Verfahren zur Herstellung von mit einem Oarboxylat eines
mehrwertigen Metalls koordinierten Metalldiorganophosphoro-
dithioaten
Die Erfindung betrifft komplexe Metalldiorganophosphorodithioate
und ein Verfahren zu ihrer Herstellung.
In der USA-Patentschrift 3 102 096 sind mit Metallcarboxylaten
koordinierte Komplexe von Diorganophosphorodithioatsalzen beschrieben, die eine verringerte Korrosions- (
wirkung auf Metalle, eine erhöhte Löslichkeit und verbesserte Reibungs- und Antioxydationseigenschaften bei Verwendung
in Schmiermitteln und Übertragungsmedien aufweisen. Dieses verbesserte Verhalten steht in Beziehung zu dem gesteigerten
Metallgehalt, der sich durch die Einführung oder Einverleibung des Metallcarboxylats ergibt.
Gemäß dieser Patentschrift erfolgt die Herstellung der Komplexe in Anwesenheit von flüchtigen organischen Lö-

sungsmitteln, z.B. Benzol, Toluol oder Xylol. Diese Lösungsmittel werden für eine praktisch vollständige azeotrope
Entfernung von Wasser, die eine notwendige Verfahrensstufe bei der Herstellung der Komplexe darstellt, verwendet.
Wasser ist normalerweise in dem Reaktionsgemisch als Verdünnungsmittel oder als Hydratationswasser des Metallcarboxylats
oder als Produkt der Neutralisation des Metallphosphorodithioats
und des Metallcarboxylats anwesend. Lösungsmittel sind ebenfalls erforderlich, um das Reaktionsgemisch
zu verdünnen und allgemein die Handhabung der Reaktionsteilnehmer und Produkte zu verbessern.
Bei Herstellung in technischem Maßstab erfordert jedoch die Verwendung von flüchtigen entflammbaren Lösungsmitteln
zusätzliche Lagerbehälter, hinreichende Entlüftungsund Feuerschutzeinrichtungen sowie, aus wirtschaftlichen
Gründen, Reinigungseinrichtungen zur Rückgewinnung von Lösungsmitteln. Darüber hinaus muß das Reaktionsprodukt
noch von dem organischen Lösungsmittel abgetrennt werden, bevor es in einer endgültigen ölZusammenstellung verwendet
werden kann, so daß eine weitere Destillationsstufe notwendig ist. Außer diesen besonderen Arbeitsmaßnahmen und Verfahrenseinrichtungen
und den damit verbundenen Kosten führt die Verwendung von organischen Lösungsmitteln nicht immer
zu beständigen Komplexen. Gewisse Komplexe, die in derartigen Lösungsmitteln nur schwierig herzustellen sind, können
später einer chemischen Inderung oder Umwandlung unterliegen,

z.B. "bei längeren Lagerzeiten oder wenn sie während der
Handhabung (Demperaturänderungen unterworfen werden, z.B. bei der Versendung. Sie werden in ihrer fluiden Umgebung
inhomogen und können als Folge hiervon Metallcarboxylat, Vereinigungen von Metallcarboxylat und Metallbase oder
andere unlösliche Substanzen abscheiden. Es ist vorgeschlagen worden, stattdessen Verdünnungsöle, z.B. lösungsmittelraffinierte
paraffinische oder naphthenische öle oder andere Arten von Kohlenwasserstofflösungsmitteln als Trägermaterial
für das Reaktionsgemisch zu verwenden, jedoch sind diese Austauschstoffe ungünstig oder unwirksam, da sie die
Komplexbildung des Metallcarboxylats beschränken oder vollständig verhindern können. Sie Verdünnungeöle scheinen die
Komplexbildung selbst dann zu verhindern, wenn Xylol oder Benzol ebenfalls anwesend ist.
Es besteht daher ein ausgeprägtes technisches Bedürfnis nach einem Weg zur Herstellung beständiger mit
einem Carboxylat eines mehrwertigen Metalls koordinierter Salze von Phosphorodithioaten mit hohen Metall/Phosphor-Verhältnissen
ohne Notwendigkeit zur Anwendung umständlicher Herstellungsmethoden mit den daraus folgenden technischen
und wirtschaftlichen Nachteilen.
Es wurde nun gefunden, daß beständige, mit einem Oarboxylat eines mehrwertigen Metalls koordinierte Phosphorodithioatsalze
mehrwertiger Metalle (polyvalent metatl carboxylate-coordinated polyvalent metal phosphorodithioate

