Description
- Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft neue Piperidinverbindungen, deren Verwendung als Lichtstabilisatoren, Wärmestabilisatoren und Oxidationsstabilisatoren für organische Materialien, insbesondere synthetische Polymere, und so stabilisierte organische Materialien.
- Zahlreiche Patente hinsichtlich der Herstellung und der Verwendung als Lichtstabilisatoren für synthetische Polymere von 2,2,6,6-Tetramethylpiperidin-Derivaten wurden veröffentlicht, insbesondere US-Patente 3640 928, 3 684 765, 3 840 494, 3 904 581, 4 021 432, 4 136 081 und 4 798 836 und DE 3 522 678.
- Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft neue Piperidinverbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (I)
- worin X und Y, die gleich oder voneinander verschieden sein können, eine Gruppe der Formel (IIa) oder (IIb)
- darstellen, worin R&sub1; für Wasserstoff, C&sub1;&submin;&sub8;-Alkyl, O , OH, NO, CH&sub2;CN, C&sub1;&submin;&sub1;&sub8;-Alkoxy, C&sub5;&submin;&sub1;&sub2;-Cycloalkoxy, C&sub3;&submin;&sub6;-Alkenyl, C&sub7;&submin;&sub9;-Phenylalkyl, welches unsübstituiert oder mono-, di- oder trisubstituiert an dem Phenylring durch C&sub1;&submin;&sub4;-Alkyl ist; oder C&sub1;&submin;&sub8;-Acyl steht und R&sub2; für Wasserstoff, C&sub1;&submin;&sub1;&sub8;-Alkyl, C&sub3;&submin;&sub6;-Alkenyl, C&sub2;&submin;&sub4;-Alkyl, substituiert in der 2-, 3- oder 4- Stellung durch C&sub1;&submin;&sub8;-Alkoxy, durch Di-(C&sub1;&submin;&sub4;-alkyl)-amino oder durch eine 5- bis 7gliedrige, Stickstoff enthaltende, heterocyclische Gruppe mit der freien Valenz an dem Stickstoffatom; C&sub5;&submin;&sub1;&sub2;-Cycloalkyl, das unsubstituiert oder mono-, di- oder trisubstituiert ist durch C&sub1;&submin;&sub4;-Alkyl; C&sub7;&submin;&sub9;-Phenylalkyl, das unsubstituiert oder mono-, di- oder trisubstituiert an dem Phenyl durch C&sub1;&submin;&sub4;-Alkyl ist; Tetrahydrofurfuryl oder eine Gruppe der Formel (III)
- steht, worin R&sub1; wie vorstehend definiert ist, oder die beiden Reste X, die beiden Reste Y oder die Reste X und Y jeweils gemeinsam eine Gruppe N-R bilden, worin R eine Gruppe der Formel (III) ist.
- Beispiele für Alkyl mit nicht mehr als 18 Kohlenstoffatomen sind Methyl, Ethyl, Propyl, Isopropyl, Butyl, 2-Butyl, Isobutyl, tert.-Butyl, Pentyl, 2-Pentyl, Hexyl, Heptyl, Octyl, 2-Ethylhexyl, terte-Octyl, Nonyl, Decyl, Undecyl, Dodecyl, Tridecyl, Tetradecyl, Hexadecyl oder Octadecyl.
- Beispiele für C&sub2;&submin;&sub4;-Alkyl, substituiert durch C&sub1;&submin;&sub8;-Alkoxy, vorzugsweise C&sub1;&submin;&sub4;-Alkoxy, insbesondere Methoxy oder Ethoxy, sind 2-Methoxyethyl, 2-Ethoxyethyl, 3-Methoxypropyl, 3-Ethoxypropyl, 3-Butoxypropyl, 3-Octoxypropyl oder 4-Methoxybutyl.
- Beispiele für C&sub2;&submin;&sub4;-Alkyl, substituiert durch Di-(C&sub1;&submin;&sub4;-alkyl)- amino, vorzugsweise durch Dimethylamino oder Diethylamino, sind 2-Dimethylaminoethyl, 2-Diethylaminoethyl, 3-Dimethylaminopropyl, 3-Diethylaminopropyl, 3-Dibutylaminopropyl oder 4-Diethylaminobutyl.
