Definitions

  • the invention relates to a conveying device for metal sheets or the like.
  • a conveying device for metal sheets or the like.
  • At least one lifting magnet that can be attached to a lifting device via a mounting harness and is freely supported about a horizontal axis of rotation, preferably the pivoting movement of the magnets in the direction of rotation is limited by a horizontal stroke.
  • a conveyor device is already known from FR-A-2 531 259.
  • Lifting magnets have so far been used via chain slings or the like. attached as lifting tackle to a hoist and assume a horizontal position when lifting a load. Sheet metal panels can therefore also only be transported in such a horizontal position with such lifting magnets, which brings with it considerable space problems, particularly in the case of larger sheet metal panel dimensions.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of eliminating these deficiencies and of providing a conveyor device of the type described at the outset which ensures simple, rational and, above all, space-saving handling of metal sheets, even of large dimensions.
  • each lifting magnet is mounted in support bearings of the receiving tableware, which support bearings are each integrated in a parallel-like suspension, the pivot axes of which are normal to the axis of rotation of the magnets. Because of the free pivotability of the lifting magnet or magnets, when lifting the metal sheets, which are picked up by the lifting magnets off-center, the metal sheets are edged up and the sheets are transported in a steep inclined position, which depends on the eccentricity of the metal sheet center of gravity compared to the magnetic center of gravity . This rotatability of the lifting magnets alone makes it possible to transport and handle sheet metal panels of any size in a clever and space-saving manner, the construction and production expenditure for the conveyor device remaining extremely low.
  • the support for the magnets forming the tableware can be practically designed as desired and combined with any hoist, so that the area of application of the conveyor device is not limited to special new crane structures and manipulators or the like, and their use does not require any special retrofitting work for existing hoists.
  • lifting magnets So that larger metal sheets can be transported, two or more lifting magnets are required, these lifting magnets then being lined up next to one another and pivotable about a common axis of rotation, in order to ensure that the metal sheets can be tilted up when lifting and the corresponding tilting down when the metal sheets are put down.
  • a horizontal sheet transport can also be carried out with this conveying device, for which purpose only the magnets have to be placed so eccentrically on the boards that the resulting torque presses the magnets against the horizontal stop.
  • the axis of rotation is offset downwards and laterally in relation to the parallel center of gravity of the magnets in the direction of the horizontal stop, since the load-free lifting magnets automatically pivot into the horizontal position due to the existing torque and a defined starting position of these lifting magnets is always present is.
  • the swiveling moment caused by a load pick-up far exceeds this restoring moment, so that the inclined position of the metal sheets is not impaired during transport.
  • the magnets can also be pivoted into the vertical position determined by the vertical stop by means of a corresponding abutment torque and can thus be used, for example, to hold upright sheets. In order to achieve this moment of impetus, it is sufficient to touch the magnets, for example, at the edges of the metal sheet, or to carry out similar movements with the hoist without any problems.
  • the support bearings of the magnets are each integrated in a parallel link-like hanger of the receiving tableware, the pivot axes of the hanger running normal to the axis of rotation of the magnets.
  • These hangers allow a transverse movement to the pivoting movement of the magnets, so that the position of the lifting magnets can adapt to the corrugations and bending lines of the sheets and there is no risk of the magnets coming loose due to excessive tearing or tilting forces or the like. is coming.
  • the magnets can follow any existing height differences of the mounting points when placing them on metal sheets, and it is ensured that all magnets are really well placed on the sheet metal surface.
  • the limit stop ensures that the magnets are in exactly the same hanging position and that the metal sheets are properly hung.
  • the suspension rods can be used in two rotational positions in the receiving support which are assigned to the rectangular sides, since the position of the magnets can be adapted in shape to the sheets to be transported.
  • the rectangular lifting magnets are aligned lengthways to these strips when transporting sheet metal strips and not transversely to their length as when transporting larger metal sheets.
