Description
- Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft Katheter, die in Blutgefäße eingesetzt werden und für diagnostische Zwecke oder für die medizinische Behandlung dienen.
- Intravaskuläre Katheter dienen in der medizinischen Anwendung für unterschiedliche diagnostische Verfahren und Behandlungsverfahren. Diese umfassen die Injektion eines strahlungsundurchlässigen Farbstoffs, die Benutzung von Ballonkathetern, die Benutzung von Laserkathetern usw. in Arterien in dem Herz-, Gehirn-Bauch- und peripheren Bereich. Führungskatheter dienen dazu, Ballon- und Laserkatheter und andere medizinische Geräte in die gewünschte Arterie zu bringen. Im typischen Fall wird der in dem diagnostischen oder Behandlungsverfahren benutzte Katheter oder der zur Führung des Ballon- oder Laserkatheters benutzte Führungskatheter in eine Arterie in dem Bein oder Arm des Patienten eingesetzt und oft mit Hilfe eines Führungsdrahtes in dem Katheter durch verschiedene Arterien hindurchgeschlängelt, bis die Führungsspitze des Katheters die gewünschte Stelle erreicht. Das Ende des Katheters und/oder das Ende des Führungsdrahtes ist in einer gewünschten Krümmung geformt, so daß man während der Einführung durch Drehung des Katheters um seine Längsachse den Katheter in die gewünschten arteriellen Verzweigungen einführen kann, damit er sein Ziel erreicht. Die Spitze oder der distale Endabschnitt des Katheters ist aus einem relativ flexiblen und weichen Material gebildet, um Verletzungen an den Arterienwandungen zu vermeiden und die Biegung zwecks Einführung in den gewünschten Arterienzweig zu ermöglichen.
- Der Körperteil des Katheters muß einen hohen Torsionsmodul und hohe Säulenfestigkeit bei gewünschter Flexibiltät haben, um einen gewundenen Weg durch die Arterien ohne Umknicken zu bewältigen. Der hohe Torsionsmodul und die Starrheit sind erforderlich, um Drehbewegung von dem proximalen zu dem distalen Ende des Katheters zu übertragen. Bei einem relativ geringeren Torsionsmodul erzeugt die Drehung des proximalen Endes in dem Katheter eine Federtorsionskraft, bis der Rotationswiderstand des distalen Endes überwunden wird und das distale Ende plötzlich über seinen beabsichtigten Drehwinkel hinaus schnellt oder rotiert. Je höher daher der Torsionsmodul in der Länge des Katheters ohne Änderung der Biegsamkeit ist, umso leichter ist es für den Arzt, den Katheter zu seinem vorgesehenen Ziel zu steuern. Eine hohe Säulenfestigkeit oder Widerstand geben Kompression in der Längsrichtung ist nötig, um den Vorschub des Katheters entlang den Arterien zu ermöglichen oder medizinische Geräte in den Führungskathetern gegen Reibungswiderstand voranzubringen.
- Der hohe Torsionsmodul uid die hohe Säulenfestigkeit können in Kathetern dadurch geschaffen werden, daß man in dem Körperteil zwischen der inneren und äußeren Rohrschicht mit der gewünschten Biegsamkeit ein Edelstahlgeflecht ausbildet oder den Körperteil aus einem Rohrmaterial bildet, das die gewünschte Torsions- und Säulenstarrheit hat. Typische Materialien zur Bildung der inneren und äußeren Schicht bei bekannten Kathetern mit Geflecht sind Polyurethan oder Polyäthylen. US-Patent Nr. 4,563,181 von Wijayarathna et al. beschreibt die Bildung des Körperteils des Katheters aus Nylon-11; eine weiche rohrförmige Spitze aus einer Mischung von Nylon-11 und einem Polyäther-Polyamid-Copolymeren mit Esterbindungen, allgemein als Polyätherblockamid (PEBA) bekannt, ist auf das distale Ende des rohrförmigen Körperteils aufgeschmolzen.
