" Öllösliche, stickstoffhaltige Acylierungsprodukte, Verfahren
zu ihrer Herstellung und ihre Verwendung als Demulgatoren n
Die Erfindung betrifft öllösliche, stickstoffhaltige Acylierungsprodukte
sowie ein Verfahren zu ihrer Herstellung und ihre Verwendung als Demulgatoren, beispielsweise in unter Nörmalbedingungen
flüssige Treib- und Brennstoffen, wie Benzin, Dieselöl und Heizöl, Hydraulikflüssigkeiten und Schmierölen.
Derzeit werden viele verschiedene stickstoffhaltige Produkte als
Zusätze in flüssigen Treib- oder Brennstoffen oder Schmiermitteln,
z.B. für Kraftübertragungseinheiten, Getriebe und Verbrennungs-,
insbesondere Explosionsmotoren, verwendet. Obwohl diese Produkte verbreitet praktische Anwendung gefunden haben und als
brauchbar angesehen werden, besteht ein Bedarf ai\ Zusätzen mit
verbesserten Demulgatoreigenschaften» Viele dieser bekannten
stickstoffhaltigen Produkte sind zwar als Schmieröl- und/oder
Kraftstoffzusätze wirksam, Jedoch unbefriedigend, weil sie dazu
neigen, in Gegenwart von Wasser die Bildung, von -ümul»ionen zu

begünstigen. Dies ist beispielsweise insbesondere dann der Fall, wenn auf Grund der Motorkonstruktion Wasserdampf in das
Kurbelgehäuse gelangt und auf den inneren Oberflächen des Kurbelgehäuses kondensiert,*was dann zur Bildung einer Emulsion
führen kann, welche die Funktion des Schmiermittels beeinträchtigt. ,
Der Erfindung liegt daher die Aufgabe zugrunde, öllösliche, stickstoffhaltige Acylierungsprodukte mit hohem Molekulargewicht
zu schaffen, die allein oder in Korabination mit anderen bekannten
Additiven in verschiedenen öligen Stoffen bzw. Produkten als Zusätze verwendet werden können.
Es wurde gefunden, daß man durch Umsetzen mindestens einer Carbonsäure
und/oder mindestens einer eine Carbonsäure bildenden Verbindung mit mindestens 8 aliphatischen Kohlenstoffatomen,
z.B. einer aliphatischen, aromatischen oder aliphatisch substituierten
aromatischen Carbonsäure oder einer eine solche Säure bildenden Verbindung bzw. einem acylierend wirkenden funktionellen
Derivat einer solchen Carbonsäure (Komponente A) mit einer wirksamen Menge, vorzugsweise mindestens etwa 0,001 Äquivalent
mindestens eines Polyoxyalkylenpolyamins mit einem Durchschnittsmolekulargewicht von vorzugsweise mindestens etwa 200 (Komponente
B) pro Äquivalent Komponente A überraschenderweise öllösliche stickstoffhaltige Acylierungsprodukte erhält, die ausgezeichnete

Die Erfindung betrifft ferner ein Verfahren zur Herstellung der Acylierungsprodukte, das dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, daß man min
destens eine Carbonsäure und/oder mindestens ein Carbonsäureanhydrid,
-halogenid und/oder einen Ester eines niederen aliphatischen Alkohols mit mindestens 8 aliphatischen Kohlenstoffatomen
im Carbonsäureteil {Komponente A) mit mindestens etwa 0,001 Kguivalenten
mindestens eines Polyoxyalkylenpolyamins mit einem

Es wurde" festgestellt, daß die Acylierungsprodukte der Erfindung als Zusatz beispielsweise in Schmiermitteln, flüssigen
Brenn- oder Treibstoffen die Bildung von Emulsionen verhindern oder zumindest wesentlich verringern. Die Acylierungsprodukte
der Erfindung können allein oder in Kombination mit anderen bekannten Additiven, wie Detergent-Zusätzen, EP-Additiven (Hochdruckzusätzen),
Dispersant-Additiven, Oxidationsinhibitoren, VI-Verbesserern und Rostinhibitoren, verwendet werden.
In der Regel müssen die verfahrensgemäß als Acylierungsmittel eingesetzten Carbonsäuren oder deren reaktionsfähige Derivate
mindestens eine, vorzugsweise mindestens zwei Carboxylgruppen im Molekül enthalten. Insbesondere sind als Acylierungsmittel
für die Zwecke der Erfindung Mono- und Polycarbonsäuren, z.B. Di- und Tricarbonsäuren, deren Anhydride, Halogenide, Salze, wie
die Ammoniumsalze, und von niederen aliphatischen einwertigen Alkoholen abgeleiteten Ester, wie die Methyl-, Äthyl- oder Propylester,
geeignet. Der Carbonsäureteil soll mindestens etwa 8, vorzugsweise mindestens 16 und insbesondere mindestens 50 aliphatische
Kohlenstoffatome enthalten und beispielsweise ein durchschnittliches Molekulargewicht von mindestens etwa 100 besitzen.
Als Acylierungsmittel eignen sich beispielsweise aliphatisehe
oder aliphatisch substituierte aromatische Carbonsäuren, deren aliphatischer Substituent bzw. Rest mindestens etwa 8 all- ·
phatische Kohlenstoffatome enthält.
Gemäß einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform werden als Acylierungsmittel
im wesentlichen gesättigte, kohlenwasserstoffsubstituierte
Carbonsäuren oder deren reaktionsfähige Derivate, z.B. L -J

Acryl- oder Maleinsäuren und deren funktionelle Derivate, verwendet,
deren Kohlenwasserstoffsubstituent mindestens etwa 8 und vorzugsweise mindestens etwa 50 Kohlenstoffatome pro Carboxylgruppe
enthält. Geeignete Kohlenwasserstoffsubstituenten besitzen
beispielsweise ein durchschnittliches Molekulargewicht von mindestens etwa 100.
Die Bedingung·, daß das Aeylierungsmittel mindestens etwa 8 aliphatische
Kohlenstoffatome im Molekül enthalten soll, wird nicht
nur im Hinblick auf die gewünschte Öllöslichkeit der Acylierungsprodukte
der■Erfindung gestellt, sondern auch mit Rücksicht
auf die erwünschte Wirksamkeit der Acylierungsprodukte als Additive für die angegebenen Zwecke } z.B. als Demulgatoren.
Weiterhin soll der Kohlenwasserstoffrest des Acylierungsmittels vorzugsweise iia wesentlichen gesättigt sein, d.h.„daß beispielsweise mindestens etwa 95 Prozent der darin vorhandenen C-C-Bindungen
gesättigt sind. Ferner sollen die Kohlenwasserstoffsubstituenten
der Acylierungsprodukte vorzugsweise im wesentlichen frei von öllöslich machenden Seitenketten-Substituenten,
d.h. Gruppen mit mehr als etwa 6 aliphatischen Kohlenstoffatomen,,
sein. Es können zwar einige wehige Öllöslich machende Seitenketten
vorhanden sein, deren Anteil Jedoch weniger als etwa eine solche Gruppe auf jeweils 25 aliphatische Kohlenstoffatome
in der Hauptkohlenwasserstoffkette betragen sollte.
Der Kohlenwasserstoffswbstituent kann außerdem polare Substitu-
enten bzw. Gruppen enthalten^ sofern digs© nicht in einer

