Description
- Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft neue Piperidintriazinverbindungen, ihre Verwendung als Lichtstabilisatoren, Wärmestabilisatoren und Oxidationsstabilisatoren für organische Materialien, insbesondere synthetische Polymere, sowie damit stabilisierte organische Materialien.
- Es ist bekannt, daß synthetische Polymere Gegenstand des fotooxidativen Abbaus sind, wenn sie Sonnenlicht oder anderen Quellen ultravioletten Lichtes in Gegenwart von Sauerstoff ausgesetzt sind.
- Für ihre Verwendung in der Praxis ist es daher erforderlich, ihnen geeignete Lichtstabilisatoren zuzusetzen, wie bestimmte Derivate von Benzophenon oder Benzotriazol, Nickelkomplexe, substituierte Benzoesäureester, Alkylidenmalonate, Cyanacrylate, aromatische oxamide oder sterisch gehinderte Amine.
- Über einige Triazin-oligomere, die 2,2,6,6-Tetramethyl-4- piperidylgruppen enthalten und über deren Verwendüng als Stabilisatoren für synthetische Polymere wurde berichtet in US-A- 4086204, US-A-4315859, US-A-4331586, US-A-4335242 und US-A- 4477615, EP-A-117229 und JP-B-63-196654.
- Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft neue Piperidintriazinverbindungen der Formel (I)
- worin R&sub1; C&sub1;-C&sub8;-Alkyl, C&sub3;-C&sub6;-Alkenyl, C&sub7;-C&sub9;-Phenylalkyl, C&sub7;-C&sub9;- Phenylalkyl mono-, di- oder trisubstituiert am Phenyl durch C&sub1;-C&sub4;-Alkyl, C&sub1;-C&sub8;-Acyl oder (C&sub1;-C&sub8;-Alkoxy)-carbonyl ist, A ist eine Gruppe der Formel (IIa) oder (IIb)
- worin R&sub3; Wasserstoff, C&sub1;-C&sub8;-Alkyl, C&sub5;-C&sub8;-Cycloalkyl das unsubstituiert oder mono-, di- oder trisubstituiert ist durch C&sub1;-C&sub4;- Alkyl, C&sub7;-C&sub9;-Phenylalkyl, C&sub7;-C&sub9;-Phenylalkyl mono-, di- oder trisubstituiert am Phenyl durch C&sub1;-C&sub4;-Alkyl, oder eine Gruppe der Formel (III)
- R&sub5; ist C&sub1;-C&sub8;-Alkyl, O-, OH, NO, CH&sub2;CN, C&sub1;-C&sub1;&sub2;-Alkyloxy, C&sub5;-C&sub1;&sub2;- Cycloalkoxy, C&sub3;-C&sub6;-Alkenyl, C&sub7;-C&sub9;-Phenylalkyl, C&sub7;-C&sub9;-Phenylalkyl mono-, di- oder trisubstituiert am Phenyl durch C&sub1;-C&sub4;-Alkyl, oder C&sub1;-C&sub8;-Acyl, und R&sub4; ist C&sub2;-C&sub1;&sub2;-Alkylen, Cyclohexylen, Cyclohexylendimethylen, Methylendicyclohexylen, Xylylen oder C&sub4;- C&sub1;&sub2;-Alkylen unterbrochen durch 1, 2 oder 3 Sauerstoffatoine oder durch eine Gruppe > N-CH&sub3;, wobei p und r gleich oder verschieden sein können und ganze Zahlen von 2 bis 6 sind, und q ist 0 oder 1, und R&sub2; ist OH, ONa, OK, C&sub1;-C&sub8;-Alkoxy, C&sub3;-C&sub6;-Alkenyloxy, C&sub7;-C&sub9;-Phenylalkoxy, C&sub1;-C&sub8;-Acyloxy oder eine Gruppe R&sub1;-A-, wobei R&sub1; und A die oben genannte Bedeutung haben, oder R&sub2; kann auch eine Gruppe der Formel (IV)
- sein, worin R&sub1; und A die abige Bedeutung haben, und wenn R&sub2; eine Gruppe der Formel (IV) ist, kann die Endgruppe R&sub1;, die außerhalb der Klammern in der Formel (I) ist, zusatzlich eine Gruppe
- sein, worin R&sub1; und A die obige Bedeutung haben, und n ist eine Zahl von 1 bis 20,
- mit der Maßgabe, daß Verbindungen der Formel (I) ausgeschlossen sind, worin n die Bedeutung 1 hat, R&sub1; ist Methyl, A ist eine Gruppe der Formel (IIa), R&sub3; ist eine Gruppe der Formel (III), R&sub4; ist C&sub2;-C&sub1;&sub2;-Alkylen, und R&sub2; ist eine Gruppe der Formel -A-R&sub1;.
- Beispiele für C&sub1;-C&sub8;-Alkyl sind Methyl, Ethyl, Propyl, Butyl, 2-Butyl, Isobutyl, Pentyl, 2-Pentyl, Hexyl, Heptyl, Octyl und 2-Ethylhexyl. C&sub1;-C&sub4;-Alkyl, insbesandere Methyl, ist bevorzugt.
- Beispiele für Alkoxy mit nicht mehr als 12 Kohlenstoffatomen sind Methoxy, Ethoxy, Propoxy, Butoxy, Isobutoxy, Pentoxy, Isopentoxy, Hexoxy, Heptoxy, Octoxy, Decyloxy und Dodecyloxy. Heptoxy und Octoxy sind bevorzugt.
