Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for leveling a rotatable weapon platform according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
- Such a device known from DE-A-3307069 is suitable for manual and automatic leveling of high-angle weapon systems, such as howitzers, fla. Cannons, mortars, etc.
- the device is able to withstand high loads on a base, for example, with high pipe heights to a vehicle standing on a slope under a tilt.
- a device is known from WO-A1-82 / 00218, which, however, has the purpose of aligning, for example, light antennas or telescopes on an upper platform.
- the level of this upper platform does not intersect with the individual bearing levels of two annular bodies which can be rotated to incline the platform, so that when a shot is fired at each bearing, not only the catch forces but also an additional moment is effective.
- the bearings also consist only of ball bearings with limited load capacity, so that this device is not suitable for transmitting the high radial and axial forces that occur with high-angle weapon systems.
- For aligning an antenna for example, a separately switchable motor and a planetary gear connected to the motor are provided for each ring-shaped body.
- the motor and the planetary gear are arranged centrally in the axial direction within the device, so that in this area within this device there is no free space necessary to accommodate a weapon platform.
- the use of this drive is not suitable for a weapon platform that can be leveled automatically or manually at short notice due to its considerable expenditure of time and control.
- the upper platform is furthermore disadvantageously connected to a lower housing base via a flexible membrane, as a result of which, due to the tubular and flexible membrane formation, slight rotational movements of the upper platform may occur, which could have a disruptive effect on a leveling process of a weapon platform.
- the object of the invention is to provide a device for leveling, which is not only suitable for high-speed weapon systems and ensures manual and automatic leveling, but also allows a high load capacity in all directions.
- the inclined planes applicable for the leveling process are formed by nested ring-like hollow bodies and the weapon platform is arranged in the radial inner region of the inner hollow body, it is advantageously possible to arrange the position of the axes of rotation of the leveling system and the weapon movement in such a way that they coexist with one another Cut the axes of rotation and the perpendicular planes of the hollow body bearings as well as the plane of the weapon platform and the shield pin axis of the barrel weapon at one point.
- the device can transmit large upward and rearward as well as downward forces.
- the device can therefore transmit high shot loads even at a low elevation under 45 and absorb high upward acceleration forces resulting from the inertia of the barrel weapon while the vehicle is traveling.
- a particularly simple leveling is made possible by integrating a reset gear within a leveling gear, as a result of which the position of the weapon platform in the circumferential direction remains unchanged by the reset gear during the rotational movements of the hollow bodies.
- the leveling mechanism is furthermore easy to operate and permits leveling of the weapon platform either in manual mode by actuating only one drive lever or in automatic mode by a servomotor.
- a device for leveling a weapon platform 7 consisting of two hollow bodies 4, 6 inserted into one another is mounted on a vehicle trough or a vehicle roof 2 serving as a stationary base.
- a cylindrical bore surface 3 of the first outer hollow body 4 and a cylindrical outer surface 5 of the second inner hollow body 6 enveloped by the bore surface 3 are arranged parallel to one another and form opposite a bearing surface 8 of the outer shell of the first hollow body 4 fastened in the vehicle trough or the vehicle roof 2 an inclined plane 1 inclined at an angle a.
- a bearing 12 fastened in the bearing surface 8 is fastened on the vehicle side in a bearing ring 51 which is preferably detachable from the vehicle trough or the vehicle roof 2.
- the bearing axis of rotation 17 Starting from the intersection 15 of the bearing axis of rotation 16 and the effective plane 9 of the bearing 12 running at right angles thereto, also running through the intersection 15 and forming an inclination angle a with the active plane 9, the bearing axis of rotation 17 one between the inclined planes 1 of the first and second hollow bodies 4, 6 attached storage 13 arranged.
- the maximum inclination of the active plane 10 of this bearing 13 with respect to the active plane 9 of the bearing 12 corresponds to an angle ⁇ or the angle difference 90 ° minus a, the angle ⁇ preferably being 5 °, at most 10 °.
- the active plane 11 of a bearing 14 which is fastened on the inside of the second inner hollow body 6 and the outer surface of the weapon platform 7, also runs through the intersection 15.
- the weapon platform 7 is arranged as parallel to the active plane 11 annular hollow disc formed so that the part of the bearing chamber 23 (FIG. 2) of the bearing 14 located in the second hollow body 6 forms horizontable surfaces for receiving the weapon platform 7.
- the bearing axis of rotation 18 also takes a congruent position with the bearing axis of rotation 16. In this position, the weapon platform 7 and the vehicle pan or the vehicle roof 2 are together in a horizontal position.
- the weapon platform 7 of a vehicle roof 2 standing and tilted according to FIG. 2 can be tilted after the pivot axis has been leveled 43 swivel them into a horizontal position.
- the active plane 11 of the bearing 14 of the weapon platform 7 assumes a horizontal position, the active plane 10 of the bearing 13 inclined at the angle of inclination ⁇ to the active planes 9 and 11 opposing the entire angle of inclination y of the the weapon platform 7 inclined vehicle roof 2 halved.
- the bearing axis of rotation 17 halves the angle y formed by the bearing axes of rotation 16 and 18.
- a further bearing 52 for the lateral alignment of a weapon receiving disc 45 is arranged in the active plane 11 within the weapon platform 7, the central region of which is shaped in such a way that a shield pin axis 49 mounted at the intersection 15 provides the largest possible swivel range of the weapon 50 between small tube increases of less than 45 ° and maximum tube increases guaranteed up to 85 °.
- the bearings 12, 13, 14, 52 contain known, preferably double-row, wire tapered roller bearings which are fastened in assemblable ring-like bearing chambers 21, 22, 23, 53 (FIG. 2).