vorhanden sind, die ausreicht, um den KohlenwasserstoffCharakter
des Kohlenwasserstoffsubstituenten merklich zu ändern. So
kann der Anteil an polaren Substituenten und/oder Gruppen bis zu etwa 20 Gewichtsprozent, bezogen auf das Gewicht des Kohlenwasserstoff
substituenten, betragen. Vorzugsweise soll er jedoch etwa 10 Gewichtsprozent nicht übersteigen.
Beispiele polarer Substituenten bzw. Gruppen, die vorhanden sein können, sind Chlor- und Bromatome, Keto-, Äther-, Aldehyd- und
Nitrogruppen. .
Nach einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform der Erfindung leiten sich die Kohlenwasserstoffsubstituenten mit im wesentlichen Kohlenwasserstoffcharakter
von einer im wesentlichen gesättigten Petroleumfraktion mit hohem Molekulargewicht oder einem im wesentlichen
"gesättigten Polyolefin ab, z.B. einem Polymerisat eines Monoolefins mit etwa 2 bis 30 Kohlenstoffatomen. Beispiele für
diesen Zweck besonders geeigneter Polymeren sind u.a. die Polymerisate von a-Monoolefinen, z.B. Äthylen, Propylen, Buten-(1),
Isobuten, Hexen-(1), Octen-(1), 2-Methylhepten-(1), 3-Cyclohexylbuten-(i)
und 2-Methyl-5-propylhexen-(1). Die Kohlenwasserstoffsubstituenten
können sich auch von Polymerisaten von Olefinen mit nicht endständigen Doppelbindungen, z.B. Buten-(2),
Penten-(3) oder Qcten-(4), ableiten.
Gemäß einer bevorzugten. Ausführungsforrn leiten sich die Kohlenwasserstoffsubstituenten
von Mischpolymerisaten von Olefinen, beispielsweise den vorstehend genannten Olefinen, mit anderen,

gen, z.B. aromatischen Olefinen, cyclischen Olefinen oder Polyolefinen,
ab. Diese Mischpolymerisate können beispielsweise durch Copolymerisation von Isobuten mit Styrol, Butadien, Chloropren
oder p-Methylstyrol, Propen mit Isopropen, Äthylen mit
Piperylen, 1-Hexen mit. 1,3-Hexadien, 3,3-Dimethylpenten-(i)
oder 1-0eten, 1-Hepten mit 1-Penten, 3-Methylbuten-(1) mit
1-Octen oder Isobuten mit Styrol und Piperylen hergestellt werden.
Die Mengenverhältnisse der Monoolefine zu den anderen Monomeren
in den Mischpolymerisaten beeinflussen die Stabilität und Öllöslichkeit
der von diesen Mischpolymerisaten abgeleiteten Aeylierungsprodukte.
Im Hinblick auf die Öllöslichkeit und Stabilität sollen die nach einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform der Erfindung
verwendeten Mischpolymerisate im wesentlichen aliphatisch und gesättigt sein. Beispielsweise sollen die Mischpolymerisate mindestens
etwa 80 und vorzugsweise etwa 95 Gewichtsprozent von aliphatischen Monoolefinen abgeleitete Einheiten und - bezogen
auf die Gesamtzahl der darin vorhandenen C-C-Bindungen - nicht mehr als etwa 5 und insbesondere weniger als etwa 2 Prozent
olefinisch ungesättigte Doppelbindungen enthalten.
Spezielle Beispiele geeigneter Mischpolymerisate sind Copolymerisate
aus 95 Gewichtsprozent Isobuten und 5 Prozent Styrol, Terpolymerisate aus 98 Gewichtsprozent Isobuten, 1 Prozent Piperylen
und 1 Prozent Chloropren, Terpolymerisate aus 95 Gewichtsprozent Isobuten, 2 Gewichtsprozent 1-Buten und 3 Gewichtsprozent
1-Hexen, Terpolymerisate aus 60 Gewichtsprozent Isobuten, 20 Gewichtsprozent 1-Penten und 20 Gewichtsprozent

1-Octen, Copolymerisate aus 80 Gewichtsprozent 1-Hexen und
20 Gev/ichtsprozent 1-Hepten, Terpolymerisate aus 90 Gewichtsprozent Isobuten, 2 Gewichtsprozent Cyclohexen und 8 Gewichtsprozent
Propen und Copolymerisate aus 80 Gewichtsprozent Äthylen und 20 Gewichtsprozent Propen. Ein anderes Ausgangsmaterial
für geeignete Kohlenwasserstoffreste sind u.a. die gesättigten aliphatischen Kohlenwasserstoffe, z.B. hochraffinierte Weißöle
mit hohem Molekulargewicht oder die synthetischen Alkane, einschließlich der durch Hydrieren der vorgenannten Polyolefine
mit hohem Molekulargewicht erhältlichen Paraffine. Gemäß einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform werden zur Herstellung der Acylierungsmittel
Polyolefine mit einem durchschnittlichen Molekulargewicht im Bereich von etwa 400 bis 10 000 und insbesondere etwa
700 bis 5000 verwendet. Es können jedoch auch Polyolefine mit höherem Molekulargewicht, z.B. einem durchschnittlichen Molekulargewicht
von etwa 10 000 bis 100 000 oder darüber, verwendet werden. Es wurde gefunden, daß die Polymerisate mit höherem Molekulargewicht
den Acylierungsprodukten der Erfindung Viskosität sind ex- verbessernde Eigenschaften verleihen. In vielen Fällen
kann daher die Verwendung von Polyolefinen mit höherem Molekulargewicht zweckmäßig sein.
Von den verschiedenen für die Zwecke der Erfindung verwendbaren Acylierungsmitteln sind die Mono- und Dicarbonsäuren, z.B. Acryl-'
oder Bernsteinsäuren, und deren reaktionsfähige Derivate, einschließlich der Anhydride, Ester und anderer Derivate mit im wesentlichen
gesättigten, aliphatischen Kohlenwasserstoffsubstituenten
besonders bevorzugt. Für die Zwecke der Erfindung geeignete Bernsteinsäuren mit hohem Molekulargewicht können her- _j

gestellt werden durch Umsetzen von Maleinsäure mit einem Poly- , olefin mit hohem Molekulargewicht, z.B. einem chlorierten Olefinpolymerisat,
bei Temperaturen im Bereich von etwa 80 bis 2500C. Gewünschtenfalls können im Kohlenwasserstoffsubstituenten
gegebenenfalls vorhandene äthylenisch ungesättigte Doppelbindungen
sämtlich zu gesättigten Bindungen hydriert werden. Das Anhydrid oder die Carbonsäure kann durch Umsetzen mit verschiedenen
Verbindungen, z.B. Phosphorhalogeniden, Alkoholen oder Phenolen, in den entsprechenden Ester oder das■Säurehalogenid
überführt werden. Ein anderes Beispiel eines Verfahrens zur Herstellung substituierter Bernsteinsäuren oder -anhydride mit
hohem Molekulargewicht ist die Umsetzung von Itaconsäure mit einem Olefin mit hohem Molekulargewicht oder -einem polar substituierten
Kohlenwasserstoff bei Temperaturen im Bereich von etwa 80 bis 250°C.
Außer Carbonsäuren bzw. acylierend wirkenden funktioneilen Derivaten solcher Säuren können als Acylierungsmittel für die
Zwecke der Erfindung auch Polycarbonsäuren mit mehr als 2 Carboxylgruppen
und reaktionsfähige Derivate (Polycarbonsäure-• Acylierungsmittel) . · verwendet v/erden.
Diese Polycarbonsäuren sind dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie mindestens 8, vorzugsweise mindestens etwa 16 und insbesondere
mindestens etwa 50 aliphatische Kohlenstoffatome pro Carboxylgruppe
im Molekül enthalten. Einige dieser Poiycarbonsäure-Acylierungsmittel kann man beispielsweise dadurch erhalten, daß'
man einen Kohlenwasserstoff mit hohem Molekulargewicht,* ζ„B.
ein Polyolefin der vorstehend beschriebenen Art, zu einem polyhalogenierten

