Description

  • Verfahren zur Herstellung von Spinnschmälzen Bei der Herstellung von Spinnschmälzen ist es von großer Bedeutung, daß dabei eine Emulsion entsteht, die sich auch bei längerem Stehen nicht oder nur sehr langsam entmischt. Im allgemeinen versucht man dies durch Zusatz von Alkali, Ammoniak oder Soda zu erreichen.
  • Es ist bekannt, daß Sulfosäuren oder Salze von aromatischen oder hydrierten aromatischen Sulfosäuren, die Alkyl-, Aryl-, Aralkyl-, Cycloalkylreste allein oder gemischt enthalten, mit Vorteil bei der Herstellung von- Spinnschmälzen verwendet werden können. Nach dem Patent 439 598 kann eine Lösung von alkylierter Cellulose zur Herstellung von gut haltbaren Emulsionen Verwendung finden.
  • Es ist nun gefunden worden, daß man durch gemeinsamen Zusatz von wasserlöslichen Kolloiden, wie alkylierter Cellulose, Leim o. dgl., und der genannten Sulfosäuren oder deren Salzen Spinnschmälzenemulsionen von außerordentlicher Beständigkeit erzielt, wie sie durch Verwendung der Sulfosäuren allein nicht erhalten werden können. Gegenüber der Verwendung reiner Alkylcelluloselösung besteht außerdem der Vorteil, daß mit einer vorzüglichen Emulsionswirkung eine ausgezeichnete Netzwirkung verbunden ist, die ein schnelles und gleichmäßiges Durchtränken des Wollmaterials mit der Schmälzflüssigkeit zur Folge hat. Die Schmälzen können mit oder ohne Zusatz von Alkali hergestellt werden. Das Wollmaterial wird am besten mit einem der üblichen Zerstäubungsapparate befeuchtet. Beispiel.
  • 3oo Teile Wasser werden mit einer wäßrigen Lösung von 2,5 Gewichtsteilen Dimethylcellulose - und 2,5 Gewichtsteilen isopropylnaphthalinsulfosaurem Natrium versetzt. Unter ständigem Rühren läßt man So Gewichtsteile Olein einlaufen, bis dieses eine vollständig gleichmäßige Emulsion bildet. Die so erhaltene Spinnschmälze wird dann wie üblich verwendet.

Claims (1)

  1. PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung von Spinnschmälzen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man zum Emulgieren eine Lösung eines wasserlöslichen Kolloids, z. B. Dimethylcellulose, Leim o. dgl., in Gemeinschaft mit einer Lösung von Sulfosäuren oder Salzen solcher aromatischen oder hydrierten aromatischen Sulfosäuren verwendet, die Alkyl-, Aryl-, Aralkyl-, Cycloalkylreste allein oder gemischt enthalten.
