Claims (4)

  1. Moteur à combustion interne à quatre temps (1), notamment pour la propulsion d'un véhicule automobile, comprenant, pour chaque cylindre (6), des soupapes de distribution et une soupape d'échappement additionnelle (5), commandée par un dispositif d'actionnement (7), et comprenant aussi un volet d'étranglement (3) agencé dans le conduit d'échappement (2) du moteur à combustion interne (1), et qui peut être commandé par un dispositif d'actionnement (4), les dispositifs d'actionnement (4, 7) pouvant être actionnés par au moins un distributeur réglable commandé par un contact de frein (12), et dans lequel, pendant le freinage, après l'actionnement du contact de frein (12), et en présence de vitesses de rotation supérieures à une vitesse de rotation limite prédéterminée, il se produit un freinage du moteur à combustion interne (1) par ouverture des soupapes d'échappement additionnelles (5) ainsi que par étranglement des gaz d'échappement par le volet d'étranglement (3) mis en position de fermeture,
    caractérisé
    en ce que le volet d'étranglement (3) et les soupapes d'échappement additionnelles (5) sont commandés par le contact de frein (12), par l'intermédiaire de distributeurs séparés (9 et 18),
    et en ce qu'au-dessous de la vitesse de rotation limite prédéterminée et lorsque le contact de frein (12) est actionné, les soupapes d'échappement additionelles (5) sont mises dans la position de fermeture, par un contact (13) de vitesse de rotation, par l'intermédiaire du distributeur (18) tandis que le volet d'étranglement (3) reste maintenu dans la position de fermeture par le distributeur (18) directement commandé par le contact de frein (12).
  2. Moteur à combustion interne à quatre temps selon la revendication 1,
    caractérisé
    en ce que le distributeur (9) et le distributeur (18) sont reliés au contact de frein (12) par l'intermédiaire de lignes de commande séparées (20, 21).
  3. Moteur à combustion interne selon la revendication 1, ou 2,
    caractérisé
    en ce que le contact de vitesse de rotation (13) est intercalé dans la ligne de commande (21) et ce contact est connecté à un capteur de vitesse de rotation (14) prévu sur le moteur à combustion interne (1).
  4. Moteur à combustion interne à quatre temps selon une des revendications 1 à 3,
    caractérisé
    en ce que les dispositifs d'actionnement (4, 7) peuvent être alimentés en air comprimé par l'intermédiaire de distributeurs (9, 18) commandés électriquement.
