Description
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft neue 4-Kethoxy~2,6-dianiino-s-triazine
Verfahren zu ihrer Herstellung, die Verwendung der neuen Triazine zur Bekämpfung von Unkräutern und Ungräsern,:
weiterhin Mittel zur Bekämpfung von Unkräutern und Ungräsern, die
diese neuen Wirkstoffe enthalten und Verfahren zur Bekämpfung von Unkräutern und Ungräsern unter Verwendung der neuen Wirkstoffe oder
der sie enthaltenden Mittel.
Es sind aus der Literatur, z.B. aus dem Schweiz.Patent
Nr.337 019 4-Methoxy-2,ö-diamino-s-trlazine bereits bekannt
geworden.

Diese neuen Iriazln-Derivate rr.it Cyclopropylaminogruppe
werden ger;:äss der vorliegenden Erfindung erhalten, indem man ein
Chlor-bis-arr.ino-s-triazin der Formel II
(CH3)n

in der R. und η die unter Formel I angegebenen Bedeutungen "haben,
mit einem Alkalimethylat, vorzugsweise i;atriurr.methylat, umsetzt.
Statt des genannten Alkoholates kann auch das entsprechende Alkalimetallhydroxid
mit Methanol verwendet werden.
Die neuen s-Triazine der Formel I zeigen sehr gute herbizide
Eigenschaften und sind zur Bekämpfung von Unkräutern und Ungräsern bestens geeignet. Gegenüber den bisher aus der Reihe
der Triazine bekannt gewordenen Herbiziden besitzen- die neuen s-Triazine
ein wesentlich breiteres Wirkungsspektrum. Sie.zeichnen- sich weiterhin durch einen schnelleren-Wirkungseintritt ;;,.;-v;
und eine geringe Phytotoxität gegenüber einzelnen Kulturpflan- -i■Ί
zen aus. Besonders hervorzuheben:ist die gute .Herbizid-Wirkung ?'>!
auf schwer bekämpfbare Unkräuter und Ungräser, wie zum Beispiel-■■
auf Kamille, Hirsearten und Doldengewächse. Daher eignen· sich"■::■■■■;. V!
die erfingunsgemässen Wirkstoffe besser zur totalen Unkrautbekämpfung
als bisher bekannte und dafür eingesetzte Triazine, wie zum Beispiel das bekannte 4-Kethoxy-2 ,ö-bis-isOpropylamirio-striazin.
Die folgenden Versuche dienen zur Veranschaulichung der
herbiziden Wirkung der neuen s-Triazin-Derivate iir: Vergleich

die behandelten Fflanzen in einer Klimakammer bei 22° C und 70 %
rel. Luftfeuchtigkeit unter Tageslicht gehalten.

Die Testpflanzen werden in ein frisch zubereitetes Saatbeet eingesät und der Wirkstoff als wässrige Dispersion,
hergestellt aus einem 25^igen Spritzpulver, 22 Tage nach dem

Testpflanze als Vertreter der Gräser : Hafer
Auf die Oberfläche von in Topfen befindlicher feuchter,
steriler Erde wurde mit dein zu prüfenden Wirkstoff vermischte

Erde aufgebracht. Dann wurden die Hafersahen auf die Herbizidhaltige
Erde aufgestreut und mit steriler, feuchter Erde bedeckt. Die Töpfe wurden dann in einer Klimakammer bei 220C und 70% Tel.
Luftfeuchtigkeit gehalten. .Nach 20 Tagen wurde die Wirkung der
neuen s-Triazine,verglichen mit dem bekannten 4-Methoxy-2,6-bisisopropylar:.ino-s-triazin
in % ermittelt. Die Jeweils, eingearbeitete Wirkstoffmenge findet sich im Kopf der Tabelle.