- Die Verwendung einer Beschichtung von Hydrogel-Material einschließlich Polyvinylpyrrolidon-Polyurethan-Mischpolymeren auf Kathetern zwecks Verringerung der Einführungsreibung und Thrombogenizität ist in dem US-Patent Nr. 4,100,309 von Micklus et al. beschrieben. Das angegebene Hydrogel-Material wurde mit Erfolg zur Beschichtung von Polyurethankathetern und Silikon-Wunddränagen eingesetzt. Es wurde beschrieben, daß das Hydrogel-Material auch an Polyvinylchlorid, Polymethylmethacrylat, Polycarbonat, Polyäthylenterephthalat, Polybutylenterephthalat, Polytetramethylenterephthalat, Latexgummi und Polyisopren haftet. Das Hydrogel- Material kann auf Fluorkohlenstoffe und Polyolefine aufgebracht werden, die einer Oberflächenbehandlung unterzogen wurden, um eine genügende Benetzung mit und Bindung der Beschichtung zu gewährleisten. Die Beschichtung quillt und entwickelt einen niedrigen Reibungskoeffizienten, wenn sie dem Wasser ausgesetzt wird.
- Obgleich die bekannten intravaskulären Katheter und die Verfahren ihres Einsatzes im Laufe der letzten Jahre verbessert wurden, bleibt die Notwendigkeit einer weiteren Verbesserung, um eine Optimierung der Kathetereigenschaften zu erreichen. Die begrenzten Bereiche der Starrheit, Flexibilität und Festigkeit der Materialien, die antithrombogene und andere blutverträgliche Eigenschaften besitzen, führen bei den bekannten intravaskulären Kathetern zu Beschränkungen bei dem Torsionsmodul, der Säulenfestigkeit und Biegsamkeit. Ferner sind die bekannten Katheter kostspielig herzustellen.
- Führungskatheter insbesondere erfordern innere Oberflächen mit einem niedrigen Reibungskoeffizienten, so daß Führungsdrähte, Ballonkatheter, Laserkatheter und andere medizinische Geräte leicht eingeführt und in den Arterien des Herz-, Gehirn- oder Bauchbereichs positioniert werden können. Üblicherweise haben diese Katheter eine innere Schicht, die aus einem Fluoropolymer, wie Polytetrafluoräthylen, fluoriertem Äthylen-Propylen-Copolymer oder einem Perfluoroalkoxyharz gebildet ist. Die Außenschicht des Katheters besteht gewöhnlich aus Polyurethan oder Polyäthylen, und geflochtene Drähte werden oft zwischen den beiden Schichten angeordnet, um einen geeigneten Torsionsmodul und ausreichende Säulenfestigkeit zu erreichen.
- Diese bekannten Führungskatheter haben mehrere Nachteile, so etwa, daß sie teuer sind, ein kleines Lumen haben und ihre mechanischen Eigenschaften mit der Zeit verlieren. Infolge der Unähnlichkeit zwischen den Materialien der inneren und äußeren Schicht sind besondere Verfahrensstufen, wie etwa Ätzen und Aufbringen von Klebstoffen erforderlich, um zu versuchen, die beiden Schichten aneinander zu binden. Ferner erfordert das Strangpressen von Fluoropolymeren eine spezielle Ausrüstung und die Überwachung der Umwelt. Dies führt zu erhöhten Kosten. Die Fluoro/Urethan- und Fluoro/Äthylen-Verbundstoffe sind im allgemeinen weicher als andere für Katheterkörper benutzte Polymere, und daher sind dickere Wandungen, z.B. 0,014 bis 0,018 Zoll (0,35 bis 0,46 mm) nötig, um die gewünschte mechanische Festigkeit zu schaffen. Dies verringert bei gegebener Größe des Katheteraußendurchmessers die maximale Größe des Lumens, wodurch die Größe des medizinischen Geräts und die Kontrastmittelmenge, die den Katheter passieren können, begrenzt wird. Fluoropolymere erweichen ferner bei Körpertemperaturen und verlieren ihre Starrheit und vorgebildete Krümmung, was ihre Benutzung erschwert.