- Beispiele für C&sub2;&submin;&sub4;-Alkyl, substituiert durch eine 5- bis 7- gliedrige, Stickstoff enthaltende, heterocyclische Gruppe, sind die Gruppen der Formel
- worin A für eine direkte Bindung, -O-, -CH&sub2;- oder CH&sub2;CH&sub2;- steht.
- ist bevorzugt.
- Beispiele für C&sub1;&submin;&sub1;&sub8;-Alkoxy sind Methoxy, Ethoxy, Propoxy, Isopropoxy, Butoxy, Isobutoxy, Pentoxy, Isopentoxy, Hexoxy, Heptoxy, Octoxy, Decyloxy, Dodecyloxy, Tetradecyloxy, Hexadecyloxy oder Octadecyloxy. C&sub6;&submin;&sub1;&sub2;-Alkoxy ist bevorzugt.
- Beispiele für C&sub5;&submin;&sub1;&sub2;-Cycloalkyl, das unsubstituiert oder mono-, di- oder trisubstituiert ist durch C&sub1;&submin;&sub4;-Alkyl, sind Cyclopentyl, Methylcyclopentyl, Dimethylcyclopentyl, Cyclohexyl, Methylcyclohexyl, Dimethylcyclohexyl, Trimethylcyclohexyl, tert.-Butylcyclohexyl, Cyclooctyl, Cyclodecyl,oder Cyclodedecyl. Unsubstituiertes oder C&sub1;&submin;&sub4;-Alkyl-substituiertes Cyclohexyl ist bevorzugt.
- Beispiele für C&sub5;&submin;&sub1;&sub2;-Cycloalkoxy sind Cyclopentoxy, Cyclohexoxy, Cycloheptoxy, Cyclooctoxy, Cyclodecyloxy und Cyclododecyloxy. Cyclopentoxy und Cyclohexoxy sind bevorzugt.
- Beispiele für C&sub3;&submin;&sub6;-Alkenyl sind Allyl, 2-Methylallyl, 2-Butenyl oder 2-Hexenyl. Allyl ist bevorzugt. Das Kohlenstoffatom in der 1-Stellung ist vorzugsweise gesättigt.
- Beispiele für C&sub7;&submin;&sub9;-Phenylalkyl, das unsubstituiert oder mono-, di- oder trisubstituiert an dem Phenyl durch C&sub1;&submin;&sub4;-Alkyl ist, sind Benzyl, Methylbenzyl, Dimethylbenzyl, Trimethylbenzyl, tert.-Butylbenzyl oder 2-Phenylethyl. Benzyl ist bevorzugt.
- Acyl R&sub1;, enthaltend nicht mehr als 8 Kohlenstoffatome, kann eine aliphatische oder aromatische Gruppe sein. Repräsentative Beispiele sind Formyl, Acetyl, Propionyl, Butyryl, Pentanoyl, Hexanoyl, Heptanoyl, Octanoyl, Benzoyl, Acryloyl oder Crotonyl. C&sub1;&submin;&sub8;-Alkanoyl, C&sub3;&submin;&sub8;-Alkenoyl und Benzoyl sind bevorzugt. Acetyl ist besonders bevorzugt.
- Beispiele für Verbindungen der Formel (I), worin die beiden Reste X, die beiden Reste Y oder die Reste X und Y jeweils gemeinsam eine Gruppe N-R bilden, sind
- Die bevorzugten Definitionen von R&sub1; sind Wasserstoff, C&sub1;&submin;&sub4;- Alkyl, OH, C&sub6;&submin;&sub1;&sub2;-Alkoxy, C&sub5;&submin;&sub8;-Cycloalkoxy, Allyl, Benzyl oder Acetyl, insbesondere Wasserstoff oder Methyl.
- Diejenigen Verbindungen der Formel (I) sind bevorzugt, worin X und Y, die gleich oder voneinander verschieden sein können, für eine Gruppe der Formel (IIa) oder (IIb) stehen, worin R&sub2; Wasserstoff, C&sub1;&submin;&sub1;&sub2;-Alkyl, C&sub2;&submin;&sub3;-Alkyl, substituiert an der 2- oder 3-Stellung durch C&sub1;&submin;&sub4;-Alkoxy, durch Di-(C&sub1;&submin;&sub4;- alkyl)-amino oder durch eine 1-Pyrrolidyl-, 1-Piperidyl- oder 4-Morpholinylgruppe; C&sub5;&submin;&sub8;-Cycloalkyl, das unsubstituiert oder mono-, di- oder trisubstituiert ist durch C&sub1;&submin;&sub4;-Alkyl; Benzyl, das unsubstituiert oder mono-, di- oder trisubstituiert durch C&sub1;&submin;&sub4;-Alkyl ist; Tetrahydrofurfuryl oder eine Gruppe der Formel (III) bedeutet, oder die beiden Reste X, die beiden Reste Y oder die Reste X und Y jeweils gemeinsam eine Gruppe N-R bilden, worin R fur eine Gruppe der Formel (III) steht.
