Description
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf die Herstellung von Lithiumseifenschmierfetten, welche Mittel zur Erhöhung
der mechanischen Stabilität enthalten. Eine der wichtigsten Eigenschaften von Schmierfetten ist
die Fähigkeit, ihre Konsistenz bei hohen Temperaturen und über längere Verwendungszeiten beizubehalten.
Diese Eigenschaft ist z. B. bei Kugellagerfetten von besonderer Bedeutung.
Die mechanische Stabilität verschiedener Schmierfette variiert, wie gefunden wurde, in weiten Grenzen,
hauptsächlich in Abhängigkeit von der überwiegend für das Gelieren des Schmierfettes verwendeten Seife.
Lithiumstearatschmierfette haben z. B. eine verhältnismäßig schlechte mechanische Stabilität.
Gegenstand der Erfindung sind Lithiumseifenschmierfette
mit verbesserter mechanischer Stabilität, insbesondere bei höheren Temperaturen, die bei einem
gegebenen Penetrationswert einen verhältnismäßig geringen Seifengehalt aufweisen können.
Es wurde gemäß der Erfindung festgestellt, daß die ein Öl und 4 bis 25 Gewichtsprozent zweier Seifenkomponenten
enthaltenden Schmierfette eine ausgezeichnete Strukturstabilität aufweisen, wenn die
beiden Seifen in einem genau bestimmten Verhältnisbereich vorliegen. Das Hauptgelierungsmittel ist die
Lithiumseife einer aliphatischen Monocarbonsäure mit 12 bis 24 Kohlenstoffatomen ohne eine polare Gruppe,
die näher als 9 Kohlenstoffatome an der Carboxylgruppe steht, und ohne Hydroxylgruppen. Die in geringerer
Menge vorhandene Seife ist die einer Monocarbonsäure mit 3 bis 18 Kohlenstoffatomen und einem
Wasserstoff bindenden Substituenten, der weniger als

g Kohlenstoffatome von der Carboxylgruppe entfernt ist, wobei der Prozentsatz der in geringerer Menge vorhandenen
Seife zwischen 4 und 14 Molprozent und vorzugsweise zwischen 6 und 12 Molprozent des Gesamtseifengehaltes
beträgt.
Die stabilisierenden Zusatzstoffe gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung sind insbesondere Seifen der Alkanmonocarbonsäuren,
Cycloalkanmonocarbonsäuren und monocyclischen aromatischen Monocarbonsäuren, die
einen Wasserstoff bindenden oder einen koordinierenden Substituenten weniger als 9 Kohlenstoff atome von
der Carboxylgruppe entfernt enthalten. Bevorzugt sind die Seifen der Alkanoxymonocarbonsäuren, der
Monocycloalkanoxymonocarbonsäuren und der einkernigen aromatischen Oxyrnonocarbonsäuren sowie
von Monoketoalkanmonocarbonsäuren und Monoaminoalkanmonocarbonsäuren, in denen die Ketogruppe
oder die Aminogruppe an einem weniger als 9 Kohlenstoffatome von der Carboxylgruppe entfernten
Kohlenstoffatom sitzt.
Lithiumseifen werden als stabilisierende Zusatzstoffe
bevorzugt; Seifen von anderen Metallen, insbesondere Alkalimetallen, wie Natrium oder Kalium, können
jedoch ebenfalls verwendet werden. Außerordentliche Wirksamkeit besitzen die Lithiumseifen von Monooxyalkanmonocarbonsäuren
mit 3 bis 18 Kohlenstoffatomen, in denen die Hydroxylgruppe bezüglich der
Carboxylgruppe in β-, γ- oder ό-Stellung steht, wie
Oxypropion-, Oxybutter-, Oxyvalerian-, Oxycapron-, Oxyönanth-, Oxycapryl-, Oxylaurin-, Oxymyristin-,
OxypaJmitin-, Oxystearinsäuren sowie ihre Homologen und Analogen. Die entsprechenden Mercaptoverbindungen,
in denen die Hydroxylgruppe durch eine Mercaptogruppe ersetzt ist, wirken bei der vorliegenden
Erfindung ähnlich gut.
