged, although this is of course not absolutely necessary.
- a cover element can also cover at least part of the height 14 of the facade element 1, as in FIG Fig. 2 represented, are arranged.
- the facade element 1 after Fig. 4 was subjected to a watertightness test according to EN 12208. Leakage values up to E 1200 Pa were determined. In comparison, the prior art facade element 1 after Fig. 1 a watertightness of 600 Pa. It can therefore be seen that a significantly better watertightness for glass doors with frame can be achieved with the inventive design of the facade element 1.
- FIG. 5 and 6 each show a detail of an embodiment of the facade element 1 in plan view and in side view.
- the filling element 5 is provided in the region of the actuating element 2, which is designed as a door handle, with the recess 20 formed thereby is that a marginal, in particular the interior of a building facing surface elements 10 shorter, ie in the installed state of the facade element 1 with a smaller width, in the region of the locking device 8 is formed.
- the transparent part of the filling element 5 is preferably formed as an insulating glass element, as is known from the prior art.
- the actuating gear 11 is arranged for the locking device 12.
- the locking device 12 is formed in this embodiment as a bolt, which cooperates with a striking plate 21 which is fixed in the profile 4 of the window frame.
- a corresponding recess 22 is provided for the arrangement of a cylinder lock in the actuating gear 11, not only to lock the facade element 1 but also to be able to shut off. It is also possible that the cylinder lock is arranged in the actuating element 2.
- a covering element 23 is provided in the region of the recess and covering same, as described above.
- both actuators 2 are arranged in the region of the filling element 5, ie both the room side and the outside.
- the insulating element 17 is provided in the region of the outside of the facade element 1 (based on the installation position), which is at least partially covered by an aluminum shell as a facing shell 16. This insulating element 17 protrudes into a glass recess 24 of the filling element 5undüber this outside.
- a corresponding holding element 25 on the sash element 3, ie the sash profile, is arranged.
- Fig. 7 shows a further development of the embodiment of the facade element 1 according to the Fig. 5 and 6 ,
- the average surface elements 10 is formed shortened, accordingly, the second spacer 18 is also offset in this area, so that therefore only the outer surface element 10 is made wider in this area.
- a further functional element 26 is arranged in the remaining space between this surface element 10 and the actuating gear 11.
- This may for example be an insulating element for improving the thermal insulation or a stiffening element with a predefinable pressure resistance to increase the burglary protection.
- the reinforcing element 13 is arranged, which extends from the surface of the sash member 3 to the surface of the inner surface member 10 and adjacent thereto, so as to cover the space on the one hand, the recess 20 and on the other hand to form a mounting surface for the room-side actuator 2.
- this recess 20 is at least partially filled with the above-mentioned functional element 26.
- this functional element 26 has a width which at least approximately corresponds to the thickness of the glass element in the same direction, so as to form a larger contact surface for the glass element.
- the functional element 26 may be provided with a offset 28.
- the room side are also in this Embodiment variant, the reinforcing element 13 and on the outside of the cover 23rd
- the sash members 3, ie the sash profiles, may also have a different cross-section than shown in the figures described so far.
- the reinforcing element 13 can be formed approximately in alignment with the transparent part of the filling element 5.
- two, ie the room-side and the middle surface element 10 are designed to form the recess 20 shorter, the outer surface element 10 projects into the Glaseinstand 24 of the sash element 3.
- the recess 20 only in the region of the actuating gear 11 or be executed extending over the entire height of the filling element 5, wherein also the arrangement of further functional elements in the recess 20 is possible.
- 3 surface elements 10 are arranged (it can also be four if necessary), wherein the distance to the outer surface element 10 (generally upper in Figs .) to the center is greater than the distance of the middle to the inner surface element 10 (generally lower in the Fig.). It is thus possible between the outer and the middle surface element 10 to arrange a wider functional element 26 for thermal insulation. It is further apparent that only between the middle and the inner surface element 10, a spacer 18 is arranged.
- the inner surface element 10 is designed to be larger than the central surface element 10.
- a, in particular film-like, cover 23 is mounted at least in the region of the recess 20.
- cover element 23 a glass element which is opaque in this area, for example produced by sandblasting, etching, grinding, etc.
- the functional element 26 is formed multi-layered, as in particular from Fig. 8 is apparent.
- the individual layers can thereby be the same or different, so that combinations of several functions in the recess 20 can be realized, for example, a combination of burglary protection and thermal insulation.
- glass is preferably used for the surface element in the context of the invention.
- the division into a transparent and non-transparent part, as described above, however, may have advantages with regard to the installation of the actuating gear 11.
- the transparent portion outweighs the filling element 5, since the non-transparent part is designed only in the region of the arrangement of the actuating gear 11, wherein the longitudinal extent may extend at least approximately to the height of the actuating gear 11, but also up to can extend the entire height of the filling element 5, ie intermediate lengths between these two variants are also possible, so that the non-transparent part is e.g. may also extend over a height which may be 50% or 75%, etc., of the entire height of the filling element 5.
- the facade element may e.g. be designed as a balcony or patio door.
- the sash elements 3 serve to surround the filling element 5.