überführt und anschließend zur entsprechenden Polycarbonsaure verseift wird. Außerdem lassen sich geeignete Polycarbonsäuren
beispielsweise durch Oxidation eines mehrwertigen Alkohols mit hohem Molekulargewicht mit Kaliumpermanganat, Salpetersäure
oder einem anderen gleich wirkenden Oxidationsmittel herstellen. Ein weiterer Weg zur Herstellung eines Polycarbonsäure-Acylierungsmittels
ist beispielsweise die Umsetzung eines Olefins oder eines polar substituierten Kohlenwasserstoffs, z.B. eines
chlorierten Polyisobutens, mit einer ungesättigten Polycarbonsaure,
z.B. 2-Penten-1,3,5-tricarbonsäure, die durch Dehydratisieren
von Citronensäure zugänglich ist.
Weitere Beispiele für die Zwecke der Erfindung geeigneter PoIycarbonsäure-Acylierungsmittel
sind u.a. die Tricarbonsäuren und ihre reaktionsfähigen Derivate, z.B. die Ester. Diese Polycarbonsäuren
und ihre Ester lassen sich in Acylierungsmittel mit hohem Molekulargewicht umwandeln, indem man die Säuren oder die
Ester mit einem Kohlenwasserstoff mit hohem Molekulargewicht» u.a. beispielsweise einem Polyolefin oder einem polar substituierten

Substituent des Acylierungsmittels ein durchschnittliches Molekulargewicht von etwa 100 bis 10 000 oder darüber und vorzugsweise

Eine spezielle Klasse für die Zwecke der Erfindimg als Acylierungsmittel
verwendbarer Tricarbonsäureester kann durch Umsetzen einer Acrylsäureverbindung, z.B. Acrylsäuremethylester, mit
einem Malein- oder Fumarsäureester in Gegenwart einer katalytischen Menge einer organischen tertiären Phosphorverbindung aus
der Gruppe der tertiären Phosphine und tertiären Phosphoramide erhalten werden. Insbesondere lassen sich diese Tricarbonsäureester
durch Umsetzen eines Malein- oder Fumarsäureester mit der
Acrylsäureverbindung in Gegenwart eines Katalysators in einem
Mengenverhältnis von etwa 0,1 bis 5,0 und insbesondere etwa
0,3 bis 1,5 Moläquivalenten pro Äquivalent der Acrylsäureverbindung
herstellen. Der Katalysator kann in katalytisehen Mengen,
z.B. 0,0001 bis 0,1 Moläquivalente organische tertiäre Phosphorverbindung pro Äquivalent Acrylsäureverbindung, anwesend
sein. Diese Tricarbonsäureester lassen sich in an sich bekannter Weise durch Verseifen in die entsprechenden Tricarbonsäurenj

Andere für die Zwecke der Erfindung geeignete Acylierungsmittel
sind die Monocarbonsäuren mit mindestens 8 und vorzugsweise mindestens
etwa 16 aliphatischen Kohlenstoffatomen sowie deren reaktionsfähige Derivate. Für die Zwecke der Erfindung
als Acylierungsmittel verwendbare Monocarbonsäuren und funktioneile Monoearbonsäurederivate können beispielsweise durch Oxidation
eines einwertigen Alkohols z.B. mit Kaliumpermanganat oder durch Umsetzen eines halogenierten Polyolefins mit hohem
Molekulargewicht mit einem Keten hergestellt werden. Eine andere Methode zur Herstellung solcher Acylierungsmittel ist die
Umsetzung von metallischem Natrium mit einem Acetessigsäure- oder Malonsäureester zum Natriumderivat des entsprechenden
Esters und anschließende Umsetzung des Natriumderivats mit einem halogenierten Kohlenwasserstoff mit hohem Molekulargewicht,
z.B. bromiertem Wachs oder bromiertem Polyisobuten.
Andere für die Zwecke der Erfindung verwendbare Carbonsäuren mit mindestens 8 aliphatischen Kohlenstoffatomen sind beispiels- '
weise Caprin-, Undecyl-, Laurin-, Tridecan-, Myristin-, Pentadecan-,
Palmitin-, Stearin-, Nondecyl-, Ärachin-, Behen-, Hyäna-Cerotin-,
Montanwachs-, Linol- und Linolensäure.

Als Acylierungsmittel können für die Zwecke der Erfindung weiterhin
aromatische Carbonsäuren oder substituierte aromatische Carbonsäuren mit einer oder mehreren Carboxylgruppen oder deren reaktionsfähige
Derivate, z.B. die Ester, mit z.B. mindestens einer aliphatischen Kohlenwasserstoffkette bzw. mindestens einem
aliphatischen Substituenten mit 8 oder mehr aliphatischen Kohlenstoffatomen verwendet werden. Beispiele solcher Carbonsäuren
sind p-Isobutylhydratropasäure (Ibuprofen), o-Pentadecadienylsalicylsäure

Als Polyoxyalkylenpolyamine sind für die Zwecke der Erfindung
die Polyoxyäthylen- und Polyoxypropylendiaißine sowie die PoIyoxypropylentriamine mit einem durchschnittlichen Molekulargewicht von etwa 200 bis 2000 besonders bevorzugt. Für die Zwecke
der Erfindung verwendbare Polyoxyalkylenpolyamine sind im Handel
erhältlich und können beispielsweise von der Jefferson Chemical Company» Inc. unter den'Handelsbezeichnungen "Jeffamines D-230t
D-400, B-1000, D-2000 oder T~403" bezogen werden.
Zur Herstellung der Acylierung-sprodukte der Erfindung werden vorzugsweise mindestens etwa 0,001 Äquivalent des Polyoxyalkylenpolyamins
, mit mindestens zwei -NH-Gruppen im Molekül mit
etwa einem Äquivalent des Acylierungsmittels umgesetzt. Die verfahrensgemäß
eingesetzten Acylierungsmittel enthalten mindestens
eine Gruppe der allgemeinen Formel -Ö-X, in der X ein Halogenatom
oder eine Hydroxyl-, Kohlenwasserstoff- oder Acyloxygruppe bedeutet.
Die Umsetzung des Polyoxyalkylenpolyamins mit dem Acylierungsmittel
führt zu einer direkten Bindung der Stickstoffatome an die polaren Reste, d.h. die sich,von den Carboxylgruppen oder
deren reaktionsfähigen Gruppen ableitenden Acyl-, Acylimidoyl- oder Acyloxyreste. Die bei dieser Umsetzung entstehenden Gruppen
mit direkt an Stickstoffatome gebundenen Carbonsäureresten sind Amid-, Imid-, Amidin- und/oder Ammoniumsalzgruppen. Die genauen
Mengenverhältnisse, in denen diese Gruppen in einem bestimmten LProdukt vorhanden sind, sind in der Regel nicht bekannt, da sie_j

weitgehend von dem jeweils verwendeten Acylierungsmittel und den
Bedingungen, z.B. der Temperatur, abhängen, unter denen die Umsetzung durchgeführt wird. Beispielsweise entstehen bei der Umsetzung
einer Carbonsäure oder eines Carbonsäureanhydrids mit dem Polyoxyalkylenpolyamin bei einer Temperatur unter etwa
500C vorwiegend Ammoniumsalzgruppen, während sich bei höheren
Temperaturen, z.B. bei über 800C und bis zu etwa 2500C vorwiegend
Imid-, Amid- und/oder Amidingruppen bilden. In jedem Fall erwiesen sich die nach dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren erhaltenen
Acylierungsprodukte unabhängig von den Mengenverhältnissen,
in denen die verschiedenen Gruppen darin vorhanden waren, als wirksame Zusätze für die Zwecke der Erfindung. Zur Herstellung
der Acylierungsprodukte der Erfindung wird das Gemisch aus Acylierungsmittel und Polyoxyalkylenpolyamin auf Temperaturen von
etwa Raumtemperatur, z.B. 25°C, bis zu etwa der Zersetzungstemperatur der Reaktanten oder des Acylierungsprodukts erwärmt. Vorzugsweise
arbeitet man beim Verfahren der Erfindung bei Temperaturen von etwa 50 Ms 300 und insbesondere etwa 80 bis 2500C.
Wenn als Acylierungsmittel eine Carbonsäure oder ein Carbonsäureanhydrid verwendet wird, kann die Umsetzung mit dem Polyoxyalkylenpolyamin
bei tieferen Temperaturen, z.B. bei Temperaturen von etwa 80 bis 125°C, durchgeführt werden, wobei man Acylierungsprodukte
erhält, die vorwiegend Ammoniumsalzgruppen oder ein Geraisch aus Ammoniurasalz und Amidgruppen enthalten. Die bei
diesen niedrigeren Temperaturen erhaltenen Acylierungsprodukte können gewünsentenfalls -durch Erhitzen auf Temperaturen von
über 800O, z.B. auf etwa 125 bis 25O0C, in Acylierungsprodukte
umgewandelt werden, die vorwiegend Amid-, Imid- oder Amidingruppen enthalten. Die Umsetzung kann in einem Lösungsmittel durch- -

