Definitions

  • the invention relates to a base for a halogen incandescent lamp according to the preamble of protection claim 1.
  • Such bases are known from GB-PA 2 093 632. They are preferably used for halogen H1 lamps with only one filament that are used in headlights of motor vehicles.
  • the contact tongue which consists of a contact tab and an integrally formed tab, is held in the ceramic base stone by means of two flats at the end of the tab and by means of a shoulder in the connection area between tab and contact tab.
  • This type of holder has the disadvantage that the contact tongue is not locked in the desired extent in the base stone.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a base for a halogen lamp, which has a contact tongue with a play-free seat in the base stone.
  • the invention enables simple and secure attachment of a contact tongue in a base block, which is made of an electrically insulating material.
  • the type of fastening according to the invention can be used very advantageously with ceramic base stones because, due to the sintering process during their manufacture, they have relatively large tolerances in their dimensions. These tolerances are compensated for by the resilient effect of preferably two spring tongues, which support the contact tongue at two points in the base stone and thus prevent tilting movements of the contact tongue against the lamp axis. Because each spring tongue is spread apart from the tab body in two mutually orthogonal planes, the contact tongue is supported in both directions perpendicular to the lamp axis.
  • the spring tongues in combination with the flats at the end of a tab belonging to the contact tongue and a shoulder designed as a shoulder in the connection area between the tab and the contact lug, ensure that the contact tongue is properly locked in the base block in the axial direction.
  • FIG. 1 shows an H1 halogen incandescent lamp for motor vehicle headlights with a base 1 according to the invention.
  • a first 5 and a second power supply 6 protrude from the squeeze foot of the lamp bulb 2, each of which is electrically conductively connected to a molybdenum foil 3 are.
  • the first power supply 5 is in electrical contact with the base sleeve 4 via two leaf spring contacts 7, which are molded onto the base sleeve 4.
  • the second power supply 6 is welded to the end 8a of a metallic tab 8, which in turn is molded onto a contact tab 9.
  • the tab 8 and its molded contact lug 9 together form the contact tongue 10, which is inserted through a slot-shaped opening 15 in the base stone 11. Details of the invention can be found in FIGS. 2a, 2b and 3. They show different views of the contact tongue 10 consisting of the tab 8 and contact lug 9 and a cross section through the ceramic base stone 11.
  • the tab 8 has two spring tongues 12 punched out on one edge, each of which is arranged within a recess 13 and away from the tab body are bent out. Each spring tongue 12 is spread apart on the one hand in the plane of the tab body, so that the recesses 13 enlarge (FIG. 2a), and on the other hand additionally bent out of the plane of the tab body (FIG. 2b).
  • the contact tongue 10 has a shoulder 14 in the connection area between the tab 8 and the contact lug 9.
  • the roughly cuboid ceramic base stone 11 (FIG. 3) has a slot-shaped opening 15 with an extension 15a into which the tab 8 is fitted.
  • the ceramic wall delimiting the extension 15a of the shoulder 14 serves as a stop (FIG. 4).
  • the spring tongues 12 are arranged within the slot-shaped opening 15 and exert a spring pressure against the ceramic wall there. This ensures a play-free fit of the contact tongue 10 in the base stone 11.
  • the end 8a of the tab 8 protruding from the base stone 11 has two flats 16 directly above the base stone 11, which together with the shoulder 14 fix the contact tongue 10 in the axial direction (A-A) in the base stone 11.
  • a further opening 17 is provided in the base stone 11, which is used to fasten it within the base sleeve 4 by means of a rivet rivet (FIG. 1).
  • the two spring tongues 12 are punched out on the same edge of the tab (8) and spread apart in the same direction from the tab body.
  • An equally good, but procedural less optimal locking of the contact tongue 10 in the base stone 11 can also be achieved with other arrangements of the spring tongues 12.
  • the spring tongues 12 can be punched out on mutually opposite edges of the tab 8 and / or can be spread apart from the tab body in different ways.
