  • US Pat. No. 3,703,788 describes a sealing device fastened to the lower edge of the door leaf with a U-shaped rail and a sealing strip which can be displaced vertically in the rail.
  • a curved leaf spring is attached at one end to the rail, in the middle to the sealing strip and at the second end to a block slidably mounted in the rail. The block is pushed in by an operating rod protruding over the rail when the door is closed completely. Due to the toggle action of the spring, the bar is pressed down and seals the door leaf against the floor.