- Beispiele für (C&sub1;-C&sub8;-Alkoxy)carbonyl sind Methoxycarbonyl, Ethoxycarbonyl, Propoxycarbonyl, Butoxycarbonyl, Pentoxycarbonyl, Hexoxycarbonyl und Octoxycarbonyl.
- Beispiele für C&sub5;-C&sub8;-Cycloalkyl, das unsubstituiert oder mono-, di- oder trisubstituiert ist durch C&sub1;-C&sub4;-Alkyl, sind Cyclopentyl, Methylcyclopentyl, Cyclohexyl, Methylcyclohexyl, Dimethylcyclohexyl, Trimethylcyclohexyl, t-Butylcyclohexyl, Cycloheptyl und Cyclooctyl. Cyclohexyl ist bevorzugt.
- Repräsentative Beispiele für C&sub5;-C&sub1;&sub2;-Cycloalkoxy bei R&sub5; sind Cyclopentoxy, Cyclohexoxy, Cycloheptoxy, Cyclooctoxy, Cyclodecyloxy und Cyclododecyloxy. Cyclopentoxy und Cyclohexoxy sind bevorzugt.
- Beispiele für C&sub3;-C&sub6;-Alkenyl sind Allyl, 2-Methylallyl, Butenyl, Pentenyl und Hexenyl. Allyl ist bevorzugt.
- Beispiele für C&sub3;-C&sub6;-Alkenyloxy sind Allyloxy, 2-Methylallyloxy, Butenyloxy, Pentenyloxy und Hexenyloxy.
- C&sub7;-C&sub9;-Phenylalkyl bei R&sub1;, R&sub3; und R&sub5; kann unsubstituiert sein oder mono-, di- oder trisubstituiert am Phenyl durch C&sub1;-C&sub4;-Alkyl, und ist vorzugsweise Benzyl, Methylbenzyl, Dimethylbenzyl, t-Butylbenzyl oder 2-Phenylethyl. Benzyl ist besonders bevorzugt.
- Ein Beispiel für C&sub7;-C&sub9;-Phenylalkoxy ist Benzyloxy.
- Beispiele für C&sub1;-C&sub8;-Acyl sind Formyl, Acetyl, Propionyl, Isobutyryl, Pentanoyl, Hexanoyl, Heptanoyl, Octanoyl, Benzoyl, Acryloyl und Crotonoyl. C&sub1;-C&sub8;-Alkanoyl, C&sub3;-C&sub8;-Alkenoyl oder Benzoyl sind bevorzugt. Besonders bevorzugt ist Acetyl.
- Beispiele für C&sub1;-C&sub8;-Acyloxy sind Formyloxy, Acetyloxy, Propionyloxy, Butyryloxy, Isobutyryloxy, Pentanoyloxy; Hexanoyloxy, Heptanoyloxy, Octanoyloxy, Benzoyloxy, Acryloyloxy und Crotonoyloxy. C&sub1;-C&sub3;-Alkanoyloxy, C&sub3;-C&sub8;-Alkenoyloxy und Benzoyloxy sind bevorzugt.
- Repräsentative Beispiele für C&sub2;-C&sub1;&sub2;-Alkylen bei R&sub4; sind Ethylen, Propylen, Trimethylen, Tetramethylen, Pentamethylen, 2,2-Dimethyltrimethylen, Hexamethylen, Trimethylhexamethylen, Decamethylen und Dodecamethylen. C&sub2;-C&sub6;-Alkylen ist bevorzugt.
- Repräsentative Beispiele für C&sub4;-C&sub1;&sub2;-Alkylen für R&sub4;, unterbrochen durch 1,2 oder 3 Sauerstoffatome, sind 4-Oxaheptan- 1,7-diyl, 4,7-Dioxadecan-1,10-diyl, 4,9-Dioxadodecan-1,12-diyl und 3,6,9-Trioxaundecan-1,11-diyl; 4,7-Dioxadecan-1,10-diyl und 4,9-Dioxadodecan-1,12-diyl sind bevorzugt.

- Solche Verbindungen der Formel (I) sind von besonderem Interesse, worin R&sub1; die Bedeutung Methyl, Acetyl oder (C&sub1;-C&sub2;- Alkoxy)-carbonyl hat, A ist eine Gruppe der Formel (IIa) oder (IIb), worin R&sub3; Wasserstoff, Methyl, Cyclohexyl oder eine Gruppe der Formel (III) ist, R&sub4; ist C&sub2;-C&sub6;-Alkylen oder C&sub4;-C&sub1;&sub0;- Alkylen, unterbrochen durch 1 oder 2 Sauerstoffatome, p und r, die gleich oder verschieden sein können, sind 2 oder 3, und q ist Null oder 1, und R&sub2; ist OH, ONa, OK, Methoxy, Acetoxy, eine Gruppe R&sub1;-A- oder eine Gruppe der Formel (IV), und n ist eine Zahl von 1 bis 8.
- Solche Verbindungen der Formel (I) sind von besonderem Interesse, in denen R&sub1; die Bedeutung Methyl, Acetyl oder (C&sub1;- C&sub2;-Alkoxy)-carbonyl hat, A ist eine Gruppe der Formel (IIa) oder (IIb), worin R&sub3; Wasserstoff, Methyl oder eine Gruppe der Formel (III) ist, R&sub5; ist Methyl oder Acetyl, R&sub4; ist C&sub3;-C&sub6;-Alkylen oder C&sub8;-C&sub1;&sub0;-Alkylen, unterbrachen durch 2 Sauerstoffatome, p und r, die gleich oder verschieden sein können, sind 2 oder 3, und q ist 0 oder 1, und R&sub2; ist eine Gruppe R&sub1;-A- oder eine Gruppe der Formel (IV), und n ist eine Zahl von 1 bis 5.