- Die Erfindung betrifft summarisch einen intravaskulären Katheter mit einem rohrförmigen Körper aus innerer und äußerer Schicht mit einem zwischen der inneren und äußeren Schicht angeordneten Verstärkungsgeflecht, wobei die innere und äußere Schicht aus einer Mischung aus Nylon und einem Polyäther-Polyamid-Copolymeren mit Esterbindungen in so gewählten Verhältnissen gebildet sind, daß die für den Katheter gewünschten Eigenschaften erreicht werden, und einer weichen rohrförmigen Spitze, die aus einem Gemisch von Nylon und einem Polyäther-Polyamid-Copolymeren mit Esterbindungen in so gewählten Verhältnissen gebildet ist, daß eine relativ flexible und weiche Spitze erzeugt wird.
- Bei einem anderen Aspekt der Erfindung ist ein Führungskatheter mit einer inneren Schicht aus einer Mischung aus einem Nylon und einem Polyäther-Polyamid-Copolymeren mit Esterbindungen auf ihrer inneren Oberfläche mit einem schlüpfrigen Hydrogel-Polymer material, wie etwa einem Copolymeren von Polyurethan und Polyvinylpyrrolidon oder einem Copolymeren von Polyäthylenoxid und Polyhydroxyäthylmethacrylat, beschichtet.
- Eine andere Aufgabe der Erfindung ist der Aufbau eines intravaskulären Katheters, der mit sehr verschiedenen Torsions- und Biegungseigenschaften hergestellt werden kann, ohne daß sich die Rohrwandstärke ändert.
- Ein anderes Ziel der Erfindung ist die Steigerung der Gleitfähigkeit von intravaskulären Kathetern im allgemeinen und Führungskathetern im besonderen.
- Ein Merkmal der Erfindung ist die Feststellung, daß Mischungen aus einem Nylon und Polyäther-Polyamid-Copolymeren mit Esterbindungen so formuliert werden können, daß ein breiter Bereich von für die Innen- und Außenschicht eines Geflechtkatheters geeigneten Eigenschaften erzeugt werden kann.
- Ein anderes Merkmal der Erfindung ist die Feststellung, daß ein Hydrogel mit einem Copolymeren aus Polyurethan und Polyvinylpyrrolidon an Mischungen aus einem Nylon und einem estergebundenen Polyäther-Polyamid-Copolymeren haftet, so daß intravaskuläre Katheter mit überlegener Gleitfähigkeit und antithrombogener Eigenschaft gebildet werden können.
- Ein Vorteil der Erfindung besteht darin, daß die Herstellungskosten intravaskulärer Katheter verringert werden können.
- Ein anderer Vorteil der Erfindung besteht darin, daß unterschiedliche optimale Eigenschaften des Torsionsmoduls, der Flexibilität und der Schlüpfrigkeit für entsprechend verschiedene Katheter erreicht werden können, ohne die Verhältnisse von Lumen zu Außendurchmesser zu verringern oder unverträgliche oder sehr unterschiedliche Materialien für die verschiedenen Katheter einzusetzen.
- Andere Ziele, Vorteile und Merkmale der Erfindung werden aus der folgenden Beschreibung der bevorzugten Ausführungsform in Verbindung mit der Zeichnung deutlich.
- Fig. 1 ist eine Seitenansicht des weggebrochenen distalen und proximalen Endteils eines intravaskulären Führungskatheters gemäß der Erfindung.

- Wie in Fig. 1 gezeigt, ist eine Ausführungsform der Erfindung ein allgemein mit 20 bezeichneter Führungskatheter, der einen rohrförmigen Körper 22 und eine an dem distalen Ende des Körpers angeformte weiche Spitze 24 hat. Zweckmäßigerweise ist an dem proximalen Ende des rohrförmigen Körpers 22 ein Luer 26 angebracht. Wie in den Fig. 2 und 3 gezeigt, ist der Körper 22 aus einer inneren Schicht 30 und einer äußeren Schicht 32 gebildet, zwischen denen ein Verstärkungsgeflecht 34 eingebettet ist. Die innere und äußere Schicht 30 und 32 und die weiche Spitze 24 sind aus Mischungen aus einem Nylon und einem Polyäther-Polyamid Copolymeren mit Esterbindungen in so ausgewählten Verhältnissen gebildet, daß die für den Katheter gewünschten Eigenschaften erreicht werden. Ferner ist eine schlüpfrige Hydrogel-Beschichtung 36 an die inneren Oberflächen des Katheters gebunden.
