Definitions

  • the invention relates to a roller shutter with a curtain made of horizontal slats, which can be moved at their front edges in vertical guide rails between an upper end position and a lower end position, the slats being pivotally suspended from a predetermined upper slat on traction members and with coupling members to form a slat swivel assembly of several parallel and simultaneously pivotable slats are connected, wherein at least one control jaw with a vertical flow channel and a movable control section is arranged in the guide rails, the control section in the flow channel has an engagement position in which a control element arranged on the slat swivel joint engages with the control section and the Slat swiveling controls from its vertical position to a swivel position.
  • Such a roller shutter is known from DE-B-1 266 475, in which the control jaw is divided into a downward track inside the guide rail and an upward track outside the guide rail.
  • a fixed control section protrudes with its free end obliquely downward into the downward lane and, when the curtain moves upward, forms a compulsory switch for the control element arranged on the lamella swivel joint, which is always diverted by the upward lane lying outside when the upward movement begins below the control section.
  • a further, movable control section is arranged in the upward track, which - when moving upward - is moved by the control element of the slat swivel assembly, to then return to its rest position and, by lowering the curtain again, allows the slat swivel assembly to pass into its swivel position.
  • a disadvantage of this known roller shutter is that the control element is forced to change from the downward track to the upward track under the action of rigid or spring-loaded control sections. As a result of this forced deflection, there is a risk of incorrect control or tilting of the control elements arranged on the lamella swivel joint at the inlet into the upward lane, and the forced deflection also creates undesirable noises.
  • a roller shutter is also known from DE-B-1 260 113, in which a lamella swivel assembly is guided as a roller shutter when moving downward and is forced into a pivoting position when moving upward, ie. H. a blind position changes.
  • Control jaws are placed on the guide rails, which contain only a rigid downward and outward control section, which is closed by means of a locking bolt when the curtain moves downward for the control elements sitting on the lamella swivel joint and is opened for the control elements when it moves upward, so that the control elements are opened after lowering the curtain shortly before, run into this control section and guide the slat swivel assembly into the swivel position.
  • the object of the invention is to develop a roller shutter of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that the optional control of the slat swivel assembly in the vertical position (roller shutter position) or the swivel position (blind position) can be carried out reliably in a simple manner.
  • control section can be moved from its engagement position into a disengaged position, which lies outside the vertical through-channel, by means of mechanical or electrical actuating devices.
  • control section is designed as a movable, adjustable switch which - in the disengaged position - releases the movement path of the control element arranged on the slat swivel assembly, so that the curtain is then lowered - unhindered by the control section - with the slat swivel assembly set vertically and can be pulled up.
  • the downward track and the upward track of the control element arranged on the lamella swivel joint are identical, and there is no need for the control element to be deflected when the curtain moves upward, which simplifies the sequence of movements and reduces the generation of noise. Control errors are reliably avoided.
  • the control section is arranged pivotably and consists of a leaf spring articulated at one end.
  • the actuating devices which move the control section from the engaged position into the disengaged position, contain a pivoting cam which is pivotably arranged on the control jaw and which, in a first or second stable position, pivots the control section into the disengaged position or the engaged position.
  • the actuating devices also contain, at a predetermined distance below and above the control element located on the lamella swivel joint, a respective actuating cam which pivots the control section by means of the pivot cam during a downward movement into the disengaged position and with an upward movement into the engaged position.
  • the curtain - with a vertically positioned slat swivel joint - can be rolled freely as a roller blind move downwards because the control section has been cleared away from the path of movement beforehand by the leading control cams.
  • the upper control cam which is then leading places the control section in the engaged position; the control element of the lamella swivel assembly which then moves past the control section only pushes the resilient control section to the side for a short time during its passage, leaving the control section otherwise in the engaged position, so that the control element is then steered into the swivel position along the control section in the event of a subsequent lowering.
  • the actuating devices particularly preferably contain an electric drive with which the movable control section can optionally be switched back and forth by the user between the engaged position and the disengaged position.
  • the user by means of an electrical control - z. B. before a vertical movement of the curtain, the control sections either in the rest position (roller shutter function) or in the engaged position (blind function).
  • the curtain is then lowered electrically or by hand.
  • the control element then either runs unaffected (roller shutter function) or swung out of the control sections in the horizontal direction into the swivel position (blind function).
  • one control element, z. B. in the form of a pin, and there is a control jaw for each control element in the two lateral guide rails at the same height for simultaneous deflection of the two control elements.
  • the attachment of two opposing control pins is particularly useful in the case of large widths of the slats in order to prevent torsion of the pivotable slats and the undesired inclined position of the slats over the width of the curtain which is caused thereby.
  • the lamellae are preferably articulated in their upper longitudinal edge to the tension members and particularly preferably have guide pins in extension of their upper longitudinal edge, which run in the guide slots of the guide rails by means of bearing bushes and the tension members.
  • the coupling elements like the traction elements, preferably consist of textile or plastic bands or cords, of metal bands or strands and connect the pivotable slats at the lower free longitudinal edges.
  • the control pins are at a predetermined distance from the pivot axis, to which they preferably run parallel and have a greater length than the guide pins.
  • the coupling elements consist of flexible material, e.g. B. metal or plastic cords. If a pair of control pins then comes into engagement with the control sections of the respective pair of control jaws, the part of the swivel assembly located under the control pin lamella can be steered into the swivel position, while the part of the swivel assembly above it remains in the vertical position. In this way, it is possible to implement the blind function even with a curtain that is only partially lowered, while the part of the curtain located on the horizontal upper winding roller remains unaffected.
  • electrical contact elements can also be attached below and above the control element on the front sides of the swivel assembly, which pass by contacting a mating contact on the control jaw and move the pivotable first control section electrically driven into the desired position by the contact signal signals generated.