salts) mit erhöhten Metall/Phosphor-Verhältnissen durch
Umsetzung eines Metallcarboxylats mit einem Metalldiorganophosphorodithioat
oder einem Metalloxydkomplex davon in Gegenwart eines aromatischen Mineralöls hergestellt werden
können. Das öl unterstützt die Komplexbildungsreaktion,
stabilisiert das Komplexprodukt und gestattet die Bildung von Komplexen mit höheren Metall/Phosphor-Verhältnissen,
als sie bisher erreichbar waren.
Gemäß der Erfindung ist danach ein Verfahren zur
Herstellung von mit Oarboxylaten mehrwertiger Metalle koordinierten Metalldiorganophosphorodithioaten vorgesehen,
bei dem man ein Oarboxylat eines mehrwertigen Metalls (polyvalent metal carboxylate) mit einem Diorganophosphorodithioat
eines mehrwertigen Metalls (polyvalent metal diorganophosphorodithioate)
in Anwesenheit eines aromatischen Mineralöls umsetzt, vorzugsweise in Anwesenheit eines Erdölkohlenwasserstoff
Öls, das im Bereich von etwa 24-9 - 5380O (480
bis 10000F) siedet und einen Aromatengehalt von mindestens
80 #, vorzugsweise mindestens 90 %, hat.
Die bevorzugten Koordinationssalze gemäß der Erfindung
sind jene, bei denen das Metall/Phosphor-Verhältnis mindestens 1,5» besonders bevorzugt mindestens 2,0, beträgt.
Die Zinkearboxylatkomplexe, z.B. die Zinkacetat- und Zinkbenzoatkomplexe
von Zinkdiorganophosphorodithioaten, stellen die am meisten bevorzugten Salze dar. Andere geeignete Metallsalze
umfassen Salze von Metallen der Gruppen Ib, lib, IHa,

, VIIb und VIII des Periodensystems. Besonders brauchbar sind Eisen, Kobalt, Nickel, Kupfer, Aluminium-, Blei und
- wie vorstehend angegeben - Zink.
Die erfindungsgemäß verwendeten Metallphosphorodithioat-Reaktionsteilnehmer
können nach bekannten Arbeitsmethoden hergestellt werden. Gewöhnlich werden sie erzeugt,
indem man einen aliphatischen oder aromatischen Alkohol mit einem Phosphorsulfid umsetzt. Die sich ergebende Säure
wird mit einer mehrwertigen Metallbase, z.B. einem Metalloxyd, -hydroxyd oder -carbonat, neutralisiert, um das entsprechende
neutralisierte Metallsalz herzustellen. Überschüssige Metallbase kann mit der Dithiophosphorsäure
(phosphorodithioic) umgesetzt werden, so daß ein Metallbasenkomplex des Phosphorodithioatsalzes gebildet wird. Dieses
Metallphosphorodithioatsalz wird mit dem mehrwertigen
Metallcarboxylat bei erhöhter Temperatur in Anwesenheit des aromatischen Mineralöls vermischt, um das Koordinationsprodukt
zu bilden. Die Metalle in der Base und dem Carboxylat
brauchen nicht gleich zu sein. Das gegebenenfalls anwesende Wasser wird während der Reaktion entfernt. Wie in der
USA-Patentschrift 3 102 096 erörtert ist, ist die genaue Art der Bindung bisher nicht vollständig bekannt. Nach
theoretischen Erwägungen kann angenommen werden, daß es sich bei dem Produkt um einen Komplex vom Werner-Typ handelt.
Als nichtbeschränkendes Beispiel kann die Struktur eines bevorzugten Zinkkomplexes etwa in der folgenden Weise wie-

