Definitions

  • the invention relates to a ski with an attachment body arranged in front of the front binding and / or with a rear body arranged behind the rear binding, the upper side of which slopes preferably towards the ski binding and at least in regions, and which is connected to the associated binding member.
  • attachment bodies in particular in front of the front binding, but also behind the heel binding of a ski, which are intended to provide a snow-repellent and aerodynamic covering for the binding and in some cases also for the ski boot.
  • these attachment bodies can also have the purpose of improving the appearance of the ski, which is sometimes disturbed by the external shape of the binding organs.
  • the object of the invention is to make the connection of the attachment body to the binding members and to the ski functional in a ski of the type mentioned above, but also to allow an uncomplicated adaptation to different ski shoe sizes.
  • At least one of the attachment bodies with the associated binding member can be displaceably displaced in or on the ski-fixed guides in the longitudinal direction of the ski.
  • a binding organ front binding, heel binding
  • the assigned attachment body automatically follows this movement.
  • a "ski-fixed" guide is to be understood as a component of the ski which is already formed on the ski during ski manufacture or is connected to the ski and does not have to be attached to the ski during the mounting of the binding, as is usually the case when the base is screwed on - or mounting plate of a binding member or the binding member itself is the case.
  • the attachment body and the associated binding member can have a common ski-fixed guide, but in view of the structural differences between the attachment body on the one hand and the binding member on the other hand, it is more expedient if the attachment body and the associated binding member are guided in separate ski-fixed guides in the longitudinal direction of the ski. This is also advantageous because an excessively long guide rail or the like could result in unfavorable stiffening of the ski.
  • the attachment body consists of a jacket body which is displaceable on a ski-fixed core rail and surrounds the core rail.
  • the core rail can be fastened in a recess on the top of the ski, with the side walls of the attachment body also being in this Protrusion.
  • the depression can be formed, for example, in the shell of the ski.
  • the attachment body preferably has an upper side which rises obliquely towards the binding member. Since the movable attachment bodies already require a certain height above the ski surface due to their guide members at the ends facing away from the attachment members, it is again advantageous for aerodynamic reasons and for the purpose of good snow repellency if in front of the attachment part assigned to the front binding or behind that assigned to the heel binding.
  • the top part of the ski has an elevation that rises towards the ski binding and is integrated with the ski.
  • the gap between these integrated elevations and the movable attachment bodies can be closed by an adapter, which e.g. protrudes into the attachment body and forms the guide (core rail) of the attachment body there.
  • the top of the elevation, attachment body and, if necessary, the adapter piece is preferably formed by a common inclined plane.
  • metal guide rails can be used for the sliding of the binding members in the longitudinal direction of the ski. These guide rails can be molded into the material of the ski cover.
  • the respective attachment body is connected in an articulated manner to the associated binding element, preferably with the aid of a normal to vertical ski center plane lying connecting bolt.
  • FIG. 1 shows schematically a side view of the ski and Fig. 2 shows a plan view.
  • 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 are cross-sections of the ski with respect to the cut surfaces designated with corresponding Roman numerals in FIG. 1.
  • FIG. 6 is a longitudinal section in the area of the cross section according to FIG. 5.
  • the ski has a ski body 1, the structure of which is not shown in detail in the cross sections according to FIGS. 3 to 5 and 7 to 9, but usually consists of top and bottom belt layers, core, steel edges and outsole covering.
  • This ski body 1 is laterally and upwards from a sleeve 2 made of plastic, for. B. enclosed elastomeric plastic.
  • the ski body 1 can be inserted as a raw ski in a mold according to a preferred production method, after which the material of the casing is inserted into the remaining mold cavity corresponding to the casing after the mold has been closed.
  • This process is known as RIM (reaction injection molding) process, by which e.g. Polyurethane or its components isocyanate and polyol are injected into the mold cavity.
  • RIM reaction injection molding
  • the invention is not limited to this manufacturing method.
  • the ski On its upper side, the ski is designed as follows from the shovel area to the rear of the ski (FIG. 1): After an area A with an essentially flat or flat upper side, an area B with an oblique face follows rising elevation 3, which can be formed by the casing 2 and which is followed by an adapter 4, a front attachment body 5 which can be displaced in the longitudinal direction of the ski and the front binding 6 which can also be displaced in the longitudinal direction of the ski.
