Description

  • Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Ballspielschläger gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Anspruches 1.
  • Ein derartiger Ballspielschläger ist aus dem DE-U-70 14 518 bekannt. Zur Arretierung der Griffhülse ist dort an einer Seite zwischen Griffhülse und Schlägerschaft eine ovale Längsbohrung vorgesehen, deren Ellipsenlängsachse sich in der Trennebene von Griffhülse und Schaft erstreckt. In diese Bohrung ist ein im Querschnitt angepaßter, ovaler Stift einsteckbar. Durch Drehen des Stiftes um bis zu 90° kann die Griffhülse mit dem Schaft verkeilt werden. Der Griff kann auf diese Weise verkürzt werden und die Normallänge ist durch eine nicht näher beschriebene Markierung gekennzeichnet. Infolge der beim Spielen auftretenden harten Schläge und der dadurch ausgelösten Vibrationen ist eine allmähliche Verstellung der Griffhülse nicht auszuschließen. Dadurch wird die für einen Jugendlichen eingestellte kurze Grifflänge zur Normalgröße hin unmerkbar vergrößert, wodurch Überbeanspruchungen der Armgelenke und der Armmuskulatur auftreten können. Schließlich kann es auch vorkommen, daß sich die Griffhülse vollkommen vom Schaft löst, da die Endstellung nicht erkennbar ist. Dabei kann bei einem Schlag der Schläger aus der Griffhülse herausgeschleudert und es können andere Spieler oder sonstige Personen oder Sachen gefährdet bzw. beschädigt werden.
  • Demgegenüber liegt der Erfindung die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Ballspielschläger der gattungsgemäßen Art so auszugestalten, daß eine kontinuierliche Verstellung der Griffhülse mit einfachen Mitteln möglich ist und die Gefahr der ungewollten selbsttätigen Verstellung der Griffhülse auf dem Schaft oder das Lösen derselben vom Schaft sicher vermieden wird. Darüber hinaus soll die bewußte bzw. gewollte Verstellung der Griffhülse jederzeit kontrolliert werden können.
  • Diese Aufgabe wird durch die im Kennzeichen des Anspruches 1 angegebenen Merkmale gelöst.
  • Aus der DE-B-1 112 435 ist zwar bereits die Festlegung des Schaftes eines Ballspielschlägers, insbesondere Tennisschlägers, an der Griffhülse mittels einer Klemmschraube bekannt; dort wird aber die Schraube in die Bohrung eines mit einem Längsschlitz versehenen Schaftes eingeschraubt, wobei durch Auseinanderspreitzen des Schaftes ein Anpressen des Schaftes gegen die Innenwandung der Griffhülse bewirkt wird. Eine kontinuierliche Verstellung der Griffhülse ist dadurch nicht möglich.
  • Die Erfindung bietet insbesondere den Vorteil, daß jeder Spieler einen Ballspielschläger; insbesondere Tennisschläger, von Normalgröße an seine Spielweise, Spieltechnik usw. individuell anpassen kann. Die Einprägung und/oder der Aufdruck dienen hierbei als Einstellmarkierung für die Grifflänge. Durch die Anordnung der Einprägung und/oder des Aufdrucks im Verstellbereich der Endkante der Griffhülse müssen keine besonderen Sichtfenster in der Griffhülse vorgesehen werden.
  • Weitere vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen der Erfindung sind in den Unteransprüchen angegeben.
  • Die Erfindung wird anhand der in der Zeichnung veranschaulichten Ausführungs beispiele beschrieben. Dabei zeigen:
    • Figur 1 einen Griff eines erfindungsgemäßen Ballschlägers von oben gesehen, teilweise im Schnitt,
    • Figur 2 eine keilförmige Einprägung auf dem Schaft und
    • Figur 3 eine gegensinnig-doppelkeilförmige Einprägung auf dem Schaft.
  • Mit 1 ist ein an einem nicht dargestellten, die Bespannungsfläche umgebenden Rahmen anschließender Schaft eines Ballspielschlägers, insbesondere Tennisschläger, bezeichnet. Auf dessen Endbereich 2 ist eine Griffhülse 3 längsverschiebbar geführt. Sie ist durch eine Einstellschraube 4 in ihrer Position veränderbar und einstellbar. Dies geschieht durch eine Nut-Feder-Verbindung zwischen Einstellschraube 4 und Griffhülse 3 und eine Gewindeführung der Einstellschraube 4 in einer Gewindebohrung 5 im Ende des Schaftes 1. Die Nut-Feder-Verbindung ist hierbei durch eine umlaufende Nut 5 im Kopf 7 der Einstellschraube 4 und eine oder mehrere, beispielsweise in eine Vertiefung 8 der Griffhülsenstirnseite 9 einsetzbare Federteile 10 hergestellt. Die Federn können dabei als einzelne Zähne oder Wandflächen ausgebildet sein. Durch diese Maßnahme ist die Einstellschraube 4 in der Griffhülse 3 drehbar, jedoch axial und radial unverschiebbar gelagert. Durch Ein- oder Ausschrauben der Einstellschraube 4 in die Gewindebohrung 5 kann die Griffhülse 3 gegenüber dem Schaft 1 längsverschoben und damit die Grifflänge des Schlägers verstellt werden.
  • Auf dem Schaft 1 ist zumindest im Verstellbereich 11 der vorderen Endkante 12 der Griffhülse 3 eine Einprägung 13 vorgesehen, die durch die Griffhülse 3 je nach Einstellposition derselben mehr oder weniger überdeckt ist. Vorteilhafterweise sind Querstege 14 vorgesehen, um eine leichtere Übersicht über die eingestellte Position der Griffhülse 3 zu erhalten. Der Abstand der Querstege 14 voneinander beträgt zweckmäßig zwischen 1 mm und 5mm und die Länge der Querstege 14 kann gegebenenfalls zusätzlich, wie in Fig. 1 dargestellt, nach einer Seite hin abnehmen. Anstelle der Einprägung 13 oder zusätzlich zu dieser kann auch ein Aufdruck angebracht sein.
  • Aufdrucke und/oder Einprägungen können zweckmäßig zur Markierung der Balance, d.h. der Gewichtsverteilung bzw. der Verlagerung des Schwerpunkts des Schlägers, also als Balance-oder Gewichtssymbole, beispielsweise von vorn nach hinten mit L, LM und M für "low", "low/ medium" und "medium", gegebenenfalls zusätzlich zu den vorgenannten Aufdrucken und/oder Einprägungen, vorgesehen sein. Ein Aufdruck in einer Einprägung hat dabei den Vorteil, daß er nicht so leicht abgenutzt wird.
  • Die Einprägung 13 und/oder der Aufdruck kann beispielsweise rechteckig oder quadratisch oder, wie in Fig. 2 dargestellt, Keil- oder Pfeilform aufweisen oder er kann gemäß Fig. 3 DoppelKeilform aufweisen, wobei die beiden Keile 15 und 16 vorzugsweise gegenläufig angebracht sind. Vorteilhaft sind die beiden gegenläufigen Keile 15, 16 unterschiedlich geprägt, beispielsweise der eine Keil 15 mit einer Quer-und der andere Keil 16 mit einer Längsrippung und/oder es kann ein andersfarbiger Aufdruck vorgesehen sein. Die Einprägung 13 kann auch eingebrannt sein, beispielsweise in Form eines Brandzeichens.
  • Auch wenn das Hauptanwendungsgebiet der Erfindung Tennisschläger betrifft, so kann diese mit Vorteil auch bei anderen Arten von Ballschlägern, wie Squash-Schlägern, Federball-Schlägern usw. eingesetzt werden.