- Bevorzugte Beispiele von Verbindungen der Formel (I) sind solche, die wiederkehrende Einheiten der Formel (V) enthalten, worin R&sub4;' Trimethylen, Hexamethylen oder 4,7-Dioxadecan-1,10-diyl ist.
- Die Verbindungen der Formel (I) können durch an sich bekannte Verfahren hergestellt werden, zum Beispiel durch Reaktion einer Verbindung der Formel (I), worin R&sub1;=H ist, mit einer Verbindung der Formel (VI)
- R&sub1;-X (VI)
- worin R&sub1; wie oben definiert ist, und X ist Cl, Br oder I.
- Wenn R&sub1; und R&sub5; Methyl ist, werden die Verbindungen der Formel (I) vorzugsweise hergestellt durch Reaktion der entsprechenden Verbindungen der Formel (I), in denen R&sub1; und R&sub5; Wasserstoff ist, mit Formaldehyd und Ameisensäure, oder mit Formaldehyd und Wasserstoff in Gegenwart eines Hydrierungskatalysators wie Palladium oder Platin.
- Wenn R&sub1; und R&sub5; Acyl ist, ist es möglich, das entsprechende Anhydrid als Reagenz zu verwenden.
- Die Verbindungen der Formel (I) mit R&sub1; = H können wie zum Beispiel in US-A-4086204 hergestellt werden durch Reaktion von Cyanurchlorid mit einer Verbindung der Formel (VIIa) oder (VIIb)
- in einem molaren Verhältnis von Cyanurchlarid/Verbindung (VIIa) oder (VIIb) von 1 : 2,5 bis 1 : 2, vorzugsweise 1 : 2,4 bis 1 2,1 unter Einsatz von vorzugsweise einem aromatischen Kohlenwasserstofflösungsmittel wie Toluol, Xylol oder Dimethylbenzol.
- Die Substitutionsreaktionen werden vorzugsweise als Eintopfreaktionen durchgeführt unter direkter Verwendung des Reaktionsgemisches, das bei der Herstellung der Verbindungen der Formel (I) mit R&sub1; = H erhalten wird bei Temperaturen zwischen z.B. 0 ºC und 150º C, vorzugsweise zwischen 10 ºC und 120 º C.
- Die in den verschiedenen Reaktionen freigesetzte Halogenwasserstoffsäure wird vorzugsweise mit einer anorganischen Base neutralisiert, zum Beispiel mit Natrium- oder Kaliumhydroxid oder -carbonat mit einer Menge, die zumindest der freigesetzten Saure äquivalent ist.
- In Abhängigkeit von der Art und den molaren Mengen des für die Herstellung der vorliegenden Verbindungen eingesetzten Reagenzien kann das erhaltene Produkt ein Gemisch von Verbindungen der Formel (I) mit unterschiedlichen Endgruppen R&sub2; sein. Dieses Gemisch kann getrennt werden, gewünschtenfalls mit Hilfe von beispielsweise chromatografischen Verfahren, insbesondere mittels Hochdruck-Flüssigchromatografie (HPLC).
- Eine bevorzugte Ausfuhrungsform der vorliegenden Erfindung betrifft auch Verbindungen der Formel (I), die erhaltlich sind durch Reaktion von Cyanurchlorid zuerst mit einer Verbindung der Formel (VIIa) oder (VIIb) und anschließend durch Reaktion des erhaltenen Produktes mit einer Verbindung der Formel (VI).
- Wie oben ausgeffihrt, sind die Verbindungen der Formel (I) hochwirksam bei Verbesserung der Lichtstabilität, Wärmestabilität und Oxidationsstabilitat von organischen Materialien, insbesondere von synthetischen Polymeren und Copolymeren.
- Beispiele derartiger organischer Materialien, die stabilisiert werden können, sind:
- 1. Polymere von Monoolefinen und Diolefinen zum Beispiel Polypropylen, Polyisobutylen, Polybuten-1, Polymethylpenten-1, Polyisopren oder Polybutadien, sowie Polymere von Cycloolefinen, z. B. von Cyclopenten oder Norbornen, Polyethylen (das gegebenenfalls vernetzt sein kann),zum Beispiel Polyethylen mit hoher Dichte (HDPE), Polyethylen mit niedriger Dichte (LDPE) und lineares Polyethylen mit niedriger Dichte (LLDPE).
- 2. Gemische der unter 1) genannten Polymeren, zum Beispiel Gemische von Polypropylen mit Polyisobutylen, Polypropylen mit Polyethylen (zum Beispiel PP/HDPE, PP/LDPE) und Gemische unterschiedlicher Typen von Polyethylen (zum Beispiel LDPE/HDPE)
- 3. Copolymere von Monoolefinen und Diolefinen miteinander oder mit anderen Vinylmonomeren, wie zum Beispiel Ethylen/Propylen, lineares Polyethylen mit niedriger Dichte (LLDPE) und dessen Gemische mit Polyethylen mit niedriger Dichte (LDPE), Propylen/Buten-1, Ethylen/Hexen, Ethylen/Ethylpenten, Ethylen/Hepten, Ethylen/Octen, Propylen/Isobutylen, Ethylen/Buten-1, Propylen/Butadien, Isobutylen/Isopren, Ethylen/Alkylacrylate, Ethylen/Alkylmethacrylate, Ethylen/Vinylacetat oder Ethylen/Acrylsäure-Copolymere und deren Salze (Ionomere) und Terpolymere von Ethylen mit Propylen und einem Dien, wie Hexadien, Dicyclopentadien oder Ethyliden-Narbornen; sowie Gemische von solchen Copolymeren und deren Mischungen mit unter 1) oben aufgeführten Polymeren, zum Beispiel Polypropylen/Ethylen- Propylen-Copolymere, LDPE/EVA, LDPE/EAA, LLDPE/EVA und LLDPE/EAA.