hierin kann R eine Alkyl-, Alkenyl-, Cycloalkyl-, Aryl-,
Alkaryl- oder Aralkylgruppe bedeuten, wobei R auch. Nichtkohlenwasserstoffatome
enthalten kann, etwa im Falle von Alkoxy-, Aryloxy-, Alkylthio-, Arylthio-, Alkylamino- und
Arylaminogruppen, und R zwischen etwa 3 und etwa 30 Kohlenstoff
atome aufweist; R* kann Wasserstoff oder eine Alkyl-, Cycloalkyl-, Aralkyl-, Aryl- oder Alkarylgruppe mit bis
zu 20 Kohlenstoffatomen sein. Sie Anwesenheit von ZnO in
der Struktur wird bevorzugt, jedoch sind die Komplexe gemäß der Erfindung nicht hierauf beschränkt. Außer dem Oxyd können
die Hydroxyde oder Carbonate verwendet werden.
Die organischen Gruppen der mehrwertigen Metalldiorganophosphorodithioate
können Alkyl- und Aralkylderivate umfassen, z.B. η-Butyl-, Isobutyl-, Amyl-, Hexyl-, Isohexyl-,
Decyl-, Dodecyl-, Octadecyl-, Oleyl-, Benzylgruppen
u.dgl., Cycloalkylgruppen, z.B. Cyclohexylgruppen, Neoalkylgruppen, z.B. 2,2-Dimethyl-i-propyl-, 2,2,4-Trimethyl-1-pentyl-,
2,2-Dimethyl-i-decyl-, 2,2,4-.Trimethyl-1-hexadecylgruppen
u.dgl., Aryl- und Alkarylgruppen, z.B. Phenyl-, Naphthyl-, 5DoIyI-, tert.-Amylphenyl-, Didodeeylphenyl-,
Wachsphenyl-, Efonylphenylgruppen u.dgl. Diese organischen
Substituenten der Dithiophosphorsäure können ebenfalls Nichtkohlenwasserstoff
gruppen enthalten, die Sauerstoff-, Schwefel-

und Stickstoffatome aufweisen, wie das bei den Definitionen für R und E1 angegeben worden ist, z.B. Methoxybutyl-,
Äthylthiophenyl- oder Butylaminoäthylgruppen. Es können aucb
Gemische von organischen Gruppen vorliegen, einschließlich Gemische von Isomeren, gemischten Alkyl- und Arylgruppen,
u.dgl.
Die mehrwertigen Metallcarboxylate umfassen Metallsalze
von aliphatischen Carbonsäuren, Arylcarbonsäuren und alkylsubstituierten Arylcarbonsäuren. Zu diesen Säuren gehören
beispielsweise Ameisensäure, Essigsäure, Propionsäure, Buttersäure, Stearinsäure, ölsäure, Linolensäure, Naphthensäure,
Benzoesäure, Naphthoesäure und Salicylsäure.
Das für die Erfindung wesentliche Reaktionsmedium besteht aus einem aromatischen Mineralöl, insbesondere einem
aromatischen öl mit Alkylseitenketten langer als Methylgruppen,
das im Bereich von etwa 249 bis etwa 5380O (480
bis 10000F) siedet. Dieses öl hat vorzugsweise einen Aromatengehalt
von mindestens etwa 90 %. öle dieses Typs werden
gewöhnlich nach dem darin enthaltenen paraffi.nisch.en
Anteil untersucht und gekennzeichnet. Ein rein aromatisches öl ist technisch schwierig herzustellen. Unter Anwendung
thermischer oder katalytischer Verfahren kann einearomatische
Fraktion aufgebaut werden, so daß der aromatische Charakter des Produkts klar ersichtlich ist und aus dem Siedebereich
hervorgeht. Die Analyse des paraffinischen Anteils kann nach der bekannten Adsorptionsmethode mit Siliciumdioxydgel erfol-