- Das in dem gemischten Material eingesetzte Nylon ist unplastifiziertes Nylon-11. Nylon-11 diente für sich zur Bildung eines Katheter-Körperteils mit geeignetem Torsionsmodul, geeigneter Flexibilität und Säulenfestigkeit. Nylon-11 läßt jedoch keinen Bereich des Moduls und der Flexibilitätseigenschaften zu, so daß der Torsionsmodul und die Flexibilitätseigenschaften für verschiedene Katheter ohne Änderung der Rohrwandstärke verändert werden könnten.
- Die Mischung von Nylon-11 mit einem estergebundenen Polyäther-Polyamid-Copolymeren zur Bildung des weichen flexiblen Spitzenmaterials, das mit Nylon-11 verschmelzbar ist, wurde in dem US-Patent 4,563,181 von Wijayarathna et al. beschrieben. Es wurde nun gefunden, daß ein Gemisch aus Nylon-11 mit einem Polyäther-Polyamid-Copolymeren mit Esterbindungen mit einem Verstärkungsgeflecht auch dazu dienen kann, einen Katheterkörperteil mit optimalem Torsionsmodul und optimalen Flexibilitätseigenschaften zu bilden. Ferner können unterschiedliche Prozentgehalte an Nylon-11 und Copolymerem in der Mischung für verschiedene Katheter und für die innere und äußere Schicht in dem Katheterkörper ausgewählt werden, um die physikalischen Eigenschaften der verschiedenen Katheter zu optimieren. Da die physikalischen Eigenschaften der verschiedenen Katheter nur durch Änderung der Anteile von Nylon-11 und Copolymerem optimiert werden können, wird die Herstellung der verschiedenen Katheter vereinfacht und weniger kostspielig. Dies steht im Gegensatz zu dem Stand der Technik, bei dem entweder die physikalischen Eigenschaften der verschiedenen Katheter durch gemeinsame mittlere Werte charakterisiert waren oder kostspielige Herstellungsanlagen für die verschiedenen Materialien benutzt werden mußten.
- Das Polyäther-Polyamid-Copolymermaterial mit Esterbindungen ist allgemein als Polyätherblockamid (PEBA) bekannt. Dieses Copolymere wird chemisch dargestellt als
- worin PA ein Polyamid und PE ein Polyäther ist und N eine ganze Zahl größer als 1 ist, die die Anzahl der Blöcke der Copolymer- Molekulareinheiten in der Molekularformel des Copolymeren darstellt. Das Copolymere ist im Handel in verschiedenen Molekulargewichten oder Formulierungen erhältlich, die durch ihre physikalischen Eigenschaften, wie die Shore-Härte, Zugfestigkeit und Dehnung gekennzeichnet sind. Copolymere aus Polyamid und Polyäther mit einer Shore-Härte in dem Bereich von 25D bis 70D sind im allgemeinen für die Verwendung in Führungskathetern geeignet. Bevorzugte PEBA-Copolymere zur Mischung mit Nylon-11 zwecks Bildung flexibler Spitzen haben eine Shore-Härte in dem Bereich von 25D bis 55D, und bevorzugte PEBA-Copolymere zur Mischung mit Nylon-11 für die Bildung der inneren und äußeren Schicht der Körperteile haben eine Shore-Härte in dem Bereich von 40D bis 65D. Nylon-11 und PEBA-Copolymeres können unter Bildung von Mischungen gemischt werden, die zur Herstellung der Spitze, der inneren Körperschicht und der äußeren Körperschicht des Katheters dienen, wobei das PEBA-Copolymere in dem Bereich von 10 bis 90 Gew.-% des Gemisches liegt. Für die weiche flexible Spitze 24 enthält die Nylon-PEBA-Mischung vorzugsweise 50 bis 90 Gew.-% PEBA-Copolymeres, und für die Schichten 30 und 32 enthält die Nylon-PEBA-Mischung vorzugsweise 30 bis 90 Gew.