Definitions
- the invention relates to a steam generator with a furnace for fossil fuels, which has a vertical gas passageway formed from pipes which are welded together in a gas-tight manner, at the lower end of which a funnel is also formed which is formed from pipes which are also gas-tightly welded to one another, the pipes of the gas passageway and the pipes of the funnel communicate with each other and flow through the work equipment from bottom to top and the pipes of the throttle cable run essentially vertically.
- the tubes of the funnel also run parallel to vertical planes.
- This steam generator is relatively simple in its construction and manufacture, especially in the case of large steam generator units, since on the one hand the pipes of the throttle cable without the vertical reinforcement Loads - especially the weight - and on the other hand the connection of the throttle cable to the funnel is very simple.
- a major disadvantage of this steam generator is, however, that the temperature of the working fluid emerging at the upper end of the pipes of the gas train is very different, since the differences in the heat supply in the funnel from the working medium are not compensated for during the flow through the pipes.
- the funnel tubes and the throttle cable tubes are wound helically. This does compensate for unevenness in the heat supply, because the working fluid in the pipes flows through practically all occurring heat areas.
- the disadvantage is that the design and manufacture are very complex because the helically wound tubes of the throttle cable are often not able to carry the weight load of the throttle cable and the funnel without reinforcement; the effort increases with the size of the steam generator.
- the tubes of the funnel are wound helically.
- the vertically-piped throttle cable retains all of the constructive and manufacturing advantages of the fully vertically-piped steam generator, while the helical-tube funnel - without having to accept a great deal of design effort - ensures that the temperature at which the working fluid enters the pipes of the throttle cable is evened over its circumference.
- the heat input in the funnel varies particularly strongly as a result of slagging.
- the heat distribution in the funnel also depends on the particular arrangement of the furnace, so that the resulting temperature distribution can only be controlled to a limited extent.
- the funnel is therefore of relatively great importance with regard to disturbances in the supply of heat.
- a temperature disturbance at the beginning of a pipe has the greatest impact on the average specific volume of the working fluid and thus on the loss of friction pressure.
- the fluctuations in the loss of frictional pressure are therefore smaller the higher the disturbance occurs geodetically.
- the disturbances in the funnel are largely neutralized in the steam generator according to the invention, only the disturbances occurring above the funnel can reduce the friction pressure affect lust.
- a further advantage arises from the fact that, because of the temperature uniformity at the inlet of the gas train pipes, throttling of the working medium in the colder pipes is only required to a small extent, so that the pressure and power losses of the steam generator according to the invention also remain small. Water normally flows in the area of the funnel, so that the friction pressure losses are only insignificantly greater than in the case of the corresponding vertically tube-shaped funnel.
- the vertical throttle cable 1 of a steam generator fired with coal dust consists of gas with one another via webs II tightly welded, vertical wall tubes l0, which form four identical walls l2, l3, l4 and l5.
- the funnel 2 is tightly connected to the lower end of the throttle cable 1 and also consists of tubes 20 welded to one another in gas-tight fashion via webs 2l.
- the funnel tubes 20 are wound in a helical shape and communicate on the working side with the wall tubes l0. Water (arrows l6) is fed into the funnel tubes 20 below and flows through them and then upwards through the wall tubes 10 until they exit. It evaporates while absorbing heat from the combustion of the coal dust.
- Each funnel tube 20 extends to a horizontal plane 17, indicated by dash-dotted lines in FIG. 1, which separates the lower end of the throttle cable 1 from the funnel. It opens with its upper end into a bifurcation element 3, from which three wall pipes 10 branch off (FIGS. 2 and 3).
- the funnel 2 alternately has two trapezoidal funnel walls l8a and l8b and two rectangular funnel walls l9a and l9b, the trapezoidal funnel walls l8a and l8b running parallel to one another and in alignment with the walls l2 and l4 of the throttle cable l, whereas the rectangular funnel walls l9a and l9b are arranged parallel to the two oblique edges of the trapezoidal funnel walls 188 and 188, respectively.
- the funnel tubes 20 have a larger diameter than the wall tubes l0, as a result of which the funnel walls l8a to l9b are suitable for receiving relatively large ash weights.
- the funnel tubes 20 with the wall tubes l0 enclose an angle ⁇ between 100 ° and 130 °, which is chosen as large as possible, whereby the length of each funnel tube is as long as possible, which in turn is a good distribution of Heat absorption favored for each funnel tube 20.
- the angle is limited by the thermodynamically and strength-related tube diameter and the web width downwards.
- the gas flue l '24 has vertical walls 22 which are formed by vertical tubes l0' and fins ll 'welded between them.
- the funnel 2 ' has at the bottom a horizontal outlet opening 23 with a long rectangular shape.
- the two short sides of the opening 23 are delimited by two vertical, flat funnel walls 24, each of which merges into an oblique, flat funnel wall 25 at its upper ends.
- the two long sides of the opening 23 are delimited by two oblique funnel walls 26.
- the funnel 2 ' consists of funnel tubes 20' which are welded together in a gas-tight manner via webs 2l ', the wall tubes 10' and the funnel tubes 20 'communicate with one another and water or steam flows through them from bottom to top.
- the level l7 separating the throttle cable 1 ′ from the funnel 2 ′ lies in the steam generator according to FIG. 4 at the highest point of the funnel walls 26.
- a manufacturing simplification of the steam generator according to Fig. 4 can be achieved in that in the lower region of the throttle cable 1 'e.g. three successive vertical walls 22 are transferred into a new, wider vertical wall by means of an inclined, flat intermediate wall (similar to the inclined, flat funnel wall 25), whereby the number of corners in the helically-drilled vertical part of the steam generator is reduced from 24 to 8.
- one of three different number of wall tubes can branch off from a funnel tube, e.g. one or five, and several funnel tubes can also open into a wall tube. It is also possible to use 3 collectors instead of the fork elements, into which both the wall tubes and the funnel tubes open and which are designed as mixing collectors.

Abstract
Description
