Abstract

Die Vorrichtung besteht aus mindestens einer Manschette (2) mit einer Anzahl von Kammern (13). Die Manschette kann um die zu behandelnde Extremität des Patienten gelegt werden, während im Anschluß hieran die Kammern (13) mit Hilfe von Ventilen (15) aufgeblasen und entlüftet werden können.
Zur Erzielung einer optimalen Behandlung des Ptienten und einer einfachen Bauweise der Vorrichtung sind alle Ven­ tile (15) in Reihe geschaltet und über eine gemeinsame Steuerleitung (12) nacheinander kaskadenartig ansteuerbar. Ferner sind eine Versorgungsleitung (11) und die Steuer­ leitung (12) nur an dem ersten Ventil (15a) angeschlossen, während dahinter jeweils zwei einander benachbarte Ventile (15) durch Versorgungs- und Steuerleitungsabschnitte (11a bis e bzw. 12a bis e) miteinander verbunden sind.
Der Ventilkörper (29) jedes Ventiles (15a,15) trennt einen Versorgungsraum (33) des Ventiles, der ständig einerseits mit einem zuführenden Versorgungsleitungsteil und an­ dererseits mit der zugeordneten Kammer kommuniziert, von einem ständig mit der Steuerleitung kommunizierenden Steuerraum (32) des Ventiles. Nach dem Füllen der zuge­ hörigen Kammer (13) gibt der Ventilkörper (29) des Ven­ tiles eine Ventilöffnung (30) frei, wodurch Versorgungs­ luft zum jeweils nächsten Ventil (15) gelangen kann, um die zu diesem gehörige Kammer (13) aufzublasen.