- These storage chambers consist of rotations and rotations arranged symmetrically to the respective working planes 9, 10, 11, which on the outside of the hollow body 4 in the case of the bearing 12 in the working plane 9 and on the inside on the vehicle pan or vehicle roof 2, and in the working plane 13 on the bearing 13 10 on the inside on the bore surface 3 of the hollow body 4 and on the outside on the outer surface 5 of the hollow body 6, in the storage 14 in the active plane 11 on the outside on the hollow body 6 and on the inside on the weapon platform 7 and in the storage 52 also in the active plane 11 on the inside Weapon platform 7 and on the outside of the jacket of the weapon receiving plate 45 are arranged.
- the bearing ring 51 and the hollow bodies 4, 6, which are mounted one inside the other, and the weapon platform 7 each contain at least one ring gear 28, 31, 33, 42, 48 for leveling.
- a leveling gear 20 coupled to a reset gear 19 is positively connected to the toothed rings in such a way that the direction of the weapon platform 7 remains unchanged in the circumferential direction during the rotational movements of the hollow bodies 4, 6 required by the reset gear 19 for the leveling process.
- the drive shafts 24 of the leveling mechanism 20 in the hollow body 4 and the shaft 25 of the reset gear 19 are rotatably mounted within the hollow body 6.
- a gear 26 of the leveling mechanism is always in engagement with a gear 29 of the reset gear 19 via an intermediate gear 27 and the rotatably mounted gear ring 28, while a gear wheel 30 fixedly connected to the shaft 25 of the reset gear 19 is constantly connected to the gear ring arranged on the weapon platform 7 31 is in engagement and a further gear 32 located on the drive shaft 24 of the leveling gear 20 is constantly in engagement with the ring gear 33 firmly connected to the vehicle pan or vehicle roof 2.
- a rotatable coupling 34 is axially displaceably mounted on the drive shaft 24 and contains form-locking means 37 on both end faces 35, 36 for alternately coupling to a coupling disc 38 connected to the drive shaft 24 or to a coupling disc 39 connected to the hollow body 4.
- the clutch 34 contains in its peripheral region a gear 40 which is in constant engagement with the external ring gear 42 arranged on the hollow body 6 via an intermediate gear 41.
- the coupling 34 is in a position 44 connected to the coupling disc 39, whereby a common rotational position of the hollow bodies 4, 6 can be achieved.
- the clutch 34 is in a position connected to the clutch disc 38, so that at a speed-transmission ratio of the hollow body 4 to the hollow body 6 of 1: 2 simultaneous and uniform rotary movements of the hollow bodies 4, 6 in opposite directions of rotation are feasible.
- the speed-transmission ratio is determined on the one hand by the number of teeth of the ring gear 33 and the gear 32 and on the other hand by the number of teeth of the gear 40 and the outer ring 42.
- the speed-transmission ratio of the hollow body 4 to the weapon platform 7 is the same, but the direction of rotation is opposite, so that in order to achieve the unchanged circumferential direction of the weapon platform 7, with a hollow body 4 moving counterclockwise, the reset gear 19 simultaneously the weapon platform 7 relative to the hollow body 4 moved clockwise.
- the leveling mechanism 20 can be driven manually via a hand lever 54 or automatically via a servomotor 55. In both cases, the following operating procedures are necessary to level the weapon platform 7:
- the coupling 34 To establish a starting position, the coupling 34 must be moved down and the drive shaft 24 rotated until the movement is stopped by a stop 56 attached to the hollow body 6. In this position of the hollow bodies 4, 6, the working planes 9, 11 are in one plane. During this movement, the entire leveling device has rotated relative to the vehicle roof 2 due to the toothed wheel 32 engaging in the ring gear 33. However, the weapon platform 7 is simultaneously rotated back via the gear 27, the ring gear 28 and the reset gear 19 so that it does not change its circumferential direction.
- the coupling 34 To determine the pivot axis 43 of the weapon platform 7, the coupling 34 must be moved upwards. The drive shaft 24 is then to be rotated until a gas bubble from a position sensor, not shown, preferably a circular bubble, which can be attached at any point on the weapon platform 7 or on the receiving disk 45, has reached a maximum stop within the marking. During this rotary movement, the hollow bodies 4, 6 rotated together in the same direction, while the weapon platform 7 has retained its previous circumferential direction.
- a position sensor not shown, preferably a circular bubble
- the clutch 34 is to be moved down again until it is disengaged from the clutch disc 39 and engaged in the clutch disc 38.
- the hollow bodies 4, 6 are now moved simultaneously and uniformly, but in opposite directions of rotation, until the gas bubble in the circular level has assumed the central position.
- the weapon platform 7 pointing in the unchanged circumferential direction is pivoted about the already horizontal pivot axis 43 and also leveled.
- the receiving disc 45 and thus the barrel weapon 50 can now be laterally directed as desired in a horizontal position of the weapon platform 7 by means of a side directional drive 46 which is stationary connected to the receiving disc 45 via a gearwheel 47 and the ring gear 48 connected to the weapon platform 7.
- the return gear 19 are arranged at right angles to the active plane 11 of the bearing 14 and the leveling gear 20 perpendicular to the active plane 10 of the bearing 13, the lower gear 29 of the return gear 19 and the ring gear 28 as well as the gear 32 of the transmission 20 and the vehicle-mounted ring gear 33 a helical toothing inclined in accordance with the angle ⁇ .

Description
- Fig. 1 in einer Schnittdarstellung eine auf dem Dach eines horizontal stehenden Fahrzeuges gelagerte Einrichtung mit einer horizontierten Waffenplattform;
- Fig. 2 in einer Schnittdarstellung eine auf dem Dach eines in Hanglage stehenden Fahrzeuges gelagerte Einrichtung mit einer ebenfalls horizontierten Waffenplattform;