Eine andere wirksame Gruppe von stabilisierenden Zusatzstoffen sind die Monoaminoalkanmonocarbonsäureseifen
und insbesondere die Lithiumseifen von Säuren, wie 3-Aminopropionsäure, 3-Aminohexansäure,
3-Aminopentansäure, 4-Aminohexansäure, 5-Aminodecansäure und ihre Analogen und Homologen.
Vorzugsweise werden die Seifen von Aminoalkansäuren mit 3 bis 18 Kohlenstoffatomen verwendet;
im wesentlichen unverzweigte Säuren sind vorzuziehen.
Bei den Schmierfetten gemäß der Erfindung können Metallseifen von Monoketoalkanmonocarbonsäuren
mit 3 bis 18 Kohlenstoffatomen verwendet werden. Diese können Lithium-, Natrium-, Calcium-, Aluminium-
oder Kaliumseifen von Säuren, wie Pyravinsäure, Propionylcarbonsäure, Acetessigsäure, Lävulinsäure
und Acetobuttersäure sein. Die entsprechenden Schwefelverbindungen, in denen das Sauerstoffatom
der Ketogruppe durch ein Schwefelatom ersetzt ist, wirken ähnlich als Stabilisatoren für Schmierfette
gemäß der Erfindung.
Ein besonders günstiges Stabilisierungsmittel ist eine Seife von z. B. aus Erdöl stammenden Oxynaphthensäuren.
Gemische dieser Art werden besser durch die Herkunft als durch die genaue Zusammensetzung definiert.
Es sei jedoch betont, daß die besonders wirksamen Seifen von Oxynaphthensäuren sich vorwiegend
von den eine Hydroxylgruppe enthaltenden alkylierten Cyclopentansäuren ableiten. Von diesen besteht ein
großer Teil aus Hydroxylderivaten von (3-Äthyl-4-methyl-i-cyclopentanyl)-essig-,
-butter- und -valeriansäure. Naturgemäß können gewünschtenf alls auch
die reinen wohl definierten einzelnen Glieder dieser Gruppe verwendet werden.
Zu den als Stabilisierungsmittel geeigneten Seifen der aromatischen Säuren gehören insbesondere die
Seifen von einringigen aromatischen Monocarbonsäuren, die einen Wasserstoff bindenden oder koordinierenden
Substituenten, wie eine Nitro-, Amino-, Mercapto-, Hydroxyl-, Keto- oder Sulfogruppe, an den
aromatischen Ring oder eine kurze Seitenkette gebunden enthalten. Typische Beispiele hierfür sind
die Natrium-, Kalium-, Aluminium-, Calcium- oder Lithium-Seifen von o-, m- oder p-Nitrobenzoesäure;
o-, m- oder p-Aminobenzoesäure; o-, m- oder p-Mercaptobenzoesäure; 0-, m- oder p-Oxybenzoesäure;
Mandelsäure, Tropinsäure, Benzoylameisensäure und Benzoylessigsäure. Die nachstehenden Beispiele zeigen,
daß die Stellung des wasserstoffbindenden koordinierenden Substituenten hinsichtlich der Carboxylgruppe
so lange ohne Belang ist, als er an einem weniger als 9 Kohlenstoffatome von der Carboxylgruppe
entfernten Kohlenstoffatom sitzt. Wenn zwischen den beiden funktionellen Gruppen ein größerer
Zwischenraum besteht, so leidet die erhöhte mechanische Stabilität des Schmierfettes entsprechend.
Die aliphatischen Monocarbonsäuren, von denen sich die Hauptgelierungsmittel ableiten können, sind insbesondere
die von natürlichen fetten Ölen, wie pflanzlichen Ölen, tierischen Ölen und Fischölen, stammenden
Fettsäuren. Säuren hydrierter pflanzlicher Öle sind — wie gefunden wurde — besonders geeignet.