- 3a. Statistische oder alternierende Copolymere von α-Olefinen mit Kohlenmonoxid.
- 3b. Kohlenwasserstoffharze (zum Beispiel C&sub5;-C&sub9;) und hydrierte Modifikationen davon (zum Beispiel Klebrigmacher).
- 4. Polystyrol, Poly-(p-methylstyrol), Poly-(α-Methylstyrol).
- 5. Copolymere von Styrol oder α-Methylstyrol mit Dienen oder Acrylsaurederivaten, wie zum Beispiel Styrol/Acrylnitril, Styrol/Alkylmethacrylat, Styrol/Maleinsäureanhydrid, Styrol/Butadien/Ethylacrylat, Styrol/Acrylnitril/Methylacrylat; Gemische mit haher Schlagfestigkeit aus Styrolcopolymeren und einem anderen Polymeren wie zum Beispiel aus einem Polyacrylat, einem Dien-Polymeren oder einem Ethylen/Propylen/Dien- Terpolymeren; und Block-Copolymere von Styrol, wie zum Beispiel Styrol/Butadien/Styrol, Styrol/Isopren/Styrol, Styrol/Ethylen/Butylen/Styrol oder Styrol/Ethylen/Propylen/Styrol.
- 6. Pfropf-Copolymere von Styrol oder α-Methylstyrol, wie zum Beispiel Styrol auf Polybutadien, Styrol auf Polybutadien- Styrol oder Polybutadien-Acrylnitril, Styrol und Acrylnitril (oder Methacrylnitril) auf Polybutadien, Styrol und Maleinsäureanhydrid oder Maleimid auf Polybutadien; Styrol, Acrylnitril und Maleinsäureanhydrid oder Maleimid auf Polybutadien, Styrol, Acrylnitril und Methylmethacrylat auf Polybutadien; Styrol und Alkylacrylate oder -methacrylate auf Polybutadien, Styrol und Acrylnitril auf Ethylen/Propylen/Dien-Terpolymeren, Styrol und Acrylnitril auf Polyacrylaten oder Polymethacrylaten, Styrol und Acrylnitril auf Acrylat/Butadien-Copolymeren sowie Gemischen davon mit den unter 5) aufgefuhrten Copolymeren, zum Beispiel den Gemischen, die als ABS-, MBS-, ASA- und AES-Polymere bekannt sind.
- 7. Halogen-enthaltende Polymere, wie Polychloropren, chlorierte Kautschuke, chloriertes oder sulfochloriertes Polyethylen, Epichlorhydrin-Homo- und Copolymere, Polymere von Halogenenthaltenden Vinylverbindungen wie zum Beispiel Polyvinylchlorid, Polyvinylidenchlorid, Polyvinylfluorid, Polyvinylidenfluorid sowie Copolymere davon, wie zum Beispiel Vinylchlorid/Vinylidenchlorid, Vinylchlorid/Vinylacetat oder Vinylidenchlorid/Vinylacetat-Copolymere und Ethylen/chloriertes Ethylen-Copolymere.
- 8. Polymere, die abgeleitet sind von α,β-ungesättigten Säuren und Derivaten davon, wie Polyacrylate und Polymethacrylate, Polyacrylamid und Polyacrylnitril.
- 9. Copolymere der unter 8) genannten Monomere miteinander ader mit anderen ungesättigten Monomeren, wie zum Beispiel Acrylnitril/Butadien, Acrylnitril/Alkylacrylat, Acrylnitril/Alkoxyalkylacrylat oder Acrylnitril/Vinylhalogenid-Copolymere oder Acrylnitril/Alkylmethacrylat/Butadien-Terpolymere.
- 10. Polymere, die von ungesättigten Alkoholen und Aminen abgeleitet sind oder Acylderivate davon oder Acetale davon, wie Polyvinylalkohol, Polyvinylacetat, Polyvinylstearat, Polyvinylbenzoat, Polyvinylmaleat, Polyvinylbutyral, Polyallylphthalat oder Polyallyl-melamin; sowie deren Copolymere mit den unter 1) oben genannten Olefinen.
- 11. Homopolymere und Copolymere von cyclischen Ethern, wie Polyalkylenglycole, Polyethylenoxid, Polypropylenoxid oder Copolymere davon mit Bis-glycidylethern.
- 12. Polyacetale wie Polyoxymethylen und Polyoxymethylene, die Ethylenoxid als Co-Monomeres enthalten, Polyacetale modifiziert mit thermoplastischen Polyurethanen, Acrylaten oder MBS.
- 13. Polyphenylenoxide und -sulfide und Gemische von Polyphenylenoxiden mit Polystyrol oder Polyamiden.
- 14. Polyurethane, die abgeleitet sind von Polyethern, Polyestern oder Polybutadienen mit terminal en Hydroxygruppen auf der einen Seite und aliphatischen oder aromatischen Polyisocyanaten auf der anderen Seite, sowie Vorläufer davon (Polyisocyanate, Polyole oder Präpolymere).
