Description
- Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft Bis(tri-tert-alkylphenoxy) diphosphaspiroundecane und Bis(2,4,6-tri-t-alkylphenoxy)diphosphaspiroundecane im besonderen, ebenso wie Polymerzusammensetzungen, die Tri-t-alkylphenoxydiphosphaspiroundecane in stabilisierenden Mengen enthalten.
- Verschiedene Alkylphenoxydiphosphaspiroundecane sind in der Technik bekannt.Die japanische frühe Offenlegung 1986-225,191 vom 9. Oktober 1986 durch Tajima u.a. offenbart eine Anzahl von Bis(alkylphenoxy)diphosphaspiroundecanen wie Bis (2-tert- butyl-4,6-dimethylphenoxy)diphosphaspiroundecan und Bis(2,4- di-t-octylphenoxy)diphosphaspiroundecan. Bis(alkylphenoxy)diphosphaspiroundecane werden ebenfalls durch das japanische Patent 49-128044;US-Patent Nr. 4,066,611 an Axelrod; 4,094,855 und 4, 207,229 an Spivack; 4,305,866 an York u.a.; 4,520,149 an Golder; 4,585,818 an Jung u.a.; U.K.-Patentanmeldung GB 2 156 358A und die japanische Patent-Anmeldung 52 [1977] 110829 vom 14.September 1977 an Risner u.a. offenbart.Andere in der Technik bekannte Diphosphaspiroundecan- Verbindungen schließen Bis(2,6-di-t-butyl-4-methylphenoxy) diphosphaspiroundecan und Bis (2,6-di-t-butyl-4-ethylphenoxy)diphosphaspiroundecan) ein.
- EP-A-38876 offenbart eine 2,6-Di-tertiär -butyl-phenylpentaerythritol-spiro-bisphosphit-Zusammensetzung, die in Kombination mit einem Phenol-Antioxidationsmittel den synthetischen Harzzusammensetzungen eine verbesserte Widerstandsfähigkeit gegen Verschlechterung durch Hitze und Licht verleiht.
- Praktisch enthalten alle im Handel erhältlichen Polymere eine oder mehrere stabilisierende Verbindungen, um das Polymer gegen eine Zersetzung der Polymereigenschaften durch Kettenspaltung oder unerwünschte Vernetzung während der Herstellung oder Benutzung des Produkts zu schützen.Diese Zersetzung ist bei thermoplastischen Polymeren besonders problematisch, die typischerweise extremen Herstellungstemperaturen unterworfen werden.Solch eine Zersetzung beeinflußt nicht nur die physikalischen Eigenschaften der Zusammensetzung , sondern sie kann auch eine Verfärbung des Polymeren verursachen, wodurch das Polymer ästhetisch abstoßend wird und bewirkt, daß das Produkt abgelehnt wird.
- Jedoch werden Polymer-Stabilisatoren im Verlauf ihrer Herstellung, Versendung, Lagerung und Benutzung verschiedenen ungünstigen Bedingungen ausgesetzt.Eine solche Bedingung, die die Stabilisierungsmittel ungünstig beeinflussen kann, ist das übermäßige Aussetzen der Feuchtigkeit, entweder in Form von Feuchtigkeit oder Nässe.Obwohl viele Stabilisierungsmittel in Form von Pulvern oder Körnern verwendet werden, kann die Absorption von Feuchtigkeit dazu führen, daß der Stabilisator klumpt oder"blockiert", wodurch es schwierig wird, den Stabilisator während der Beschickungs- und Mischungsverfahren zu handhaben.Eine Folge einer solchen Feuchtigkeitsaussetzung kann Hydrolyse sein, die häufig die stabilisierenden Eigenschaften reduziert und das Harz der Zersetzung preisgibt.
- Viele Phosphite einschließlich einiger der obenerwähnten Diphosphaspiroundecane, können, wenn sie entweder rein oder nachdem sie in das Polymer hineingemischt worden sind, ausgezeichnete Dauerhaftigkeit aufweisen, wenn sie entsprechend gelagert werden. Einige Phosphite, wie Tris(2,4-di-t- butylphenol)phosphit (TBPP), weisen eine gute Lagerstabilität in feuchter Umgebung auf, jedoch verfügen sie nicht über die stabilisierende Wirksamkeit vieler Arten von Stabilisatoren aus der Diphosphaspiroundecan-Klasse.
- Obwohl viele der obigen Diphosphaspiroundecane in der Lage sind, als Polymer-Stabilisatoren zu wirken, würde gleichwohl eine Verbesserung in der Gesamtbilanz der Eigenschaftten verwirklicht werden, wenn die Feuchtigkeitsbeständigkeit verbessert werden könnte, während gleichzeitig ausgezeichnete Stablisierungseigenschaften aufrechterhalten werden könnten. In der Tat bietet ein Stabilisator, der einem Polymer gute physikalische und Farbstabilität verleiht, während er eine verbesserte Beständigkeit gegenüber Feuchtigkeit und Hydrolyse aufweist, signifikante praktische Vorteile über viele Stabilisatoren, die in der Technik bekannt sind.
- Die vorliegende Erfindung sieht eine Zusammensetzung vor, die zur Verbesserung der Schmelzflußstabilität und/oder Farbstabilität von Polymeren besonders geeignet ist, enthaltend ein Diphosphaspiroundecan der allgemeinen Formel:
- worin jedes R¹,R², R³,R&sup4;,R&sup5; und R&sup6; ein tertiärer Alkylrest ist. In der Ausführungsform, die bevorzugt wird, werden R¹ ,R²,R³,R&sup4;,R&sup5; und R&sup6; ausgewählt aus der Gruppe, bestehend aus C&sub4; bis etwa C&sub1;&sub2; tertiären Alkylresten. Tertiär- Butyl ist der am meisten bevorzugte Anteil.
- Die vorliegende Erfindung ist auch auf eine stabilisierte Polymerzusammensetzung gerichtet, die aus einem Polymer und einer wirksamen Menge des Diphosphaspiroundecan dieser Erfindung besteht.Thermoplastische Polymeren werden bevorzugt, wobei Polyethylen,Polypropylen,Polyethylenterephthalat, Polyethylenether, Polystyrol, schlagfestes Polystyrol und Pfropfcopolymere vom ABS-Typ am meisten bevorzugt werden.
- Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft Zusammensetzungen, die ein 3,9-Bis(2,4,6-trit- -alkylphenoxy)-2,4,8,10-tetraoxa- 3,9-diphosphaspiro[5,5]undecan umfassen. Diese Verbindungen, auch gut bekannt als Bis(2,4,6,-tri-t-alkylphenyl)pentaerythritoldiphosphite, werden repräsentiert durch die allgemeine Formel:
- worin jedes R¹,R²,R³,R&sup4;,R&sup5; und R&sup6; tertiäre (oder "tert" oder "t")Alkylreste sind.
- Beispiele solcher Anteile schließen t-Butyl,t-Pentyl, 1,1,4,4- Tetramethylbutyl, t-Octyl,1-Methylzyklohexyl,t-Dodecyl und 2-Phenyl-2-propyl ein.Jedoch werden C&sub4;bis etwa C&sub1;&sub2;Anteile wie t-Butyl,t-Pentyl,t-Octyl und t-Dodecyl bevorzugt. Relativ kleinere Gruppen wie t-Butyl,t-Pentyl,1-Methylzyklohexyl und 1,1,4,4-Tetramethylbutyl werden mehr bevorzugt.Tertiäre Butyl-Anteile werden am meisten bevorzugt. Obwohl jedes von allen R¹,R²,R³,R&sup4;,R&sup5; und R&sup6;so ausgewählt werden kann, daß es, wie in 2,4-Di-t-butyl-4- -pentyl verschieden ist, wird es bevorzugt, daß R¹,R²,R³,R&sup4;,R&sup5;und R&sup6; gleich sind.
- Die Diphosphaspiroundecane können mit Mitteln hergestellt werden, die dem Fachmann bekannt sind, wie durch die Reaktion eines Tri-t-alkylphenols mit 3,9-Dichlor-2,4,8,10- tetraoxa-3,9-diphosphaspiro[5.5]undecan (das durch die Reaktion von Pentaerythritol mit Phosphortrichlorid mit Mitteln, die dem Fachmann bekannt sind, gebildet werden kann). Zum Beispiel kann 3,9-Bis(2,4,6-tri- -butylphenoxy)-2,4,8, 10-tetraoxa- 3,9-diphosphaspiro[5.5]undecan durch die Reaktion von 2,4,6- Tri- -butylphenol mit 3,9-Dichlor-2,4,8,10-tetraoxa-3,9- diphosphaspiro[5.5]undecan (Dichlorpentitol) gebildet werden. Ahnlich kann 3,9-Bis(2,4,6-tri- -pentylphenoxy)-2,4,8,10- tetraoxa-3,9-diphosphaspiro[5.5]undecan durch die Reaktion von 2,4,6-Tri- -pentylphenol mit Dichlorpentitol gebildet werden. Andere Bis(tri- -alkylphenoxy)-tetraoxa-diphosphaspiroundecane können durch Reaktion des Tri- -alkylphenols, das der gewünschten Tri-t-alkylphenoxy-Gruppe entspricht, mit Dichlorpentitol gebildet werden.
- Die Diphosphaspiroundecane können auch durch Reaktion eines Phenols, das der gewünschten Tri-t-alkylphenoxy-Gruppe entspricht, mit Phosphortrichlorid erzeugt werden, um ein Tri- t-alkylphenoxyphosphordichloridit zu bilden, gefolgt von einer Reaktion des Phosphordichloridits mit Pentaerythritol, um ein Bis(tri-t-alkylphenoxy)-tetraoxa-diphosphaspiroundecan zu bilden.Zum Beispiel kann 2,4,6-Tri-t-butylphenol mit Phosphortrichlorid und dann mit Pentaerythritol zur Reaktion gebracht werden, um Bis(2,4,6-tri-t-butyl-phenoxy)- tetraoxa-diphosphaspiroundecan zu bilden.Ähnlich kann 2,4,6-Tri-t-dodecylphenol mit Phosphortrichlorid und dann mit Pentaerythritol zur Reaktion gebracht werden, um Bis(2,4,6-tri-t-dodecylphenoxyl)-tetraoxa-diphosphaspiroundecan zu bilden.
- Verfahren zur Bildung von Diphosphaspiroundecanen über die Dichlorpentitol-und Phosphordichloridit- Wege sind in der Technik bekannt. Wohingegen jedoch nach- dem bisherigen Stand der Technik gezeigt wird, daß das Diphosphaspiroundecan in einer Lösung in Anwesenheit eines Amins, wie Triethylamin, gebildet wird, das als ein Säureakzeptor dient, indem es ein unlösliches Hydrochloridsalz bildet, wird es bevorzugt, daß das Diphosphaspiroundecan in einem Tri-n-alkylamin , wie Tri-n-Butylamin, gebildet wird, worin jede n-Alkylgruppe ein C&sub3; oder größerer n-Alkyl-Anteil ist, worin das Hydrochloridsalz in Lösung bleibt und das Diphosphaspiroundecan-Produkt im wesentlichen unlöslich ist.Bevorzugte Verfahren werden weiter erläutert in der ebenfalls noch anhängigen Anmeldung EP-A-356688, die gleichzeitig mit der vorliegenden Anmeldung eingereicht wurde und die den Titel hat " 3,9-Diphosphaspiroundecane und Verfahren zur Herstellung 3,9-Diphosphaspiroundecane", von S.J.Hobbs,K.J.Sheehan und W.P.Enlow.Beispiele sowohl des bisherigen Standes der Technik als auch der bevorzugten Verfahren zur Herstellung von Diphosphaspiroundecane nach der Erfindung werden unten in dem Abschnitt mit der Überschrift" Besondere Ausführungsformen" aufgeführt.
- Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft auch eine stabilisierte Polymerzusammensetzung, die eine genügende Menge von einem oder mehreren der Bis(tri-t-alkylphenoxy)-tetraoxadiphosphaspiroundecane, wie sie oben beschrieben sind, einschließt, um den Schmelzfluß und/oder die Farbstabilität im Vergleich zu einer analogen Polymerzusammensetzung,die kein Diphosphaspiroundecan enthält, zu verbessern.
- In den meisten Polymerzusammensetzungen wird es jedoch bevorzugt, daß das Diphosphaspiroundecan in einer Menge von etwa 0,01 bis etwa 2 Gewichtsteilen pro 100 Gewichtsteile Harz (phr) anwesend ist. Mengen von etwa 0,01 bis 1 phr werden mehr bevorzugt, obwohl die meisten Zusammensetzungen etwa 0,025 phr oder mehr enthalten.
- Das Polymer kann ein beliebiges der nach dem Stand der Technik bekannten Polymere sein, wie Polyester, Polyurethane, Polyalkylenterephtalate,Polysulfone,Polyimide, Polyphenylenether, Styrolpolymere, Polycarbonate, Acrylpolymere,Polyamide,Polyacetale,Halogenide, die Polymere und Polyolefinhomopolymere sowie Copolymere enthalten.