Andere geeignete Säuren sind Ölsäure, Stearinsäure, Linolsäure und Linolensäure sowie die von Rinderfett,
Talg od. dgl. stammenden Säuren.
Das die Basis des Schmierfettes bildende Schmiermittel ist in den meisten Fällen ein Mineralschmieröl.
Es können jedoch natürliche Öle, z. B. pflanzliche öle
oder tierische Öle, und auch synthetische Schmiermittel verwendet werden, wie polymerisierte Olefine,
Polyalkylenoxyde, z. B. Polypropylenoxyd, polymerisierte Sulfide, wie Polypropylensulfid, polymerisierte
Glykole, wie Polypropylenglykol, Ester von Dicarbonsäure, wie bis-(2-Äthylhexyl)-sebacat, und Phosphate,
wie Tributylphosphat und Trikresylphosphat. In Fällen, in denen mit der Verwendung hoher Temperatur
zu rechnen ist, können Fluorverbindungen und die Kohlenwasserstoffsilicone ganz oder zum Teil verwendet
werden.
Die Mengen des Hauptgelierungsmittels können innerhalb gewisser Grenzen variiert werden, wobei
jedoch der geforderte Verhältnisbereich der stabilisierenden Seifen zu den Hauptgelierungsseifen eingehalten
werden muß. Es wurde gefunden, daß lediglich innerhalb dieser streng begrenzten Mengenverhältnisse
eine unerwartete und überraschend große Erhöhung der mechanischen Stabilität erzielt wird. Zur Veranschaulichung
wird auf die Kurvendarstellung der Zeichnung verwiesen, die die Wirkung verschiedener
Mengen der Lithiumseife der 4-Oxyvaleriansäure auf die mechanische Stabilität eines Lithiumstearat-
Schmierfettes zeigt. Bei Betrachtung der Kurve zeigt sich, daß die Menge der Lithiumseife der 4-Oxyvaleriansäure
zwischen 4 und 14 Molprozent und vorzugsweise zwischen 6 und 12 Molprozent des Gesamtseifengehaltes
betragen soll, um eine außerordentliche mechanische Stabilität zu erzeugen. Wenn dem
Schmierfett größere oder geringere Mengen des Zusatzstoffes einverleibt werden, so werden nur geringe Abweichungen
der mechanischen Stabilität, verglichen mit Schmierfetten ohne diesen Zusatz, erhalten.
Der Gesamtseifengehalt der Schmierfette kann etwa 4 bis 25 Gewichtsprozent des Gesamtschmierfettes betragen;
er liegt vorzugsweise zwischen 7 und 20 Gewichtsprozent des Schmierfettes. Zu bemerken ist, daß
von jeder der drei Hauptkomponenten Mischungen verwendet werden können; z. B. bestehen, wenn ein
bei niedriger Temperatur anzuwendendes Schmierfett hergestellt werden soll, bis zu 20 Gewichtsprozent der
Ölbasiskomponente vorzugsweise aus einem Ester einer
Dicarbonsäure, wie bis-(2-Äthylhexyl)-sebacat, in Mischung mit dem Mineralöl. Sowohl als Hauptgelierungsmittel
als auch als Stabilisator können Mischungen von reinen oder natürlichen Seifen verwendet
werden. Andere Bestandteile, die in den Schmierfetten enthalten sein können, sind Glykole
und Glycerin, zur Verhinderung des Blutens od. dgl., und Antioxydationsmittel, wie p-Phenylendiamin.
In manchen Fällen sind Zusatzstoffe dieser Art nicht notwendig, da die beschriebenen Klassen von stabilisierenden
Seifen nicht nur die mechanische Stabilität der Schmierfettkompositionen, sondern auch ihre Beständigkeit
gegen Bluten und Oxydation erhöhen.