  • the lifting force of the magnets can be adjusted to the weight of the sheet metal to be lifted.
  • a simple voltage control of the power supply for the magnets is provided for setting the holding force, so that the operating personnel can ensure such a setting or a change in the setting at any time.
  • the conveying device is used for a sheet metal magazine which forms compartments for storing upturned sheet metal sheets, the compartments having side supports or side support surfaces which are inclined outwards and floor supports or floor support surfaces which are inclined downwards towards the supports.
  • a sheet metal magazine only requires a fraction of the space that A conventional magazine for flat-lying metal sheets requires and provides an optimal addition to the conveyor device according to the invention, which promotes the metal sheets hanging in an inclined position.
  • the metal sheets can be properly placed in the compartments and also removed from the compartments again, the sloping side support surfaces and the inclined floor supports guaranteeing that the metal sheets lie tightly together in the compartments and that storage is particularly space-saving.
  • a conveying device 1 which consists of a lifting tackle 3 which can be attached to a lifting device 2 and at least one, but preferably three or more lifting magnets 4 lined up next to one another.
  • These lifting magnets are pivotally mounted about a horizontal axis of rotation 5 in support bearings 6 of the receiving tableware 3, a horizontal stop 7 limiting the pivoting movement in one direction of rotation so that a horizontal magnet position is determined.
  • the axis of rotation 5 is offset relative to the axis of gravity S of the magnets 4 parallel to the axis of rotation downwards and laterally in the direction of the horizontal stop 7, as indicated in FIG.
  • the magnets 4 are forcibly brought into the horizontal position by the resulting torque and also held in this due to gravity.
  • a vertical stop 8 opposite to the horizontal stop is provided, the magnet can tip over from the horizontal position into the vertical position by a corresponding impulse, since when the magnet swivels and the relative movement of the center of gravity and axis of rotation that occurs as a result, the center of gravity S pivots over the axis of rotation 5 from a certain swivel angle and then a torque in the opening direction arises (dashed line in Fig. 1).
  • the support bearings 6 are incorporated in a parallel link-type suspension 9 of the receiving tableware 2, the pivot axes 10 of the suspension 9 extending normal to the axis of rotation 5 of the magnets.
  • the magnets 4 can thus be pivoted on the one hand about the pivot axis 5 and on the other hand about a normal horizontal axis, and of course it would also be possible to mount the magnets on the hangers via rotary or ball joints.
  • the hangers 9 are supported by a suspension rod 11 on a receiving support 12 of the dishes 3, the suspension rod 11 being slidably seated in a vertical guide 13 so that the magnets can adapt to different support heights.
  • the suspension rod 11 is supported by a corresponding stop head 14 on the mounting bracket 12, wherein notching 15 between the stop head 14 and the mounting bracket 12 allows two different rotational positions of the hangers 9 to be set, which make it possible to use the magnet 4 in length or width.
  • the receiving support 12 also allows the desired number of hangers 9 to be provided and easily lined up next to one another and at the same time results in a simple connection for the lifting device 2.
  • the conveyor device 1 can be optimally combined with a sheet metal magazine 16 which has compartments 17 for the upright storage of the metal sheets B.
  • the compartments form outwardly inclined side supports 18 and bottom supports 19 inclined downwards toward the side supports 18, so that the arranged metal sheets B lie closely and closely together.
  • the horizontal stops 7 of the magnets 4 also make it possible, with a correspondingly selected eccentric mounting of the metal sheets B, to utilize the resulting tilting moment and to pivot the magnets in the direction limited by the stop, so that horizontal sheet metal delivery is also possible (dash-dotted illustration in FIG. 4).
  • the vertical stops 8 also allow the empty magnets 4 or the like to be taken into the compartments 17 for removal of individual metal sheets B by simply striking them on embedded metal sheets. to bring them into their vertical position and to be able to drive into the narrow compartments without difficulty.