-% PEBA-Copolymeres. Die Prozentgehalte des PEBA-Copolymeren in den Schichten 30 und 32 können unterschiedlich gewählt werden, um die Kathetereigenschaften zu optimieren. Höhere Prozentgehalte des PEBA-Copolymeren in der äußeren Schicht 32 erhöhen die Flexibilität des Katheterkörpers, aber verringern auch den Torsionsmodul und die Säulenfestigkeit. Geringere Prozentgehalte des PEBA-Copolymeren in der inneren Schicht 30 können die Abnahme des Torsionsmoduls und der Säulenfestigkeit zum Teil kompensieren. Umgekehrt führen geringere Prozentgehalte des PEBA-Copolymeren in der äußeren Schicht 32 zu einem erhöhten Torsionsmodul und erhöhter Säulenfestigkeit. Im allgemeinen ergibt ein geringerer Prozentgehalt PEBA-Copolymeres in der Innenschicht 30 strukturelle Festigkeit zur Unterstützung des Geflechts 34 während der schlängelnden Einführung bei minimaler Wanddicke.
- Wahlweise können die Polymerenmischung oder -mischungen in der Spitze 24, der Innenschicht 30 und/oder der Außenschicht 32 strahlungsundurchlässig gemacht werden, indem man das Gemisch oder die Gemische mit einem strahlungsundurchlässigen Material mischt. Geeignete strahlungsundurchlässige Materialien, die mit den Polymerenmischungen gemischt werden können, sind Wismutsubcarbonat, Bariumsulfat, Wismuttrioxid und Wismutoxychlorid. Im allgemeinen bilden diese strahlungsundurchlässigen Materialien 5 bis 50 Gew.-% des Gemisches.
- Das Verstärkungsgeflecht 34 besteht aus irgendeinem geeigneten Fasermaterial mit hoher Zugfestogkeit, das auf die innere Rohrschicht 30 gewickelt werden kann, um ein Geflecht zu bilden, das dann durch Extrusion der äußeren Schicht überdeckt wird. Ein geeignetes Fasermaterial ist Edelstahldraht. Andere geeignete Materialien zur Bildung von Geflechtfasern sind Aramide, etwa jene, die unter dem Warenzeichen KEVLAR von E.I. Du Pont vertrieben werden, und Nickel-Chrom-Legierungen.
- Die schlüpfrige Hydrogel-Schicht 36 ist ein bioverträgliches Material, etwa ein Copolymeres aus Polyurethan und Polyvinylpyrrolidon oder vernetztes Copolymeres aus Polyäthylenoxid und Polyhydroxyäthylmethacrylat. Das Hydrogel-Material ist im Handel in Lösungen mit 1 bis 3 Gew.-Teilen Polyvinylpyrrolidon auf 1 Teil Polyurethan erhältlich. Bevorzugte Hydrogel-Materialien für Katheter haben 2 bis 3 Gew.-Teile Polyvinylpyrrolidon auf 1 Teil Polyurethan. Das Hydrogel-Copolymere wird in einem Gemisch flüssiger organischer Lösungsmittel gelöst und durch Hindurchströmenlassen der Lösung durch das Katheterlumen oder durch Tauchen des Katheters in ein Bad der Lösung oder durch Sprühen der Lösung auf die Oberflächen des Katheters aufgebracht, wobei sicherzustellen ist, daß die gesamte innere Oberfläche des Katheters zur Bildung einer dünnen Schicht mit der Lösung in Berührung kommt. Das Tauchen und Sprühen erlaubt es auch, die äußere Oberfläche zu beschichten. Die flüssige Schicht wird dann getrocknet und in einem Ofen unter Bildung der Schicht 36 gehärtet, die etwa 1 mil (0,025 mm) dick ist. Wenn die Schicht 36 mit Wasser benetzt wird, z.B. während der Spülung des Katheters mit Salzlösung oder Röntgenstrahl-Kontrastmittel vor der Verwendung, quillt die Schicht und wird dabei schlüpfrig.
