Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft neue Pyridylphosphorsäurederivate,
ein Verfahren zu ihrer Herstellung und Schädlingsbekämpfungsmittel, die diese Phosphorsäurederivate als Wirkstoffe enthalten.
Es ist bereits bekannt, daß Pyridy!phosphorverbindungen, die am
Pyridylrest Halogenatome tragen, insektizid wirksam sind (DT-PS 1 445 659). Die Dauerwirkung dieser Wirkstoffe ist jedoch,
beispielsweise bei der Bekämpfung von Fliegen, Fruchtfliegen und Raupen, nicht ausreichend.
Die neuen Pyridylphosphorsäurederivate haben die Formel I
in der
X Wasserstoff oder Halogen,
Y Sauerstoff oder Schwefel,
R einen unverzweigten oder verzweigten Alkyl-, Alkenyl- oder Alkinylrest mit bis zu 6 C-Atomen oder einen gegebenenfalls
durch Halogen substituierten Phenyl- oder Benzylrest,
R einen unverzweigten oder verzweigten Alkylrest, einen gegebenenfalls
substituierten Phenylrest, einen Alkyloxy- oder Alkylthiorest mit bis zu 6 Kohlenstoffatomen, einen Alkenyloxy-

Die erfindungsgemäßen Pyridy!phosphorsäurederivate der Formel I
zeigen eine bessere insektizide und akarizide Wirkung als bekannte Verbindungen analoger Konstitution und Wirkungsrichtung. Sie zeichnen
sich insbesondere durch eine gute Dauerwirkung aus.
Die neuen Phosphorsäurederivate können durch Umsetzung von 6-Hydroxy-2,il-dimethyl-pyridin-carbonsäureestern-(3) der Formel II

hergestellt werden.
In den Formeln II und III haben die Symbole R1, R2, R5, X und Y
die oben genannten Bedeutungen. Hai steht für Halogen, insbesondere
aber für Chlor oder Brom.
Die Umsetzung wird vorzugsweise in gegenüber den Reaktionsteilnehmern
inerten Lösungs- oder Verdünnungsmitteln durchgeführt. Hierfür sind beispielsweise besonders geeignet: Äther wie Dioxan,
Tetrahydrofuran, Ketone wie Aceton, Methyläthylketon, Diäthylketon, Nitrile wie Acetonitril, Propionitril, chlorierte aliphatische
Kohlenwasserstoffe wie Dichlormethan, 1,1-Dichloräthan, 1,2-Dichloräthan,
aromatische Kohlenwasserstoffe wie Benzol, Toluol, Xylole und Chlorbenzole, Dimethylformamid, Dimethylsulfoxid.
Der bei der Umsetzung entstehende Halogenwasserstoff kann entweder
durch Einblasen von Inertgas, beispielsweise Stickstoff, aus dem Reaktionsgemisch entfernt oder durch einen Säureakzeptor gebunden

wendet werden. Besonders geeignet sind Alkalicarbonate, Alkalihydrogencarbonate,
beispielsweise Natriumcarbonat, Alkalialkoholate, beispielsweise Natrium- oder Kaliumäthylat, Natrium- oder
Kaliummethylat, aliphatische, aromatische und heterocyclische Amine, beispielsweise Trimethylamin, Triäthylamin, Dimethylanilin,
Dimethylbenzylamin und Pyridin.
In manchen Fällen, beispielsweise bei Einsatz sterisch gehinderter
Verbindungen der Formel II oder III, ist es zur Erhöhung des Umsatzes empfehlenswert, zunächst die Alkalisalze der Verbindungen
der Formel II herzustellen und diese dann anschließend mit den Phosphorsäurederivaten der Formel III umzusetzen.
Zur Umsetzung kann man beide Reaktionspartner in äquimolarem Verhältnis
oder einen der beiden Reaktionspartner im Überschuß einsetzen.
Die Reaktionstemperaturen liegen im Bereich von 0 bis 150 C, zweckmäßigerweise
im Bereich von 50 bis 900C.
Die als Ausgangsverbindungen verwendeten Pyridinderivate der
Formel II können in an sich bekannter Weise durch Umsetzung von Isodehydracetsäureestern der Formel IV mit Ammoniak erhalten werden
(Ann. Chem, 2jJ9, 173 - 186 (I890)).