- Diejenigen Verbindungen der Formel (I) sind besonders bevorzugt, worin X und Y,die gleich oder voneinander verschieden sein können, für eine Gruppe der Formel (IIa) oder (IIb) stehen, worin R&sub2; Wasserstoff, C&sub1;&submin;&sub1;&sub0;-Alkyl, C&sub2;&submin;&sub3;-Alkyl, substituiert an der 2- oder 3-Stellung durch Methoxy, durch Ethoxy, durch Dimethylamino, durch Diethylamino oder durch 4-Morpholinyl; Cyclohexyl, das unsubstituiert oder mono-, di- oder trisubstituiert ist durch C&sub1;&submin;&sub4;-Alkyl; Benzyl, Tetrahydrofurfuryl oder eine Gruppe der Formel (III) bedeutet, oder die beiden Reste X, die beiden Reste Y oder die Reste X und Y jeweils gemeinsam eine Gruppe N-R bilden, worin R für eine Gruppe der Formel (III) steht.
- Diejenigen Verbindungen der Formel (I) sind von speziellem Interesse, worin X und Y, die identisch oder voneinander verschieden sein können, eine Gruppe der Formel (IIa) oder (IIb) sind, worin R&sub2; für Wasserstoff, C&sub1;&submin;&sub8;-Alkyl, Cyclohexyl, Benzyl oder eine Gruppe der Formel (III) steht, oder die beiden Reste X, die beiden Reste Y oder die Reste X und Y jeweils gemeinsam eine Gruppe N-R bilden, worin R eine Gruppe der Formel (III) ist.
- Diejenigen Verbindungen der Formel (I) sind von speziellem Interesse, worin X und Y die Gruppe der Formel (IIa) oder (IIb) sind, worin R&sub1; für Wasserstoff oder Methyl steht, R&sub2; für Wasserstoff oder C&sub1;&submin;&sub4;-Alkyl steht,oder die beiden Reste X und die beiden Reste Y jeweils gemeinsam eine Gruppe N-R bilden, worin R eine Gruppe der Formel (III) ist.
- Beispiele für besonders bevorzugte Verbindungen der Formel (I) sind solche der Formeln
- Die Verbindungen der Formel (I) können nach an sich bekannten Verfahren hergestellt werden, beispielsweise ausgehend von Tetrahydrofuran-2,3,4,5-tetracarbonsäure oder Estern hiervon mit C&sub1;&submin;&sub4;-Alkanolen oder aus dem entsprechenden Dianhydrid.
- Insbesondere wenn X und Y Gruppen der Formel (IIa) und (IIb) sind, können die Verbindungen der Formel (I) hergestellt werden, z.B. durch Umsetzen eines C&sub1;&submin;&sub4;-Alkylesters von Tetrahydrofuran-2,3,4,5-tetracarbonsäure mit Verbindungen der Formel (IVa) oder (IVb)
- in geeigneten Molverhältnissen, vorzugsweise mit einem Überschuß gegenüber der Theorie, in Gegenwart katalytischer Mengen z.B. eines Alkoxids von Ti(IV) oder eines Hydrids, Alkoxids oder Amids von Li, Na oder K.
- Solche Reaktionen können ohne ein Lösungsmittel oder in einem organischen Lösungsmittel, z.B. Toluol oder Xylol, durchgeführt werden, wobei man bei Temperaturen z.B. von 100 bis 200ºC, vorzugsweise 120 bis 180ºC, arbeitet.