- Bei einem Beispiel eines Führungskatheters mit einer französischen Größe 8, d.h. Außendurchmesser von 0,105 Zoll (2,67 mm), wird die Innenschicht 30 in herkömmlicher Weise durch Extrusion einer Mischung aus 60 Gew.-% Nylon-11 und 40 Gew.-% PEBA-Copolymerem mit einer Shore-Härte von 55D zu einem Rohr mit einem Lumendurchmesser in dem Bereich von 0,078 bis 0, 082 Zoll (1,98 bis 2,08 mm) und einer Wanddicke in dem Bereich von 0,004 bis 0,006 Zoll (0,10 bis 0,15 mm) geformt. Zur Bildung eines Geflechts werden Edelstahldrähte auf das Rohr gewickelt. Dann wird ein Mantel aus einer Mischung von 60 Gew.-% Nylon-11 und 40 Gew.-% PEBA- Copolymerem mit einer Shore-Härte von 55D in herkömmlicher Weise unter Bildung der Außenschicht 32 extrudiert, so daß ein rohrförmiger Körper 22 mit eingebettetem Geflecht 32 resultiert. Die weiche Spitze 24 ist ein Rohrabschnitt mit einem Lumendurchmesser von 0,078 bis 0,082 Zoll (1,98 bis 2,08 mm) und einem Außendurchmesser von 0,104 Zoll (2,67 mm), das durch Extrusion eines Gemisches aus 15 Gew.-% Nylon-11 und 85 Gew.-% PEBA-Copolymerem mit einer Shore-Härte von 40D in herkömmlicher Weise gebildet ist. Der Körper und die Spitze werden thermisch und/oder chemisch miteinander verbunden. Bei dem in den Fig. 2 und 3 gezeigten Beispiel sind die verbundenen Stoßflächen zunächst mit zusammenpassenden Abschrägungen ausgebildet, so daß zwecks Steigerung der Bindungsfestigkeit vergrößerte Bindungsflächen geschaffen werden. Das Lumen des Katheters wird mit einer Lösung von Polyurethan- Polyvinylpyrrolidon-Copolymerem in einer Mischung organischer Lösungsmittel gespült, worauf der Katheter luftgetrocknet und dann thermisch gehärtet wird. Anschließend wird dem distalen Endstück des Katheters die gewünschte Krümmung gegeben, z.B. durch Einsetzen einer Dorn- oder Drahtform der gewünschten Gestalt, und der Katheter wird erneut bis zu 10 Minuten in einem Ofen auf eine Temperatur von etwa 100 bis 160ºC erwärmt und dann zur Fixierung der gewünschten Kathetergestalt abgekühlt. Vor oder nach dem Durchführen der Biegung wird dann in herkömmlicher Weise ein Luer 26 angebracht. Der Katheter kann dann sterilisiert und für den Verkauf und die anschließende Benutzung in einer versiegelten Packung verpackt werden.
- Wie in Fig. 4 durch die Katheter 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57 und 58 bildlich dargestellt ist, werden intravaskuläre Führungskatheter in unterschiedlichen Biegungen und Längen der Spitze hergestellt, um verschiedenen entsprechenden Notwendigkeiten zur Katheterisierung verschiedener Arterien und der Benutzung durch Ärzte, die eine spezielle Krümmung bevorzugen, zu entsprechen.
- Während die oben beschriebenen Katheter Führungskatheter waren, kann die Erfindung auch bei anderen Typen von intravaskulären Kathetern Anwendung finden, wie etwa diagnostischen Kathetern oder Kathetern für medizinische Behandlungen, die mit oder ohne Führungskatheter benutzt werden. Führungskatheter werden im allgemeinen hergestellt in französischen Größen 7 und 8 (2,3 und 2,7 mm Außendurchmesser), aber andere intravaskuläre Katheter werden hergestellt in Größen bis herab zur französischen Größe 4 (1,3 mm äusserer Durchmesser). Auch diese Katheter können die Hydrogel-Beschichtung haben, die nur auf der äusseren Oberfläche etwa durch Aufsprühen der Lösung des Hydrogel- Materials gebildet wird.