Dabei haben die Substituenten R und X die oben genannten Bedeutungen.
Zur Darstellung der Pyridinderivate der Formel II werden die Isodehydracetsäureester
der Formel IV, wie literaturbekannt, ohne Verwendung eines Lösungsmittels zunächst bei 20 C und zur Beendi-

gung der Reaktion bei 1500C mit Ammoniak begast. Das erhaltene
Reaktionsgut wird in Methanol aufgenommen und die Pyridinderivate der Formel II mit Äther oder Petroläther ausgefällt.
Die neuen Verbindungen fallen in Form von Ölen an, die sich meist nicht unzersetzt destillieren lassen, jedoch durch sogenanntes
"Andestillieren", d.h. durch längeres Erhitzen unter vermindertem Druck auf mäßig erhöhte Temperaturen,von den letzten flüchtigen
Anteilen befreit und auf diese Weise gereinigt werden. Zu ihrer Charakterisierung werden NMR-Spektren herangezogen.
Die folgenden Beispiele erläutern die Herstellung der neuen Phosphorsäurederivate.
Bei den Mengenangaben in den Beispielen verhalten sich Gewichtsteile zu Volumenteilen wie Kilogramm zu Liter.

19,5 Gewichtsteile 2-Hydroxy-4,6-dimethylpyridincarbonsäureäthylester-(3)
in I50 Volumenteilen Methanol werden mit 18 Gewichtsteilen
Natriummethylat (30%ige Lösung in Methanol) versetzt und
1 Stunde bei 6O0C gerührt. Danach wird vom Lösungsmittel befreit,
der Rückstand in 100 Volumenteilen Acetonitril aufgenommen und 18,9 Gewichtsteile Diäthoxythiophosphorylchlorid zugegeben. Nach
5-stündigem Rühren bei 700C wird abgekühlt, vom ausgefallenen
Niederschlag abfiltriert und eingeengt. Das zurückbleibende Öl wird in Toluol aufgenommen und mit 2/?iger wäßriger Natriumhydrogencarbonatlösung
behandelt. Die organische Phase wird über Natriumsulfat getrocknet, eingeengt und dann bei 6O0C andestilliert. Es
werden 32 Gewichtsteile eines hellgelben Öls erhalten; Ausbeute 92 % der Theorie.

Die Anwendung der Wirkstoffe erfolgt z.B. in Form von direkt versprühbaren
Lösungen, Pulvern3 Suspensionen oder Dispersionen, Emulsionen, Öldispersionen, Pasten, Stäubemitteln, Streumitteln,
Granulaten durch Versprühen, Vernebeln, Verstäuben, Verstreuen oder Gießen. Die Anwendungsformen richten sich ganz nach den Verwendungszwecken;
sie sollten in jedem Fall möglichst die feinste Verteilung der erfindungsgemäßen Wirkstoffe gewährleisten.
Zur Herstellung von direkt versprühbaren Lösungen, Emulsionen, Pasten und öldispersionen kommen Mineralölfraktionen von mittlerem
bis hohem Siedepunkt, wie Kerosin oder Dieselöl, ferner Kohlenterröle usw., sowie Öle pflanzlichen oder tierischen Ursprungs,
aliphatische, cyclische und aromatische Kohlenwasserstoffe, z.B. Benzol, Toluol, Xylol, Paraffin, Tetrahydronaphthalin, alkylierte
Naphthaline oder deren Derivate, z.B. Methanol, Äthanol, Propanol, Butanol, Chloroform, Tetrachlorkohlenstoff, Cyclohexanol, Cyclohexanon,
Chlorbenzol, Isophoron usw., stark polare Lösungsmittel, z.B. Dimethylformamid, Dimethylsulfoxid, N-Methylpyrrolidon,
Wasser usw. in Betracht.
Wäßrige Anwendungsformen können aus Emulsionskonzentraten, Pasten
oder netzbaren Pulvern (Spritzpulvern), Öldispersionen durch Zusatz
von Wasser bereitet werden. Zur Herstellung von Emulsionen, Pasten oder Öldispersionen können die Substanzen als solche oder
in einem öl oder Lösungsmittel gelöst, mittels Netz-, Haft-, Dispergier- oder Emulgiermittel in Wasser homogenisiert werden.
Es können aber auch aus wirksamer Substanz, Netz-, Haft-, Dispergier- oder Emulgiermittel und eventuell Lösungsmittel oder öl bestehende
Konzentrate hergestellt werden, die zur Verdünnung mit V/asser geeignet sind.
An oberflächenaktiven Stoffen sind zu nennen: Alkali-, Erdalkali-, Ammoniumsalze von Ligninsulfonsäure, Naphthalinsulf
onsäure, Phenolsulfonsäuren, Alkylarylsulfonate, Alkylsulfate,
Alkylsulfonate, Alkali- und Erdalkalisalze der Dibutylnaphthalinsulfonsäure,

