Definitions
- the invention relates to a shoe, in particular a sports shoe, with an elastic sole, at least one chamber in the sole and a spring part made of elastomer-elastic material arranged in the chamber.
- Sports shoes with a resilient sole are known, for example from DE-A 2816619.
- the resilient properties of the sole, particularly in the heel area, are intended to absorb vibrations and strong shock loads on the heel bone and Achilles tendon and to protect the joints.
- the sole of the well-known sports shoe includes a profiled outsole, which is glued to the shoe upper via an insole.
- the heel jump is formed by a wedge-shaped tapered intermediate layer made of elastomer-elastic foam material.
- the intermediate layer is exposed to the sides of the shoe and is provided with breathing openings through which the air contained therein can escape when the intermediate layer is resiliently stressed. The spring and damping properties of the elastic intermediate layer cannot be adjusted.
- a jump shoe is known from CH-A 585 531, the upper part of which is supported on an outsole of the shoe by means of several vertically resilient helical compression springs.
- the helical compression springs are located in telescopic tube bushings, the maximum stroke of which can be limited by a screw-nut connection. The jump distance is to be increased by the energy stored in the helical compression springs when it occurs.
- a sports shoe is known from DE-A 2460034, in the total sole of which air chambers are contained which are connected to one another via throttle openings.
- this construction does not support the foot in the right place, namely in the area of the heel bone.
- the introduction of air and the adjustment to the required pressure is problematic in this construction.
- the object of the present invention is to improve a shoe, in particular a sports shoe, the elastic sole of which contains a spring part made of elastomer-elastic material in a simple manner so that the shoe suspension and shoe cushioning can be easily matched to the weight of the wearer and the hardness of the track.
- this object is achieved in that at least one tie rod running essentially in a parallel plane to the sole is arranged in the chamber, which clamps the spring part between two abutments, that the spring part is slidably arranged in the chamber and that the tie rod is one that can be handled from the outside Adjustment device carries, which allows a change in distance of the abutment.
- the elastomer-elastic spring part can be preloaded variably, whereby the shoe suspension can be adjusted to the weight of the user and the track hardness.
- the setting can be made very sensitively, especially if the spring part is infinitely adjustable.
- the spring part itself is either designed as a one-piece elastomer-elastic spring element or consists of several such spring elements which are arranged next to one another in the longitudinal direction of the sole.
- elastomer-elastic should be understood to mean rubber-elastic, but without the spring part having to be made of rubber. It may as well consist of plastic or other elastic materials.
- the spring part or the spring elements can either consist of a foamed or solid, elastic material.
- the spring elements are advantageously provided with foamed or molded cavities.
- the damping properties can be influenced by suitable dimensioning of the cavities or selection of the elastomer material or the friction properties between the elastomer-elastic spring elements with one another and with the surrounding sole surfaces. In the case of foamed spring elements, these are preferably provided with a closed outer skin, which not only protects the surface against wear, but at the same time achieves a certain additional resilient or damping effect of the enclosed gas.
- the spring part is arranged so that it can slide in the assigned chamber of the sole. In this way, the contraction of the spring part, which changes when the tension is set, does not lead to a deformation of the sole and thus to an adverse change in the wearing properties of the shoe.
- the tie rod preferably runs in the longitudinal direction of the sole.
- the tie rod is formed by a flexible component or consists of a cable.
- chambers for elastomer-elastic spring parts can be arranged between the outsole and the insole.
- a central web formed by the chambers can run either in the longitudinal direction or in the transverse direction of the shoe. If the web runs in the longitudinal direction, the possibility is created to compensate for foot errors by different spring hardness of the spring parts of the chambers.
- the web separating the chambers is arranged in the region of the heel bone and itself is designed as a spring element and is penetrated by the tie rod and forms an abutment for the elastomer-elastic spring elements.
- the spring elements can be of different hardness in order to achieve a particularly favorable basic setting adapted to the anatomy of the foot.
- the chambers of the spring parts can have boundary surfaces which form an acute angle for the elastomer-elastic spring elements. This also results in a change in the spring rate, which has a progressive or degressive character depending on the direction of taper.
- material with favorable sliding properties is arranged in the area of the boundary surfaces of the chambers.
- This can be formed, for example, by a sliding film or by a powdered lubricant such as talc.
- a particularly favorable design of the sports shoe is obtained by combining the spring part with the chambers and the adjusting device to form one structural unit.
- This unit forms part of the insole, which is interchangeably connected to the shoe.
- a replaceable connection of this structural unit with the shoe is a button connection known from plastic parts, with a cover sole then being able to be attached to the entire surface of the insole or in the area of the button connection.