Bei der Herstellung der Schmierfette arbeitet man vorzugsweise nach den in der Literatur beschriebenen
Verfahren unter Beachtung gewisser Vorsichtsmaßregeln zur Vermeidung einer Dehydratation der
hydroxylhaltigen stabilisierenden Mittel oder eines Verlustes von anderen Arten von Wasserstoff bindenden
Substituenten. Eine typische Herstellungsweise von Lithiumschmierfetten besteht in dem Verseifen
der beiden Klassen von Carbonsäuren, nämlich der den Hauptschmierfettanteil bildenden Fettsäure
und der stabilisierenden Säure, Dehydration der Seife in Gegenwart eines Teils des Öls, Lösen der Seife im Öl
durch Erhitzen und gemeinsame Fällung der beiden Seifen in der erwünschten faserigen Form durch
Erniedrigung der Temperatur, vorzugsweise unter Rühren und Bearbeiten.
Insbesondere wurde gefunden, daß Schmierfette mit optimaler Konsistenz hergestellt werden durch Mischen
der beiden Arten von Säuren mit etwa ein Drittel des Öls, Zugeben von Lithiumhydroxyd bei etwa ioo°, anschließende
Erhöhung der Temperatur auf etwa 2000 zur Bildung der konzentrierten Seifenmischung und
zur Lösung der Seife in dem Öl. Das Konzentrat wird dann durch Einverleibung der restlichen Menge kalten
Öls abgeschreckt. Das Gemisch wird wieder auf etwa 1900 erhitzt und unter Bearbeiten auf Raumtemperatur
gekühlt.
Die Dehydratationsstufe wird unter Bedingungen ausgeführt, die der Entfernung von Wasser günstig
sind, welches zusammen mit dem Lithiumhydroxyd oder einem anderen Hydroxyd eingeführt wurde;
jedoch wird, wie schon erwähnt, die Temperatur niedriger
als die Dehydratisierungstemperatur der Oxyfettsäure oder die Zersetzungstemperatur der anderen
stabilisierenden Zusatzstoffe gehalten. Wenn die Dehydratisierungstemperatur über etwa 230° gesteigert
wird, verlieren die meisten stabilisierenden Zusatzstoffe ihre Wasserstoff bindenden Substituenten und
bilden Zersetzungsprodukte, die hauptsächlich aus ungesättigten Säuren oder ihren Seifen, z. B. den Seifen
von Acrylsäuren oder Methacrylsäuren oder ihrer höheren Homologen bestehen. Diese ungesättigten
Zersetzungsprodukte haben zwar in großen Mengen gewisse günstige Wirkungen. Wenn sie in den erfindungsgemäß
zu verwendenden Mengenverhältnissen vorliegen, zeigen sie jedoch keine besonders günstige
Wirkung auf die mechanische Stabilität der Schmierfette.
Die Seifenmischung kann vorher hergestellt und dann dem Öl zur Bildung eines Schmierfettes zugegeben
werden. Es wurde aber gefunden, daß die Methode des Abschreckens durch nachträgliches Verdünnen
ein Schmierfett von weit besserer mechanischer Stabilität ergibt, und es soll also die oben beschriebene
Art der Herstellung, wenn immer möglich, verwendet werden. Das gemeinsame Fällen der Lithiumseifen
sowohl des Hauptgelierungsmittels als auch des stabilisierenden Mittels in dem Ölbestandteil des Schmierfettes
ergibt ein Schmierfett mit außerordentlicher mechanischer Stabilität.