geführt v/erden, das gegenüber den Reaktionsteilnehmern inert ist, z.B. in Benzol, Toluol, Benzin, Xylol, Mineralöle, Hexan
oder deren Gemischen.
Die Mengenverhältnisse von Carbonsäure, zu Polyoxyalkylenpolyamin
im Verfahren der Erfindung werden so eingestellt, daß pro Äquivalent des Acylierungsmittels .mindestens etwa 0,001 Äquivalent
Polyoxyalkylenpolyamin eingesetzt werden. Vorzugsweise verwendet man pro Äquivalent Acylierungsmittel etwa 0,001 bis 4,0
und insbesondere etwa 0,1 bis 2,0 Äquivalente Polyoxyalkylenpolyamin.
In vielen Fällen wird das Polyoxyalkylenpolyamin im Verfahren der Erfindung in einer Menge von etwa 1,0 Äquivalent pro
Äquivalent Acylierungsmittel eingesetzt. Für' die Zwecke der Erfindung
wird das Äquivalentgewicht des Polyoxyalkylenpolyamins auf "die Zahl der im Molekül vorhandenen Stickstoff enthaltenden
funktionellen Gruppen, d.h. der Amingruppen der Formel -N-H, bezogen. Beispielsweise ist das Äquivalentgewicht eines Polyoxyalkylendiamins
mit zwei Aminogruppen gleich der Hälfte seines Molekulargewichts. Entsprechend ist das Äquivalentgewicht des
Acylierungsmittels durch die Zahl der inr Molekül enthaltenen . Gruppen der Formel -C-X bestimmt, in der X die vorstehende Bedeutung
hat.
Die Beispiele erläutern die Erfindung.
Durch Umsetzen eines chlorierten Polyisobutylens mit Maleinsäureanhydrid bei einer Temperatur von etwa 2000C wird ein PoIy-•isobutenylbernsteinsäureanhydrid

dessen Polyisobutenylrest ein durchschnittliches Molekulargewicht von etwa 850 besitzt. 3270 Gewich'tsteile (6,0 Äquivalente)
des Polyisobutenylbernsteinsäureanhydrids werden in einem 5 Liter fassenden, mit einem Rührwerk, einer Heizung,
einem GaSeinleitungsrohr und einem Wasserabscheider ausgerüsteten
Kolben vorgelegt, sodann auf etwa 1500C erhitzt und mit
600 Gewichtsteilen (3,0 Äquivalente) eines Polyoxypropylendiamin mit einem Molekulargewicht von etwa 400 durch einen Zugabetrichter
im Verlauf von etwa 1 1/4 Stunden versetzt. Das Reaktionsgemisch wird etwa 3 Stunden im Stickstoffstrom auf etwa 150°C erhitzt.
Anschließend wird das Reaktionsprodukt mit etwa 3 Prozent Filterhilfe versetzt und bei 1500C filtriert. Die Analyse
des als Filtrat erhaltenen Produkts ergibt einen Stickstoffgehalt von 1,12 Prozent.
Beispiel 2 Beispiel 1 wird mit. folgenden Änderungen wiederholt:
Das auf 1500C erhitzte Polyisobutenylbernsteinsäureanhydrid wird
mit 354 Gewichtsteilen (3,0 Äquivalente) eines Polyoxypropylendiamins
mit einem Molekulargewicht von etwa 230 im Verlauf von etwa 1 1/2 Stunden im Stickstoffstrom versetzt. Das Reaktionsgemisch
wird sodann auf etwa 150 bis 1550C erhitzt. Im Verlauf der Umsetzung werden etwa 40 Gewichtsteile Reaktionswasser aufgefangen.
Das als Filtrat erhaltene Reaktionsprodukt weist einen Stickstoffgehalt
von 1,12 Prozent auf. _j

Beispiel 3 Beispiel 1 wird mit folgenden Änderungen wiederholt:
Im Kolben werden 2726 Gewichtsteile (5 Äquivalente) Polyisobutenylbernsteinsäureanhydrid
vorgelegt, auf etwa 900C erhitzt und mit 769 Gewichtsteilen Mineralöl versetzt.. Hierauf wird das
Gemisch auf etwa 1500C erhitzt und anschließend im Stickstoffstrom
mit 388 Gewichtsteilen (2,5 Äquivalente) eines Polyoxypropylentriamins mit einem Molekulargewicht von etwa AOO im Verlauf
von etwa 2 Stunden' bei einer Temperatur von etwa 1500C
versetzt. Sodann wird das Reaktionsgemisch auf etwa 15.0 M 153°C erhitzt. Im Verlauf der Umsetzung v/erden etwa 29 Gewichtsteile
Reaktionswasser aufgefangen. Das als Filtrat erhaltene Reaktionsprodukt weist einen Stickstoffgehalt von
0,89 Prozent auf.
Beispiel 1 wird mit folgenden Änderungen wiederholt:
In einem 3 Liter fassenden Kolben werden 1320 Gewichtsteile (1,2 Äquivalente) Polyisobutenylbernsteinsäureanhydrid im Stickstoff
strom im Verlauf von etwa 3/4 Stunden auf etwa 1200C erhitzt.
Bei etwa 120°C wird der Kolbeninhalt im Verlauf von etwa 30 Minuten im Stickstoffstrom mit 321 Gewichtsteilen
(0,6 Äquivalente) eines Polyoxypropylendiamins mit einem Molekulargewicht von etwa 1000 versetzt. Das Reaktionsgemisch wird sodann
1 Stunde im Stickstoffstrom auf 150 bis 1550C erhitzt. Das
Reaktionsprodukt wird gemäß Beispiel 1 filtriert. Das Filtrat hat einen Stickstoffgehalt von 0,52 Prozent.

Beispiel 5
Gemäß Beispiel 1 hergestelltes Polyisobutenylbernsteinsäureanhydrid
wird mit Methanol extrahiert, um Fraktionen mit niederem Molekulargewicht vollständig zu entfernen. Das dabei erhaltene
Polyisobuteriylbernsteinsäureanhydrid besitzt eine Verseifungszahl
von etwa 250. In einem Kolben werden 224 Gewichtsteile (1,0 'Äquivalent) des mit Methanol behandelten Polyisobute»
nylbernsteinsäureanhydrids bei Raumtemperatur vorgelegt und im Verlauf von etwa 3/4 Stunden im Stickstoffstrom auf etwa. 125 C
erhitzt. Sodann werden im Verlauf von etwa 30 Minuten im Stickstoff strom 268 Gewichtsteile (0,5 Äquivalente) eines Polyoxypropylendiamins
mit einem Molekulargewicht von etwa 1000 zugegeben. Hierauf wird das Reaktionsgemisch im Stickstoffstrom im
Verlauf von etwa 15 Minuten auf 1500C und sodann noch etwa
1 Stunde auf 150 bis 155°C erhitzt. Das Reaktionsprodukt wird gemäß Beispiel 1 filtriert. Das Filtrat hat einen Stickstoffgehalt
von 1,43 Prozent.
In einem analog Beispiel 1 ausgerüsteten 5 Liter fassenden Kolben werden 2720 Gewichtsteile (5,0 Äquivalente) gemäß Beispiel 1
hergestelltes Polyisobutenylbernsteinsäureanhydrid vorgelegt und bei einer Temperatur von etwa 1500C mit 1339 Gewichtsteilen
(2,5 Äquivalente) eines Polyoxypropylendiamins mit einem Moleku- '
largewicht von etwa 1000 versetzt. Danach wird das Reaktionsge- *
misch etwa 6 Stunden auf 1500C erhitzt. Es werden etwa 27 Gewichtsteile
Reaktionswasser aufgefangen. Das Reaktionsprodukt wird gemäß Beispiel 1 filtriert. Das Filtrat hat einen Stickstoffgehalt