Pulver, Streu- und Stäubemittel können durch Mischen oder gemeinsames
Vermählen der wirksamen Substanzen mit einem festen Trägerstoff hergestellt werden.
Granulate, z.B. Umhüllungs-, Imprägnierungs- und Homogengranulate,
können durch Bindung der Wirkstoffe an feste Trägerstoffe hergestellt werden. Feste Trägerstoffe sind z.B. Mineralerden, wie
Silicagel, Kieselsäuren, Kieselgele, Silikate, Talkum, Kaolin, Attaclay, Kalkstein, Kalk, Kreide, Bolus, Löß, Ton, Dolomit,
Diatomeenerde, Calcium- und Magnesiumsulfat, Magnesiumoxid, gemahlene Kunststoffe, Düngemittel, wie z.B. Ammoniumsulfat, Ammoniumphosphat,
Ammoniumnitrat, Harnstoffe und pflanzliche Produkte, wie Getreidemehle, Baumrinden-, Holz- und Nußschalenmehl, Cellulosepulver
und andere feste Trägerstoffe.
Die Formulierungen enthalten zwischen 0,1 und 95 Gewichtsprozent Wirkstoff, vorzugsweise zwischen 0,5 und 90 Gewichtsprozent.
Zu den Mischungen oder Einzelwirkstoffen können Öle verschiedenen Typs, Herbizide, Fungizide, Insektizide, Bakterizide, gegebenenfalls
auch erst unmittelbar vor der Anwendung (Tankmix), zugesetzt werden.
Die Zumischung dieser Mittel zu den erfindungsgemäßen Mitteln kann
im Gewichtsverhältnis 1 : 10 bis 10 : 1 erfolgen.

Die erfindungsgemäßen Wirkstoffe können zur Bekämpfung von Schädlingen,
beispielsweise saugender und beißender Insekten, Dipteren und Milben eingesetzt werden:
Zu den saugenden Insekten gehören im wesentlichen Blattläuse (Aphidae) wie die grüne Pfirsichblattlaus (Mysus persicae), die
schwarze Bohnen- (Doralis fabae), Hafer- (Rhopalisiphum padi), Erbsen- (Macrosiphum pisi) und Kartoffellaus (Macrosiphum
solanifolii), ferner die Johannisbeergallen- (Cryptomysus korschelti), mehlige Apfel- (Sappaphis mali), mehlige Pflaumen-(Hyalopterus
arundinis) und schwarze Kirschenblattlaus (Myzus cerasi), und Wanzen beispielsweise die Rüben- (Piesma quadrate),
Baumwoll- (Dysdercus intermedius), Bett- (Cimex lectularius),
Raub- (Rhodnius prolixus) und Chagaswanze (Triatoma infestans).
Bei den beißenden Insekten sind vor allem zu nennen Schmetterlingsraupen (Lepidoptera) wie die Kohlschabe (Plutella maculipennis),
der Schwammspinner (Lymantria dispar), Goldafter (Euproctis chrysorrhoea) und Ringelspinner (Malacosoma neustria), weiterhin
die Kohl- (Mamestra brassicae) und die Saateule (Agrotis segetum),
der große Kohlweißling (Pieris brassicae), ferner die Gespinst-(Hyponomeuta
padella), Mehl- (Ephestia Kühniella) und große Wachsmotte (Galleria mellonella).
Weiterhin zählen zu den beißenden Insekten Käfer (Coleoptera) z.B.
Korn- (Sitophilus granarius = Calandra granaria), Kartoffel-(Leptinotarsa
decemlineata), Speck- (Dermestes frischi), rotbrauner Reismehl- (Tribolium castaneum), Mais- (Calandra oder
Sitophilus zeamais), Brot- (Stegobium paniceum), gemeiner Mehlkäfer
(Tenebrio molitor), aber auch im Boden lebende Arten z.B. Drahtwürmer (Agriotes spec.) und Engerlinge (Melolontha melolontha);
Schaben wie die Deutsche (Blatella germanica), Amerikanische (Periplaneta americana), Orientalische (Blatta orientalis),
Riesen- (Blaberus giganteus) und schwarze Riesenschabe (Blaberus fuscus) sowie Henschoutedenia flexivitta; ferner Orthopteren z.B.
die Heimchen (Acheta domesticus), Termiten wie die Erdtermite (Reticulitermes flavipes) und Hymenoptern wie Ameisen, beispielsweise
die Wiesenameise (Lasius niger).