- Da viele Abweichungen, Modifizierungen und Änderungen im Detail an den oben beschriebenen Ausführungsformen vorgenommen werden können, soll der gesamte oben beschriebene und in den beigefügten Zeichnungen gezeigte Sachverhalt nur als für die Erfindung beispielhaft und nicht in einem beschränkenden Sinne ausgelegt werden.
Claims (13)
1. Intravaskulärer Katheter mit
einem rohrförmigen Körper mit innerer und äußerer
Polymerschicht, zwischen denen eine verstärkende Geflechtschicht
ausgebildet ist, und
einer weichen, flexiblen, rohrförmigen Spitze, die aus einem
Polymeren gebildet ist und mit einem Ende an ein Ende des
rohrförmigen Körpers gebunden ist,
wobei die Polymeren der genannten inneren und äusseren Schicht
und der Spitze eine Mischung aus Nylon und einem Copolymeren aus
Polyäther und Polyamid mit Esterbindungen umfaßt.
2. Katheter nach Anspruch 1, bei dem die verbundenen Enden
des rohrförmigen Körpers und der rohrförmigen Spitze
zusammenpassende, abgeschrägte Stoßflächen haben.
3. Katheter nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, bei dem das Nylon Nylon-11
ist und das Copolymere mit Esterbindungen aus Polyäther und
Polyamid ein Polyätherblockamid ist.
4. Katheter nach Anspruch 3, bei dem das Polyätherblockamid
eine Shore-Härte in dem Bereich von 25D bis 70D hat und die
Mischung 10 bis 90 Gew.-% des Copolymeren aus Polyäther und
Polyamid mit Esterbindungen enthält.
5. Katheter nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, bei dem das
Gemisch in dem Polymeren der inneren und äußeren Schicht 30 bis
90 Gew.-% eines Copolymeren aus Polyäther und Polyamid mit
Esterbindungen und mit einer Shore-Härte in dem Bereich von 40D bis
65D enthält und das Polymere der Spitze 50 bis 90 Gew.-% eines
Copolymeren aus Polyäther und Polyamid mit Esterbindungen und
mit einer Shore-Härte in dem Bereich von 25D bis 55D enthält.
6. Katheter nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, bei dem
wenigstens eins der Polymeren der inneren und äusseren Schicht und
der Spitze ein strahlungsundurchlässiges Material enthält.
7. Katheter nach Anspruch 6, bei dem das
strahlungsundurchlässige Material aus der Gruppe ausgewählt ist, die aus
Wismutsubcarbonat, Bariumsulfat, Wismuttrioxid und Wismutoxychlorid
besteht.
8. Katheter nach Anspruch 6 oder Anspruch 7, bei dem das
Polymere der Spitze 5 bis 50 Gew.-% strahlungsundurchlässiges
Material enthält.
9. Katheter nach einem der Ansprüche 6 bis 8, bei dem das
Polymere der inneren oder äußeren Schicht des rohrförmigen
Körpers 5 bis 50 Gew.-% strahlungsundurchlässiges Material enthält.
10. Katheter nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, der ferner
auf wenigstens einer Oberfläche des Katheters eine Beschichtung
aus einem schlüpfrigen Mydrogel aufweist.
11. Katheter nach Anspruch 10, bei dem er ein
Führungskatheter ist und die schlüpfrige Hydrogelbeschichtung auf der inneren
Oberfläche des Katheters gebildet ist.
12. Katheter nach Anspruch 11, bei dem das schlüpfrige
Hydrogel-Material ein Copolymeres aus Polyurethan und
Polyvinylpyrrolidon ist.
13. Katheter nach Anspruch 12, bei dem das Copolymere aus
Polyurethan und Polyvinylpyrrolidon 2 bis 3 Gew.-Teile
Polyvinylpyrrolidon je Teil Polyurethan enthält.