Beispiel 7
Durch Chlorieren eines Polyisobutene mit einem durchschnittlichen
Molekulargewicht von etwa 1800 unter gleichzeitiger Umsetzung mit einer stöchiometrischen Menge Maleinsäureanhydrid bei
etwa 2000C und in Gegenwart von Phenothiazin wird ein Polyisobutenylbernsteinsäureanhydrid
hergestellt. In einem 5 Liter fassenden Vierhalskolben werden 1550 Gewichtsteile (2 Äquivalente)
des erhaltenen chlorierten Polyisobutenylbernsteinsäureanhydrids und 1380 Gewichtsteile Mineralöl vorgelegt. Der Kolben
ist analog Beispiel 1 ausgerüstet. Das im Kolben vorgelegte Gemisch wird im Stickstoffstrom auf etwa 800C erwärmt und im Verlauf
von 30 Minuten mit 535 Gewichtsteilen (1,0 Äquivalent) eines Polyoxypropylendiamins mit-einem Molekulargewicht von etwa
' 1000 bei einer Temperatur von 80 bis 100°C versetzt. Das Reaktionsgemisch wird sodann im Stickstoffstrom 5 Stunden auf 150
bis 155°C erhitzt. Dabei werden etwa 12 Gewichtsteile Reäktionswasser aufgefangen. Das Reaktionsprodukt wird gemäß Beispiel 1
filtriert. Das Filtrat hat einen Stickstoffgehalt von· 0,41 Prozent.
Analog Beispiel 1 wird ein Polyisobutenylbernsteinsäureanhydrid mit einer Verseifungszahl von 101, entsprechend einem Äquivalentgewicht
von etwa 555, hergestellt, dessen Polyisobutenylrest ein durchschnittliches Molekulargewicht von etwa 850 besitzt.
111 Gewichtsteile (0,2 Äquivalente) dieses Polyisobutenylbern» steinsäureanhydrids werden bei Raumtemperatur mit 53 Gewichtsteilen (etwa 0,1 Äquivalent) eines Polyoxypropylendiamins gemischt.
Sodann wird das Gemisch im Stickstoffstrom im Verlauf

von etwa 30 Minuten auf etwa 15O0C und noch eine weitere Stunde
auf 150 bis 161°C erhitzt. 1Es werden etwa 2 Gewichtsteile Reaktionswasser
aufgefangen. Das Reaktionsprodukt wird unter Stickstoff auf Raumtemperatur abgekühlt und dann filtriert. Das FiI-trat
hat einen Stickstoffgehalt von 1,03 Prozent.
Beispiel 9 51 Gewichtsteile (0,228 Äquivalente) eines gemäß Beispiel 5
erhaltenen, mit Methanol extrahierten Polyisobutenylbernsteinsäureanhydrids
werden mit 60 Gewichiüteilen (0,114 Äquivalente) eines Polyoxypropylendiamins versetzt. Das Gemisch wird im Verlauf
von etwa 30 Minuten im Stickstoffstrom auf etwa 149°C und
eine weitere Stunde auf etwa 149 Ms 1560C erhitzt. Es werden
etwa 2 Gewichtsteile Reaktionswasser aufgefangen. Das Pceaktionsprodukt
wird gemäß Beispiel 8 aufgearbeitet. Das Filtrat hat einen Stickstoffgehalt von 1,69 Prozent.
Beispiel 10 Beispiel 9 wird mit folgenden Änderungen wiederholt:
Es werden 25 Gewichtsteile (0,11 Äquivalente) mit Methanol extrahiertes
Polyisobutenylbernsteinsäureanhydrid bei Raumtemperatur mit 58 Gewichtsteilen 0,055 Äquivalente) eines Polyoxypropylendiamins
mit einem Molekulargewicht von etwa 2000 gemischt. Das Gemisch wird im Stickstoffstrom innerhalb 30 Minuten auf 1500C

hergestellt. 579 Gewichtsteile (0,06 Äquivalente) des Produkts werden bei Raumtemperatur mit

170°C erhitzt. Danach wird das Reaktionsproduktgemisch mit etv/a 5 Prozent Filterhilfe und bei etwa 50 bis 7O0C filtriert. Das
Filtrat hat einen Stickstoffgehalt von 0,03 Prozent.
Beispiel 14
Durch Hydrolyse des entsprechenden, durch Kondensation eines chlorierten Polyisobutylene mit Maleinsäureanhydrid hergestellten
Poly.isobutenylbernsteinsaureanhyd.rids wird eine Polyisobutenylbernsteinsäure
hergestellt. Etwa 1,5 Äquivalente einer 70prozentigen Mineralöllösung dieser Polyisobutenylbernsteinsäure

auf 140 bis 2200C wird ein Methylester einer Monocarbonsäure mit
hohem Molekulargewicht'hergestellt. Dieser Ester wird mit einer

durchschnittlichen Molekulargewicht von etwa 1000 bei einer Temperatur von 100 bis 2000C zu einem stickstoffhaltigen Acylierungsprodukt

Ein Gemisch aus etwa 2000 Gewichtsteilen Mineralöl, etwa
3,0 Äquivalenten eines Polyoxyäthylentriamins mit einem durchschnittlichen
Molekulargewicht von etwa 1000 und etwa 3,0 Äquivalenten einer Tricarbonsäure mit hohem Molekulargewicht wird
etwa 20 Stunden auf 1500C erhitzt. Die Tricarbonsäure wird durch
Umsetzen von bromiertem PoIy-(I-hexen) mit einem Molekulargewicht
von etwa 2000 und einem Bromgehalt von etwa 4 Gewichtsprozent mit 2-Penten-1,3,5-tr!carbonsäure (hergestellt durch
Dehydratisieren von Citronensäure) hergestellt. Das stickstoffhaltige Acylierungsprodukt wird filtriert, wobei man eine homogene
Mineralöllösung des Produkts erhält. ·
Eine Lösung von etwa 1,0 Äquivalent des Dimethylesters einer
Polyäthylen-(Molekulargewicht etwa 1500·)-substituierten Malonsäure
in 5000 Gewichtsteilen Xylol wird'bei etwa 60°C mit etwa

150 bis 2500C erhitzt» Dann wird das Reaktionsgemisch bei 2000C
filtriert. Ein Gemisch aus 2 Äquivalenten Polyoxyäthylendiamin mit einem durchschnittlichen Molekulargewicht von etwa 1000 und
etwa 1 Äquivalent des erhaltenen Acylierungsmittels wird mit der gleichen Menge Xylol verdünnt und unter Rückfluß erhitzt, bis
kein Wasser mehr abdestilliert. Das so erhaltene Reaktionsgemisch wird mit der gleichen Menge Mineralöl verdünnt und auf etwa

Fumarsäurediäthylester wird im Stickstoffstrom mit 0,75 Gewichtsteilen Tricyclohexylphosphin versetzt und sodann
10 Stunden auf 100°C erhitzt. Nach Zugabe von 0,5 Gewichtsteilen
p-Toluolsulfonsäure wird das Lösungsmittel aus dem Reaktionsproduktgemisch
abdestilliert, wobei gleichzeitig nlchtumgesetzte Ausgangsmaterialien entfernt v/erden. Anschließend wird
das Reäktionsprodukt im Hochvakuum destilliert. Als Produkt erhält
man 3-Buten-1,2,3-tricarbonsäure-(i,2-diäthyl-3-methyl)-ester
mit einem Siedepunkt von 1010C bei 3x10 Torr. Dieser Tricarbonsäureester
v/ird durch Umsetzen mit einem chlorierten Polyisobuten mit einem Molekulargewicht von etwa 350 und einem

Methylacrylat und 115 Gewichtsteilen Maleinsäuredi-, methylester in 300 Gewichtsteilen gereinigtem Dioxan versetzt.