  • a pulling element 20 is arranged vertically on the end faces of the curtain, on which the slats 4 are suspended at a predetermined distance in such a way that there is a predetermined space between adjacent slats, which is covered from the outside by lower overlap edges 8 in that the overlap edges 8 rest on the outer surface of the next lower slat 4.
  • an angle lever is attached, one leg 24 parallel to the end face of the slats 4, and the other leg parallel runs to the guide pin 16 and is designed as a pin 25. All pins 25 are connected in an articulated manner to a coupling member 28, and the slats 4 coupled to one another in this way together form a slat swivel joint 5.
  • the upper pin 25 of the angle lever 24 is extended outwards parallel to the guide pin 16 and is designed as a control element 26.
  • the slats 4 have a hollow profile which is formed at the lower end as a groove profile 12, at the upper end as a spring profile 10 with the upper longitudinal edge 6.
  • a wall of the guide rail concerned engages between the front end 9 of the slats 4 and the angle lever 24, 25, covers the angle lever 24, 25 and the coupling member 28 and has a guide gap 52 in which the bearing bush 22 and the tension member 20 are guided, see. also Fig. 3rd
  • a control jaw 40 is arranged in a stationary manner at a predetermined height within the guide rail (not shown) and has a control cam which contains a control section 44 and which cooperates with the control element 26.
  • the two lateral guide rails each have a control jaw 40 opposite each other at the same height, and the uppermost lamella 4 of the lamella swivel assembly 5 carries a control element 26 on each end at the same height.
  • FIGS. 2 and 3 show the first embodiment of the lateral guiding and control elements of the roller shutter in a side view.
  • a control jaw 40 with a control section 44 is arranged stationary at a predetermined height.
  • the control section 44 consists of a leaf spring, the lower end of which is articulated directly above a return channel 48 of the control jaw 40, and the upper end of which lies in a first position, the so-called engagement position, above the upper entrance of the flow channel 42.
  • the free upper end can be pivoted against its own spring action into a second position, which releases the entrance of the flow channel 42 and is referred to as the disengaged position.
  • a pivot cam 60 is provided on the control jaw 40 and acts against the free upper end of the control section 44. In a first stable position, the pivot cam 60 pivots the free upper end of the control section 44 into its engagement position, in which the entrance of the flow channel 42 is closed. The pivot cam 60 can be pivoted into a second stable position in which the free upper end of the control section 44 merges into the disengaged position in which the flow channel 42 is open at the top.
  • a control cam 62 is provided on the end face of the slat swivel joint 5 below and above each pin-shaped control element 26.
  • the lower actuating cam 62 pivots the pivot cam 60 into the stable disengaged position, so that the control element 26 can run freely through the open flow channel 42 and does not interact with the control section 44.
  • the upper actuating cam 62 pivots the pivoting cam 60 into its engagement position, in which the control section 44 closes the flow channel 42 at the top.
  • the flow channel 42 opens only when the control element 26 is moved past and is closed again after the control element has passed through. If the curtain is then moved downward again, the control element 26 comes into engagement with the control section 44 and slides downward along the outwardly inclined control section 44 and thereby controls the slat swivel assembly 5 into the swivel position (blind function).
  • the control element 26 is guided upwards into the return channel 48 and from there into the continuous channel 42, whereby the slats pivot back into the curtain plane.
  • Fig. 4 shows a further embodiment of the control jaw 40, in which the control section 44 optionally - z. B. mechanically or by means of an electric drive - from a disengaged position outside the flow channel 42 of the lamella swivel assembly 5 into an engagement position in the flow channel 42 of the lamella swivel assembly 5 is movable.
  • the control section 44 is z. B. attached to a shaft 89 of a servomotor (not shown). If desired, a suitably designed insertion channel can be provided in front of the control section 44.
  • the curtain can be controlled in all of its positions by means of only one actuator, two actuators are required in the present embodiment: with a first actuator the vertical upward and downward movement and with a second actuator the position of the control sections 44 - and thus the function of the curtain - preselected and realized.
  • the user can e.g. B. by electrical control means control the control section 44 either in the disengaged position or in the engaged position. If the control section 44 is in the disengaged position, the vertical movement of the control element 26 - and thus of the lamella swivel assembly 5 - is not disturbed by the control section. The slats of the slat swivel assembly 5 remain vertical, that is to say in the roller shutter function, the curtain can be moved up or down as desired. On the other hand, if the control section 44 is in the engagement position, which is shown in broken lines in FIG.
  • a control element 26 coming from above slides on the control section 44 together with the swivel assembly 5 into the swivel position (blind function). If necessary, electrical or mechanical elements can be provided that ensure that movement of the control section 44 is prevented as long as the control element rests on the control section 44 in the pivoted position.
  • Fig. 5 shows part of a lamella swivel assembly 5, in which the tension member 20 and the coupling member 28 consist of a plastic cord of high tensile strength.
  • 20 bushings 22 made of plastic are injection molded along the pulling element, in which the guide pins 16 of the pivotable slats 4 are rotatably mounted.
  • the bearing bushes have locking lips on the outer end, which engage in a corresponding locking groove on the free end of the guide pin.
  • locking is also possible using snap rings 0 or the like.
  • the distance between two bearing bushes is dimensioned such that the pivotable slats 4 mounted therein hang freely from one another and can carry out a pivoting movement undisturbed.
  • the tension members 20 are relieved and the lamellae are seated on one another, the distance between adjacent bearing bushes 22 is shortened accordingly.
  • the traction element shown can also consist of a wire strand or the like.
  • the end lamella 15 is arranged in a rotationally secure manner.
