Description

  • Präparate für die Behandlung von Textilien Es wurde gefunden, daß Mischungen mit einem Gehalt an höhermolekularen Fettsäureamiden oder ihren Substitutionsprodukten, insbesondere auch solchen, die am Stickstoff einen aliphatischen, aromatischen, hydroaromatischen oder heterocyclischen Rest enthalten, oder ihren Salzen und sauren Schwefelsäureestern von höhermolekularen aliphatischen Alkoholen oder Fettsäureoxyalkylamiden oder Salzen dieser Verbindungen mit großem Vorteil für die Behandlung von Textilien verwendet werden können. Geeignet sind beispielsweise die sauren Schwefelsäureester von höhermolekularen aliphatischen Alkoholen, wie Oktyl-, Lauryl-, Myristyl-, Cetyl-, Oleylalkohol oder Octodekandiol. Ferner kommen in Betracht die sauren Schwefelsäureester von Stearinsäureäthanolamid oder Olsäureäthanolamid sowie deren wasserlösliche Salze, z. B. die Alkali-oder Ammoniumsalze. Die genannten sauren Schwefelsäureester enthalten die Schwefelsäureestergruppe an einem der letzten Kohlenstoffatome der Kette gebunden.
  • Die beschriebenen Mischungen eignen sich vorzüglich für die Behandlung von Textilien, z. B. als Netz-, Reinigungs- oder Dispergiermittel sowie als Hilfsmittel beim Walken, Appretieren, Bleichen, Färben oder Mercerisieren. Besonders vorteilhaft ist ihre Anwendung zum Weichmachen von Kunstseide. Man kann die genannten Kondensationsprodukte in Form von fertigen Mischprodukten verwenden, doch ist es auch möglich, die Zusätze getrennt zu den Behandlungsflotten zu geben. In manchen Fällen, z. B. bei der Verwendung von Stearinsäureanilid, hat es sich als zweckmäßig erwiesen, das Anilid erst in organischen Lösungsmitteln zu lösen und der Lösung dann den sauren Schwefelsäureester zuzufügen.
  • Auch organische Lösungsmittel können den beschriebenen Gemischen zugesetzt werden; sie bewirken vielfach eine Verbesserung des Effektes.
  • Beispiel 38 Teile des Natriumsalzes des sauren Schwefelsäueesters des Laurinalkohols werden mit 12 Teilen Stearinsäureamid und Zoo Teilen Wasser unter gutem Rühren bei 8o bis 9o° zu einer homogenen Masse verschmolzen, bis eine Probe in Wasser vollkommen klar .löslich ist. Unter weiterem Rühren läßt man die Schmelze erkalten.
  • Ein ähnliches Produkt wird erhalten durch Mischen von 3o°/Qigen ' Emulsionen von Stearinsäureamid und Olsäureäthanolamidschwefelsäureester.
  • Die so hergestellten Mischungen bzw. kolloiden Lösungen werden in Mengen von o,2 bis 2 g im Liter- angewandt und verleihen insbesondere der Kunstseide einen geschmeidigen und kernigen Griff; wie er allgemein gewünscht wird. Sie können auch im Färb.g,-".

PATENTANSPRUCH Präparate für die Behandlung von Textilien, gekennzeichnet durch einen Gehalt an höhermolekularen Fettsäureamiden oder deren Substitutionsprodukten, insbesondere auch solchen, die am Stickstoff einen aliphatischen, aromatischen, hydroaromatischen oder heterocyclischen Rest enthalten, oder ,deren Salzen und sauren Sehwefelsäureestern von höhermolekularen äliphatischen Alkoholen oder von Fettsäureoxyalkylamiden oder Salzen dieser Verbindungen.