Acylierungsmittels wird etwa 20 Stunden auf etwa 150 bis 200 C erhitzt. Danach wird das Reaktionsprodukt filtriert. Man erhält
eine homogene Mineralöllösung des acylierten Polyamins.
Ein Gemisch aus 4,3 Gewichtsteilen Methylacrylat, 7,7 Gewichtsteilen Fumarsäurediäthylester und 0,5 Gewichtsteilen Diphenyl-(4-oxybutyl)-phosphin
wird 10 Stunden im Stickstoffstrom unter Rückfluß erhitzt. Durch Destillieren des Reaktionsproduktgemischs
erhält man einen 3-Buten-1,2,3-tricarbonsäure-(i,2-diäthyl-3-methyl)-ester,
der durch Umsetzen mit einem chlorierten Polyisobuten mit einem Molekulargewicht von etwa 1000 und
einem Chlorgehalt von etwa 4,5 Prozent bei etwa 80 bis 120°C in ein Acylierungsmittel mit hohem Molekulargewicht umgewandelt
wird. Ein Gemisch aus etwa 2000 Gewichtsteilen Mineralöl, 3,0 Äquivalenten eines Eolyoxyäthylentriamins mit einem durchschnittlichen
Molekulargewicht von etwa 1000 und etwa 3,0 Äquivalenten des erhaltenen Acylierungsmittels wird 15 bis 20 Stunden

Polyoxypropylendiamin mit einem durchschnittlichen Molekulargewicht von etwa 1000 und 2000 Gewichtsteilen Mineralöl
wird etwa 4 Stunden auf bis zu etwa 125°C erhitzt. Dann wird
das Reaktionsgemisch auf eine Temperatur von bis zu etwa 2000C
erhitzt und filtriert. Man erhält eine Mineralöllösung des acylierten Polyamins.
Die öllöslichen, stickstoffhaltigen Acylierungsprodukte der Erfindung,
die verbesserte Demulgatoreigenschaften besitzen, kön- nen als Additive für eine Vielzahl verschiedener öliger Produkte,
wie beispielsweise Schmiermittel auf der Basis von synthetischen Ölen und/oder Mineralölen, und flüssige Kohlenwasserstoffe,
wie Benzin, Heizöl und Dieselöl, in Mengen von etwa 0,001 bis 20 Gewichtsprozent, bezogen auf das Gewicht der Gemische, ver-'
!wendet werden. Vorzugsweise werden die Acylierungsprodukte der j

Erfindung in Mengen von etwa 0,1 bis 15 und insbesondere etwa
0,1 bis 10 Gewichtsprozent, bezogen auf das Gesamtgewicht der Gemische, verwendet. Die den öligen Produkten zuzusetzende opti
male Menge hängt von der Art der Oberflächen, mit denen der betreffende Kraft- oder Brennstoff oder das Schmiermittel in Berührung
kommt, sowie den Bedingungen ab, denen das Schmiermittel oder der Kraft- oder Brennstoff unterworfen werden. Bei
Benzinen für Explosionsmotore kann beispielsweise ein Zusatz von etwa 0,001 bis etwa 1,0 Gewichtsprozent eines erfindungsgemäßen
Acylierungsprodukts genügen, während die Acylierungsprodukte der Erfindung als Zusatz zu einem Getriebeschmiermittel
oder bei der Verwendung in Dieselmotoren in Mengen von bis zu etwa 20 Gewichtsprozent, bezogen auf das Gesamtgewicht des Gemisches,
verwendet werden können. In einigen Fällen können, je nach der Verwendung des Gemisches, die Acylierungsprpdukte der
Erfindung sogar in noch höheren Prozentsätzen, z.B. bis zu etwa 25 Gewichtsprozent, verwendet werden.

Nachstehend werden typische Anwendungen der Acylierungsprodukte
der Erfindung erläutert. -
Durch Mischen eines SAE 10¥-30 MineralSchmieröls mit
10 Gewichtsprozent eines Viskositätsindexverbesserers und 7,5 Gewichtsprozent eines Dispersant-Additivs wird ein Schmieröl
hergestellt.
Durch Mischen eines SAE 10W-30 Mineralschmieröls mit 10 Gewichtsprozent eines Viskositätsindexverbesserers, 7,5 Gewichtsprozent
eines Dispersant-Ädditivs und 0,1 Gewichtsprozent
des nach Beispiel 6 erhaltenen Acylierungsproduktes wird ein Schmieröl hergestellt.
Durch Mischen eines SAE 10W-30 Mineralschmieröls mit 10 Gewichtsprozent
eines Viskositätsindexverbesserers, 7,5 Gewichtsprozent eines Dispersant-Ädditivs und 0,1 Gewichtsprozent des
gemäß Beispiel 5 erhaltenen Acylierungsproduktes wird ein Schmieröl hergestellt. " " .
Durch Mischen eines SAE 10W-30 Mineral Schmieröls mit 10 Gewichtsprozent
eines Viskositätsindexverbesserers, 7,5 Gewichtsprozent eines Dispersant-Ädditivs und 0,1 Gewichtsprozent des
gemäß Beispiel 4 erhaltenen Acylierungsprodukts wird ein
Schmieröl hergestellt.
Das in den Schmierölen'A bis D enthaltene Dispersant-Additiv
besteht aus
1) etwa 65 Gewichtsprozent eines durch Umsetzen eines Polyiso-,
butenylbernsteinsäureanhydrids mit einem Polyäthylenpolyamin in einem Polyäthylenpolyamin-Polyisobutenylbernsteinsäureanhydrid-Äquivalentverhältnis
von etwa 2,0 : 1 hergestellten Reaktionsprodukts,
2) etwa 16 Gewichtsprozent eines durch Umsetzen von Calciumoxid in einem wäßrigen Medium mit einem Phenol erhaltenen Calciumphenolats,
3) etwa 7 Gewichtsprozent eines Calciumsulfonats,
4) etwa 9 Gewichtsprozent eines Zinkdialkyldithiophosphats und
5) etwa 3,0 Gewichtsprozent Mineralöl.
Die Wirksamkeit der Acylierungsprodukte der Erfindung in Schmiermittelgemischen wird durch die in der nachstehenden Tabelle I
zusammengestellten Ergebnisse des Emulsionstests erläutert.

Die Demulgatoreigenschaften der Acylierungsprodukte der Erfindung werden durch die in der vorstehenden Tabelle aufgeführten .
Falcon-Motor-Testergebnisse erläutert. Bei diesem Test wird ein Ford-Falcon β-Zylindermotor benutzt 5 der unter sich zyklisch
wiederholenden Bedingungen gefahren wird, wobei sich jeder

Der Motor ist mit einer Wasserkühlung für den Kipphebelgehäusedeckel
modifiziert, durch die die Temperatur des Kipphebelge-Musedeckels
bei etwa 40,56 bis 46f11°C gehalten wird. Während
des Zyklus werden die Durchblasgase durch einen Kondensator geführt, aus dem das darin abgeschiedene Kondensat in das Kurbelgehäuse
zurückgeleitet wird. Der Zyklus wird Jeden Tag fünfmal

Die tägliche Yersiachsauswertung besteht darin, daß man den Kipphebelgehäusedeckel auf Emulsionsansätze überprüft und nach einer
numerischen Skala von 1 bis 10 bewertet, bei der der Wert 10
die höchstmögliche Sauberkeit, d.h. Freiheit von wäßrigen Emulsionsansätzen bzw. Ablagerungen,bedeutet. Dazu wird der Kipphebelgehäusedeckel jeweils nach 13 3/4-stündiger Betriebsdauer abgenommen und begutachtet und dann sofort wieder montiert.
13 3/4 Stunden ergibt. Dann wird der Motor jeweils für den Rest des Tages, also 10 1/4 Stunden, abgestellt. Dieses Testprogramm wird an aufeinanderfolgenden Tagen jeweils wiederholt. Die tägliche Yersiachsauswertung besteht darin, daß man den Kipphebelgehäusedeckel auf Emulsionsansätze überprüft und nach einer
numerischen Skala von 1 bis 10 bewertet, bei der der Wert 10
die höchstmögliche Sauberkeit, d.h. Freiheit von wäßrigen Emulsionsansätzen bzw. Ablagerungen,bedeutet. Dazu wird der Kipphebelgehäusedeckel jeweils nach 13 3/4-stündiger Betriebsdauer abgenommen und begutachtet und dann sofort wieder montiert.