Zur Herstellung von herbiziden Mitteln werden die Wirkstoffe
mit geeigneten Trägerstoffen und/oder Verteilungsßitteln
verrr.ischt. Zur Verbreiterung des Wirkungsspektrums der erfindungsgernässen
Triazinderivate kann man diesen Mitteln noch andere Herbizide zumischen, beispielsweise Herbizide aus der Reihe der Triazine,
wie andere Halogen-diamino-s-triazine, Alkoxy- und Alkyl-thio-diamino-s-triazine,
Triazole, Diazine wie Uracile, allphatische
Carbonsäuren und Halogencarbonsäuren, halogenierte Benzoesäuren und Phenylessigsäuren, Aryloxyaikancarbonsäuren, Hydrazide,
Amide, Nitrile und Ester solcher Carbonsäuren, Carbaminsäure- und Thiocarbaminsäureester, Harnstoffe etc.
Die folgenden Beispiele beschreiben die Herstellung der neuen s-Triazine. Die Temperaturen sind in Celsiusgraden angegeben.
In eine Lösung von 2,2 g Natrium in 250 ml absolutem
Methanol werden 10,7 g 2-Aethylaniino-4-chlor-6-cyclapropylairiinos-triazin
eingetragen und 18 Stunden am Rückfluss erhitzt. Anschliessend wird das' Methanol abdestilliert und der Rückstand
in 600 ml Wasser gegossen. Die wässrige Lösung wird dann mehr- _ mais mit Essigsäureäthylester extrahiert. Nach dem Neutralwaschen
und Trocknen wird das Lösungsmittel abdestilliert.
Der Rückstand wird mit Petroläther verrieben, abgetrennt und getrocknet. Das 2-Aethylarnino-6-cyclopropylamino-4-methoxys-triazin
hat den Schmelzpunkt 75-77°.
In eine Lösung von 1,3 g Natrium in 15C ml Methanol werden *? g 4-Chlor-2,6-bis cylopropylamino-s-triaziri eingetragen
und 20 Stunden arr. Rückfluss erhitzt. Danr. wird das Reaktionsgen.isch
am Vakuum von einem Teil des Methanols, befreit und in 600 ml Wasser gegeben. Nach 24 Stunden kristallisiert das 2,6-Bis-cyclopropylamino-4-methoxy-s-triazin
aus, wird abgetrennt, gewaschen, getrocknet und aus Cyclohexan umkristallisiert.
Schmelzpunkt 100,5 - 104°.

Die Herstellung erfiridungsgei:.ässer herbizider Mittel
erfolgt in an sich bekannter Weise durch Vernaschen und Vermählen
von Wirkstoffen der allgemeinen Formel I mit geeigneten
Trägerstoffen, gegebenenfalls unter Zusatz von gegenüber den Wirkstoffen inerten Dispersions- öder Lösungsmitteln. Die Wirkstoffe
können in den folgenden Aufarbeitungsforir.en vorliegen
und angewendet worden:
feste Aufarbeitungsformen: Streumittel, Granulate, Umhüllungs- -
granulate, Imprägnierungsgranulate und Homogengranulate:;
irr Wasser dispergierbare :Wirkstoffkonzentrate: Spritzpulver (wettable
powder) Pasten, Emulsionen; flüssige Aüfarboitungsformen: Lösungen.'
Zur Herstellung fester Aufarbeitungsformen (Streumittel,
Granulate) worden die Wirkstoffe mit festen Trägerstoffen vermischt.
Die KoiTigrösse der Trägerstoffe beträgt für Streumittel
ca. 0,075 bis O,,2 inr. und für Granulate 0,2 mm oder mehr. Die
Wirkstoffkorizcntrati'.rion in der; festen Aufarbeitungsformen betragen
in dor Regel 0,5 bis %%, Diesen Gemisehen können ferner den
Wirkstoff stabilisierende Zusätze und/oder nichtionische,
sowie anioneriaktive stoffe zugegeben werden, die' beispielsweise