  • the elevations 3 and 11 can be formed from the material of the casing 2, as it were as a thickening of the casing. Adjoining the elevations 3, 11 are butt ends of the plastic adaptation pieces 4, 10 (FIG. 3,9), which protrude with their base facing the ski into a groove-shaped depression 2 'of the ski surface.
  • the adaptation pieces 4, 10 extend into the interior of the attachment bodies 5, 9 designed as a jacket body made of plastic, preferably reinforced plastic, and there form the core rails for the displacement of the attachment bodies 5, 9 in the longitudinal direction of the ski.
  • the guide surfaces 12 on the adapter pieces 4, 10 run parallel to the inclined top of the adapter pieces 4, 10 or the attachment body 5, 9, so that when the attachment body 5, 9 is moved in the longitudinal direction of the ski, where the exposed part of the adapter pieces 4, 10 in the attachment body 5, 9 occurs, neither an enlarging Gap still jamming between the adapter 4, 10 and the top body occurs.
  • the connection of the adapter pieces 4, 10 to the ski can, as can be seen from FIGS. 3 and 9, take place by means of screws 13, for which holes 14 in the concealed area of the adapter pieces 4, 10 are left free. Another possibility would be, for example, to glue the adapter pieces 4, 10 to the ski or to connect them by means of a snap-in connection.
  • the front attachment body 5 is connected to the front binding 6 by means of a bolt 14.
  • the front binding 6, as can be seen in FIG. 4, has a frame 15 made of metal, which is guided in a ski-fixed rail 16 so as to be displaceable in the longitudinal direction of the ski.
  • the rail 16 is molded into the shell 2 and is preferably inserted into the mold cavity of the mold for molding the shell together with the ski body 1 during the manufacture of the ski.
  • the front binding 6 is equipped in the usual way with a sole hold-down device 17 and lateral sole holders 18 and with a device for adjusting the release force with the aid of the adjusting screw 19 accessible from the footprint of the shoe.
  • the frame of the front binding can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the ski, specifically to adjust the front binding to different ski boot sizes.
  • the frame 15 can be locked in several positions with the rail 16, for example with the aid of locking pins 20, which are shown in FIG. 4 in the raised position.
  • connection of the attachment body 5 to the front binding 6 via a bolt 14 is expedient because this creates an articulated connection which can follow the deflections of the ski.
  • the sole support plate 21 made of plastic, which engages with a tongue 22 in the frame 15 of the front binding, is located on the front binding 6 - as can be seen in FIGS. 5 and 6.
  • a tension strut 23 made of metal connects the front binding 6 to the heel binding 8 along the shoe standing surface 7. It runs sunk in a groove-like depression in the shell 2 of the ski and is covered upwards by a cover plate (Fig. 7).
  • the binding body 25 made of metal is movably guided in the longitudinal direction of the ski in a ski-fixed rail 26 made of metal.
  • the sole hold-down 27 made of metal or plastic is pivotably mounted on the binding body 25.
  • a plastic part 28 In the interior of the binding body 25 there is a plastic part 28 as an abutment for a spring, the setting of which influences the release force.
  • the associated adjusting element, e.g. B. a bolt is accessible through the bore 29 in the plastic part 28 from the shoe stand.
  • the rail 26 is embedded in the cover 2 of the ski and is preferably molded in when the cover 2 is molded onto the ski body 1 (as described above for the rail 16 of the front binding).
  • the tension strut 23 While the tension strut 23 is rigidly connected to the front binding, this is not the case with the heel binding. There, the tension strut 23, which has a central recess, is supported by a spring element 30 on the binding body 25, more precisely on an intermediate plate 31, which is connected to the binding body 25 via an adjustable latching.
  • the adjustable latching is used to adjust the heel binding to different shoe sizes.
  • the spring element 30 When entering the binding, the spring element 30 enables the heel binding 8 or the binding body 18 to evade, which for this purpose can move relative to the tension strut 23 against the action of the spring element.
  • the associated attachment body 9 is also connected in an articulated manner to the binding body 25 with the aid of a bolt 32.
  • the structure of the rear attachment body 9 with its longitudinal guide on the ski body (FIG. 9) is similar to the relevant features of the front attachment body 5 (FIG. 3) and have already been described in more detail there.
  • ski is also equipped with a ski stopper.
  • This and the necessary training on the ski body and / or the binding are not shown in the drawings for the sake of clarity.