Glanz- (Phormia aegina) und Schmeißfliege (Calliphora erythrocephala) sowie den Wadenstecher (Stomoxys calcitrans);
ferner Mücken, z.B. Stechmücken wie die Gelbfieber- (Aedes aegypti), Haus- (Culex pipiens) und Malariamücke (Anopheles stephensi).
Zu den Milben (Acari) zählen besonders die Spinnmilben (Tetranychidae)
wie die Bohnen- (Tetranychus telarius = Tetranychus althaeae oder Tetranychus urticae) und die Obstbaumspinnmilbe
(Paratetranychus pilosus = Panonychus ulmi), Gallmilben, z.B. die Johannisbeergallmilbe (Eriophyses ribis) und Tarsonemidensbeispielsweise
die Triebspitzenmilbe (Hemitarsonemus latus) und Cyclamenmilbe (Tarsonemus pallidus); schließlich Zecken wie die
Lederzecke (Ornithodorus moubata).
Die folgenden Beispiele belegen die biologische Wirkung. Die Versuche
wurden mit Wirkstoffen, die in der voranstehenden Tabelle aufgeführt sind, und zum Vergleich mit dem bekannten Wirkstoff

Blätter von jungen Kohlpflanzen werden 3 Sekunden in die wäßrige Wirkstoffemulsion getaucht und nach kurzem Abtropfen auf einen
angefeuchteten Filter in eine Petrischale gelegt. Das Blatt wird darauf mit 10 Raupen des 4. Stadiums besetzt. Nach 48 Stunden beurteilt
man die Wirkung.

Erstlarven der Zecke Ornithodorus moubata werden in Papierbeuteln für 5 Sekunden in Prüfemulsionen verschiedener Konzentration eingetaucht;
dann werden die Beutel frei aufgehängt. Die Mortalitätsrate wird nach 48 Stunden ermittelt.

Kontaktwirkung auf Stubenfliegen (Musca domestica); Dauerkontakt
auf behandelten Glasplatten
Aufgerauhte Glasplatten von 15x15 cm Seitenlänge werden gleichmäßig
mit der acetonischen Wirkstofflösung behandelt. Nach dem
Verdunsten des Lösungsmittels werden je 10 4 Tage alte Stubenfliegen unter einer Petrischale (0 10 cm) auf die Glasplatten
gesetzt. Die Mortalität nach 4 Stunden gilt als Richtwert im Versuch.

Die Prüfungen werden in Abständen wiederholt, bis die behandelten Platten keine Wirkung mehr zeigen.
Die Versuchstemperatur beträgt 20 - 220C.
Bei je 1 mg Wirkstoff beträgt die Mortalitätsrate bei Verwendung
des Wirkstoffs Nr. 1 nach 20 Tagen 100 %, bei Verwendung des
Vergleichswirkstoffs nach 7 Tagen 80 %.

- 6. Verfahren zur Herstellung der Pyridylphosphorsäurederivate der Formel I, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man 6-Hydroxy-2,4-dimethyl-pyridin-carbonsäureester-(3) der Formel II0 PW1 " I^RO-C. X^^y XII.in der R und X die in Anspruch 1 angegebenen Bedeutungen haben, mit Verbindungen der Formel IIIY R2HaI-P2 3
in der R , R^ und Y die in Anspruch 1 angegebenen Bedeutungen haben und Hai Halogen bedeutet, gegebenenfalls in Gegenwart eines Verdünnungsmittels bei Temperaturen im Bereich von 0 bis 150 C umsetzt. - 7. Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 6» dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man die Umsetzung in Gegenwart eines Säureakzeptors durchführt.
- 8. Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man den bei der Umsetzung entstehenden Halogenwasserstoff durch Einblasen eines Inertgases in das Reaktionsgemisch entfernt.
- 9. Schädlingsbekämpfungsmittel, enthaltend ein Pyridylphosphorsäurederivat der allgemeinen Formel I als Wirkstoff.
- 10. Verwendung von Verbindungen gemäß Anspruch 1 als Schädlingsbekämpfungsmittel.BASF Aktiengesellschaft L·.709837/0124