- the tie rod is connected to an adjustment key which is adapted to the sole contour in the rest position and which, according to the invention, is displaceable in the adjustment position for adjusting the spring preload.
- a lock for the setting key is provided both in the rest position and in the setting position.
- the spring part is connected to a marking, the position of which relative to the sole is a measure of the pretensioning of the spring part.
- the sole has a window through which the marking is visible.
- the amount of the preload of the spring part is visibly displayed from the outside, so that the preload of both shoes can be adjusted evenly.
- the window can be formed by a transparent or transparent insert in the tread of the sole. In the case of transparent sole material, a reduction in the sole thickness in the area of the window is often sufficient in order to be able to recognize the setting of the spring part sufficiently clearly.
- this overall sole consists of a profiled outsole 1 and an inner sole 2 and is wedge-shaped in accordance with the shape of the foot.
- This wedge which is essentially formed by the insole 2 is recessed in the area of the heel in such a way that two chambers 7 are formed, in which a multi-part spring part 4 is arranged. These two chambers 7 are separated by a longitudinal web 8.
- the spring part 4 comprises two units consisting of elastomer spring elements 5, tie rods 6, pressure plates 13 and nuts 20. Before the profiled outsole 1 is glued or vulcanized onto the insole 2, one brings here the spring part 4 in the chambers 7.
- the elastomer spring elements 5 are arranged between two pressure disks 13 in each chamber 7.
- the tie rod 6 passes through these parts and is supported on both sides in the insole 2 in a front bearing 9 and a rear bearing 10.
- the tie rod 6 is provided at its shoe inner end with a thread 21, in which the nut 20, which is connected non-rotatably to the pressure disk 13, engages.
- the pressure plates 13 are preferably positively connected to the adjacent elastomer spring elements 5, for example by protrusions on the pressure plate 13 engaging in corresponding recesses in the spring elements 5.
- each tie rod 6 protrudes with its adjusting head 11 and thus lies against a support bearing 12.
- the chambers 7 accommodating the spring part 4 are closed and the prestressing of the spring elements 5 can be done via the two adjusting heads 11 the tie rod 6 can be continuously adjusted separately.
- the adjustment heads 11 are provided with corresponding surfaces for an adjustment tool.
- the spring elements 5 are supported on the pressure plate 13 on the left in the figure and the nut 20 on the tie rod 6, this force being absorbed by the support bearing 12.
- the other side of the spring elements 5 is supported by the pressure plate be 13 on the abutment 3 formed by the chamber 7.
- the spring tension of the spring elements 5 can be changed by turning the adjusting head 11 firmly connected to the tie rod 6, about 40 revolutions of the adjusting head 11 being required between the lowest and the highest spring rate.
- This rotary movement of the tie rod 6 causes, via the thread 21 and the nut 20, an axial displacement of the thrust washer 13 and thus a change in the spring rate for the spring elements 5. Due to the separate adjustment option of the two spring units arranged in the chambers 7, a different spring hardness on the inside - And the outside of the shoe can be reached, whereby foot errors can be compensated.
- the spring part 4 is constructed from spring elements 5, it is readily possible to use different spring elements 5 with regard to the spring hardness. Adapting the spring properties to the weight of the person using the shoe is easily possible in this way.
- the arrangement of the spring part 4 directly in the area of the heel bone is particularly favorable.
- the tie rods 6 can for example be made of glass fiber reinforced plastic material in this embodiment or consist of another resilient material. It is also conceivable to replace these tie rods with a cable pull.
- the recesses arranged in the wedge-shaped section of the insole 2 form a front chamber 14 and a rear chamber 15 for the spring part 4. Between these chambers 14 and 15 there is a crosspiece 16, which itself is designed as a spring element and is penetrated by the tie rod 6. In addition, this crosspiece 16 acts as an abutment 3 for the spring elements 5 abutting the crosspiece 16.
- These spring elements 5 differ from those shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 essentially in that they have special cavities inside which are filled with gas.
- the tie rod 6 also differs from the one already described, since it carries a further threaded section 22 with a left-hand thread in addition to the threaded section 21 provided with a right-handed thread.
- a bushing is provided as the front bearing 9, while the rear pivot bearing is formed by an adjusting key 17 which can be moved axially on the tie rod.
- the adjusting key 17 is non-rotatably connected to the tie rod 6 in that the tie rod 6 has a square at this end, for example, and the adjusting key has a corresponding inner square. 3, 4 and 5, the adjustment key 17 is shown in the rest position, the collar of the adjustment key 17 engaging in a lock 18. To change the spring rate, the adjusting key 17 is pulled out of this position and then engages with the collar in a lock 19. Now the spring rate of the spring elements 5 can be changed by turning the adjusting key 17 and thus the tie rod 6.