- Für die Herstellung der Verbindungen der Formel (I), worin die beiden Reste X, die beiden Reste Y oder die Reste X und Y jeweils gemeinsam eine Gruppe N-R bilden, worin R für eine Gruppe der Formel (III) steht, ist es bevorzugt, in zwei Stufen das Dianhydrid von Tetrahydrofuran-2,3,4,5-tetracarbonsäure mit 2 Mol einer Verbindung der Formel (V)
- umzusetzen.
- In einer ersten Phase, wobei man in Dimethylformamid bei Temperaturen von z.B. 0 bis 60ºC, vorzugsweise 20 bis 40ºC, arbeitet, wird ein Bis-(semiamid) als Zwischenprodukt gebildet, das bei einer weiteren Reaktion cyclisiert wird unter Bildung des Diimids, indem mit Essigsäureanhydrid und Triethylamin bei Temperaturen von z.B. 50 bis 150ºC, vorzugsweise von 70 bis 120ºC, erhitzt wird.
- Tetrahydrofuran-2,3,4,5-tetracarbonsäure und das entsprechende Dianhydrid sind im Handel erhältlich; die entsprechenden Tetraester und auch die Verbindungen der Formel (IVa), (IVb) und (V) können einfach nach bekannten Verfahren hergestellt werden.
- Wie anfangs erwähnt, sind die Verbindungen der Formel (I) im Hinblick auf die Verbesserung der Lichtstabilität, der Wärmestabilität und der Oxidationsstabilität von organischen Materialien, insbesondere synthetischen Polymeren und Copolymeren, in hohem Maße wirksam.
- Beispiele für solche organischen Materialien, die stabilisiert werden können, sind:
- 1. Polymere von Monoolefinen und Diolefinen,z.B.Polypropylen, Polyisobutylen, Polybuten-1, Polymethylpenten-1, Polyisopren oder Polybutadien, sowie Polymere von Cycloolefinen, z.B. Cyclopenten oder Norbornen, Polyethylen (das gegebenenfalls vernetzt sein kann), z.B. Polyethylen hoher Dichte (HDPE), Polyethylen niedriger Dichte (LDPE), lineares Polyethylen niedriger Dichte (LLDPE), verzweigtes Polyethylen niedriger Dichte (BLDPE).
- 2. Mischungen der unter 1) erwähnten Polymeren, z.B. Mischungen von Polypropylen mit Polyisobutylen, Polypropylen mit Polyethylen (z.B. PP/HDPE, PP/LDPE) und Mischungen verschiedener Typen von Polyethylen (z.B. LDPE/HDPE).
- 3. Copolymere von Monoolefinen und Diolefinen miteinander oder mit anderen Vinylmonomeren, wie z.B. - 22. Ungesättigte Polyesterharze, die sich ableiten von Copolyestern gesättigter und ungesättigter Dicarbonsäuren mit mehrwertigen Alkoholen und Vinylverbindungen als Vernetzungsmitteln,und auch Halogen enthaltende Modifikationen hiervon mit niedriger Entflammbarkeit.
- 23. Wärmehärtende Acrylharze, abgeleitet von substituierten Acrylestern, wie Epoxyacrylate, Urethanacrylate oder Polyesteracrylate.
- 24. Alkydharze, Polyesterharze oder Acrylatharze in Mischung mit Melaminharzen, Harnstoffharzen, Polyisocyanaten oder Epoxidharzen als Vernetzungsmitteln.
- 25. Vernetzte Epoxidharze, die sich ableiten von Polyepoxiden, z.B. von Bis-glycidylethern oder von cycloaliphatischen Diepoxiden.
- 26. Natürliche Polymere, wie Cellulose, Kautschuk, Gelatine und Derivate hiervon, die chemisch modifiziert in Polymere-homologer Weise sind, wie Celluloseacetate, Cellulosepropionate und Cellulosebutyrate, oder die Celluloseether, wie Methylcellulose; Kolophoniumarten und ihre Derivate.
- 27. Mischungen der vorstehend erwähnten Polymeren, z.B. PP/EPDM, Polyamid 6/EPDM oder ABS, PVC/EVA, PVC/ABS, PVC/MBS, PC/ABS, PBTP/ABS, PC/ASA, PC/PBT, PVC/CPE, PVC/Acrylate, POM/thermoplastisches PUR, PC/thermoplastisches PUR, POM/Acrylat, POM/MBS, PPE/HIPS, PPE/PA 6.6 und Copolymere, PA/HDPE, PA/PP, PA/PPE.