Zusätzlich zu den Acylierungsprodukten der Erfindung können in
Brennstoffen
den Kraft- und / oder Schmiermitteln natürlich auch andere bekannte
Additive verwendet werden. Geeignete Additive sind beispielsweise aschehaltige Detergent-Zusätze, aschefreie Dispersant-Zusätze,
Viskositätsindexverbesserer, stockpunktsenkende Zusätze, Schaumbremser, Hochdruckzusätze, Rostinhibitoren,
Oxidations- und Korrosionsschutzmittel und Gemische der genannten Zusatzstoffe in verschiedenen Mengenverhältnissen. Beispiele
in Kombination mit den Acylierungsprodukten der Erfindung verwendbarer aschehaltiger Detergent-Zusätze sind die derzeit erhältlichen
öllöslichen neutralen und basischen Alkali- oder Erdalkalimetallsalze von SuIfon-, Carbon- oder organischen
Phosphorsäuren. Diese Additive können beispielsweise durch Umsetzen eines Olefinpolymerisats, z.B. Polyisobuten, mit einem
Molekulargewicht von etwa 2000 mit einem Phosphorierungsmittel, z.B. PhosphortriChlorid, -heptasulfid, -pentasulfid oder
PhosphortriChlorid und Schwefel, weißer Phosphor und ein Schwefelhalogenid
oder Dithiophosphorsäurechlorid, hergestellt werden. Am gebräuchlichsten sind die Natrium-, Kalium-, Lithium-,
Calcium-, Magnesium-, Strontium- und Bariumsalze dieser Säuren, sowie verschiedene Gemische der genannten Salze.
Der Ausdruck "basisches Salz·1 bezeichnet Metallsalze, die Metall
im Überschuß über die - bezogen auf die vorhandenen organischen Säurereste - stöchiometrische Menge enthalten. Basische Salze
werden üblicherweise hergestellt, indem man eine Minerälöllösung
der Säure mit einem Metallneutralisierungsmittel, z.B. einem Metalloxid, -hydroxid, -carbonat, -bicarbonat oder -sulfid, im
Überschuß über die stöchiometrische Menge auf über etwa 500C

erhitzt. Außerdem können bei diesem Neutralisationsverfahren verschiedene Promotoren verwendet werden, die die Einverleibung
des großen Metallüberschusses fördern. Diese Promotoren sind bekannt.
Beispiele geeigneter Promotoren sind phenolische Verbindungen, z.B. Phenol, Naphthol, Alkylphenole, Thiophenol,
sulfurierte Alkylphenole und die verschiedenen Kondensationsprodukte von Formaldehyd mit einer phenolischen.;Verbindung, Alkoho-
Athylenglykolätiier
Ie, wie Methanol, 2-Propanol, Octylalkohol, /(Cello solve, Carbitol),
Äthyl englykol, Stearylalkohol und Cyclohexylalkohol, und
Amine, wie Anilin, Phenylendiamin, Phenothiazin, Phenyl-ßnaphthylamin
und Dodecylamin. Ein besonders wirksames Verfahren zur Herstellung basischer Salze besteht darin, daß man die Säure
mit einem Überschuß einer basischen Erdalkalimetallverbindung in Gegenwart eines phenolischen Promotors und einer kleinen
Menge Wasser mischt und dieses Gemisch bei erhöhter Temperatur, z.B. bei etwa 60 bis 200°C, mit Kohlendioxid behandelt.
Beispiele geeigneter Hochdruckzusätze, Korrosionsinhibitoren und Oxidationsinhibitoren sind chlorierte aliphatische Kohlenwasserstoffe,
wie chlorierte Wachse, organische Sulfide und Polysulfide, wie Benzyldisulfid, Bis-(chlorbenzyl)-disulfid,
Dibutyltetrasulfid, sulfuriertes Spermöl, sulfurierter Ölsäuremethylester,
sulfurierte Alkylphenole, sulfuriertes Dipenten und sulfurierte Terpene, phosphorsulfurierte Kohlenwasserstoffe,
wie das Reaktionsprodukt eines Phosphorsulfids mit Terpentin oder Methyloleat, Phosphorigsäureester, hauptsächlich die di-
und trikohlenwasserstoffsubstituierten Phosphite, wie Dibutyl-,
Diheptyl-, Dicyclohexyl-, Pentylphenyl-, Dipentylphenyl-, Tridecyl-,
Distearyl-, Dimethylnaphthyl-, Oleyl-4-pentylphenyl-

und polypropylen-(Molekulargewicht 500)- oder diisobutylsubsti-.
tuiertes Phenylphosphit, Metallthiocarbamate, wie Zinkdioctyldithiocarbamat
und Bariumheptylphenyldithiocarbaraat, Dithiophosphate
von Metallen der Gruppe II, wie Zarkdicyclohexyl-,
Zinkdioctyl-, Barium-di-(heptylphenyl)- und Cadmiumdinonyldithiophosphat
und Zinksalze einer durch Umsetzen von
Phosphorpentasulfid mit einem äquimolaren Gemisch aus Isopropylalkohol
und n-Hexylalkohol erhaltenen Dithiophosphorsäure.
Die Kraftstoffe oder Schmiermittelgemische können auch Metalldetergent-Additive
in Mengen enthalten, die üblicherweise in einem Bereich von etwa 0,001 bis 15 Gewichtsprozent liegen. Für
einige Anwendungszwecke, z.B. zum Schmieren von Schiffsdieselmotoren,
können die Schmiermittel bis zu 30 Prozent eines Detergent-Additivs enthalten. Die Gemische, z.B. Schmiermittel
oder Treibstoffe, können auch Hochdruckzusätze, Viskositätsindexverbesserer und stockpunktsenkende Mittel in Mengen von jeweils
etwa 0,001 bis 15 und vorzugsweise 0,1 bis etwa 10 Prozent enthalten. In technischen Gemischen, z.B. Treibstoffen
oder Schmierölen, kann man eines oder mehrere der vorstehend erwähnten Additive in Kombination mit etwa 0,001 bis 20, vorzugsweise
0,1 bis 10 Gewichtsprozent Acylierungsprodukt der Erfindung verwenden.
Ölige Materialien, z.B. Schmiermittel, denen die Acylierungsprodukte
der Erfindung zugesetzt werden können, sind beispielsweise tierische und pflanzliche Öle, wie Ricinusöl und Schmalzöl,
sowie lösungsmittel- oder säureraffinierte, paraffin-, naphthen- oder gemischt-paraffin-naphthen-basische Mineral-

