Definitions

  • the invention relates to a shelf made of laminated material, in particular sheet metal, with stiffeners consisting of folds on the underside of their boundary edges, in particular their longitudinal edges, the stiffeners having a profile cross section which is at least partially open over their profile height towards the inside, and additional laminated profile rails with at least in some areas suitable cross-sectional shape in the open profile cross section of the bevels on and / or fixable and fixable in the bevels, optionally also connectable to the shelf.
  • GB-A 912 661 already discloses a shelf made of laminated material, the longitudinal boundary edges of which each have hollow profile stiffeners formed from a plurality of folds, which have a profile cross section which is at least partially open towards the inside over their profile height.
  • Laminated profile rails are assigned to the stiffeners of the longitudinal boundary edges, the cross-sectional shape of which at least partially fits into the open profile cross section of the folds and which can also be fixed and fixed on and / or in the folds and, if necessary, additionally connected to the shelf.
  • EP-A 0 087 696 discloses a shelf made of laminated material, in particular sheet metal, which has a bevel on the underside of each of its boundary edges as a reinforcement.
  • the lower boundary edge of each fold is designed in the manner of a fold, that is to say formed by bending the layer material along a line (fold line) so that surface comes to lie on surface.
  • the stiffening profile which is also designed as a folded profile, must be integrated into the folded profile of the shelf.
  • the material thickness of the shelf rebate must always be matched exactly in advance to the material thickness of the stiffening profile rebate.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a shelf of the design specified in the preamble of claim 1, which in its technical design, in particular with regard to its dimensional stability, torsional rigidity and load capacity can be adapted to the respective application in an optimal manner without the shelf itself must be coordinated in advance with these conditions.
  • such a shelf is characterized in that the laminate profile rails have a material thickness which differs from the laminate material of the shelf - mainly greater - and are designed as open or semi-open profiles, each of which has a plurality of profile steps, beads and grooves running parallel to one another or have the like, at least the two outer longitudinal edges of which are designed or usable as support and / or fastening flanges.
  • This inventive concept of a shelf makes it possible to use laminated profile rails as stiffening profiles, which can be optimally adapted to the respective application in terms of their load-bearing capacity, dimensional stability and torsional rigidity, while the actual shelf not only receives a completely different material thickness, but also may even consist of another type of material.
  • the laminate profile rails consist of sheet metal profiles formed by folding.
  • laminated profile rails which are prefabricated, for example, by rolling or by extrusion.
  • the cross-sectional areas of the laminated profile rails which engage in the folds have at least two profile sections which can be placed at an angle to one another on the inner surfaces of the folds in order to obtain stable support and positional fixation there.
  • snap-lock couplings can also be provided for the laminated profile rails according to claim 4.
  • These snap-lock couplings can be formed according to claim 5 by locking tongues and tabs formed directly on the laminate profile rails and / or shelf bases and their bevels and associated engagement openings.
  • a further development feature according to the invention is further characterized according to claim 7 by laminated profile rails of identical cross-sectional shape with different material thickness.
  • the shelves can also have openings in their base area near the folds, in particular slots, with which corresponding openings of the laminate profile rails in the covering position can be brought, these breakthroughs together form locking interventions for holding tongues of shelf partitions or the like.
  • the shelves with their integrally connected stiffeners are first formed by folding the longitudinal and / or transverse edges of sheet metal blanks and that then to further increase stability with the stiffeners of the same additional laminate Profile rails are brought into holding engagement and / or connection, the profile shape and / or material thickness of the laminated profile rails being selected differently in accordance with the required or desirable increase in stability.
  • the shelf shown in FIG. 1 has several, namely at least four, identical shelf posts 1, which are provided at least on their inside with support and / or coupling elements 2 for the shelves 3.
  • the support and / or coupling elements 2 can consist, for example, of tongues which are punched out at a uniform distance from one another and in a grid-like manner.
  • perforated grids can also be provided in the shelf post 1, into which, if necessary, 3 angle rails serving as supports for the shelves can be hung.
  • each shelf 3 has stiffeners 4a and 4b on its longitudinal edges 3a and 3b, while it is provided with similar stiffeners 4c and 4d on its transverse edges.
  • stiffeners 4c and 4d on the transverse edges 3c and 3d of the shelves 3 can only consist of bends 5c and 5d, for example L-shaped or angularly profiled, produced directly on the sheet metal blanks for the shelves, the stiffeners 4a and 4b on the longitudinal edges 3a and 3b, in addition to such bevels 5a and 5b, supplemented by additional laminate profile rails 6.