- 28. Natürlich vorkommende und synthetische organische Materialien, die reine monomere Verbindungen oder Mischungen derartiger Verbindungen sind, z.B.Mineralöle, tierische und pflanzliche Fette, Öle und Wachse oder Öle, Fette und Wachse, basierend auf synthetischen Estern (z.B. Phthalate, Adipate, Phosphate oder Trimellithate), und auch Mischungen von synthetischen Estern mit Mineralölen in beliebigen Gewichtsverhältnissen, wobei diese Materialien als Weichmacher für Polymere oder als Textilspinnöle verwendet werden können, ebenso wie wäßrige Emulsionen derartiger Materialien.
- 29. Wäßrige Emulsionen von natürlichem oder synthetischem Kautschuk, z.B. Naturlatex oder Latices von carboxylierten Styrol/Butadien-Copolymeren.
- Die Verbindungen der Formel (I) sind besonders zur Verbesserung der Lichtstabilität, Wärmestabilität und Oxidationsstabilität von Polyolefinen, insbesondere Polyethylen und Polypropylen, geeignet.
- Die Verbindungen der Formel (I) können in Mischungen mit organischen Materialien in verschiedenartigen Verhältnissen in Abhängigkeit von der Natur des zu stabilisierenden Materials, von der Endverwendung und der Anwesenheit anderer Additive verwendet werden.
- Im allgemeinen ist es zweckmäßig, z.B. 0,01 bis 5 Gew.% der Verbindungen der Formel (I), bezogen auf das Gewicht des zu stabilisierenden Materials, vorzugsweise 0,05 bis 1%, zu verwenden.
- Im allgemeinen können die Verbindungen der Formel (I) den polymeren Materialien vor, während oder nach der Polymerisation oder Vernetzung dieser Materialien zugesetzt werden.
- Die Verbindungen der Formel (I) können in reiner Form oder eingekapselt in Wachsen, Ölen oder Polymeren in die polymeren Materialien eingebracht werden.
- Die Verbindungen der Formel (I) können in die polymeren Materialien eingebracht werden nach verschiedenen Verfahren, wie trockenes Mischen in Form von Pulver oder Naßmischen in Form von Lösungen oder Suspensionen oder auch in Form eines Masterbatch; bei derartigen Verfahren kann das Polymere in Form von Pulver, Granulaten, Lösungen, Suspensionen oder in Form von Latices eingesetzt werden.
- Die mit den Produkten der Formel (I) stabilisierten Materialien können verwendet werden für die Herstellung von Formen, Filmen, Bändern, Monofilamenten, Fasern, Oberflächenbeschichtungen und ähnlichem.
- Gewünschtenfalls können andere übliche Additive für synthetische Polymere, wie Antioxidantien, UV-Absorber, Nickelstabilisatoren, Pigmente, Füllstoffe, Weichmacher, antistatische Mittel, flammfestmachende Mittel, Gleitmittel, Korrosionsinhibitoren und Metalldesaktivatoren, den Mischungen der Verbindungen der Formel (I) mit den organischen Materialien zugesetzt werden.
- Spezielle Beispiele für Additive, die in Mischung mit den Verbindungen der Formel (I) verwendet werden können, sind:

Alkylierte Monophenole, z.B. 2,6-Di-tert.-butyl-4- methylphenol, 2-tert.-Butyl-4,6-dimethylphenol, 2,6-Di-tert.- butyl-4-ethylphenol, 2,6-Di-tert.-butyl-4-n-butylphenol, 2,6-Di-tert.-butyl-4-isobutylphenol, 2,6-Dicyclopentyl-4- methylphenol, 2-(α-Methylcyclohexyl)-4,6-dimethylphenol, 2,6-Dioctadecyl-4-methylphenol, 2,4,6-Tricyclohexylphenol, 2,6-Di-tert.-butyl-4-methoxymethylphenol, 2,6-Di-nonyl-4- methylphenol, 2,4-Dimethyl-6-(1'-methyl-undec-1'-yl)-phenol, 2,4-Dimethyl-6-(1'-methylheptadec-1'-yl)-phenol, 2,4-Dimethyl-6-(1'-methyl-tridec-1'-yl)-phenol und Mischungen hiervon.

