Die Erfindung betrifft neue Veresterungsprodukte hochmolekularer Monocarbonsäuren der allgemeinen Formel I,
R-COOH (I)
in der der Rest R einen mindestens 50 aliphatiaohe C-Atome enthaltenden Kohlenwaeseratoffreat mit einem Durohechnittsmolekulargewicht von etwa 700 bis 100 000 bedeutet, der mindestens
80 % gesättigte Bindungen aufweist, mit mindestens einem mehrwertigen Alkohol mit 2 bis 10 Hydroxylgruppen und bis «u etwa
40 aliphatischen C-Atomen oder mindestens einem einwertigen oder mehrwertigen Aainoalkohol in einem Molverhältnis von etwa
1:1 bis au einea Äquivaientverhältnto von etwa 1:1»

Ferner soll der Rest R im wesentlichen frei von ölldslich
machenden Verzweigungen sein, d»ho Gruppen mit mehr als etwa

vorhanden sein dürfen« soll ihr Anteil vorzugsweise höchstenf?

Wie in den vorgenannten Patentschriften erläutert, gibt es
verschiedene Verfahren zur Herstellung dieser hochmolekularen
Monocarbonsäurenc Das Verfahren besteht allgemein in der Um-•ettung (1) einer olefinisch ungesättigten« niederen Monocarbonsäure oder deren Halogenid oder Anhydrid mit (2) entweder
einem olefinisch ungesättigten Kohlenwasserstoff oder einem chlorierten Kohlenwasserstoff,, die jeweils mindestens etwa
50 aliphatisehe C-Atome enthalten, bei Temperaturen von etwa

Anstelle der vorgenannten hochmolekularen Kohlenwasserstoffe und
Chlorkohlenwasserstoffe können auch Kohlenwasserstoffe verwendet werden, die im Hinblick auf die Reaktion mit der olefinisch ungesättigten niederen Monocarbensäure aktivierende polare Sub»
stituenten enthaltene Serartige polare Reste sind Sulfid- und

und der Kraftstoffleitungen und verringern oder verhindern das Auftreten von kohlenstoffhaltigen Ablagerungen im Motorsystem9

(A) Gemäß Beispiel 1 wird ein Sater durch Kondensation von
3 Äquivalenten Mannit mit 1 Äquivalent des Säurechlorids einer
Monocarbonsäuren hergestellt durch Umsetzung von 1 Mol eines Polyisobutylene vom durchschnittlichen Molekulargewicht 15OOr
mit 2p5 Mol Chloracetylchlorid gssiäß USA-Patentschrift 3 340
