Definitions

  • a removable dental prosthesis specially a transverse link, a bridge or the like, is disclosed.
  • the prosthesis or bridge portion (10) and the anchoring portion (40) are movably secured to each other in such a way that they can be moved between a spaced position in which they can be removed from the mouth and an engagement osition in which they can be used for chewing.
  • Removable dentures in particular in the form of a transverse connection, a bridge or the like.
  • a prosthesis or bridge part (10) and an anchor (40) with brackets (43, 44) for engaging behind the teeth adjacent to the prosthesis or bridge part are relative to one another movable by the prosthesis or bridge part (10) and the anchor (40) between a distance position for removal from the mouth and an engagement position for chewing are movably attached to each other.

  • the invention particularly relates to one more Partial bridge ice dentures, comprising a back part with Aufgergermaschine, for resting on the adjacent teeth of the bridge part and a bridge anchor with brackets for engaging behind the teeth adjacent to the bridge part, the bridge part possibly being formed with projections extending into the undercut areas of adjacent teeth.
  • a multi-part bridge is known as a denture, in which the bridge is divided into a lincuelen part and a labial part, both parts have a common contact surface extending in the mesio-distal direction, and both parts are legibly attached to one another (G B6 06 621);
  • Such a bridge can be used without having to work on the adjacent (healthy) teeth. It is also possible to use a bridge of this type if the two adjacent healthy teeth have so-called undercut areas.
  • it has not become known how such bridges are to be used without there being a risk that the two parts which can be detached from one another will unintentionally come loose and there is a risk of swallowing.
  • a bridge of the aforementioned type has also become known (magazine "Neue Revue", spring 1987, page 94), in which the two-piece bridge consists of a so-called intermediate link (the replacement for the missing tooth) and a bracket part, which holds the two adjacent healthy teeth encompasses and is also provided with supports. Both parts are screwed together in the patient's mouth, and there is no later solubility.
  • the invention is concerned with the problem of designing a prosthesis of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that the patient himself can easily remove the prosthesis for cleaning and, on the other hand, by simple handles in the mouth in place.

  • the locking pin 23 gets into the opening of the hook 51, so that the two parts 10 and 40 assume their engagement position, this is the position in which the bridge knows its actual function.
  • the configuration of the Hakene 51 or its opening is such that the two parts 10 and 40 cannot be separated from one another by no chewing movement.
  • Such technical solutions are known (self-locking intervention).
  • the part of the bolt 50 protruding into the interior of the mouth assumes such a position in the engagement position that it cannot be subjected to any sweeter forces in the opening direction either. Only by reaching behind with the fingernail can the bolt 50 be pivoted counterclockwise when viewed in FIG. 2 , and the two parts 10 and 40 are broken back into the position shown in FIG. 2.
  • connection with a bridge can be used in a so-called transverse connection, which in the upper or lower jaw contains the various prosthetic elements in both jaw halves connects with each other.
  • transversal connections that are exceptionally good and which can be used even when the teeth adjacent to the prosthesis lift strongly diverging directions.
  • the divergence of the spaces underneath can be overcome by the relative mobility of the actual prosthesis element with respect to the anchor, in which the clamps or clamp arms are located.
