Claims (15)
- PAT E NT K RAV1. Rotationsforstøver omfattende: en elektromotor med en stator (106) og en rotor, der er i stand til at frembringe en roterende kraft; en aksel (108), der er monteret lodret og har en ønsket længde, idet akslen (108) kan roteres af den roterende kraft; og en roterende skive (114) monteret i en nedre ende af akslen (108) til at sprøjte af væske i form af små partikler; hvor rotoren er en rotor (104) med permanente magneter; kendetegnet ved, at rotationsforstøveren omfatter et eller flere magnetiske lejer (112a, 112b), der muliggør friktionsfri radial og aksial understøtning af akslen (108); og en lufttilslutning (126) til at modtage luft, der skal omledes til mellemrum imellem akslen (108) og et eller flere af de magnetiske lejer (112a, 112b).
- 2. Rotationsforstøver ifølge krav 1, der endvidere omfatter køleribber (122) til at lede køleluft fra en blæser hen over statoren (106) for at opsamle varme afgivet af statoren (106).
- 3. Rotationsforstøver ifølge krav 2, hvor køleluften udstødes uden for rotationsforstøveren gennem en ringformet spalte mellem den roterende skive (114) og en tilførselsfordeler (124).
- 4. Rotationsforstøver ifølge krav 1, hvor elektromotoren er i stand til at dreje akslen (108) til at yde en skiveperiferispidshastighed på mellem 243,8 og 342,9 m/s (800 og 1125 ft/s).
- 5. Rotationsforstøver ifølge krav 1, hvor lufttilslutningen (126) er egnet til at modtage trykluft.
- 6. Rotationsforstøver ifølge krav 1, der endvidere omfatter en væskekølekappe (130) til at fjerne overskydende elektrisk varme fra statoren (106).
- 7. Rotationsforstøver ifølge krav 1, der endvidere omfatter friktionsreservelejer (118a, 118b), der er i stand til at hindre akslens rotation.
- 8. Forstøversystem omfattende: en justerbar udvendig kegle (214); en fast indvendig kegle (212) indrettet til at optage en rotationsforstøver (100) ifølge ethvert af kravene 1 til 7; et kammer (210); og et eller flere justerbare lodrette elementer (216) forbundet med en eller flere højdeaktuatorer (218) til dynamisk justering af den justerbare udvendige kegle (214).
- 9. Forstøversystem ifølge krav 8, hvor den justerbare udvendige kegle (214) dynamisk kan justeres til at frembringe en første gasstrøm (208a) med en første hastighed og en anden gasstrøm (208b) med en anden hastighed, der er større end den første hastighed.
- 10. Forstøversystem ifølge krav 8, hvor den ene eller flere højdeaktuatorer (218) omfatter en aktuator valgt blandt en gruppe bestående af: (i) elektriske aktuatorer; (ii) hydrauliske aktuatorer; (iii) pneumatiske aktuatorer; (iv) manuelle aktuatorer; og (v) kombinationer deraf.
- 11. Forstøversystem ifølge krav 8, hvor det ene eller flere magnetiske lejer er et eller flere elektromagnetiske lejer (112a, 112b).
- 12. Forstøversystem ifølge krav 8, der endvidere omfatter en eller flere radiale hvirveldannende skærme (206).
- 13. Fremgangsmåde til forstøvning af flydende materiale omfattende: at tilføre flydende materiale til en rotationsforstøver (100) ifølge ethvert af kravene 1 til 7, hvor rotationsforstøveren (100) omfatter en elektromotor, der er i stand til at bringe en aksel (108) i rotation til at yde en skiveperiferispidshastighed på mellem 243,8 og 342,9 m/s (800 og 1125 ft/s), at anvende rotationsforstøveren (100) til at afgive det flydende materiale i form af forstøvede små dråber (204); og at lade de forstøvede små dråber (204) cirkulere med procesgas til at fremstille i det væsentlige tørre partikler.
- 14. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 13, der endvidere omfatter trinet at justere gasstrømhastigheden dynamisk ved at anvende mindst et lodret element (216) forbundet med en aktuator (218).
- 15. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 13, hvor det ene eller flere magnetiske lejer er et eller flere elektromagnetiske lejer (112a, 112b).
