Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a shoe according to the preamble of the main claim.
  • the most common and best-known device for fitting shoes to fit the human foot consists of a shoelace closure in which the shoelaces are passed through eyelets on the shoe, a firm closure being achieved by tightening and tying the shoelaces.
  • This tried and tested shoe fastener is easy to manufacture and leads to a secure shoe fastener that holds the shoe in a snug fit on the foot.
  • a disadvantage of the shoelace closure is that the closing of the shoe is relatively cumbersome, since the shoelace must be tightened at all eyes and the shoelaces must be secured against opening by tightening with knots or loops.
  • Velcro fasteners have already been used for shoes, textile clothing, backpacks, bags and the like. Although such hook-and-loop fasteners result in very durable fasteners, they can open under extreme loads, in particular under the action of a pull which is directed away from the direction of the connecting plane of the two opposite hook-and-loop elements.
  • Velcro fasteners only open or close individually, whereas shoelace fasteners, to a certain extent, can be tensioned or released by pulling on the end of the shoelace. This results in a more even distribution of the closure forces in the shoelace closure than in the case of individual Velcro closures.
  • a generic shoe containing a shoelace and additional Velcro elements is known (US-A-4 296 558). This shoe does not offer the possibility of creating an interchangeable closure, i.e. to use either a shoelace or a Velcro to lock the shoe.
  • the Velcro elements of this shoe are not used to lock the shoe, but only to regulate the tension of the shoe.
  • the object of the present invention is to provide a shoe with a shoe fastener which gives the wearer of the shoe the option of optionally using the advantages of the shoelace fastener, namely a more secure, uniform and firm fastener, with the advantages of the Velcro fastener, namely quick opening and closing the closure, if desired, so that a quick change between the two types of closure is possible according to the individual needs of the shoe user.
  • An interchangeable combination of a shoelace fastener with a Velcro fastener is created in that openings are provided on the shoe parts containing the shoelace eyelets, in which exchangeable connecting elements can be fastened which carry Velcro elements.
  • the interchangeable connectors are attached in the openings and then on the opposite Tavern attached by means of the Velcro elements. If you want a shoelace closure, the connecting elements are removed from the openings and shoelace eyelets are inserted instead.
  • the openings on the shoe part containing the shoelace eyelets consist of slots through which the connecting elements can be guided in the form of connecting strips, as a result of which they are slidably held in the slots.
  • Half of the respective connecting strip contains a fastening part, with which the connecting strip can be fastened on the shoe part which is opposite the slot and contains the shoelace eyelets. After attaching one half of the connecting strip to the shoe part, the other half of the connecting strip can be slipped over the first half of the connecting strip and will be attached to the underlying second half of the connecting strip using the Velcro elements, whereby the two parts of the shoe containing the shoelace eyelets be firmly connected.
  • the releasable fastening of the connecting strip can consist of a pin fastened to the connecting strip with a thickened hemispherical or spherical head, which can releasably engage in an opening on the shoe part containing the shoelace eyelets.
  • the opening can preferably be a slot-like opening, into which the head of the pin engages and forms a connection that is resistant to tension by a stop at the end of the slot.
  • the Velcro elements are preferably arranged on one side of the connecting strip in such a way that a fluffy fleece is arranged on approximately one half of the connecting strip and hook-like elements are arranged on approximately the other half of the connecting strip which, after the connecting strips have been passed through the openings and the two halves of the connecting strips have been placed one above the other mesh.
  • the Velcro elements are on the side of the connecting strip which is opposite the side on which the releasable fastening is located.
  • the connecting strip can initially with the releasable attachment lying on the underside, for. B. in the form of a pin with a head, are fastened in the opening on the shoe part containing the shoelace eyelets by pressing the pin into the opening, then the connecting strip can be guided through the slot on the opposite shoe part and folded over so that the two halves of the connecting strip lie one above the other.
  • the Velcro elements located on the opposite halves of the connecting strip are pressed against one another and result in a closure which connects the two opposite parts of the shoe to one another.
  • the Velcro fastener is opened, the connecting pin on the connecting strip is pulled out of the shoe part carrying the shoelace eyelets and the connecting strip is pulled out of the slot. With the shoelaces drawn into the shoelace eyelets, a traditional shoelace closure can then be produced.
  • Fig. 1 shows a shoe 1 with a shoelace closure 10, which consists of a left shoe part 12a, which carries the left shoelace eyelets 14, and a right shoe part 12b, which accordingly carries the left shoelace eyelets 14.
  • Shoelaces 16 are guided through the shoelace eyelets 14, with which the two shoe parts 12a and 12b can be firmly tied together (FIG. 2).
  • the shoe part 12a has an opening in the form of a slot 26 below the shoelace eyelets 14 through which a connecting strip 24 made of a soft leather-like material is passed.
  • the connecting strip which is shown in Figures 3 and 4, carries on one of its two surfaces Velcro elements, which are arranged so that one of the two halves, z. B. the left half, the hook-like Velcro elements, while the other half, z. B. the right half carries the interacting fleece elements.
  • the arrangement of the right and left halves can be interchanged, too the two halves do not have to be of exactly the same size, but can vary in their surface distribution depending on the design needs or the shape of the shoe. It is only necessary that the overlapping halves of the connecting strip form a sufficiently large overlap area of the Velcro elements, so that a secure closure is guaranteed.
  • a releasable fastening 28 in the form of a pin 32 with a hemispherical head is fastened, which can engage in an opening 30 on the shoe part 12b and can get caught in the opening 30, so that a connection between the Connecting strips 24 and the shoe part 12b can be produced.
