Abstract
Το CO2 απορροφάται από ένα μείγμα αερίου φέρνοντας το μείγμα αερίου σε επαφή με ένα μέσο απορρόφησης, το οποίο μέσο απορρόφησης περιλαμβάνει νερό και τουλάχιστον μία αμίνη του τύπου (Ι), όπου το R1 και το R2, ανεξάρτητα το ένα από το άλλο, είναι υδρογόνο ή μία ρίζα αλκυλίου. Σύμφωνα με την εφεύρεση, τα μέσα της απορρόφησης περιλαμβάνουν σουλφολάνη ή ένα ιοντικό υγρό, εκτός από το νερό και μία αμίνη του τύπου (Ι). Μία συσκευή, σύμφωνα με την εφεύρεση, με σκοπό την απομάκρυνση του CO2 από το μείγμα αερίου περιλαμβάνει μία μονάδα απορρόφησης, μία μονάδα εκρόφησης, και ένα μέσο απορρόφησης, το οποίο είναι σύμφωνο με την εφεύρεση, και το οποίο διεξάγεται μέσα στο κύκλωμα.