- Die Verbindungen der Formel (I) können auch als Stabilisatoren, insbesondere als Lichtstabilisatoren, bei fast sämtlichen, im Bereich der photographischen Reproduktion und anderen Reproduktionstechniken bekannten Materialien, wie z.B. in Research Disclosure 1990, 31429 (Seiten 474 bis 480) beschrieben, eingesetzt werden.
- Verschiedene Beispiele für die Herstellung und Verwendung der Verbindungen der Formel (I) dienen der näheren Erläuterung der vorliegenden Erfindung; diese Beispiele dienen lediglich erläuternden Zwecken und bedeuten keine Einschränkung.
- Eine Lösung von 35,4 g (0,075 Mol) Butyl-tetrahydrofuran- 2,3,4,5-tetracarboxylat, 50,3 g (0,32 Mol) 2,2,6,6-Tetramethyl-4-piperidinol und 1 ml Titan(IV)-isopropoxid in 200 ml Toluol wird 6 Stunden unter Rückfluß erhitzt, wobei das Lösungsmittel und das während der Reaktion freigesetzte Butanol langsam abdestilliert werden.
- Nach Abkühlen auf Raumtemperatur wird die Reaktionsmischung mit 100 ml Toluol verdünnt, mit Wasser gewaschen und über Na&sub2;SO&sub4; dehydratisiert.
- Hiernach wird das Lösungsmittel im Vakuum entfernt und der Rückstand aus Isopropylether kristallisiert. Das erhaltene Produkt besitzt einen Schmelzpunkt von 62 bis 64ºC.
- Analyse für C&sub4;&sub4;H&sub7;&sub6;N&sub4;O&sub9;
- berechnet: C 65,64% H 9,51% N 6,96%
- gefunden : 65,47 9,51 6,93.
- Nach dem in Beispiel 1 beschriebenen Verfahren, jedoch unter Verwendung von 1,2,2,6,6-Pentamethyl-4-piperidinol anstelle von 2,2,6,6-Tetramethyl-4-piperidinol, wird die Verbindung der Formel
- Fp. 140-142ºC (aus einer 4:1 Acetonitril/Wasser-Mischung), erhalten.

- gefunden : 66,86 9,77 6,45.
- Eine Mischung von 35,4 g (0,075 Mol) Butyl-tetrahydrofuran- 2,3,4,5-tetracarboxylat, 93,8 g (0,6 Mol) 2,2,6,6-Tetramethyl-4-piperidinamin und 1 ml Titan(IV)-isopropoxid wird 8 Stunden bei 130ºC erhitzt, wobei das während der Reaktion gebildete Butanol entfernt wird.
- Nach Kühlen auf Raumtemperatur werden 70 ml Methylenchlorid zugegeben und die Mischung wird einige Minuten unter Rückfluß erhitzt.
- Infolge des Abkühlens bildet sich ein Niederschlag, der durch Filtrieren abgetrennt und dann mit 100 ml Acetonitril gewaschen und aus Toluol kristallisiert wird. Das erhaltene Produkt besitzt einen Fp. von 250-252ºC.
- Analyse für C&sub4;&sub4;H&sub8;&sub0;N&sub8;O&sub5;

- Nach dem in Beispiel 3 beschriebenen Verfahren, jedoch unter Verwendung von 1,2,2,6,6-Pentamethyl-4-piperidinamin anstelle von 2,2,6,6-Tetramethyl-4-piperidinamin, wird die Verbindung
- Fp.242-244ºC (aus Hexan), erhalten.

- 31,3 g (0,2 Mol) 2,2,6,6-Tetramethyl-4-piperidinamin werden im Verlauf einer Stunde zu einer Lösung von 21,2 g (0,1 Mol) Dianhydrid der Tetrahydrofuran-2,3,4,5-tetracarbonsäure in 150 ml Dimethylformamid, ohne 35ºC zu überschreiten, zugegeben.
- Nach Beendigung der Zugabe wird die Mischung 2 Stunden bei Raumtemperatur gerührt und der gebildete Niederschlag durch Filtrieren abgetrennt und mit Aceton gewaschen. 400 ml Essigsäureanhydrid und 40,5 g (0,4 Mol) Triethylamin werden zu dem Produkt zugesetzt und die Mischung wird 5 Stunden bei 75ºC erhitzt.