- 15. Polyamide und Copolyamide, die abgeleitet sind von Diaminen und Dicarbonsäuren und/oder von Aminocarbonsäuren oder den entsprechenden Lactamen, wie Polyamid 4, Polyamid 6/6, Polyamid 6/10, 6/9, 6/12 und 4/6, Polyamid 11, Polyamid 12, aromatische Polyamide erhalten durch Kondensation von m-Xyloldiamin und Adipinsäure; Polyamide hergestellt aus Hexamethylendiamin und Isophthalsäure und/oder Terephthalsäure und gegebenfalls einem Elastomeren als Modifikationsmittel, zum Beispiel Poly- 2,4,4-trimethylhexamethylen-terephthalamid oder Poly-m-phenylen-iso-phthalamid. Weiterhin Copolymere der zuvor genannten Polyamide mit Polyolefinen, Olefin-Copolymeren, Ionomeren oder chemisch gebundenen oder gepfropften Elastomeren; oder mit Polyethern, wie zum Beispiel mit Polyethylenglycolen, Polypropylenglycolen oder Polytetramethylenglycolen. Polyamide oder Copolyamide modifiziert mit EPDM oder ABS. Polyamide kondensiert während der Herstellung (RTM-Polyamidsysteme).
- 16. Polyharnstoffe, Polyimide und Polyamid-imide.
- 17. Polyester, die abgeleitet sind von Dicarbonsäuren und Diolen und/oder von Hydroxycarbonsäuren oder den entsprechenden Lactonen, wie Polyethylenterephthalat, Polybutylenterephthalat, Poly-1,4-dimethylolcyclohexanterephthalat, Poly[2,2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-propan]terephthalat und Polyhydroxybenzoate sowie Block-Copolyether-ester abgeleitet von Polyethern mit Hydroxy-Endgruppen.

- 19. Polysulfone, Polyethersulfone und Polyetherketane.
- 20. Vernetzte Polymere, die von Aldehyden auf der einen Seite und von Phenolen, Harnstoffen und Melaminen auf der anderen Seite abgeleitet sind, wie Phenol/Formaldehyd-Harze, Harnstoff/Formaldehyd-Harze und Melamin/Formaldehyd-Harze.
- 21. Trocknende und nichttrocknende Alkydharze.
- 22. Ungesattigte Polyesterharze, die abgeleitet sind von Copolyestern von gesättigten und ungesättigten Dicarbonsäuren mit mehrwertigen Alkoholen und Vinylverbindungen als Vernetzungsmittel, sawie auch die halogenhaltigen Modifikationen davon mit niedriger Entflammbarkeit.
- 23. Thermohärtende Acrylharze, abgeleitet von substituierten Acrylsäureestern, wie Epoxy-acrylate, Urethan-acrylate ader Silicon-acrylate.
- 24. Alkydharze, Polyesterharze oder Acrylatharze im Gemisch mit Melaminharzen, Harnstoffharzen, Polyisacyanaten oder Epoxidharzen als Vernetzungsmittel.
- 25. Vernetzte Epoxidharze, die abgeleitet sind von Polyepoxiden, wie zum Beispiel von Bis-glycidylethern oder von cycloaliphatischen Diepoxiden.
- 26. Natürliche Polymere wie Cellulose, Kautschuk, Gelatine und Derivate davon, die in Homopolymerweise chemisch modifiziert sind, wie Celluloseacetate, Cellulosepropionate und Cellulosebutyrate oder Celluloseether wie Methylcellulose; Terpentinharze und deren Derivate.
- 27. Gemische von Polymeren, wie oben genannt, zum Beispiel PP/EPDM, Polyamid 6/EPDM oder ABS, PVC/EVA, PVC/ABS, PVC/MBS, PC/ASA, PC/PBT, PVC/CPE, PVC/Acrylate, POM/thermoplastisches PUR, PC/thermoplastisches PUR, POM/Acrylat, POM/MBS, PPE/HIPS, PPE/PA 6/6 und Copolymere, PA/HDPE, PA/PP, PA/PPE.
- 28. Natürlich vorkommende und synthetische organische Materialien, die reine monomere Verbindungen oder Gemische von solchen Verbindungen sind, zum Beispiel Mineralöle, tierische und pflanzliche Fette, Öle und Wachse, oder Öle, Fette und Wachse basierend auf synthetischen Estern (z. B. Phthalate, Adipate, Phosphate oder Trimellitate) und auch Gemische von synthetischen Estern mit Mineralölen in beliebigen Gewichtsverhältnissen, wobei diese Materialien als Weichmacher für Polymere oder als textile Spinnöle verwendet werden können, sowie die wäßrigen Emulsianen derartiger Materialien.
- 29. Wäßrige Emulsionen von natürlichen oder synthetischen Kautschuken, z. B. Naturlatex oder Latices von carboxylierten Styrol/Butadien-Copolymeren.
- Die Verbindungen der Formel (I) sind besonders geeignet zur Verbesserung der Lichtstabilität, Wärmestabilität und Oxidationsstabilität von Polyolefinen, speziell von Polyethylen und Polypropylen.
- Die Verbindungen der Formel (I) können in Gemischen mit organischen Materialien in verschiedenen Anteilen verwendet werden in Abhängigkeit von der Art des zu stabilisierenden Materials, von dem Endverbrauch und von dem Vorhandensein anderer Additive.