Bei der Herstellung der Schmierfette nach der Erfindung können verschiedene Arten von Mineralöl
verwendet werden. Es wurde gefunden, daß die höherraffinierten Öle, vorzugsweise hochraffinierte paraffinische
oder naphthenische Öle, Schmierfette von verbesserter mechanischer Stabilität ergeben, wenn
die Zusatzstoffe gemäß der Erfindung zugegen sind. Mineralöle mit einem Gehalt an aromatischen Kohlen-Wasserstoffen
von 0 bis 25 Gewichtsprozent werden bevorzugt. Die Zahlen der Tabelle I zeigen den Einfluß
auf die mechanische Stabilität, wenn die Schmierfette aus verschiedenen Mineralölen mit ähnlichen Viskositätseigenschaften
hergestellt wurden. Eine Destillatfraktion von Ölen auf naphthenischer Basis mit einer
Viskosität von 55 SUS (Saybolt-Universal-Sekunden) bei 990 ist als Schmieröl geringster Raffinierung
angeführt. Ein mittelmäßig raffiniertes Öl wird vertreten durch ein Industrieöl vom Viskositätsindex 25
aus demselben Ausgangsmaterial, das in geringem Maße mit Lösungsmitteln extrahiert und durch Ton
perkoliert wurde. Das Turbinenöl ist ein Raffinat aus einer ausgedehnten Edeleanu- und einer Tonbehandlung
einer Destillatschmierölfraktion eines Golf-Rohöls.

Die beschriebenen Schmierfette enthielten alle 6 Molprozent Lithium-4-oxyvaleriat, bezogen auf den
Gesamtseif engehalt, und jedes der Schmierfette enthielt 6 Gewichtsprozent Gesamtseife. Das bei den
obigen Versuchen verwendete Turbinenöl unterschied sich von den beiden anderen Schmiermitteln prinzipiell
durch den niedrigen Aromatengehalt, der zwischen o,i und ι % liegen soll, um ein Schmierfett
mit bester mechanischer Stabilität zu ergeben. Außerdem soll der Stickstoffgehalt des raffinierten Öls so
niedrig wie möglich sein.
ι ο Die mechanische Stabilität der gemäß der Erfindung
hergestellten Schmierfette kann unter Verwendung des in der Schmierfettindustrie verwendeten Shell-Roll-Testers
festgestellt werden. Die Apparatur, in der die Prüfung stattfindet, ist einem Rollenlager nach-
gebildet und besteht aus einem horizontalen Hohlzylinder von 8,9 cm Durchmesser und 17,8 cm Länge,
in den ein voller Stahlzylinder von 5,7 cm Durchmesser und etwa 17,8 cm Länge von einem Gewicht von etwa
5 kg eingelegt ist. Der von vornherein an einem Ende geschlossene große Zylinder besitzt eine nach dem
Einfüllen des Schmierfettes über das offene Ende geschobene Kappe. Der Vollstahlzylinder hat genügend
Spiel, um in dem mit 160 Umdrehungen pro Minute in Umdrehung versetzten großen Zylinder frei zu
rollen; der Vollzylinder dreht sich in ihm durch Kontakt mit der Innenfläche des größeren Hohlzylinders.
In einer Apparatur dieser Art kann eine gegebene Menge Schmierfett während einer gegebenen
Zeitdauer gewalzt und auf die Konsistenz geprüft werden, um den Grad der mechanischen Stabilität
des Schmierfettes festzustellen. Der kleinere Zylinder walzt, bearbeitet und knetet das Schmierfett während
der Prüfung energisch. Nach gegebenen Zeitintervallen wird das Schmierfett entfernt, auf seine Konsistenz
geprüft und dann zwecks weiterer Bearbeitung in die Apparatur zurückgegeben.
Die Konsistenz des Fettes wird mittels eines speziellen, kleinen, an dem üblichen ASTM-Penetrometer
befestigten Konus bestimmt. Bei diesem Test wird ein kleines Gefäß verwendet. Die in dieser Apparatur nach
der Beschreibung erhaltene Penetration wird hier als »Mikropenetration« bezeichnet, die gewünschtenfalls
mit der regulären ASTM-Penetration mittels einer vorher bestimmten Kurve verglichen werden kann.