Claims (7)

1. Ballspielschläger, insbesondere Tennisschläger, mit einer Griffhülse (3), die auf dem Schlägerschaft (1) längsverschiebbar und in beliebiger Position festlegbar ist, wobei eine Markierung für mindestens eine Position vorgesehen ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Längsverschiebung und Festlegung der Griffhülse (3) mittels einer zwischen Griffhülse (3) und Schlägerschaft (1) wirksamen Einstellschraube (4) erfolgt und daß die Markierung sich zumindest über den Verstellbereich (11) der vorderen Endkante (12) der Griffhülse (3) erstreckt und als Einprägung (13) und/oder Aufdruck auf dem Schlägerschaft (1) angebracht ist.
2. Ballspielschläger nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Einprägung (15) und/oder der Aufdruck im gleichen Abstand von 1 mm bis 5 mm voneinander angeordnete querstege (14) aufweisen.
5. Ballspielschläger nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Einprägung (15) und/oder der Aufdruck Rechteckform aufweisen.
4. Ballspielschläger nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Einprägung (15) Keilform aufweist.
5. Ballspielschläger nach Anspruch 1, 2 oder 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Einprägung (13) eine gegenläufige Doppelkeilform aufweist.
6. Ballspielschläger nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der eine Keil (15) gegenüber dem anderen, gegenläufigen Keil (15) andersartig geprägt und/oder bedruckt ist.
7. Ballspielschläger nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der eine Keil (15) gegenüber dem anderen, gegenläufigen Keil (15) in einer anderen Farbe gehalten ist.