- Mischungen von verschiedenen Polymeren, wie Polyphenylenether/Styrol-Harzmischungen, Polyvinylchlorid/ABS oder andere schlagmodifizierten Polymere, wie Methacrylnitril, das ABS enthält und Polyester/ABS oder Polyester plus einige andere Schlagmodifizierungsmittel können ebenfalls verwendet werden.Solche Polymere sind im Handel erhältlich oder können mit Mitteln, die in der Technik bekannt sind, hergestellt werden.Jedoch sind die Diphosphaspiroundecane der Erfindung in thermoplastischen Polymeren, wie Polyolefinen,Polycarbonaten,Polyestern,Polyphenylenethern und Styrolpolymeren wegen der extremen Temperaturen, bei denen thermoplastische Polymere oft hergestellt und/oder verwendet werden, besonders nützlich.
- Polymere von Monoolefinen und Diolefinen,zum Beispiel Polypropylen,Polyisobutylen,Polybuten-1, Polymethylpenten-1,Polyisopren oder Polybutadien, ebenso wie Polymere von Zykloolefinen,zum Beispiel von Zyklopenten oder Norbonen, Polyethylen (das wahlweise vernetzt werden kann), zum Beispiel Polyethylen hoher Dichte (HDPE), Polyethylen niedriger Dichte (LDPE) und lineares Polyethylen niedriger Dichte (LLDPE) können verwendet werden.Mischungen dieser Polymere, zum Beispiel Mischungen von Polypropylen mit (PP) Polyisobutylen, Polypropylen mit Polyethylen ( zum Beispiel PP/HDPE,PP/LDPE) und Mischungen verschiedener Arten von Polyethylen (zum Beispiel LDPE/HDPE), können ebenfalls verwendet werden. Verwendbar sind auch Copolymere von Monoolefinen und Diolefinen miteinander oder mit anderen Vinylmonomeren, wie, zum Beispiel, Ethylen/Propylen,LLDPE und seine Mischungen mit LDPE,Propylen/Buten-1,Ethylen/Hexen, Ethylen/Ethylpenten, Ethylen/Hepten, Ethylen/Octen, Propylen/Isobutylen,Ethylen/Butan-1,Propylen/Butadien,Isobutylen/Isopren,Ethylen/Alkylacrylate,Ethylen/Alkylmethacrylate,Ethylen/Vinylacetat (EVA) oder Ethylen/Acrylsäure-Copolymere (EAA) und ihre Salze (Ionomere) und Terpolymere von Ethylen mit Propylen und einem Dien, wie Hexadien,Dizyklopentadien oder Ethyliden-Norbornen ebenso wie Mischungen solcher Copolymere und ihre Mischungen mit oben erwähnten Polymeren, zum Beispiel Polypropylen/Ethylen-Propylen-Copolymere, LDPE/EVA,LDPE/EAA,LLDPE/EVA und LLDPE/EAA.
- Thermoplastische Polymere können auch Styrolpolymere, wie Polystyrol,Poly-(p-methylstyrol),Poly-(alpha-methylstyrol),Copolymere von Styrol oder Alpha-methylstyrol mit Dienen oder Acrylderivaten, wie zum Beispiel Styrol/Butadien,Styrol/Acrylnitril, Styrol/Alkylmethacrylat, Styrol/Maleinanhydrid,Styrol/Butadien/Ethylacrylat/Styrol/Acrylnitril/Methacrylat, Mischungen von hoher Schlagfestigkeit von Styrol-Copolymeren und einem anderen Polymer, wie zum Beispiel von Polyacrylat, einem Dien-Polymer oder einem Ethylen/Propylen/Dien-Terpolymer und Block- Copolymeren von Styrol, wie zum Beispiel Styrol/Butadien/Styrol,Styrol/Isopren/Styrol,Styrol/Ethylen/Butylen/Styrol oder Styrol/Ethylen/Propylen/Styrol einschließen. Styrolpolymere können zusätzlich oder alternativ Pfropfcopolymere von Styrol oder Alpha-Methylstyrol,wie zum Beispiel Styrol auf Polybutadien, Styrol auf Polybutadien-Styrol oder Polybutadien-Acrylnitril;Styrol und Acrylnitril ( oder Methacrylnitril) auf Polybutadien; Styrol und Maleinanhydrid oder Maleimid auf Polybutadien;Styrol,Acrylnitril und Maleinanhydrid oder Maleimid auf Polybutadien-Styrol,Acrylnitril und Methylmethacrylat auf Polybutadien; Styrol und Alkylacrylate oder Methacrylate auf Polybutadien;Styrol und Acrylnitril auf Ethylen/Propylen/Dien-Terpolymeren,Styrol und Acrylnitril auf Polyacrylaten oder Polymethacrylaten,Styrol und Acrylnitril auf Acrylat/Butadien-Copolymeren, ebenso wie Mischungen mit den oben aufgezeigten Styrolcopolymeren, einschließen.
- Nitrilpolymeresind ebenfalls in der Polymerzusammensetzung der Erfindung verwendbar.Diese schließen Homopolymere und Copolymere von Acrylnitril und seiner Verwandten wie Methacrylnitril, wie Polyacrylnitril,Acrylnitril/Butadien-Polymere,Acrylnitril/Alkylacrylat-Polymere, Acrylnitril/Alkylmethacrylat/Butadien-Polymere,ABS und ABS, das Methacrylnitril einschließt, ein.
- Polymere auf der Basis von Acrylsäuren, wie Acrylsäure, Methacrylsäure,Methylmethacrylsäure und Ethacrylsäure und Ester hiervon können ebenfalls verwendet werden.Solche Polymere schließen Polymethylmethacrylat und Pfropfcopolymere vom ABS-Typ, worin das Monomer vom Acrylnitril-Typ ganz oder teilweise durch einen Acrylsäureester oder ein Acrylsäureamid ersetzt worden ist,ein.Polymere, die andere Monomere vom Acryl-Typ einschließen, wie Acrolein, Methacrolein,Acrylamid und Methacrylamid können ebenfalls verwendet werden.