gen. Vorzugsweise sollte der paraffinische Anteil, bestimmt
nach dieser Analyse, nicht höher als etwa 8 % sein. Bevorzugte
öle können sogarweniger als 6 # enthalten. Der Gießpunkt
(pour point) dieser öle beträgt etwa -290O (-200F),
bestimmt nach der ASTM-Methode D-97» der Flammpunkt (flash
point) liegt im Bereich von etwa 135 bis etwa 207°C (275 bis 4050F) bestimmt nach der ASTM-Methode D-92, und der
Anilin-Mischtrübungspunkt (mixed aniline cloud point) liegt
im Bereich von etwa 24 bis etwa 38°0 (75 - 100°F) bestimmt nach der ASIM-Methode D-611. Bei der Destillation dieser
öle liegt der Anfangssiedepunkt vorzugsweise im Bereich von 274 - 3710O (524 - 7000F) und der Siedeendpunkt liegt im Bereich
von etwa 371 bis etwa 4540O (700 - 8500F). Öle dieser
Art sind in der USA-Patentschrift 3 062 771 näher beschrieben.
Die Reaktionstemperatur kann im Bereich von etwa 45° bis etwa 2000O liegen. Das zu dem Reaktionsgemisch zugegebene
oder während der Reaktion freigesetzte oder gebildete Wasser kann leicht unter verringertem Druck entfernt
werden, wenn die Reaktion vollständig ist. Das verbleibende Gemisch kann zur Entfernung irgendwelcher unlöslichen oder
nicht-umgesetzten Substanzen einfach filtriertwerden.
Die Komplexsalze gemäß der Erfindung können mit
Vorteil in Schmiermittelzusammenstellungen, Schmierfetten, Kraftübertragungsmedien, Wärmeaustauschmedien u.dgl. Anwen-

dung finden. Die Grundmedien können zweckmäßig Mineralöle
und synthetische Schmiermittel einschließen, z.B. synthetische Kohlenwasserstoffmedien, synthetische Esterschmiermittel,
d.h. Diester, Pentaerythritester, Siliconmedien,
Glykoläther, Acetale usw. Konzentrationen von 0,05 % "bis etwa 20 Gew.-% haben sich als brauchbar erwiesen.
Die Erfindung wird nachstehend anhand von Beispielen weiter veranschaulicht, sie ist aber nicht auf diese
besonderen Durchführungsformen beschränkt. Alle Angaben in Teilen oder Prozenten beziehen sich auf das Gewicht.
Beispiel 1
Herstellung von 0,0~Diisohexyldithxophosphorsäure:
Herstellung von 0,0~Diisohexyldithxophosphorsäure:
In ein geeignetes Reaktionsgefäß wurden 2088 g (20,44 Mol) Isohexylalkohol (ein Gemisch von isomeren primären
Alkoholen mit 6 Kohlenstoffatomen) eingebracht und der Inhalt wurde auf 75°C erhitzt. Während der Erhitzung wurden
1155 g (5»11 Mol) Phosphorpentasulfid anteilweise unter Rühren zugegeben. Die Zugabe war in etwa 2 Stunden beendet,
wobei die Temperatur im Bereich von 75 - 800O gehalten wurde.
Das Erhitzen wurde bei 800O unter Rühren über etwa 4-bis
5 Stunden fortgesetzt, bis das Phosphorpentasulfid verbraucht war. Das Eeaktionsgefäß wurde gekühlt und die sich
ergebende grüne bewegliche Flüssigkeit wurde abfiltriertβ
Es wurde eine Ausbeute von 2978 g (über 99 % Ausbeute) roher 0,0-Diisohexyldithiophosphorsäure erhalten.