- a clockwise rotation is carried out, the thrust washers 13 connected to the adjacent spring elements 5 and the nuts 20 being axially displaced.
- the movement of the right and left thrust washer is in opposite directions, since the thread 21 is a right-hand thread and the thread 22 is a left-hand thread.
- Appropriate stops for the axially movable parts are arranged on the tie rod 6 for the hardest and softest setting of the spring rate.
- the bearing 9 serves the softest setting as a stop, while the threaded end forms the stop for the hardest setting.
- the profiled outsole 1 is only glued to the underside of the insole 2 after the spring part has been installed in the insole 2. It is readily possible to connect the structural unit consisting of the spring part 4, the chambers 14 and 15 and the adjusting device to the shoe in an interchangeable manner. For this purpose, this structural unit is connected, for example by buttoning, to the inner sole 2 and a corresponding cover sole is attached over the connection point or over the entire sole area.
- the boundary surfaces of the chambers 7 corresponding to FIGS. 1 and 2 or the chambers 14 and 15 according to FIGS. 3 and 4 can run parallel to one another or also at an acute angle to one another in order to additionally achieve a progressive or degressive change in the spring rate.
- the embodiment according to FIGS. 3 and 4 also allows a very sensitive, stepless adjustment of the spring rate, which is possible about 40 turns of the key in order to move from the hardest to the softest setting.
- the spring force changes of the individual chambers can also be varied by a corresponding pitch of the threads 21 and 22.
- the spring part is preferably arranged in the wedge of the insole 2 in such a way that the support is provided in the area of the center of the heel.
- the pressure plates 13 on both sides have a small height in relation to the spring elements 15, approximately one third of the height of these elements 5.
- elastomer spring elements of uniform design are used.
- the embodiment shown in FIGS. 6, 7 and 8 is an outsole in which the setting or pretensioning of the spring element arranged between the outsole and the insole is visible from the outside.
- the outsole 1 has a window 25 which is formed by a transparent or translucent insert or, in the case of a somewhat translucent outsole, by a section of thinner sole thickness.
- the elastomeric or rubber-elastic spring element 27 that can be preloaded by the tie rod 6 is formed in one piece and is provided with cavities and depressions on the surface, which improve the elasticity and damping properties.
- the spring element 27 is supported in the heel area on a curved thrust washer 28 which is adapted to the rear outsole contour.
- the thrust washer 28 is in turn rotatably supported on the tie rod 6 in a manner not shown.
- the thrust washer 28 can be arranged very close to the heel end of the sole, which creates space for the spring element 27 in the heel area.
- the front thrust washer 29 screwed onto a thread of the pull rod 6 moves in the direction of the rear thrust washer 28, whereby a compensating body 26, which is preferably made of a foam, can expand accordingly and thus no cavity is created in the area of the thrust washer 29.
- the side of the compensating body 26 opposite the pressure plate 29 is supported on a third pressure plate bent opposite to the pressure plate 28, which in turn is rotatably supported on the pull rod 6. None of the three thrust washers are thus supported on the adjacent surfaces of the sole chamber, so that the sole is not exposed to any stress.
- the compensating body 26 and the spring element 27 have strikingly different colors.
- the compensating body 26 white or yellow and the spring element 27 colored black or red.
- the elements 26 and / or 27 can also be designed to be fluorescent, as a result of which a signal effect serving the safety of the runner is achieved in the dark.
- the essence of the outsole shown in FIGS. 2 to 8 consists in the transparent or translucent window, which enables a visible display of the prestress of the spring element 27. A comparison of the two shoes thus enables a uniform setting of the spring element preload of both shoes.
- the window 25 can be of any shape and formed by an insert or a translucent portion of the outsole.
- a triangular window is shown in FIG. 6, which widens in the direction of greater pretension. 6a shows a diamond-shaped window 25a. While the triangular or wedge-shaped window makes it easier to assess the size of the spring preload, the diamond-shaped window allows an easier comparison of the preload of the two shoes, since the center of the diamond visually highlights a medium setting.

Description
- Fig. die Sohle eines Sportschuhes gemäss der Erfindung im Längsschnitt;
- Fig. 2 die in Fig. 1 gezeigte Sohle in der Draufsicht;

- Fig. 5 die Rückansicht der Sohle nach den Fig. 3 und 4;
- Fig. zeigt eine Unteransicht einer weiteren Ausführungsform der Sohle eines Sportschuhs mit einem Fenster zur Anzeige der Federvorspannung;
- Fig. 6a eine alternativ bei der Sohle nach Fig. 6 verwendbare Fensterform;
Fig. 6a zeigt ein rautenförmiges Fenster 25a.