- Halogen enthaltende Polymere sind ebenfalls geeignet.Diese schließen solche Harze ein wie Polychloropren,Epichlorohydrin-Homo-und Copolymere,Polyvinylchlorid, Polyvinylbromid,Polyvinylfluorid,Polyvinylidenchlorid,chloriertes Polyethylen,chloriertes Polypropylen,fluoriertes Polyvinyliden,bromiertes Polyethylen,chloriertes Gummi,Vinylchlorid-Vinylacetat-Copolymer,Vinylchlorid-Ethylen-Copolymer,Vinylchlorid-Propylen-Copolymer,Vinylchlorid- Styrol-Copolymer,Vinylchlorid-Isobutylen-Copolymer, Vinylchlorid-Vinylidenchlorid-Copolymer, Vinylchlorid- Styrol-Maleinanhydrid-Terpolymer,Vinylchlorid-Styrol- Acrylnitril-Copolymer, Vinylchlorid-Butadien-Copolymer, Vinylchlorid-Isopren-Copolymer, Vinylchiorid-chloriertes Propylen-Copolymer,Vinylchlorid-Vinylidenchlorid-Vinylacetat-Tercopolymer, Vinylchlorid-Acrylsäureester-Copolymere,VinylchloridMaleinsäureester-Copolymere, Vinylchlorid-Methacrylsäureester-Copolymere,Vinylchlorid- Acrylnitril-Copolymer und innen weichgemachtes Polyvinylchlorid.
- Andere geeignete thermoplastische Polymere schließen Homopolymere und Copolymere von zyklischen Ethern,wie Polyalkylenglycole,Polyethylenoxid,Polypropylenoxid oder Copolymere davon mit Bisglycidylethern; Polyacetale, wie Polyoxymethylen und jene Polyoxymethylene, die Ethylenoxid als ein Comonomer enthalten,Polyacetale, modifiziert mit thermoplastischen Polyurethanen,Acrylaten oder Methacrylnitril ,die ABS enthalten,Polyphenylenoxide-und sulfide und Mischungen von Polyphenylenoxiden mit Polystyrol oder Polyamiden;Polycarbonate und Polyester-Carbonate; Polysulfone,Polyethersulfone und Polyetherketone; sowie Polyester, die von Dicarbonsäuren und Diolen und/oder von Hydroxycarbonsäuren oder den entsprechenden Lactonen abgleitet sind, wie Polyethylenterephthalat,Polybutylenterephthalat, Poly- 1,4-dimethylolzyklohexanterephthalat,Poly-[2,2,4(4-hydroxyphenyl)propan]terephthalat und Polyhydroxybenzoate ebenso wie Block-Copolyetherester, die von Polyethern mit Hydroxylendgruppen abgeleitet sind, ein.
- Polyamide und Copolyamide, die von Diaminen und Dicarbonsäuren und/oder von Aminocarbonsäuren oder den entsprechenden Lactamen abgeleitet sind, wiePolyamld 4, Polyamid 6, Polyamid 6/6,6/10,6/9,6/12 und 4/6, Polyamid 11,Polyamid 12, aromatische Polyamide, die durch Kondensation von m-Xylol, Diamin und Adipinsäure erlangt wurden, Polyamide, die aus Hexamethylendiamin und Isophtal-und/oder Terephtalsäure und wahlweise einem Elastomer als Modifizierungsmittel, zum Beispiel Poly-2,4,4-trimthylhexamethylenterephthalamid oder Poly-m- phenylenisophthalamid hergestellt wurden, können verwendet werden. Weiter sind Copolymere der vorerwähnten Polyamide mit Polyolefinen,Olefin-Copolymere, Inomere oder chemisch gebundene oder gepfropfte Elastomere oder mit Polyethern, wie zum Beispiel mit Polyethylenglycol,Polypropylenglycol oder Polytetramethylenglycole sowie Polyamide oder Copolyamide, die mit EPDM oder ABS modifiziert sind, verwendbar.
- Polyolefin, Polyalkylenterephthalat,Polyphenylenether und Styrolharze und Mischungen davon werden mehr bevorzugt, mit Polyethylen,Polypropylen,Polyethylenterephthalat,Polyphenylenether-Homopolymere und-Copolymere,Polystyrol,hochschlagfestes Polystyrol,Polycarbonate und Pfropfcopolymere vom ABS-Typ und Mischungen davon werden besonders bevorzugt.
- Die sich ergebenden stabilisierten Polymerzusammensetzungen der Erfindung können wahlweise auch verschiedene herkömmliche Additive , wie die folgenden, enthalten.
- 1.1 Alkylierte Monophenole, zum Beispiel:2,6-Di-tert- butyl-4-methylphenol,2-Tert-butyl-4,6-dimethylphenol, 2,6-Di-tert-butyl-4-ethylphenol,2,6-Di-tert-butyl-4-n- butylphenol,2,6-Di-tert-butyl-4-i-butylphenol,2,6-Dizyklopentyl-4-methylphenol,2-(Alpha-methylzyklohexyl)- 4,6-dimethylphenol,2,6-Di-octadecyl-4-methylphenol, 2,4,6-Tri-zyklohexylphenol,2,6-Di-tert-butyl-4- methoxymethylphenol.
- 1.2 Alkylierte Hydrochinone, zum Beispiel, 2,6-Di-tert- butyl-4-methoxyphenol, 2,5-Di-tert-butyl-hydrochinon, 2,5-Di-tert-amyl-hydrochinon, 2,6-Diphenyl-4-octadecyloxyphenol.

- 2.7 Oxalsäurediamide, zum Beispiel, 4,4'-Di-octyloxyoxanilid, 2,2'-Di-octyloxy-5,5'-di-tert-butyl- oxanilid, 2,2'-Di-dodecyloxy-5,5'-ditert-butyl- oxanilid, 2-Ethoxy-2'-ethyl-oxanilid, N,N'-bis(3- dimethylaminopropyl)-oxalamid, 2-Ethoxy-5-tert- butyl-2'-ethyloxanilid und seine Mischung mit 2-Ethoxy-2'-ethyl-5,4'-di-tert-butyloxanilid und Mischungen von Ortho-und Paramethoxy-ebenso wie von o-und p-Ethoxy-disubstituierten Oxaniliden.

Die vorliegende Erfindung kann auch in Verbindung mit Aminoxypropanoat-Derivaten wie Methyl-3-[N,N-dibenzylaminoxy]propanoat; Ethyl-3-[N'N-dibenzylaminoxy]propanoat; 1,6-Hexamethylen-bis-[3(N'N-dibenzylaminoxy)propanoat]; Methyl-[2-(methyl)-3(N,N-dibenzylaminoxy)propanoat]; Octadecyl-3- [N,N-dibenzyl-aminoxy]propionsäure; Tetrakis[(N,N-dibenzylaminoxy)ethylcarbonyloxymethyl]methan, Octadecyl-3-[N,N-diethylaminoxy]propanoat: 3-[N,N-dibenzylaminoxy]propionsäurekaliumsalz und 1,6-Hexamethylenbis[3-(N-allyl-N-dodecylaminoxy)propanoat] benutzt werden.