  • the bevels 5a and 5b formed directly on the longitudinal edges 3a, 3d of the shelves 3 have either a L or angled shape according to FIG Profile cross-section open on the inside, ie they basically have a profile shape corresponding to the bevels 5c and 5d at the transverse edges 3c and 3d.
  • the additional laminate profile rails 6 are, as can be seen particularly clearly in FIGS. 3 to 8, designed so that they have a cross-sectional shape that at least in some areas matches the open profile cross section of the bevels 5a and 5b, which are on and / or in the bevels 5a and 5b are fixable and fixable and optionally also connectable to shelf 3.
  • the laminate profile rails 6 can have a material thickness that deviates from the laminate material of the shelf 3 and the bevels 5a and 5b, and that this can mainly have a greater material thickness. It is entirely possible to keep laminate profile rails 6 of the same cross-sectional shape but of different material thickness available, as can be seen in FIGS. 3 and 4, FIGS. 5 and 6 and FIGS. 7 and 8. Depending on requirements, laminated profile rails 6 of different material thickness can then be joined together with the shelves 3 in order to adapt them to different load capacities for different purposes.
  • laminated profile rails can also be kept available in many different cross-sectional shapes in order to enable the load-bearing capacity or the dimensional stability for the shelves 3 to be varied within wide limits.
  • the laminate profile rails 6 can consist of sheet metal profiles formed by folding. However, if necessary, they can also be manufactured from rolled profiles or extruded profiles.
  • the cross-sectional areas of the laminate profile rails engaging in the folds 5a and 5b of the shelves 3 have at least two profile sections 6a and 6b which can be placed at an angle to one another on the inner surfaces of the folds 5a and 5b, which may also be by spot welding and / or have riveting connected to the folds 5a and 5b.
  • the laminate profile rails 6 can also be provided with support flanges 6c, which lie against the underside of the shelves 3 and can optionally be connected to them by spot welding or riveting.
  • the laminate profile rails 6 can have many different cross-sectional shapes, predominantly graded and / or longitudinally beaded profile shapes, that is to say, open or semi-open profiles.
  • the shelves 3 in their base near the bevels 5a and 5b may have openings 7, in particular slots, with which corresponding openings 8 of the laminate profile rails 6 can be brought into cover position.
  • the openings 7 and 8 can be used together as locking interventions for retaining tongues by means of which, for example, shelf compartment partitions can be fixed between two shelves 3 spaced one above the other.
  • FIGS. 9 to 11 show a shelf 3, which the stiffeners 5a and 5b provided on the longitudinal edges have an approximately J-shaped cross-section instead of an L-shaped or angular-shaped cross-section.
  • the laminate profile rails 6 with adapted cross-sectional areas can be positively engaged by a tilting movement, as is shown by a comparison of FIGS. 9 and 10.
  • the laminate profile rails 6 are then finally fixed, for example, by attaching welding points to the support flange 6c of the laminate profile rails 6 bearing against the underside of the shelf 3.
  • step-shaped profile sections 6d of the laminate profile rails 6 engage positively in the cross-sections, approximately J-shaped bends 5a, 5b on the longitudinal edges 3a and 3b of the shelf 3, and thereby align the layers of the laminate.
  • FIGS. 9 to 11 An embodiment modified from FIGS. 9 to 11 for a shelf 3 and the associated laminate profile rails 6 can be seen from FIGS. 12 to 14 of the drawing.
  • the laminate profile rails 6 are fixed to the longitudinal edges 3a and 3b by means of special snap-in couplings 9 and 10 in the region of the folds 5a and 5b.
  • the bevels 5a and 5b are provided with an end leg 11 bent at an acute angle, with which latching tongues 12 of the laminated profile rails 6 come into holding engagement by spring action as soon as the laminated profile rails 6 move from the position according to FIG. 12 in the direction of the arrow to the position 13 are moved laterally.
  • tongues 13 punched out from the shelf 3 and bent downwards engage in slots 14, which are located on the laminate profile rails 6 below the support flange 6c.
  • the tongues 13 slide under the support flange 6c and engage behind its free longitudinal edge by means of a spring tab, as can easily be seen in FIGS. 13 and 14.
  • the laminate profile rails 6, as shown in FIGS. 9 and 10 or 12 and 13, can be varied in their profile shape as well, as is shown, for example, with reference to FIGS. 3 to 8.
  • Their material thickness can be chosen differently in accordance with different needs.
