Abstract

Bei einem Verfahren zur Nachbehandlung phosphatierter Metalloberflächen erfolgt die Behandlung mit einer Chrom-VI- und Chrom-III-Ionen enthaltenden Lösung durch kathodische Elektrolyse, wobei die Konzentration an Chrom-VI-Ionen auf einen Wert im Bereich von 0,05 bis l0 g/l und das Verhältnis von Chrom-III/Chrom-VI auf kleiner l,0 eingestellt ist. Anschließend wird lackiert.
Gemäß bevorzugter Ausgestaltung der Erfindung führt man die Behandlung mit einer Chrom-VI- und Chrom-III-Ionen enthaltenden Lösung durch, die zusätzlich kolloidale Kieselsäure und/oder Phosphationen und/oder wasserlösliches organisches Polymer enthält und auf einen pH-Wert im Bereich von l,5 bis 5,0 eingestellt ist.
Bei der kathodischen Elektrolyse wird zweckmäßigerweise eine Stromdichte von 0,0l bis 0,5 A/dm² und eine Behandlungsdauer von 2 bis l20 sec eingestellt, so daß ein Schichtgewicht von 4 bis l00 mg/m² (berechnet als Cr) resultiert. Die anschließende Lackierung wird besonders günstig als Elektrotauchlackierung ausgestaltet.