Die Walzstabilität eines Schmierfettes wird ausgedrückt durch die Zeit, die beim Walzen in der
beschriebenen Apparatur benötigt wird, bis das Schmierfett eine Mikropenetration von 230 dmm
erreicht hat.
So Die mechanische Stabilität von Schmierfetten bei Zimmertemperatur ist zwar wichtig, jedoch ist zu
fordern, daß Schmierfette eine hinreichende Stabilität bei erhöhten Temperaturen besitzen, wenn sie in bei
ungefähr ioo° oder auch höher arbeitenden Apparaturen anwendbar sein sollen. Lithiumseifenschmierfette
sind wegen ihrer geringen Stabilität bei erhöhten Temperaturen bekannt. Es wurde gefunden, daß die
Zusatzstoffe gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung, wenn sie in den Schmierfetten innerhalb des entscheidenden
oben beschriebenen Konzentrationsbereiches vorliegen, die Schmierfette hinreichend
für ihre Verwendung bei erhöhten Temperaturen stabilisieren.
In dem folgenden Versuch wurden hydrierte Fischölsäuren verwendet. Diese sind im wesentlichen
Mischungen von Fettsäuren mit einem überwiegenden Teil von Stearinsäure und wesentlichen Teilen anderer
Fettsäuren mit 14 bis 22 Kohlenstoffatomen. Die Ölbasis war ein Turbinenöl von niedrigem Aromatengehalt
mit einer Viskosität von 100 Centistokes bei 380 und einem Viskositätsindex von 55. Ein Drittel
des Öls wurde mit den Fischölsäuren oder den Fischölsäuren und den stabilisierenden Säuren vermischt,
wobei die letzteren in solchen Mengen und Verhältnissen zur Anwendung kamen, wie zur Erzeugung
eines endgültigen Schmierfettes mit 8 Gewichtsprozent Gesamtseifengehalt, bezogen auf die Gesamtkomposition,
notwendig waren und welches 0,3 Gewichtsprozent (8,6 Molprozent) des Stabilisierungsmittels
enthält. Der Mischung wurde bei ioo° Lithiumhydroxyd in stöchiometrischer Menge zum Neutralisieren
der Säuren zugegeben, wonach das Seife-Öl-Konzentrat bei 200° dehydratisiert wurde. Dann
wurde das restliche Öl zugegeben und die Masse zur Lösung der Seifen auf 205 bis 2100 erhitzt. Man ließ
die Lösung ohne Bewegung auf 1200 abkühlen, hielt
sie während 2 Stunden auf dieser Temperatur und ließ dann auf Zimmertemperatur abkühlen. Das gekühlte
Gel wurde dann in einem ASTM-Schmierfettbearbeiter zur Erzeugung eines für die Prüfung geeigneten
Schmierfettes bearbeitet.
Die gemäß dem obigen Verfahren hergestellten Schmierfette wurden in dem Shell-Roll-Tester, wie
oben beschrieben, auf ihre mechanische Stabilität geprüft. Die Zahlen der Tabelle II zeigen die Wirkung
der verschiedenen Zusatzstoffe.

Ein zusätzliches Merkmal der Schmierfette gemäß vorliegender Erfindung ist der hinsichtlich der Luftaufnahme
während des Walzens bzw. des Bearbeitens erzielte Vorteil. Unter den üblichen Bedingungen des
Walzens bzw. Bearbeitens von Schmierfett werden dem Schmierfett große Luftmengen einverleibt, die
danach unter Vakuum oder mittels anderer geeigneter Mittel entfernt werden müssen. Das oben beschriebene
nicht modifizierte Schmierfett nahm während des Walzens um 40 Volumprozent zu. Im Gegensatz dazu
war beim Walzen einer der anderen, die stabilisierenden Zusatzstoffe enthaltenden Proben die Volumenzunahme
infolge Luftaufnahme nur 4 bis 6%. Der Grund für diese Verbesserung der Bearbeitungseigenschaften
ist zur Zeit noch nicht klar, jedoch 12g scheint die Menge der Luftaufnahme der Bildung von
extrem feinen Seifenpartikeln infolge Abreibens, die dann unter Bildung einer Luft-Öl-Emulsion wirken,
zu entsprechen.