- 11. Andere Additive, zum Beispiel, Weichmacher, Schmierstoffe, Emulgatoren, Pigmente, optische Aufheller, Feuerschutzmittel, antistatische Mittel, Treibmittel und Thiosynergisten wie Diaurylthiodipropionat oder Distearylthiodipropionat.
- Gehinderte Phenol-Antioxidationsmittel können ebenfalls in der Polymerzusammensetzung anwesend sein. Die Verwendung von Diphosphaspiroundecanen der vorliegenden Erfindung kann zu einem verbesserten Polymerschutz durch Reduzierung der Farbbildung, die aus der Anwesenheit der Phenole resultiert, führen.Solche Phenolantioxidantien schließen n-Octadecyl-3,5-di-tert- butyl-4-hydroxyhydrocinnamat, Neopentantetrayltetrakis- (3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxylhydrocinnamat), Di-n-octadecyl-3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydrobenzyl-phosphonat, 1,3,5-Tris (3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl-)isocyanurat, Thiodiethylen-bis(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyhydrocinnamat), 1,3,5-Trimethyl-2,4,6-tris(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl)benzol, 3,6-Di-oxaoctamethylen-bis(3-methyl-5- tert-butyl-4-hydroxyhydrocinnamat), 2,6-Di-tert-butyl- p-cresol, 2,2'-Ethyliden-bis(4,6-di-tert-butylphenol), 1,3,5-Tris-(2,6-di-methyl-4-tert-butyl-3-hydroxybenzyl)isocyanurat, 1,1,3-Tris-(2-methyl-4-hydroxy-5-tert-butyl- phenyl)butan, 1,3,5-Tris-[2-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxy- hydrocinnamoyloxy)-ethyl]-isocyanurat, 3,5-Di-(3,5-di- tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl)-mesitylen, Hexa-methylen-bis (3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyhydrocinnamat), 1-(3,5-Di- tert-butyl-4-hydroxyanilin)3,5-di(octylthio)-s-triazin, N,N'-hexamethylen-bis(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyhydrocinnamamid), Kalziumbis(ethyl-3,5-di-tert-butyl-4- hydroxybenzylphosphonat), Ethylenbis[3,3-di(3-tert-butyl- 4- hydroxyphenyl)butyrat], Octyl-3,5-di-tert-butyl-4- hydroxybenzylmercaptoacetat, Bis(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4- hydroxyhydrocinnamoyl)hydrazid und N,N'-bis[2-(3,5-tert- butyl-4-hydroxyhydroxocinnamoyloxy)-ethyl]-oxamid und bevorzugt Neopentan tetrayltetrakis (3,5-di-tert-butyl- 4- hydroxyhydrocinnamat), n-Octadecyl-3,5-di-tert- butyl-4-hydroxyhydrocinnamat, 1,3,5-Trimethyl-2,4,6- tris(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxy-benzyl)benzol, 1,3,5-Tris-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl)isocyanurat, 2,6-Di-tert-butyl-p-cresol oder 2,2'-Ethylidenbis(4,6-di-tert-butylphenol), ein.
- Andere Additive, wie Oxazaphospholidine, können zusätzlich oder alternativ anwesend sein.
- Auf ähnliche Weise verhindern lösliche Verbindungen die Farbbildung, wenn Lichtstabilisatoren aus gehindertem Amin anwesend sind, solche gehinderten Amine einschließlich Bis(1,2,2,6,6-pentamethyl-4-piperidyl)-2-n-butyl- 2-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxy-benzyl)malonat; Bis (2,2,6,6- tetramethyl-4-piperidyl)sebacat; Dimethylsuccinat-Polymer mit 4-Hydroxy-2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-1-piperidinethanol und das Polymer von 2,4-Dichlor-6-octylamino-s-triazin mit N'-(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl)hexamethylendiamin.
- In Übereinstimmung mit der Erfindung können die Diphosphaspiroundecane der Erfindung dem Polymer jederzeit vor oder während der Verarbeitung zu Gegenständen zugefügt werden und sie können mit dem Polymer durch ein beliebiges der in der Technik bekannten vielfältigen Mittel kombiniert werden, wie durch Vormischen oder durch direktes Eingeben in das Verarbeitungsgerät.
- Die vorliegende Erfindung wird durch Bezugnahme auf die "Besonderen Ausführungsformen", unten dargestellt, weiter verständlich, die hierin vorgesehen sind, um verschiedene Aspekte der Erfindung zu erläutern, entweder durch Veranschaulichung eines Aspektes der Erfindung,wie die Polymer-Stabilisierung, oder die Hydrolysebeständigkeit oder um eine Basis zum Vergleich zu geben.
- Die Säurezahl wurde, wenn sie gemessen wurde, nach einem der folgenden Verfahren bestimmt.Das Natrium-Butoxid-Verfahren wurde verwendet, um die Säurezahl für alle Beispiele zu bestimmen, sofern es nicht abweichend angegeben ist.
- Bromthymol- (0,1% in 1-Butanol)Indikatorlösung wird zu 100 ml 1-Butanol in einen 250 ml Erlenmeyer-Kolben zugegeben (4-6 Tropfen).Das Butanol wird bis zu einem blau-grünen Endpunkt von 7 pH mit 0,02 N Methanol-KOH neutralisiert (1,32g KOH (ACS,85%) in wasserfreiem, analysen-reinem Methanol und auf 1 Liter verdünnt und standardisiert gegen Standard 0,1N HCl).Die Probe, die untersucht werden soll, wird bis am nächsten auf 0,1g gewogen und zu dem Kolben gegeben.Wenn die Probe ein Feststoff ist, werden die Inhaltsstoffe des Kolbens vor Zugabe der Probe bis auf 176ºF (80ºC) leicht erwärmt. Das geeignete Gewicht der Probe, das verwendet werden soll, wird nach der folgenden Tabelle bestimmt: Zu verwendendes Gewicht Geschätzte Säurezahl weniger als 0,1 größer als 2,0
- Nach Zugabe der Probe wird der Kolben geschwenkt, um die Probe aufzulösen und die Inhaltsstoffe des Kolbens werden dann unmittelbar mit 0,02N KOH (oben beschrieben) bis zu einem blau-grünen Endpunkt titriert.