die Haftfestigkeit der Wirkstoffe auf Pflanzen und Pflanzenteilen
verbessern (Haft- und Klebemittel) und/oder eine bessere Benetzbarkeit
(Netzmittel) sowie Dispergierbarkeit (Dispergatoren) ge- "
währleisten.
In Wasser- dispergierbare- VJirkstof fkonzentrate, d.h.Spritzpulver
(wettable powder), Pasten und Emulsionskonzentrate, stellen Mittel dar, die rr.it Wasser auf jede- gewünschte Konzentration verdünnt werden können» Sie bestehen aus Wirkstoff, Trägerstoff, gegebenenfalls
den Wirkstoff stabilisierenden Zusätzen, oberflä--. chenaktiven Substanzen und Antischaurr.mitteln und gegebenenfalls1 - Lösungsmitteln.
Die Wirkstoffkonzentration in diesen Kitteln beiträgt 5-80^. - - ■
Die Spritzpulver (wettable powder) und Pasten werden erhalten, indem man die Wirkstoffe mit Dispergiermitteln und pulverförmigen
Trägerstoffen in geeigneten Vorrichtungen bis zur Homogenität vermischt und vermahlt. Als Antischaummittel kommen zum
Beispiel Silicone in Frage. Die Wirkstoffe werden; mit den oben aufgeführten Zusätzen so vermischt, vermählen, gesiebt und
passiert, dass bei den Spritzpulvern der feste Anteil eine. Korngrösse
von 0,02-0,C4 mm und bei den Pasten von 0,003 mm nicht
überschreitet. Zur Herstellung von Emulsionskonzentraten und Pasten
werden Dispergiermittel, organische Lösungsmittel und Walser verwendet. Die Lösungsmittel müssen praktisch geruchlos, nicht
phytotoxisch, den Wirkstoffen gegenüber inert und nicht leicht
brennbar sein.
Ferner können die erfindungsgemässen; Mittel in: Form; von ,
Lösungen angewendet werden. Hierzu wird der Wirkstoff bzw, werden mehrere Wirkstoffe der allgemeinen Formel; I'. in geeigneten; organischen Lösungsmitteln, LÖsungsmittelgemischon oder Wasser-ge-lö-st.
Die Lösungen sollen die Wirkstoffe in einem,. Konzentrationsbereieh
von 1-20$ enthalten. ■ ■'
Den- beschriebenen erfindungsgemässen Kitteln la.ssen sich
andere biozide Wirkstoffe- beimischen.. So können" die neuen? Mittelausser
den genannten Verbindungen der. allgemeinen Formel Γ und
anderen Herbiziden-,, zum Bei spiel auch. Insektizide,... Fungizid©,,=

Bakterizide, Fungistatika, üakteriostatika oder Nematozide zur
Verbreiterung des Wirkungsspektrums enthalten. Die erfindungsgemässen
Kittel können ferner noch Pflanzendünger, Spurenelemente usw. enthalten.
Im folgenden werden Aufarbeitungsforjaen dieser Wirkstoffe
beschrieben. Sofern nichts anderes ausdrücklich vermerkt ist, bedeuten Teile Gewichtsteile.
Granulat
Zur Herstellung eines 5$igen Granulates werden die folgenden
Stoffe verwendet:
5 Teile 4-Methoxy-2-tert.butylamino-6-cyclopropyl-
amino-s-triazin 0,25 Teile Epichlorhydrin
0,25 Teile Cetylpolyglykoläther 3,50 Teile Polyglykol ("Carbowax") 91 Teile Kaolin (Korngrösse 0,3-0,8 mm)
Die Aktivsubstanz wird mit Epichlorhydrin vermischt und mit 6 Teilen Aceton gelöst, hierauf wird fölyglykol und Cetylpolyglykoläther
zugesetzt. Die so erhaltene Lösung wird auf Kaolin aufgesprüht und anschliessend das Aceton im Vakuum verdampft.
Zur Herstellung eines a) 50$igen, b) 25/olgen und c) lO^igen
Spritzpulvers werden folgende Bestandteile verwendet:

Der angegebene Wirkstoff wird auf die entsprechenden Trägerstcffe (Kaolin, Kreide) aufgezogen und anschliessend vermischt
und vermählen. Man erhält ein Spritzpulver von vorzüglicher Benetzbarkeit und Schwebefähigkeit. Aus einem solchen Spritzpulver
können durch Verdünnen rr.it Wasser Suspensionen jeder gewünschten Wirkstoffkonzentration erhalten werden.
Zur Herstellung einer 4 5;iigen Paste werden folgende Stoffe

Methyl, Aethyl, Isopropyl, Cyclopropyl, 1-Methylcyclopropyl, sec.Butyl, tert.Butyl, Isobutyl, ß-Methoxy-äthyl, γ-Methoxy-n-propyl, l-Cyanoäthyl-(l), l-Cyanoprop-(l)-yl, 2-Cyanoprop-(2)-yl, 2-Cyanobut-(2)-yl oder 3-Cyanopent-(3)-yl, und
η Null oder 1 bedeuten, .zusammen mit für die Unkrautbekämpfung geeigneten Trägerstoffen und/oder Verteilungsmitteln und gegebenenfalls anderen"biozidenWirkstoffen enthält. - 9.