Claims (11)
1. Schmierfette, bestehend aus einer Schmierölbasis
und einer Lithiumseife als Hauptgelierungsmittel, welche von mindestens einer aliphatischen
Monocarbonsäure mit 12 bis 24 Kohlenstoffatomen abgeleitet ist, die keinen polaren Substituenten
weniger als 9 Kohlenstoffatome von der Carboxylgruppe entfernt und keine Hydroxylgruppe besitzt,
sowie 4 bis 14 Molprozent, vorzugsweise 6 bis 12 Molprozent, bezogen auf den Gesamtseifengehalt
von 4 bis 25 Gewichtsprozent des fertigen Schmierfettes, einer Metallseife, vorzugsweise einer Alkali-
und insbesondere einer Lithiumseife, welche von mindestens einer Monocarbonsäure mit 3 bis
18 Kohlenstoffatomen abgeleitet ist, welche einen Wasserstoff bindenden Substituenten weniger als
9 Kohlenstoffatome von der Carboxylgruppe entfernt aufweist.
2. Schmierfette nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die als Hauptgelierungsmittel verwendete Seife von einer hydrierten Fischölsäure
abgeleitet ist.
3. Schmierfette nach Anspruch 1 und 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Schmieröl ein Mineralschmieröl,
vorzugsweise ein hochraffiniertes paraf-
fmisches und/oder naphthenisches Öl ist.
4. Schmierfette nach Anspruch 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Schmieröl ein Mineralschmieröl
mit einem Gehalt an aromatischen Kohlenwasserstoffen zwischen ο und 25 Gewichtsprozent
ist.
5. Schmierfette nach Anspruch 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Metallseife einer Monocarbonsäure
mit 3 bis 18 Kohlenstoffatomen eine solche der Alkanmonocarbonsäuren, vorzugsweise
im wesentlichen ohne Verzweigung im Kohlenwasserstoffteil des Moleküls, oder eine solche der
Cycloalkanmonocarbonsäuren oder einringiger aromatischer Monocarbonsäuren, vorzugsweise ohne
verzweigtkettige Substituenten, ist.
6. Schmierfette nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Metallseife eine solche der
durch eine Hydroxyl-, Mercapto-, Amino- oder Ketogruppe substituierten Alkanmonocarbonsäuren,
insbesondere der 4-Oxyvaleriansäure, ist.
7. Schmierfette nach Anspruch 5, dadurch ge- ^0
kennzeichnet, daß die Metallseife eine solche der Oxynaphthensäuren ist.
8. Schmierfette nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Metallseife eine solche der
eine Nitro-, Amino-, Mercapto-, Hydroxyl-, Keto- oder Sulfogruppe an den aromatischen Ring oder
eine Seitenkette gebunden enthaltenden einringigen aromatischen Monocarbonsäuren ist.
9. Verfahren zur Herstellung von Schmierfetten nach Anspruch 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Mischung der Metallseifen und der Schmieröle auf eine Temperatur nicht über 2300 bis zum
Lösen der Metallseifen erhitzt und gekühlt wird.
10. Verfahren nach Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß ein Konzentrat des Gemisches ·* der Metallseifen in einem Teil der Schmieröle auf
eine Temperatur nicht über 230° bis zum Lösen der Metallseife erhitzt und das Konzentrat durch
Zugeben des restlichen Teiles des Öles abgeschreckt wird.
11. Verfahren nach Anspruch 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß das Konzentrat des Gemisches der Metallseifen in einem Teil der Schmieröle durch
gemeinsame Verseifung der entsprechenden Säuren und/oder Glyceride in Gegenwart eines Teiles der
Schmieröle hergestellt wird.
