Description

  • Pumpe zum Fördern von flüssigem Metall, insbesondere von Zink Die Erfindung besteht in einer Verbesserung dei Vorrichtung nach dem Patent 868 iio durch Verwendung einer vorzugsweise oder rein axial fördernden Schrauben- oder Propellerpumpe.
  • Diese Pumpenart hat den Vorzug des guten Wirkungsgrades. Ihre Anwendung ist für den Zweck der Erfindung möglich, weil praktisch ohne Saughöhe gearbeitet werden kann.
  • Mit der Verwendung dieser Pumpenart ist darüber hinaus der Vorteil verbunden, daß das im flüssigen Metall liegende und von diesem geschmierte Lager dauernd im Strom des hochgeförderten Metalls liegt und @daß im übrigen das Pumpengehäuse äußerst einfach und zugleich Steigrohr ist, .das am oberen Ende nur mit einer offenen Überlauf rinne versehen zu werden braucht.

Claims (1)

  1. PATENTANSPRUCH: Stehende Laufradpumpe zum Fördern von flüssigem Metall mit in das Metall untergetauchtem Pumpengehäuse, wobei die am Pumpengelhäuse, unter dem Flüssigkeitsspiegel liegende Lagerstelle der Pumpe so ausgebildet ist, daß das flüssige Metall als Schmiermittel für sie dient, nach Patent 868 11 o, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Läufer in an sich bekannter Weise schraubenförmig ausgebildet ist.
