Abstract

В настоящем документе раскрыты средства обнаружения и определения характеристик нейротоксинов, таких как ботулинический нейротоксин (BoNT) или столбнячный нейротоксин. В настоящем документе предложены способы определения силы и активности нейротоксинов in vitro и in vivo. Также раскрыты полипептиды, содержащие N- и C-концевые фрагменты репортерного белка, разделенные линкером, содержащим участок расщепления нейротоксином. Расщепление линкера нейротоксином снижает активность репортерного белка, тем самым указывая на активность нейротоксина. Также раскрыты композиции и наборы, содержащие раскрытые полипептиды, нуклеиновые кислоты, содержащие нуклеотидные последовательности, кодирующие такие полипептиды, и клетки, экспрессирующие такие полипептиды.
