Description
- Verfahren zur Herstellung geleeartiger Zubereitungen Es ist bekannt, für die Herstellung von Gelees, insbesondere von Glyceringelee, Schleimstoffe, wie z. B. Tragant, oder auch Gelatine zu verwenden.
- Diese Stoffe weisen jedoch den Nachteil auf, daß sie mehr oder weniger klebende Eigenschaften besitzen, die vielfach unerwünscht sind.
- Es wurde nun gefunden, daß sich aus Wasser oder wäßrigen Lösungen nicht gelatinierender Stoffe sehr gut.haltbare Gelees herstellen lassen, wenn man die aus mehrwertigen, insbesondere aliphatischen Alkoholen und höhermolekularen acyclischen oder acyclischen Alkoholen gebildeten Äther, die wenigstens noch eine freie Hydroxylgruppe aufweisen, als Gelatinierungsmittel verwendet. Von solchen Äthern mögen beispielsweise genannt sein: Glycerinmonotetradecyl äther, Glycerinmonododecoxyäthyläther,Glycerinmonocetyläther,Butantriol-I, 2, 3 - monododecyläther, Trimethylolpropanmonododecyläther, Chinitmonocetyläther,Tri äthanolaminmonocetyläther, Trimethylolpropanmonooxäthyläther des Octadecylalkohols, Glycerinmonotetrahydrofurfuryläther bzw. -hexahydrobenzyläther. Die erfindungsgemäß vorgeschlagenen Äther können für sich oder zweckmäßigerweise zusammen mit Alkoholen, insbesondere wasserlöslichen Alkoholen, wie Äthylalkohol, Isopropylalkohol, Tetrahydrofurfurylalkohol, Glykol, Glycerin, angewandt werden. Je nach dem Verwendungszweck ist es zuweilen angebracht, neutral reagierende seifenartige Stoffe, wie z.B. Fettalkoholsulfonate, mitzuverwenden.
- Die erhältlichen Gelees können für die verschiedensten Zwecke, wie Zahncremes, Haarcremes, Haarfestlegemittel, Schmink- und Abschminkmittel, Verwendung finden. Sie sind verträglich mit den in der Kosmetik üblichen Hilfsstoffen, wie Wasserstoffsuperoxyd, Kaliumchlorat, Schlemmkreide usw.
- Beispiel I Einer Auflösung von 17,7 Gewichtsteilen Glycerinmonododecyläther in 17,7 Gewichtsteilen Athylalkohol werden allmählich 62 Gewichtsteile Wasser, das mit o,g Gewichtsteilen Resorcin und I,7 Gewichtsteilen Fettalkoholsulfonat (C12-C4) versetzt ist, bis zur Gelbildung zugefügt. Man erhält eine gute Haarcreme.
- Beispiel 2 7,8 Gewichtsteile Glycerinmonotetradecyläther werden in 31,3 Gewichtsteilen Glycerin gelöst und allmählich mit 54,6 Gewichtsteilen Wasser bis zur Gelbildung versetzt, worauf noch eine Lösung von 0,5 Gewichtsteilen Salicylsäure, o,6 Gewichtsteilen Menthol und 0,4 Gewichtsteilen Heliotropin in 4,8 Gewichtsteffen Alkohol zugerührt wird. Man erhält ein Gelee; das sich zum Gebrauch nach dem Rasieren eignet.
Claims (2)
- PATENTANSPRÜCHE: I. Verfahren zur Herstellung von Gelees aus Wasser oder wäßrigen Lösungen nicht gelatinierender Stoffe, gekennzeichnet durch die Mitverwendung von aus mehrwertigen Alkoholen und höhermolekularen acyclischen oder cyclischen Alkoholen, die noch substituiert und in der Kohlenstoffolge durch andere Atome oder Atomgruppen unterbrochen sein können, gebildeten Äthern, die wenigstens noch eine freie Hydroxylgruppe enthält.
- 2. Verfahren gemäß Anspruch I, gekennzeichnet durch den weiteren Zusatz von wasserlöslichen Alkoholeri und bzw. oder neutral reagierenden seifenartigen Stoffen, wie Fettalkoholsulfonaten.Angezogene Druckschriften: - Deutsche Patentschriften Nr. 693 517, 705 450, 722 6in; französische Patentschrift Nr. 877 756.