- Blaue Bromthymol-Indikatorlösung (0,1%) wird wie oben beschrieben, hergestellt. Eine Probe von 2g des Materials, das untersucht werden soll, wird in einem 250ml Erlenmeyer- Kolben am nächsten auf 0,01g ausgewogen.Methylenchlorid (75ml)wird in einen anderen Erlenmeyer-Kolben zugegeben, gefolgt von 4-6 Tropfen der Bromthymol-Indikatorlösung und die sich ergebende Lösung wird mit 0,02NNatrium- Butoxid neutralisiert (0,46g Natrium-Metall aufgelöst in wasserfreiem Butanol, auf 1 Liter verdünnt und standardisiert gegen 0,01N HCl) zu einem blau-grünen Endpunkt von 7 pH.Die neutralisierte Methylenchlorid-Lösung wird dann zu dem Kolben, der die Probe enthält, zugegeben und geschwenkt, um die Probe aufzulösen.Die sich ergebende Lösung wird unmittelbar mit 0,02N Natrium-Butoxid (hergestellt wie oben angezeigt) zu einem blau-grünen Endpunkt titriert.
- Die Säurezahl für jedes der Verfahren ergibt sich aus der folgenden Gleichung:

- Beispiel 1 veranschaulicht die Herstellung eines Diphosphaspiroundecans der vorliegenden Erfindung, 3,9-Bis(2,4,6- tri- -butylphenoxy)-2,4,8,10-tetraoxa-3,9-diphosphaspiro[5.5]undecan.
- Eine Suspension von 210,1g (800mMol) von 2,4,6-Tri- -butyl- phenol, 105,9g (400mMol) von 3,9-Dichlor-2,4,8,10-tetraoxa- 3,9-diphosphaspiro[5.5]undecan und 118ml ( 847mMol) von Triethylamin wurde in 200ml Chlorbenzol aufgelöst und unter Rückflußkühlung erhitzt sowie unter einer Stickstoffatmosphäre 46 Stunden lang mechanisch gerührt.Die sich ergebende dunkel -braune Suspension wurde mit 500ml Chlorbenzol verdünnt und gefiltert, um Triethylaminhydrochlorid zu entfernen, das während der Reaktion gebildet worden war. Nach Kühlung des Filtrats wurden 214g nasser Kristalle erlangt. Die Kristalle wurden von Toluol umkristallisiert, das eine kleine Menge (weniger als 5 Volumen%) Triethylamin enthielt. Das Produkt wurde durch Filtration isoliert, um 76,2g (26% Ausbeute) von Bis (2,4,6-tri- -butylphenoxy)-tetraoxa- diphosphaspiroundecan als Kristalle zu liefern, mit einem Schmelzpunkt von 253,5-256ºC und einer Säurezahl von 3,0 (KOH-Methanol-Verfahren, oben beschrieben). Weitere Umkristallisation von Toluol, das eine kleine Menge von Triethylamin enthielt, lieferte 48,8g (17% Ausbeute) des gewünschten Produkts als einen weißen kristallinen Feststoff, Schmelzpunkt bei 250-225ºC,Säurezahl 0,99. Infrarot,NMR- und Massenspektroskopie bestätigten die Struktur des Produkts.
- Beispiel 2 veranschaulicht die Herstellung von Bis(2,4,6- tri- -butylphenoxy)-tetraoxa-diphosphaspiroundecan durch ein Verfahren, dem gegenüber dem Verfahren von Beispiel 1 der Vorzug gegeben wird.
- In eine gerührte Lösung von 120,3g (458mMol ) 2,4,6- Tri- -butylphenol in 382ml Tri- -butylamin unter Argon wurden 60,7g (229 mMol) 3,9-Dichlor-2,4,8,10-tetraoxa- 3,9-diphosphaspiro[5.5]undecan zugegeben. Die Suspension wurde dann erhitzt und unter Argon bei einer Innentemperatur von 110ºC 8 Stunden lang gerührt. Die sich ergebende Suspension wurde auf Raumtemperatur abkühlen gelassen und 400ml Isopropylalkohol wurden zugegeben.Die Feststoffe wurden durch Vakuumfiltration isoliert und auf dem Trichter mit einem zusätzlichen Liter Isopropylalkohol und dann 1 Liter n-Heptan gewaschen, um 145,4g (89% theoretische Ausbeute) des gewünschten Diphosphaspiroundecans als ein weißes Pulver zu liefern, mit einem Schmelzpunkt bei 253-254ºC und einer Säurezahl von 0,92. Dieses Produkt wurde mit Standardverfahren bestätigt.
- Beispiel 3 veranschaulicht die Herstellung von Bis(2,4,6- tri- -butylphenoxy)-tetraoxa-diphosphaspiroundecan durch ein anderes Verfahren, dem gegenüber dem Verfahren von Beispiel 1 der Vorzug gegeben wird.
- Zu 73,0g (530 mMol)Phosphortrichlorid wurden bei annähernd 0ºC langsam 16,9g (170mMol ) Triethylamin zugegeben.Die Mixtur wurde 10 Minuten lang gerührt und dann wurden 35,0g (130 mMol ) 2,4,6-Tri- -butylphenol in 7,0g Portionen über einen Zeitraum von 20 Minuten bei fortgesetzter Kühlung zugegben. Nachdem die Zugabe von 2,4,6-Tri- -butylphenol abgeschlossen war, wurde die Reaktionsmixtur unter Rückflußkühlung 3,5 Stunden lang erhitzt und dann auf Raumtemperatur abkühlen gelassen.Die Reaktionsmixtur wurde mit 200ml Heptan verdünnt und gekühlt und gefiltert. Der Filterkuchen wurde zweimal mit 80ml (2 x 80) Heptan gewaschen. Die gebundenen organischen Filtrate wurden unter Vacuum konzentriert, um 48,2g (99% theoretische Ausbeute) des Phosphordichlorids als ein festes Produkt zu liefern, mit einem Schmelzpunkt von 81-86ºC.Ähnliche Ergebnisse wurden erlangt, wenn die Reaktion in einem Toluol-Lösungsmittel ausgeführt wurde.
