1. Ein 3-(2-Furoyl)-5-alkoxycarbonyl-2,5-dimethyl-4-(2-nitrophenyl)-l,4-dihydropyridin der Formel

3. Die Verbindung 3-(2-Furoyl)-5-äthoxycarbonyl-2,6-di-
methyl-4-(2-nitrophenyl)-l,4-dihydropyridin. 30
4. Arzneimittel, umfassend eine Verbindung nach Anspruch im Gemisch oder in anderer Verbindung mit einem pharmazeutisch verträglichen Verdünnungsmittel oder Träger.
5. Arzneimittel nach Anspruch 4 in Dosierungseinheitsform, enthaltend 1 bis 100 mg einer Verbindung nach Anspruch

6. Ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines 3-(2-Furoyl)-5-alkoxycarbonyl-2,6-dimethyl-4-(2-nitrophenyl)-l,4-dihydropyridins nach Anspruch 1, das Umsetzung von 2-(2-Furoyl)-l-(2-nitrophenyl)-p-oxobut-l-en mit einer Verbindung der Formel

in der R eine Methyl-, Äthyl-, n-Propyl-, Isopropyl- oder Methoxypropylgruppe bedeutet, in einem inerten oder organischen Lösungsmittel bei einer Temperatur im Bereich von 6o bis 1200C und für eine Zeitdauer von 4 bis 48 Stun-

7· Verfahren nach Anspruch 6, wobei die Umsetzung in Äthanol bei dessen Rückflußtemperatur durchgeführt wird.
8. Verfahren nach Anspruch 6, wobei die Umsetzungsdauer etwa l6 Stunden beträgt.
9· Verfahren nach Anspruch 6, wobei die Umsetzung in
Methanol bei dessen Rückflußtemperatur durchgeführt wird. 25