- Während der Reaktion bildet sich ein Niederschlag, der nach Kühlen auf Raumtemperatur durch Filtrieren abgetrennt, mit Aceton gewaschen und schließlich aus Dimethylformamid kristallisiert wird. Das erhaltene Produkt besitzt einen Schmelzpunkt > 310ºC.
- Analyse für C&sub2;&sub6;H&sub4;&sub0;N&sub4;O&sub5;
- berechnet: C 63,91% H 8,25% N 11,47%
- gefunden : 63,53 8,12 11,29.
- 1 g einer jeden der in Tabelle 1 angegebenen Verbindungen, 1 g Tris-(2,4-di-tert.-butylphenyl)-phosphit, 0,5 g Pentaerythrit-tetrakis-3-(3,5-di-tert.-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)- propionat und 1 g Calciumstearat werden in einem langsamen Mischer mit 1000 g Polypropylenpulver von einem Schmelzindex = 2 g/10 min (gemessen bei 230ºC und 2,16 kg) gemischt.
- Die Mischungen werden bei 200 bis 220ºC extrudiert, um Polymerkörner zu ergeben, die hiernach in gestreckte Bänder mit einer Dicke von 50 µm und einer Breite von 2,5 mm unter Verwendung einer Apparatur vom Pilot-Typ [ Leonard-Sumirago (VA) Italien] unter den folgenden Bedingungen übergeführt:
- Extrudertemperatur 210 bis 230ºC
- Kopftemperatur 240 bis 260ºC
- Streckungsverhältnis 1:6
- Die so hergestellten Bänder werden auf einer weißen Karte, montiert in einem 65 WR Weather-O-Meter (ASTM D2565-85) mit einer Schwarztafeltemperatur von 63ºC, belichtet.
- Die verbleibende Festigkeit wird an den Proben nach verschiedenen Belichtungszeiten mit Hilfe eines Dehnungsmessers konstanter Geschwindigkeit bestimmt; die Belichtungszeit in Stunden (T&sub5;&sub0;), die zur Halbierung der anfänglichen Festigkeit erforderlich ist, wird hiernach berechnet.
- Unter den gleichen Bedingungen wie vorstehend, jedoch ohne Zusatz der erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen, hergestellte Bänder werden zu Vergleichszwecken belichtet. Tabelle 1 zeigt die erhaltenen Ergebnisse. Tabelle 1
- 1 g der in Tabelle 2 angegebenen Verbindung, 0,5 g Octadecyl- 3-(3,5-di-tert.-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)-propionat, 1 g Tris- (2,4-di-tert.-butylphenyl)-phosphit und 1 g Calciumstearat werden in einem langsamen Mischer mit 1000 g Polypropylenpulver von einem Schmelzindex = 2,1 g/10 min (gemessen bei 230ºC und 2,16 kg) gemischt.
- Die Mischungen werden zweimal bei 200-220ºC zur Erzielung eines Polymergranulats extrudiert, das hiernach in Platten mit einer Dicke von 1 mm durch Druckverformung während 6 Minuten bei 230ºC übergeführt wird. Die Platten werden dann mit Hilfe einer DIN 53451-Form ausgestanzt, und die erhaltenen Proben werden in einem bei einer Temperatur von 135º C gehaltenen Ofen mit Zwangsbelüftung ausgesetzt.
- Die Proben werden in Abständen durch Falten um 180º untersucht, um die Zeit (Stunden) zu bestimmen, die bis zum Bruch erforderlich ist.
- Unter den vorstehend angegebenen Bedingungen, jedoch ohne Zusatz der erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen hergestellte Proben werden zu Vergleichszwecken ausgesetzt. Die erhaltenen Ergebnisse sind in Tabelle 2 angegeben. Tabelle 2

Reste X, die beiden Reste Y oder die Reste X und Y jeweils
gemeinsam eine Gruppe N-R bilden, worin R eine Gruppe der
Formel (III) ist.
2. Verbindung der Formel (I) gemäß Anspruch 1, worin
R&sub1; für Wasserstoff, C&sub1;&submin;&sub4;-Alkyl, OH, C&sub6;&submin;&sub1;&sub2;-Alkoxy,
C&sub5;&submin;&sub8;-Cycloalkoxy, Allyl, Benzyl oder Acetyl steht.