- In dem nächsten Schritt wurde eine Mixtur von 47,0g (130 mMol ) 2,4,6-Tri- -butylphenylphosphordichloridit und 80ml Toluol zu 48,8g (260mMol ) Pentaerythritol zugegeben.Eine Wärmezufuhr bis auf 55ºC wurde von der Bildung eines weißen Niederschlages begleitet.Nach dem Rühren der Reaktionsmischung für eine Stunde, die auf Raumtemperatur zurückgekehrt war, wurde sie unter Vakuum gefiltert und der Filterkuchen viermal mit 50ml (4 x 50 Isopropylalkohol gewaschen. Der sich ergebende Filterkuchen wurde getrocknet, um 33,2g(71% theoretische Ausbeute) des gewünschten Diphosphaspiroundecans als einen weißen Feststoff zu liefern, bei einer Schmelztemperatur von 253-257ºC, Säurezahl 0,31. Dieses Produkt wurde mit Standardverfahren bestätigt.
- Andere analoge spirozyklische Verbindungen wurden durch Substituierung andere Phenole für 2,4,6-Tri- -butylphenol in Beispiel 1 synthetisiert. Diese Phenole waren: Beispiel Phenol 2,6-Di- -butylphenol 2,6-Di- -butyl-methylphenol 2,6-Di- -butyl-4-ethylphenol 2,6-Di- -butyl-4- -butylphenol 2,4-Di- -butylphenol
- Die Synthese der analogen Diphosphaspiroundecane wurde durch ein oder mehrere Standardverfahren bestätigt, wie den Schmelzpunkt, Infrarotspektroskopie (IR), kernmagnetische Resonanz-Spektroskopie(NMR) und Massenspektroskopie.Die auf diese Weise hergestellten Verbindungen wurden in der Untersuchung verwendet, die in den folgenden Beispielen erörtert wird.
- Die Stabilisationswirksamkeit von verschieden substituierten 3,9-Bis(2,6-di- -butyl-4-alkylphenoxy)-2,4,8,10-tetraoxa- 3,9-diphosphaspiro[5.5]undecanen während der Herstellung von linearem Polyethylen niedriger Dichte (LLDPE) wurde durch Einverleibung der Spirodiphosphite in Unipol Verfahrensharz GR-7042, das von der Union Carbide Corporation erhältlich ist, ermittelt.Jede Testzusammensetzung schloß auch 500 ppm Kalziumstearat als ein Säure-Neutralisierungsmittel ein.
- Kalziumstearat und Diphosphaspiroundecan in Pulverform oder jedes andere Phosphit, das anwesend war, wurde durch trokkenes Mischen für 45 Minuten in einem Turbula-Mischer in das GR-7042-Pulver einverleibt.Die trocken gemischte Harzmixtur wurde bei einer Lagertemperatur von 525ºC durch einen ein Inch Ein- Schneckenextruder, ausgerüstet mit einer Zweistufen-Schnecke, ausgestattet mit einem Maddox-Mischer, extrudiert.Das Extrudat wurde pelletisiert und reextrudiert bei einer Gesamtzahl von sieben Extrusionen. Material wurde von der ersten, dritten, fünften und siebten Extrusion entnommen.Der Schmelzfluß dieser Proben wurde gemessen, wobei das ASTM-Testverfahren D-1238, Bedingung E angewandt wurde.
- Der Schmelzfluß von LLDPE nimmt allgemein mit jeder Extrusion ab, da das Polymer einer Zersetzung durch eine insgesamte Vernetzungsreaktion unterliegt, wobei der Schmelzfluß abnimmt. Die Wirksamkeit eines Stabilisierungsmittels läßt sich daher durch Messung seines Schmelzflusses der sukzessiven Extrusionen und der Bestimmung, wie nahe der Schmelzfluß der sukzessiven Extrusionen dem Schmelzfluß der anfänglichen Extrusion ist, feststellen.
- Die Farbe der entnommenen Proben wurde gemessen, wobei ein Hunter-Farbmesser und Standardtechniken, wie sie für die Benutzung dieser Geräte vorgeschrieben sind, verwendet wurde und die Veränderung des Gelb - Indexes (YI) zwischen der ersten und der siebten Probe jeder Extrusion wurden verlichen.Die Farbmessungen wurden an Scheiben mit einem Durchmesser von einem achtel Inch mal ein und einem halben Inch vorgenommen, die bei 330ºF aus den entnommenen Pellets preßgeformt worden waren. Höhere Werte zeigen mehr Farbentwicklung an.
- Zur Erleichterung werden die Diphosphaspiroundecan-Produkte der Beispiele 1, 4-8 wie unten in Tabelle I angegeben, bezeichnet. (Alle sind 3,9-Bis(di-oder tri-alkylphenoxy)- 2,4,8,10-tetraoxa-3,9-diphosphaspiro[5.5]undecane.Jedoch sind alle Zahlenangaben mit Ausnahme der von den Alkylsubstitenten auf dem Phenoxy-Anteil zur Erleichterung unten weggelassen worden).
- Die Ergebnisse des Schmelzflusses und der Farbuntersuchung des LLDPE, das diese Verbindungen enthält, sind in Teilen pro hundert Teile Harz angegeben.Die Uberschriften"erste, dritte,fünfte,siebte" zeigen die Anzal der Extrusionen an, denen die Zusammensetzung unterworfen worden war, als die Probe entnommen wurde."TBPP" bezeichnet Tris(2,4-di- - butyl-phenyl)phosphit, einen nichtzyklischen Phosphitstabilisator, der in der Technik bekannt ist.
- Die 3,9-Bis(2,6-di- -butyl-4-alkylphenoxy)-2,4,8,10-tetraoxa- 3,9-diphosphaspiro[5.5]undecane der Tabelle 1 und der vorliegenden Erfindung wurden in Poly(propylen) als Prozeß - stabilisatoren durch Vergleich ihrer Wirksamkeit in einem unstabilisierten Ziegler-Natta-Prozeß-Harz,Profax 6501 von Hercules, bestimmt.Das Harzpulver wurde zusammen mit 250ppm Pentaerythritol-tetrakis[3-(3,5-di- -butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)propionat], 500ppm Kalziumstearat und 500ppm Phosphit gewogen. Die sich ergebende trockene Mischung wurde 45 Minuten lang in einem Turbula-Mischer gemischt.Die Trockenmischung wurde dann bei einer Lagertemperatur von 525ºF extrudiert, um Pellets zu bilden.Die Pellets wurden unter denselben Bedingungen bei einer Gesamtzahl von fünf Extrusionen reextrudiert.Pelletproben wurden der ersten, dritten und fünften Extrusion entnommen und die Schmelzflußverzögerung gemessen, wobei ein ASTM D-1238,Bedingung L verwendet wurde.