Die gemäß Beispiel 1 hergestellte 0,0-Diisohexyldithiophosphorsäure
wurde in einer Menge von 2690 g (9»01 Mol) tropfenweise unter Bewegung in ein Reaktionsgefäß
eingebracht, das 550 S (6,76 Mol) Zinkoxyd, 1000 ml destillier
tes Wasser und 500 ml Benzol enthielt, bei einer Temperatur
von 60 - 65°ö. Die Zugabe erstreckte sich über 4 Stunden,
worauf die neutralisation und Komplexbildungsreaktion als vollständig angesehen wurde. Die Gewinnung des Produkts erfolgte
durch Abdestillieren des Wassers und Benzols. Analyse; 8,74 % P, 18,0 % S; 11,6 % Zn.
In diesem Beispiel wurde ein aromatisches öl mit
einem Anfangssiedepunk^-t von etwa 2740O (5240F) und einem
Siedeendpunkt von etwa 399°Q (75O0I1), einem Flammpunkt von
etwa 160 C (3200F) und einem Aromatengehalt von mindestens
etwa 95 % vezsendet.
In ein geeignetes Reaktionsgefäß wurden 22,5 g (0,277 Mol) Ziiümxyd und 38,7 6 cLes aromatischen Öls in Anwesenheit
von 100 ml Wasser und 2 g des Produkts gemäß Beispiel 2 eingebracht. Das Gemisch ward® bei 600C gehalten
und es wurden 102,8 g (0,344 Mol) der Bithiophosphorsäure
gemäß Beispieli unter Rühren zugegeben. Die Zugabegeschwindigkeit
war so, daß fcsis. Schwefelwasserstoff aus dem Reaktionsgemisch
ausgestoßen wurde. Die Zugabe war in einer hai-

ben Stunde vollständig. Das Reaktionsgemisch wurde über eine weitere halbe Stunde bei 600G gerührt.
Zu dem sich ergebenden Reaktionsgemiseh wurden 61 g (0,278 Mol) Zinkacetat-Dihydrat zugegeben und die
Reaktionstemperatur wurde auf 100 bis 1100C erhöht. Es begann
Wasser abzudestillieren. Nachdem 50 ml Wasser in etwa
1 bis 2 Stunden gesammelt worden waren, wurde die Temperatur gesteigert, um die Entfernung von Wasser im Vakuum
(etwa 115 nil insgesamt) in 1 bis 2 Stunden zu ende zu bringen.
Die endgültige Reaktionstemperatur betrug 140 C. Das Reaktionsgemisch wurde gekühlt und durch ein Diatomeenerde-Filterhilfsmittel
filtriert. Es wurden etwa 14-6 g einer dunkel-bernsteinfarbenen Flüssigkeit erhalten.
Analyse: 5,66 % P, 11,4 % S; 14,8 % Zn; Zn:P 2,61.
Es wurde die Arbeitsweise des Beispiels 3 angewendet, mit der Ausnahme, daß die Menge an Zinkacetat-Dihydrat
40,5 g (0,184 Mol) und die Menge an 0,O-Diisohexyldithiophosphorsäure
110 g (0,368 Mol) betrug. In der Destillationsstufe wurden 100 ml Wasser bei einer Temperatur zwischen etwa
100 und 110 C gesammelt und der Rest des Wassers wurde im Vakuum bei 1400O entfernt. Das nach Kühlung und Filtration
erhaltene Reaktionsprodukt war eine klare dunkel-bernsteinfarbene Flüssigkeit, die Menge betrug 154 g.

Unter Anwendung der gleichen Mengen der Reaktionsteilnehmer wie im Beispiel 3 wurde ein im Handel erhältliches
Zinkdiisohexyldithiophosphorsäureprodukt mit Zinkacetat-Dihydrat in Gegenwart von 10 % eines paraffinischen Verfahrensöls
umgesetzt. Das technische Produkt hatte die nachstehei Analyse;
Analyse: 7,75 % P; 16,3 % S; 8,73 % Zn; Zn:P 1,12.
Nach Vollendung der Reaktion mit dem Zinacetat hatte das
sich ergebende Produkt in Komplexform folgende Analyse: Analyse: 7,24 % P; 15,3 % S; 9,66 % Zn; Zn:P 1,54.
Das Ergebnis, wonach das Zink/Phosphor-Verhältnis nicht wesentlich
verbessert ist, zeigt, daß die Anwesenheit des paraffinischen Öls die Komplexbildungsreaktion hemmt oder
stört. Wenn Jedoch das gleiche Handelsprodukt in Anwesenheit des in den Beispielen 3 und 4 verwendeten aromatischen Öls
umgesetzt wurde, ergab sich folgende Analyse des Produkts, auf ölfreier Basis:

SchmiermittelZusammenstellungen, die ein Mineralschmieröl
und die Reaktionsprodukte der Beispiele 3 und 4 enthielten, wurden nach einem katalytischen Oxydationstest
untersucht. Bei diesem Test wird eine 25 cnr Probe des das Additiv enthaltenden Öls in ein 200 χ 25 mm Prüfrohr einge-

bracht, in dem sich Proben von Eisen, Kupfer, Aluminium und Blei befinden. Diese Metalle wirken entweder als Katalysatoren
für die Oxydation oder sie sEllen die Baumaterialien dar, die normalerweise in Maschinen und Übertragungssystemen
angetroffen werden. Es wird trockene Luft in einer Menge von
10 l/h über 40 Stunden durch die Probe geleitet. Die Prüftemperatur
wird bei etwa 163°C (3250*1) gehalten. Bei dem
verwendeten G-rundöl handelt es sich um ein lösungsmittelraffiniertes
Mineralöl.
Es kann davon ausgegangen werden, daß eine Oxydation unter den Prüfbedingungen dazu führt, daß das öl und
andere in dem öl anwesende organische Materialien sauren Charakter annehmen und eine Yerdickung über den wirksamen
Schmierbereich hinaus erfahren. Bei dem Test werden daher die Änderung der Neutralisationszahl (UZ) der Probe, die
prozentuale Zunahme der kinematischen Viskosität, der Gewichtsverlust der Bleiprobe und die Menge an gebildetem
Schlamm gemessen.
Es wurden die nachstehenden Ergebnisse erhalten:

Das Produkt des Beispiels 3 wurde in einem handelsüblichen automatischen Übertragungsmedium geprüft. !Dieses
enthielt etwa 2 % eines basischen Metallsulfonat-Eeinigungsmittels
und etwa 2,12 % des Komplexprodukts von Beispiel 3· Mit dieser Zusammenstellung wurde der gleiche Oxydationstest
durchgeführt, wie er vorstehend beschrieben ist. Es wurden folgende Ergebnisse erhalten:

Bei einem weiteren Oxydationstest wurde einaölprobe
von 25 ml mit Luft in Anwesenheit von lis,oi, Kupfer und
Blei bei einer Temperatur von 149°CJ (3000P) geblasen. Es wur
den Stichproben über 24 Stunden entnommen, um.festzustellen, ob eine Phasentrennung einti.wi*. Sine solche Trennung bedeutet,
daß sich der bei der Oxydation gebildete Schlamm vom
Rest der ölzusammensetzung abscheidet. Das Grundmedium war
ein lösungsmiSt©!raffiniertes Mineralöl. Wenn Abscheidung
eintritt, kann gesagt werden, daß das öl den Punkt des Versagens erreicht hat. Die ölprobe mit einem Gehalt von etwa
2,1 % des Komplexproduktes gemäß Beispiel 3 versagte nach 238 stündiger Oxydation.