schmieröle. Auch aus Kohle oder Ölschiefer gewonnene Öle mit Schmierölviskosität sind geeignete Basisöle. Die synthetischen
Schmieröle umfassen die Kohlenwasserstoffe und halogensubstituierten
Kohlenwasserstofföle;, wie Olefinhomo- und -mischpolymerisate
(z.B. Polybutylene, Propylen-Isobutylen-Copolymerisate und chlorierte Polybutylene), Alkylbenzole (z*B. Dodecylbenzol,
Tetradecylbenzol, Dinonylbenzol.und Di-(2-äthylhexyl)benzol,
und Polyphenyle (z.B. Bi- und Terphenyle). Eine andere Klasse bekannter synthetischer Schmieröle sind die Alkylenoxidpolymeren
und -Mischpolymeren sowie deren Derivate, bei welchen die endständigen
Hydroxylgruppen durch Verestern oder Verathem modifiziert sind. Beispiele solcher synthetischer Schmieröle sind
durch Polymerisation von Äthylen- oder Propylenoxid erhaltene öle, die Alkyl- und Aryläther dieser Polyoxyalkylene, z.B.
Polyisopropylenglykolmethyläther mit einem durchschnittlichen
Molekulargewicht von 1000, Diphenylether von Polyäthylenglykolen
mit einem Molekulargewicht von 500 bis 1000 und Diäthyläther
von Polypropylenglykolen mit einem Molekulargewicht von 1000 bis 1500, und die Mono- und Polycarbonsäureester solcher Polyoxyalkylene,
z.B. die Essigsäureester, die Ester gemischter C^^g-Fettsäuren oder der C^-Oxosäurediester von Tetraäthylenglykol.
Eine weitere Klasse als Basisöle geeigneter synthetischer Schmieröle sind die Ester von Dicarbonsäuren, z.B. Phthal-,
Bernstein-, Malein-, Äzelain«, Kork-, . Sebacin-, Fumar- und
Adipinsäure, sowie Linolsäuredimer mit einer Vielzahl verschiedener Alkohole, z.B. Butyl», HexyX-, Dodecyl» und 2-Xthylhexylalkohol,
sov/ie Pentaerythrit. Spezielle Beispiele solcher Ester

sind Dibutyladipat, Di(2-äthylhexyl)-sebacat, Di-n-hexylfumarat,
Dioctylsebacat, Diisooctylazelat, Diisodecylazelat, Dioctylphthalat,
Didecylphthalat, Dieicosylsebacat, der 2-Äthylhexyidiester
des Linolsäuredimers und der durch Umsetzen von 1 Mol
Sebacinsäure mit 2 Mol 2-Äthylhexylalkohol erhaltene komplexe
Ester.
Eine weitere geeignete Klasse synthetischer Schmiermittel sind
Öle auf Siliciumbasis, wie die Polyalkyl-, Polyaryl-, PoIyalkoxy-
oder Polyaryloxysiloxanöle und Silicatöle, z.B. Tetraäthyl-, Tetraisopropyl-, Tetra-(2-äthylhexyl)-, Tetra-(4-methyl-2-tetraäthyl)-
und Tetra-(p-tert.-butylphenyl)-silikat, Hexyl-(4-methyl-2-pentoxy)-disiloxan,
Poly(methyl)-siloxane und Poly(methylphenyl)-siloxane. Weitere brauchbare synthetische
Schmiermittel bzw. Basisöle sind unter anderem die flüssigen Ester von Phosphor enthaltenden Säuren, z.B. Tricresylphosphat,
Trioctylphosphat und der Decanphosphonsäürediäthylester, sowie polymere Tetrahydrofurane.

Claims (1)
- Patentansprüche! Λ J Öllösliehe, stickstoffhaltige Aeylierungsprodukte, herstellbar durch Umsetzen mindestens einer Garbonsäure und/oder . mindestens eines Garbonsäureanhydrids, -halogenids und/odereines Esters eines niederen aliphatischen Alkohols mit mindestens 8 aliphatischen Kohlenstoffatomen im Carbonsäureteil (Komponente A) mit mindestens etwa 0,001 Äquivalenten mindestens eines Polyoxyalkylenpolyamins mit einem Durchschnittsmolekulargewicht von mindestens etwa 200 (Komponente B).2. Acylierungsprodukt nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es unter Verwendung von bis zu 4,0' und insbesondere' etwa 0,1 bis 2,0 Äquivalenten Komponente B pro Äquivalent Komponente A hergestellt worden ist.3· Acylierungsprodukt nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es unter Verwendung eines Acylierungsmittels mit im wesentlichen gesättigten Kohlenwasserstoffsubstituenten mit mindestens etwa 50 aliphatischen Kohlenstoffatomen pro Carboxylgruppe hergestellt worden ist.Ά. Acylierungsprodukt nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3> dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es unter Verwendung einer kohlenwasserstoffsubstituierten Bernsteinsäure bzw. eines kohlenwasserstoffsubstituierten Bernsteinsäureanhydfids mit im wesentlichen gesättigten Kohlenwasserstoffsubstituenten, insbesondere solchen mit einem durchschnitt liehen Molekularge-509823/0919wicht von etwa 7OO bis 5O°O, als Acylierungsmittel hergestellt worden ist.5. Acylierungsprodukt nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es unter Verwendung eines Acylierungsmittels hergestellt worden ist, dessen Kohlenwasserstoffsubstituenten von einem gegebenenfalls chlorierten Polypropylen, Polyisobutylen und/oder Athylen-Propylen-Copolymerisat abgeleitet sind.6. Acylierungsprodukt nach einem.der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es unter Verwendung eines Polyoxy— alkylenpolyamins mit einem durchschnittlichen Molekulargewicht von mindestens etwa 200 und vorzugsweise höchstens etwa 4000 als Komponente B hergestellt worden ist.7. Acylierungsprodukt nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, des es unter Verwendung eines Polyoxyalkylendi- oder -triamins als Komponente B hergestellt worden ist.8. Acylierungsprodukt nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7j dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es unter Verwendung eines Acylierungsmittels mit im wesentlichen gesättigten Kohlenwasserstoffsubstituenten mit einem durchschnittlichen Molekulargewicht von etwa 400 bis 10 000 hergestellt worden ist.9- Acylierungsprodukt nach Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es unter Verwendung einer Monocarbonsäure oder eines acylierend wirkenden Monocarbonsäurederivats, insbesondere509823/0919eines Monocarbonsaureesters eines einwertigen niederen aliphatischen Alkohols, als Aeylierungsmittel hergestellt worden ist.10. Acylierungsprodukt nach Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, des es unter Verwendung einer substituierten Acrylsäure oder deren reaktionsfähigem Derivat als Acylierungsmittel hergestellt worden ist.11. Acylierungsprodukt nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es unter Verwendung eines Polyoxyalkylenpolyamins der allgemeinen FormelH2If - B—f- 0 - R1 -^ HH2 (I)5in der Il und E. gleich oder verschieden sind und je eine Alkylengruppe bedeuten und m eine Zahl von etwa 3 bis 70 bedeutet, oder .der allgemeinen FormelR'_/-R-f- 0 - E1-^ NH273_6 (H),in der S und R-1 die vorstehende Bedeutung haben, R1 einen gesättigten 3- bis 6-wertigen Kohlenwasserstoffrest mit bis zu etwa- 10 Kohlenstoffatomen darstellt und η jeweils eine Zahl von etwa 1 bis 40 ist., mit der Maßgabe., daß die Summe der Zahlenwerte der Indices η etwa 3 bis 70 beträgt, hergestellt worden ist. Acylierungsprodukt nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es unter Verwendung einer Dicarbon-509823/0919236011Ssäure oder eines -anhydrids mit im wesentlichen gesättigten, von einem gegebenenfalls halogenierten ci-Olefinpolymerisat abgeleiteten Kohlenwasserstoffsubstituenten als Acylierungsmittel hergestellt worden ist. >13. Acylierungsprodukt nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es durch Umsetzen der Komponente .A mit der Komponente B bei Temperaturen von etwa· 25 bis 300 C hergestellt worden ist.14. Verfahren zur Herstellung der Acylierungsprodukte nach Anspruch. 1 bis 13» dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man mindestens eine Carbonsäure und/oder mindestens ein Carbonsäureanhydrid, -halogenid und/oder einen Ester eines niederen aliphatischen Alkohols mit mindestens 8 aliphatischen Kohlenstoffatomen im Carbonsäureteil (Komponente A) mit mindestens etwa 0,001 Äquivalenten mindestens eines Polyoxyalkylenpolyamins mit einem Durchschnittsmolekulargewicht von mindestens etwa 200 (Komponente B) umsetzt.15· Verfahren nach Anspruch 1A-, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man die Umsetzung bei Temperaturen von etwa 25 bis 3000C durchführt .16. Verwendung der Acylierungsprodukte gemäß Anspruch 1 bis 13 als Demulgatoren.509823/0919