- Im allgemeinen ist es geeignet, zum Beispiel 0,01 bis 5 Gewichts-% der Verbindungen der Formel (I) zu verwenden, im Verhältnis zum Gewicht des zu stabilisierenden Materials, vorzugsweise von 0,05 bis 1 %.
- Die Verbindungen der Formel (I) konnen in die polymeren Materialien mit Hilfe verschiedener Verfahren eingearbeitet werden, wie Trockenmischen in Form von Pulver oder Feuchtmischen in Form von Lösungen oder Suspensionen oder auch in Form einer Vormischung; bei derartigen Arbeiten kann das Polymere in Form von Pulver, Granulat, Lösungen, Suspensionen oder in Form von Latices verwendet werden.
- Im allgemeinen können die Verbindungen der Formel (I) den polymeren Materialien vor, während oder nach der Polymerisation oder der Vernetzung den Materialien zugesetzt werden.
- Die Verbindungen der Formel (I) können in das stabilisierende Material in reiner Form oder umhüllt in Wachsen, Ölen oder Polymeren eingearbeitet werden.
- Die mit den Produkten der Formel (I) stabilisierten Materialien können zur Herstellung von Formteilen, Folien, Bändern, Monofilgarn, Oberflächenbeschichtungen und ähnlichem verwendet werden.
- Gewünschtenfalls können andere übliche Additive für synthetische Polymere, wie Antioxidationsmittel, UV-Absorptionsmittel, Nickelstabilisatoren, Pigmente, Fullstoffe, Weichmacher, antistatische Mittel, Flammschutzmittel, Gleitmittel, Korrosionsinhibitoren und Metalldesaktivatoren den Gemischen der Verbindungen der Formel (I) mit den organischen Materialien zugesetzt werden.
- Besondere Beispiele von Additiven, die in einem Gemisch mit den Verbindungen der Formel (I) verwendet werden können, sind:
- 2,6-Di-tert.butyl-4- methylphenol, 2-tert.Butyl-4,6-dimethylphenol, 2,6-Di-tert.butyl-4-ethylphenol, 2,6-Di-tert.butyl-4-n-butylphenol, 2,6-Di- tert.butyl-4-i-butylphenol, 2,6-Dicyclopentyl-4-methylphenol, 2-(α-Methylcyclohexyl)-4,6-dimethylphenol, 2,6-Di-octadecyl-4- methylphenol, 2,4,6-Tricyclohexylphenol, 2,6-Di-tert.butyl-4- methoxymethylphenol, 2,6-Dinonyl-4-methylphenol.
- 2,6-Di-tert.butyl-4- methoxyphenol, 2,5-Di-tert.butylhydrochinon, 2,5-Di-tert.amylhydrochinon, 2,6-Diphenyl-4-octadecyloxyphenol.
- 2,2'-Thio- bis-(6-tert.butyl-4-methylphenol), 2,2'-Thio-bis-(4-octylphenol), 4,4'-Thio-bis-(6-tert.butyl-3-methylphenol), 4,4'-Thio-bis-(6-tert.butyl-2-methylphenol).

- Die Verbindungen der Formel (I) können auch als Stabilisatoren verwendet werden, speziell als Lichtstabilisatoren für nahezu alie Materialien, die aus dem Stand der Technik für die fotografische Reproduktion und andere Reproduktionstechniken bekannt sind, wie z.B. beschrieben in Research Disclosure 1990, 31429 (Seiten 474 bis 480).
- Die folgenden Beispiele werden zur Erläuterung der vorliegenden Erfindung wiedergegeben, jedoch ohne diese einzuschränken
- A) Eine Lösung von 8,4 g (0,1 Mol) Cyanurchlorid in 170 ml Xylol wurde bei Umgebungstemperatur zu einer Lösung von 82,8 g (0,21 Mol) von N,N'-Bis(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl)-1,6-hexandiamin in 100 ml Xylol gegeben.
- Die Zugabe erfolgte langsam, so daß die Temperatur sich auf etwa 45º C erhöhen konnte. Das Gemisch wurde für eine halbe Stunde bei Umgebungstemperatur gerührt, eine Lösung von 16 g (0,4 Mol) Natriumhydroxid in 30 ml Wasser wurde hinzugegeben, und anschließend wurde das Gemisch unter Rückfluß für 15 Stunden erhitzt mit azeotraper Entfernung des zugegebenen Wassers und des Reaktionswassers. Nach Abkühlung auf 90º C und Zugabe von 200 ml Xylol wurde das Gemisch zweimal mit 150 ml Wasser gewaschen, während die Temperatur bei 90º C gehalten wurde.
- B) Eine Lösung, die 55,15 g (0,68 Mal) 37 % Formaldehyd und 31,3 g (0,68 Mol) Ameisensäure enthielt, wurde im Verlaufe van einer Stunde zu der obigen Xylollösung gegeben, die auf 110º C erhitzt wurde.
- Nach Beendigung der Reaktion wurde das Geinisch für zwei Stunden bei 110º C gehalten, und nach Abkühlung auf Umgebungstemperatur wurde eine Lösung von 28 g (0,7 Mol) Natriumhydroxid in 100 ml Wasser zugegeben, und das Gemisch wurde für eine halbe Stunde gerührt. Die organische Phase wurde mit Wasser gewaschen, über wasserfreiem Natriumsulfat getrocknet und im Vakuum (26 mbar) eingedampft. Man erhielt eine Verbindung mit dem Schmelzpunkt 146 bis 150º C und n = 2400, die wiederkehrende Einheiten der falgenden Formel enthielt
- Nach der im Beispiel 1 beschriebenen Verfahrensweise und unter Verwendung der unten aufgeführten Reagenzien wurden die folgenden Verbindungen hergestellt, die wiederkehrende Einheiten der Formel

- 8,8 g (0,112 Mol) Acetylchlorid, gelöst in 30 ml Toluol, wurden langsam bei Umgebungstemperatur zu 41,4 g der nach Beispiel 1A hergestellten Verbindung, die in 400 ml Toluol gelöst war, gegeben.