- Farbmessungen wurden auf ein achtel Inch Farbscheiben, preßgeformt von den Pellets aus der ersten und fünften Extrusion, vorgenommen.Die Farbmessungen wurden auf einem Hunter-Farbmesser ausgeführt. Der Gelb-Index (YI) der Proben wurde verwendet, um die relative Farbe der Probestücke zu vergleichen. Die Ergebnisse der Untersuchung erscheinen in Tabelle III.
- Die Feuchtigkeitsempfindlichkeit der spirozyklischen Diphosphite von Tabelle I und von TBPP wurde geprüft, indem die Verbindungen in eine atmosphärische Kammer eingebracht wurden, die auf etwa 80% relative Feuchtigkeit eingestellt war.Die Proben wurden in der Kammer belassen und auf Gewichtszunahme und Erhöhung des Säurewertes (AV)mit Bezug auf die Zeit überwacht. (Gewichtszunahme ist ein Anzeichen der hygroskopischen Natur der Verbindung und kann die Hydrolyse der Probe widerspiegeln, während eine Erhöhung des Säurewertes anzeigen kann, daß eine gewisse Hydrolyse in der Probe stattfindet).Die erforderliche Zeit für die Verbindungen, üm 1% an Gewicht zuzunehmen, während sie der Feuchtigkeit ausgesetzt waren, wurde als Versagungspunkt ausgewiesen. Die Ergebnisse sind unten in Tabelle IV angegeben.Der Säurewert wurde nach dem Na-butoxid/Methylenchlorid-Verfahren sowohl bevor die Probe in die atmosphärische Kammer eingebracht wurde (bezeichnet als"Anfangs-AV") als auch nachdem die Probe eine Gewichtzunahme von 1% erreicht hatte (bezeichnet als "End - AV") gemessen.
- Untersuchungen von Verbindung A, in Übereinstimmung mit einer Ausführungsform der Erfindung, und TBPP und Verbindung E, nicht Gegenstand der Erfindung, wurden in GR7042 LLDPE, das 300 ppm Octadecyl-3,5-di-t-butyl-4-hydroxy- hydrocinnamat und 500 ppm Kalziumstearat enthielt, getestet. Die Ergebnisse dieser Untersuchung sind unten in Tabelle V angegeben.
- Zusätzliche Untersuchungen wurden unter Verwendung von Profax 6501 Poly(propylen)Harz durchgeführt. Die untersuchten Zusammensetzungen schlossen 0,025 phr Pentaerythritoltetrakis[3-(3,5-di- -butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)propionat] und 0,05 phr Ca-Stearat ein. Die Menge der zusätzlichen anwesenden Verbindung und die Ergebnisse werden unten in Tabelle VI angegeben.
- Die Daten in Tabelle V, oben, zeigen auf, daß 3,9-Bis (2,4,6-tri- -butylphenoxy)-2,4,8,10-tetraoxa-3,9- diphosphaspiroundecan (Verbindung A) eine erheblich verbesserte Feuchtigkeitsbeständigkeit aufweisen kann, wie es aufgrund Gewichtszunahme im Vergleich zu anderen ähnlichen, analogen oder homologen Diphosphaspiroundecanen gemessen wurde, während die Daten in Tabellen II,III,V und VI anzeigen, daß gute Polymer-Schmelzfluß-und Farbstabilisierungs-Eigenschaften aufrechterhalten wurden.
- Die obigen Beispiele werden vorgelegt, um verschiedene Aspekte der Erfindung darzustellen. Die Erfindung wird nur durch die folgenden Ansprüche definiert und wird nicht im Umfang auf die besonderen Ausführungsformen oder Parameter, die als Modifizierungen dieser Erläuterungen beschrieben werden und für den Fachmann im Hinblick auf die vorliegende Offenbarung offensichtlich sind, begrenzt. Claims (10)
1. Zusammensetzung, die zur Verbesserung der
Schmelzflußstabilität und/oder Farbstabilität von Polymeren geeignet ist,
enthaltend ein Diphosphaspiroundecan der allgemeinen Formel
worin jedes R¹, R², R³, R&sup4;, R&sup5; und R&sup6; ein tertiärer Alkylrest
ist.
2. Zusammensetzung nach Anspruch 1, worin R¹, R², R³, R&sup4;, R&sup5;
und R&sup6; unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt sind aus der Gruppe
bestehend aus C&sub4; bis etwa C&sub1;&sub2; tertiären Alkylresten.
3. Zusammensetzung nach Anspruch 2, worin R¹, R², R³, R&sup4;, R&sup5;
und R&sup6; unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt sind aus der Gruppe
bestehend aus t-Butyl-, t-Pentyl- , 1,1,4,4-Tetramethyl-butyl-,
t-Dodecyl- und 1-Methylcyclohexyl-Resten.
4. Zusammensetzung nach Anspruch 3, worin R¹, R², R³, R&sup4;, R&sup5;
und R&sup6; t-Butyl-Reste sind.
5. Zusammensetzung nach Anspruch 1, worin R¹, R², R³, R&sup4;, R&sup5;
und R&sup6; so ausgewählt sind, daß sie den gleichen tertiären
Alkylrest darstellen.
6. Polymer-Zusammensetzung enthaltend ein Polymer und eine
ausreichende Menge Diphosphaspiroundecan nach Anspruch 1 zur
Verbesserung der Schmelzflußstabilität und/oder der
Farbstabilität des Polymeren.
7. Zusammensetzung nach Anspruch 6, worin das Polymere
ausgewählt ist aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Polyamid,
Polyolefin, Polyester, Polyphenylenäther, Polycarbonat,
Polyvinylchloriden und Styrolharzen, sowie Mischungen derselben.
8. Zusammensetzung nach Anspruch 7, worin das Polymer
ausgewählt ist aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Polyäthylen,
Polyamid 6, Polyamid 6/6, 6/10, 6/9, 6/12 und 4/6, Polypropylen,
Polyäthylenterephthalat, Polybutylenterephthalat, Polycarbonat,
Polyphenylenäther, Polystyrol, Polyvinylchlorid,
schlagmodifiziertes Polystyrol und ABS Pfropfcopolymerharze und
Mischungen derselben.
9. Zusammensetzung nach Anspruch 6, worin die
Diphosphaspiroundecan-Verbindung in einer Menge von etwa 0,01 bis etwa 2
Gewichtsteilen pro 100 Gewichtsteile Harz (phr) vorhanden ist.
10. Zusammensetzung nach Anspruch 6, worin das
Diphosphaspiroundecan in einer Menge von etwa 0,01 bis etwa 1 Gewichtsteil
pro 100 Gewichtsteile Harz (phr) vorhanden ist.