3. Verbindung der Formel (I) gemäß Anspruch 1, worin
X und Y, die gleich oder voneinander verschieden sein
können, für eine Gruppe der Formel (IIa) oder (IIb) stehen,
worin R&sub2; Wasserstoff, C&sub1;&submin;&sub1;&sub2;-Alkyl, C&sub2;&submin;&sub3;-Alkyl, substituiert
an der 2- oder 3-Stellung durch C&sub1;&submin;&sub4;-Alkoxy, durch Di-(C&sub1;&submin;&sub4;-
alkyl)-amino oder durch eine 1-Pyrrolidyl-,
1-Piperidyl- oder 4-Morpholinylgruppe; C&sub5;&submin;&sub8;-Cycloalkyl, das
unsubstituiert oder mono-, di- oder trisubstituiert ist durch C&sub1;&submin;&sub4;-
Alkyl; Benzyl, das unsubstituiert oder mono-, di- oder
trisubstituiert durch C&sub1;&submin;&sub4;-Alkyl ist; Tetrahydrofurfuryl oder
eine Gruppe der Formel (III) bedeutet, oder die beiden Reste
X, die beiden Reste Y oder die Reste X und Y jeweils
gemeinsam eine Gruppe N-R bilden, worin R für eine Gruppe der
Formel (III) steht.
4. Verbindung der Formel (I) gemäß Anspruch 1, worin
X und Y, die gleich oder voneinander verschieden sein
können, für eine Gruppe der Formel (IIa) oder (IIb) stehen,
worin R&sub2; Wasserstoff, C&sub1;&submin;&sub1;&sub0;-Alkyl, C&sub2;&submin;&sub3;-Alkyl, substituiert
an der 2- oder 3-Stellung durch Methoxy, durch Ethoxy, durch
Dimethylamino, durch Diethylamino oder durch 4-Morpholinyl;
Cyclohexyl, das unsubstituiert oder mono-, di- oder
trisubstituiert ist durch C&sub1;&submin;&sub4;-Alkyl; Benzyl, Tetrahydrofurfuryl
oder eine Gruppe der Formel (III) bedeutet, oder die beiden
Reste X, die beiden Reste Y oder die Reste X und Y jeweils
gemeinsam eine Gruppe N-R bilden, worin R für eine Gruppe
der Formel (III) steht.
5. Verbindung der Formel (I) gemäß Anspruch 1, worin
X und Y, die gleich oder voneinander verschieden sein
können, für eine Gruppe der Formel (IIa) oder (IIb) stehen,
worin R&sub2; Wasserstoff, C&sub1;&submin;&sub8;-Alkyl, Cyclohexyl, Benzyl oder
eine Gruppe der Formel (III) bedeutet, oder die beiden Reste
X, die beiden Reste Y oder die Reste X und Y jeweils
gemeinsam eine Gruppe N-R bilden, worin R für eine Gruppe der
Formel (III) steht.
6. Verbindung der Formel (I) gemäß Anspruch 1, worin
X und Y für eine Gruppe der Formel (IIa) oder (IIb) stehen,
worin R&sub1; Wasserstoff oder Methyl bedeutet, R&sub2; Wasserstoff
oder C&sub1;&submin;&sub4;-Alkyl darstellt, oder die beiden Reste X und die
beiden Reste Y jeweils gemeinsam eine Gruppe N-R bilden,
worin R für eine Gruppe der Formel (III) steht.
7. Verbindung gemäß Anspruch 1 der Formel
8. Zusammensetzung, umfassend ein organisches Material,
das einem durch Licht, Wärme und Oxidation herbeigeführten
Abbau unterliegt,und zumindest eine Verbindung der Formel
(I) gemäß Anspruch 1.
9. Zusammensetzung gemäß Anspruch 8, worin das
organische Material ein synthetisches Polymeres ist.
10. Zusammensetzung gemäß Anspruch 9, umfassend andere
übliche Additive für synthetische Polymere zusätzlich zu der
Verbindung der Formel (I).
11. Zusammensetzung gemäß Anspruch 8, worin das
organische Material ein Polyolefin ist.
12. Zusammensetzung gemäß Anspruch 8, worin das
organische Material Polyethylen oder Polypropylen ist.
13. Verwendung einer Verbindung der Formel (I) gemäß
Anspruch 1 zur Stabilisierung eines organischen Materials
gegenüber einem durch Licht, Wärme und Oxidation
herbeigeführten Abbau.