- Nach Beendigung der Reaktion wurde das Rühren für 4 Stunden bei Umgebungstemperatur fortgesetzt. Anschließend wurden 4,8 g (0,12 Mal) Natriumhydroxid, gelöst in 30 ml Wasser, zugegeben und das Gemisch für eine Stunde gerührt und die Phasen getrennt. Die organische Phase wurde mit Wasser gewaschen, über wasserfreiem Natriumsulfat getrocknet und im Vakuum (26 mbar) eingedampft. Man erhielt eine Verbindung mit dem Schmelzpunkt 143 bis 147º C und mit n = 2350, die wiederkehrende Einheiten der falgenden Formel enthielt
- Eine Lösung, die 10,54 g (0,13 Mol) 37 %iges Formaldehyd und 5,52 g (0,12 Mal) Ameisensäure enthielt, wurde im Verlaufe van einer halben Stunde zu 20 g der im Zwischenprodukt-Beispiel 7 hergestellten Verbindung, gelöst in 200 ml Toluol, gegeben, und auf 95 bis 100º C erhitzt. Nach Beendigung der Zugabe wurde das Gemisch für zwei Stunden bei 100 bis 105º C erhitzt und auf Umgebungstemperatur abgekühlt. Eine Lösung von 6 g (0,15 Mol) Natriumhydroxid in 25 ml Wasser wurde hinzugesetzt, und das Gemisch wurde für eine halbe Stunde gerührt. Die organische Phase wurde mit Wasser gewaschen, über wasserfreiem Natriumsulfat getrocknet und im Vakuum (26 mbar) eingedampft. Man erhielt eine Verbindung mit dem Schmelzpunkt 169 bis 170º C und mit n = 2500, die wiederkehrende Einheiten der folgenden Formel enthielt
- 20 g der nach Beispiel 1A hergestellten Verbindungen wurde in 100 g Essigsaureanhydrid suspendiert. 0,2 g 95 % Schwefelsäure wurden hinzugegeben, und das Gemisch wurde bei 110º C für 6 Stunden erhitzt. Das überschüssige Essigsäureanhydrid wurde durch Eindampfen im Vakuum (1,3 mbar) entfernt, und der Rückstand wurde in 150 ml Dichlormethan gelöst.
- Die Lösung wurde zweimal mit einer wäßrigen Lösung von 40 g Natriumhydroxid in 150 ml Wasser gewaschen, anschließend mit Wasser gewaschen, überwasserfreiem Natriumsulfat getrocknet und im Vakuum (26 mbar) eingedampft. Man erhielt eine Verbindung mit dem Schmelzpunkt 248 bis 257º C und mit n = 2800, die wiederkehrende Einheiten der folgenden Formel enthielt
- Das zahlenmittlere Molekulargewicht, das in den obigen Beispielen angegeben wurde, wurde nach dem in der EP-A-255990, Seite 18, Zeile 54 bis Seite 19, Zeile 15 beschriebenen Verfahren bestimmt.
- 2,5 g von jedem der in Tabelle 1 aufgeführten Produkte, 1 g Tris-(2,4-di-tert.butylphenyl)phosphit, 0,5 g Calciummonoethyl-3,5-di-tert.butyl-4-hydroxybenzylphosphonat, 1 g Calciumstearat und 2,5 g Titandioxid wurden in einem langsamen Mischer mit 1000 g Polypropylenpulver mit einem Schmelzindex van 12 g/10 Minuten (gemessen bei 230º C und 2,16 kg) vermischt.
- Die Gemische wurden bei 200 bis 230 º C extrudiert, um zu Polymergranulaten zu gelangen, die anschließend in Fasern umgewandelt wurden unter Verwendung eines Pilotgerätes (Leonard, Sumirago (VA) Italien) und das unter den folgenden Bedingungen arbeitete:
- Extrudertemperatur: 200 bis 230º C
- Kopftemperatur: 255 bis 260º C
- Dehnungs(Gesamtlängen)verhältnis: 1 : 3,5
- Feinheit: 11 dtex pro Faden
- Die auf diese Weise hergestellten Fäden wurden, auf eine weiße Karte aufgezogen, einer Bewetterung unterzogen in einem Bewetterungsgerät 65 WR (ASTM G 26-77) mit einer Schwarztafeltemperatur von 63º C.
- Die Restzugfestigkeit wurde bei den Proben, die verschiedene zeiten Licht ausgesetzt worden waren, mittels eines Zugspannungsmeßgerätes mit Konstantgeschwindigkeit gemessen, und anschließend wurde die Expositionszeit (in Stunden) berechnet, die benötigt wurde, um die Anfangszugspannung zu halbieren (T&sub5;&sub0;). Die unter gleichen Bedingungen wie oben angegeben hergestellten Fasern, jedoch ohne Zugabe der erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen, wurden zum Vergleich exponiert.