Dinonylphenyldithiophosphorsäure, neutralisiert mit I30 % Überschuss an Zinkoxyd, wurde mit Zinkacetat-Dihydrat
umgesetzt, wobei die gleichen Molverhältnisse und die gleiche Arbeitsweise wie die im Beispiel 3 zur Anwendung
kamen. Das aromatische Lösungsmittel war ein 98 %ig aromatisches öl mit einem Flammpunkt von etwa 1600O (3200F)
und einer kinematischen Viskosität bei 99°C (2100F) von
1,76 cSt. Das sich ergebende mit Zinkacetat koordinierte " Zink-di(nonylphenyl)phosphorodithioat (in Komplexbindung
mit einem Überschuss an Zinkoxyd) stellt ein ausgezeichnetes Additiv für Schmieröle und automatische Übertragungsmedien
dar.
Die Arbeitsweise des Beispiels 6 wurde wiederholt, mit der Ausnahme, daß Di-(2,2,4-trimethyl-1-pentyl)phosphorodithioat
verwendet wurde. Der sich ergebende mit Zinkacetat koordinierte Komplex stellt ein ausgezeichnetes Additiv für "
Schmieröle dar.
Didodecyldithiophosphorsäure wurde mit einem 130
%igen Überschuss an Zinkoxyd neutralisiert und mit Zinkbenzoat umgesetzt, wobei die gleichen Molverhältnisse und die gleiche
Arbeitsweise wie im Beispiel 3 zur Anwendung kamen. Es wurde auch das gleiche aromatische öl wie in diesem Beispiel
benutzt. Das sich ergebende mit Zinkbenzoat koordinierte

Zink-di(dodecyl)phosphorodithioat (in Komplexbindung mit
Zinkoxyd) stellt einen ausgezeichneten Inhibitor für Schmieröle dar.
Es ist somit ersichtlich, daß die erfindungsgemäß verwendeten hoch aromatischen öle ausgezeichnete Reaktionsmedien für die Komplexbildung der Metall-di(organo)phosphorodithioate
mit den Metallcarboxylaten darstellen. Sie behindern nicht die Komplexbildungsreaktion, wie das paraffinische
oder naphthenische Mineralöle tun, und sie sind andererseits frei von den Kachteilen und Mängeln, die bei Verwendung von
tiefsiedenden leichter entflammbaren und giftigen aromatischen Lösungsmitteln auftreten, welche darüber hinaus besondere
Behälter grösseren Fassungsvermögens zur Aufnahme und Aufbewahrung erfordern. Weiterhin kann ein höheres Zink/Phosphor-Verhältnis
mit einer daraus folgenden besseren Additivleistung erzielt werden und außerdem bleiben diese Materialien wahrend
der Lagerung und Handhabung stabil und homogen. Das Reaktionsprodukt, das das aromatische öl enthält, kann einfach zu
Schmierölen oder automatischen Übertragungsmedien zugegeben werden, ohne weitere Verarbeitung und ohne Notwendigkeit
einer Entfernung von irgendeinem Lösungsmittel. Die Produkte sind verträglich mit den üblichen Additiven, wie sie bei der
Herstellung von Schmierölgemischen und automatischen Ubertragungsmedien
verwendet werden.

Claims (6)
1. Verfahren zur Herstellung von mit einem Carboxylat eines mehrwertigen Metalls koordinierten Metalldiorganophosphorodithioaten
durch Umsetzung eines Carboxylate eines mehrwertigen Metalls mit einem Diorganophosphorodithioat
eines mehrwertigen Metalls, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man die Umsetzung in Anwesenheit eines aromatischen
Mineralöls durchführt und ein mit einem Metallcarboxylat
koordiniertes Metalldiorganophosphorodithioat mit einem
hohen Metall/Phosphor-Verhältnis erzeugt.
2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man ein aromatisches Mineralöl mit einem Siedepunkt im
Bereich von 249 bis 5380C (480 - 10000F) verwendet.
3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man ein aromatisches Mineralöl mit einem
Aromatengehalt von mindestens 80 %, vorzugsweise mindestens
90 %, verwendet.
4. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1-3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man als aromatisches Mineralöl ein
alkylsubstituiertes mehrkerniges aromatisches Kohlenwasserstofföl verwendet.
5>. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1-4-, dadurch
gekennzeichnet, daß man ein aromatisches Mineralöl mit einem Paraffingehalt von weniger als 8 % verwendet.
