Abstract

Se describen péptidos artificiales análogos de la SP-C que tienen actividad superficial, y su uso para la preparación de tensioactivos artificiales útiles en el tratamiento del síndrome de dificultad respiratoria (RDS) y otras enfermedades relacionadas a deficiencia o disfunción de tensioactivos. Análogos de SP-C CARACTERIZADOS PORQUE tienen la fórmula general (I), de acuerdo al código de aminoácidos de una letra: Fe GfIPZZPVHLKR(XaB)(XbB)n(XcB)mXdGALLMGL (I)donde: X es un aminoácido seleccionado a partir del grupo formado por V, I, L, Nle (norleucina); B es un aminoácido seleccionado a partir del grupo formado por ornitina, K, I, W, F, Y, Q, N;Z es un aminoácido seleccionado a partir del grupo formado por S, C, F donde los residuos Ser o Cis, en forma opcional, están unidos vía uniones éster o tioéster con grupos acilo que contienen de 12 a 22 átomos de carbono, a es un entero de 1 a 19 b es un entero de 1 a 19 c es un entero de 1 a 21 d es un entero de 0 a 20 e es 0 o 1 f es 0 o 1 n es 0 o 1 m es 0 o 1 con las condiciones siguientes: n m > 0, f = e (XaB)(XbB)n(XcB)mXd es una secuencia que tiene un total de 22 aminoácidos, preferiblemente de 10 a 22 aminoácidos.