3. Verbindung der Formel (I) nach Anspruch 1, worin R&sub1; die
Bedeutung C&sub1;-C&sub6;-Alkyl, Allyl, Benzyl, C&sub1;-C&sub6;-Acyl oder (C&sub1;-C&sub6;-
Alkoxy)-carbonyl hat, A ist eine Gruppe der Formel (IIa) oder
(IIb), in der R&sub3; Wasserstoff, C&sub1;-C&sub6;-Alkyl, Cyclohexyl das
unsubstituiert oder mono-, di- oder trisubstituiert ist durch
C&sub1;-C&sub4;-Alkyl, Benzyl oder eine Gruppe der Formel (III) , R&sub4;
ist C&sub2;-C&sub1;&sub0;-Alkylen, Cyclohexylen, Cyclohexylendimethylen,
Methylendicyclohexylen, Xylylen oder C&sub4;-C&sub1;&sub2;-Alkylen, unterbrachen
durch 1 oder 2 Sauerstoffatome oder durch eine Gruppe > N-CH&sub3;,
p und r, die gleich oder verschieden sein können, sind eine
ganze Zahl von 2 bis 4, und q ist Null oder 1, R&sub2; ist OH, ONa,
OK, C&sub1;-C&sub6;-Alkoxy, Allyloxy, Benzyloxy, C&sub1;-C&sub6;-Acyloxy, eine
Gruppe R&sub1;-A- oder eine Gruppe der Formel (IV), und n ist eine
Zahl von 1 bis 15.
4. Verbindung der Formel (I) nach Anspruch 1, worin R&sub1; die
Bedeutung C&sub1;-C&sub4;-Alkyl, C&sub1;-C&sub4;-Acyl oder (C&sub1;-C&sub4;-Alkoxy)-carbonyl
hat, A ist eine Gruppe der Formel (IIa) oder (IIb), worin R&sub3;
Wasserstoff, C&sub1;-C&sub4;-Alkyl, Cyclohexyl, Benzyl oder eine Gruppe
der Formel (III) ist, R&sub4; ist C&sub2;-C&sub8;-Alkylen,
Cyclohexylendimethylen, Methylendicyclohexylen oder C&sub4;-C&sub1;&sub0;-Alkylen unterbrochen
durch 1 oder 2 Sauerstoffatome oder durch eine Gruppe > N-CH&sub3;,
p und r, die gleich oder verschieden sein können, sind 2 oder
3, und q ist Null oder 1, und R&sub2; ist OH, ONa, OK, C&sub1;-C&sub4;-Alkoxy,
C&sub1;-C&sub4;-Acyloxy,
eine Gruppe R&sub1;-A- oder eine Gruppe der Formel
(IV), und n ist eine Zahl von 1 bis 10.
5. Verbindung der Formel (I) nach Anspruch 1, worin R&sub1; die
Bedeutung Methyl, Acetyl oder (C&sub1;-C&sub2;-Alkoxy)-carbonyl hat, A
ist eine Gruppe der Formel (IIa) oder (IIb), worin R&sub3;
Wasserstoff, Methyl, Cyclohexyl oder eine Gruppe der Formel (III)
ist, R&sub4; ist C&sub2;-C&sub6;-Alkylen oder C&sub4;-C&sub1;&sub0;-Alkylen unterbrachen durch
1 oder 2 Sauerstoffatame, p und r, die gleich oder verschieden
sein können, sind 2 oder 3, und q ist Null oder 1, und R&sub2; ist
OH, ONa, OK, Methoxy, Acetoxy, eine Gruppe R&sub1;-A- oder eine
Gruppe der Formel (IV), und n ist eine Zahl von 1 bis 8.
6. Verbindung der Formel (I) nach Anspruch 1, worin R&sub1; die
Bedeutung Methyl, Acetyl oder (C&sub1;-C&sub2;-Alkoxy)-carbonyl hat, A
ist eine Gruppe der Formel (IIa) oder (IIb), worin R&sub3;
Wasserstoff, Methyl oder eine Gruppe der Formel (III) ist, R&sub5; ist
Methyl oder Acetyl, R&sub4; ist C&sub3;-C&sub6;-Alkylen oder C&sub8;-C&sub1;&sub0;-Alkylen
unterbrochen durch 2 Sauerstoffatame, p und r, die gleich oder
verschieden sein können, sind 2 oder 3, und q ist Null oder 1,
und R&sub2; ist eine Gruppe R&sub1;-A- oder eine Gruppe der Formel (IV),
und n ist eine zahl von 1 bis 5.
7. Verbindung der Formel (I) nach Anspruch 1, die
wiederkehrende Einheiten der Formel (V)
enthält, worin R&sub4;' Trimethylen, Hexamethylen oder
4,7-Dioxadecan-1,10-diyl ist.
8. Zusammensetzung, die ein organisches Material, das dem
durch Licht, Wärme oder Oxidation hervorgerufenen Abbau
unterliegt, und wenigstens eine Verbindung der Formel (I) nach
Anspruch 1 enthält.
9. Zusammensetzung nach Anspruch 8, worin das organische
Material ein synthetisches Polymeres ist.
10. Zusammensetzung nach Anspruch 9, die andere übliche
Additive für synthetische Polymere zusätzlich zu der Verbindung
der Formel (I) enthält.
11. Zusammensetzung nach Anspruch 8, worin das organische
Material ein Polyolefin ist.
12. Zusammensetzung nach Anspruch 8, worin das organische
Material Polyethylen oder Polypropylen ist.
13. Verwendung einer Verbindung der Formel (I) nach Anspruch
1 zur Stabilisierung eines organischen Materials gegen durch
Licht, Wärme oder Oxidation hervorgerufenen Abbau.
