Definitions

  • the invention relates to a conveying device for candies with a transfer wheel rotating about a stationary axis, which is arranged between a gripper wheel and a wrapping wheel and on a rotating housing a plurality of pivotable, paired holding elements for detecting and transferring the candies from the gripper wheel to the wrapping wheel and has packaging tongs assigned to the holding element pairs, with a drive device for the holding element pairs and packaging tongs.
  • a solution for the continuous transport and wrapping of candies which consists of a separating plate, a gripper wheel, a transfer wheel and a wrapping wheel.
  • the gripper wheel, transfer wheel and wrapping wheel rotate in opposite directions continuously and in pairs.
  • the speeds of these rotary elements are coordinated so that their holding elements meet symmetrically at the transfer or transfer points at the point of contact of the partial circles with the same rotational speed.
  • the holding elements each meet at an offset of 90 o to one another so that they do not interfere with the transfer or takeover.
  • This device can be used for small items that are processed by a separating plate to suit the machine.
  • This device cannot be used for articles which are cut off from a tangentially supplied continuous strand of mass and in which the cut surface represents the folding surface of the packaging material. Such soft articles would affect the order process on the Distortion plates deform, which would lead to disruptions in the further processing. These items must be recorded individually and fed to the machine.
  • DE-A-39 15 888 describes a device for wrapping candies with a soft consistency, which also consists of a gripper and wrapping wheel, between which a transfer wheel is arranged.
  • the transfer wheel is provided with holding elements for grasping and transporting the candies, the opening and closing movement of the holding elements being carried out by means of a toothed rack, ratchet lever and cam drive in conjunction with a compression spring.
  • the holding elements are swiveled by 90 o via a pinion in conjunction with a cam drive after the sweets have been taken over. This swiveling movement is completed before the packaging material is fed in.
  • a packaging tongs is provided on the transfer wheel, which applies the cutting to the candy. After the candies and the packaging have been handed over to the wrapping wheel, the holding elements pivot back into their starting position.
  • the drive elements of this device are subject to heavy wear and cause a high level of noise.
  • the wear has a negative effect on the positional accuracy of the work organs at the individual transfer and transfer stations and affects the quality of the packs.
  • a reliable function of the packaging tongs could not be achieved with the selected cam drive.
  • the invention has for its object to design a conveyor device of the type mentioned so that a precise, low-wear motion control for the pivoting, opening and Closing movement of the holding elements is secured with increased smoothness of the conveyor.
  • a control cam device for the holding element pairs is fixed on the stationary axis of the transfer wheel, with which for each holding element pair a pivot actuating device and an opening and closing control device together to derive both the pivoting movement and the opening and closing movement of the holding element pair are engaged.
  • the solution according to the invention achieves an extremely compact and essentially play-free and wear-free drive design for controlling the movement of the pairs of holding elements of the transfer wheel both with respect to their pivoting about their longitudinal axis and with respect to the opening and closing movement of the holding elements of each pair of holding elements.
  • Even in the high-performance range of approx. 1400 to 1600 rpm an exact and essentially deformation-free transfer of the candies can be made possible, the noise emission can be kept low and a low-maintenance operation of the conveyor device and thus also of the entire candy packaging machine containing the conveyor device can be achieved.
  • control cam device is formed by a drum cam with opposing cam tracks, with which cam track a support roller, which is eccentrically mounted with respect to the longitudinal central axis of the radially extending pairs of support elements, engages with the associated support element pair, depending on the play a pivoting movement of preferably from the circumferential position of the pair of holding elements 90 o to be given.
  • the drum cam also has an axially projecting inner flange which has a cam disk in the circumferential direction for controlling a control roller which is in engagement therewith and which is part of the opening and closing control device for each pair of holding elements.
  • the control of the packaging tongs movement for applying a packaging blank to the candy seized by a pair of holding elements is controlled by a double cam disc in connection with a double cam lever, a transmission gear designed as a quadrilateral joint providing a correspondingly large adjustment path for the approach - And distance movement of a packaging tongs leads to the associated holding element pair.
  • An advantageous embodiment for the opening and closing control device which controls the opening and closing movement of the holding elements of a pair of holding elements, can also be achieved in that a plunger transmitting the movement of a control lever directly onto a tooth flank of one which is firmly connected to the one holding element of the holding element pair, preferably two toothed tooth segment acts, while on the opposite side in contact with a tooth flank of the further, connected to the other holding element of the holding element pair, preferably having two teeth, an elastic pretensioning device is arranged.
  • the conveyor device enables the swivel control device for generating the swivel movement of the holding elements with the aid of the swivel control device to have a low-wear and quiet opening.
  • the opening and closing control device allows wear-independent, low-play work for generating the opening and closing movement of the holding elements.
  • the conveying device can preferably be used for an encapsulated transfer wheel in which all drive parts, including those for controlling the packaging tongs and the holding element pairs, are sealed against external influences, such as sugar dust and the like.
  • the space available for driving the holding elements and the packaging tongs is very limited, so that there are difficulties with regard to the control movement of the packaging tongs to achieve the required swivel angle, since the diameter of the packaging tongs used to control the packaging tongs fixed control cam can only be selected relatively small.
  • a solution to these problems is achieved by using a transmission gear which increases the pivoting movement derived from the cam disc and which is preferably formed by a four-bar linkage. In the configuration of a preferred embodiment of the invention, this enables the associated pivoting in and out Packaging tongs at a sufficient angle with respect to the associated holding element pair at the required times.
  • Fig. 1 shows in axial section along the line AA in Fig. 2 a, preferably the conveyor device for the transfer of candies B between a (not shown here) gripper wheel and a (also not shown here) wrapping wheel transfer wheel 100 for the continuous wrapping of candies of candies with a soft consistency (soft caramel).

  • the scanning roller 17 is mounted directly radially on an end face of the bearing block 24 directed towards the axis 1 of the transfer wheel 100, eccentrically to the longitudinal central axis 30 and guided between the cam tracks 16, so that a very space-saving arrangement is obtained, as is also shown in FIG. 2.
  • Fig. 3 is shown schematically as a settlement.
  • the eccentric mounting of each scanning roller 17 is made in connection with the design of the cam tracks 16 of the drum cam 15 so that there is a total pivoting angle for each bearing block 24 with the pair of holding elements 26, 26 'mounted thereon relative to that Housing 2 results from a uniform swiveling operation on both sides with respect to the longitudinal central axis 30 by half the total swiveling angle (45 o ).
  • the drum curve 15 integrally has an axially stepped inner flange 15a, with which the drum curve 15 is firmly connected to the axis 1.
  • the inner flange 15a of the drum cam 15 projecting axially into the space between the cam tracks 16 is configured at its first shoulder in the circumferential direction to form a cam disk 18 on which a control roller 19 of the opening and closing control device 60 for controlling the opening and closing movement of the associated holding elements 26, 26 'rolls.
