Abstract

一种不易在用于将前叉的伸缩运动传递到缓冲器的推杆作用弯曲力矩的连杆式前悬挂构造,在推杆14的上端部与前叉5之间可自由回转地架设上臂15,该上臂15的长度相等于上述车轴支轴臂8在推杆14的下端部的连接点与在臂支架6的连接点之间的长度并且平行。结果,由前叉5、推杆14、上臂15、及车轴支承臂8的一部分形成平行四边形。

Description

连杆式前悬挂构造
本发明涉及适用于机动二轮车等的连杆式前悬挂构造。
在现有的连杆式前悬挂构造中,前叉不具有缓冲功能,前叉与缓冲器相互独立,前叉的伸缩动作通过连杆机构传递到缓冲器。
图8示出上述现有连杆式前悬挂构造。即,在头管100可回转地安装转向柱101,在该转向柱101上端设置顶桥102,在下端设置底桥103,由这些顶桥102和底桥103支承前叉104,在该前叉104的下端连接车轴支承臂105的一端,将该车轴支承臂105的另一端连接到前轮的轴106。
另外,在通过前叉104配置于顶桥102下端的缓冲上托架113安装缓冲器107的上端,在一端枢支于底桥103的缓冲臂108安装该缓冲器107的下端,由推杆109连接该缓冲臂108与上述车轴支承臂105之间,通过这些车轴支承臂105。推杆109及缓冲臂108构成的连杆机构,将前叉104的伸缩动作传递到缓冲器107。
在上述现有连杆式前悬挂构造中,由于前叉的伸缩方向与推杆的配置方向差异较大,所以,在推杆上作用弯曲力矩。为此,要求推杆具有考虑了该弯曲力矩的刚性,必然需要使推杆变粗,全体重量增大。
为了解决上述问题,本发明的连杆式前悬挂构造在头管可回转地安装转向柱,在该转向柱上端设置顶桥,在下端设置底桥,由这些顶桥和底桥支承前叉,由设于该前叉的连杆机构支承缓冲器的下端;其中,上述连杆机构为四边形连杆机构,由一端连接于前叉中间部的上连杆、一端连接于前叉下端并且另一端连接于前轮的车轴侧的车轴支承臂、及上端与上述上连杆的另一端连接而下端与上述车轴支承臂连接的推杆构成。
通过这样构成,可降低作用于推杆的弯曲力矩。
另外,最好上述车轴支承臂的比在推杆的枢支点更靠近前叉管侧的部分与上述上连杆平行。这样,可完全消除作用于推杆弯曲力矩。

下面根据附图说明本发明的实施形式。图1为示出本发明的连杆式前悬挂构造的侧面图,图2为连杆式前悬挂构造的透视图。
在头管1内可回转地插入转向柱2,在该转向柱2上端设置顶桥3,在下端设置底桥4,由这些顶桥3和底桥4支承前叉5的上部,在臂支架6内插入该前叉5的下端。
另外,在前轮的车轴7可自由摆动地安装车轴支承臂(枢轴臂)8的一端。该车轴支承臂8的形状在侧视下大体呈ㄑ字形,在上述上述臂支架6的下端可回转地支承该车轴支承臂8的另一端。
另外,在上述顶桥3通过安装撑条9可自由回转地安装缓冲器10的上端,重叠在上述底桥4上地将缓冲臂安装撑条11固定在前叉5,在该缓冲臂安装撑条11可自由摆动地支承缓冲臂12的一端,在该缓冲臂12的中间部可自由回转地安装上述缓冲器10的下端。
在上述缓冲臂12的另一端部可自由回转地连接杆状的连接构件13的上端部,在该连接构件13的下端部可自由回转地连接推杆14的上端部,推杆14的下端部可自由回转地连接于上述车轴支承臂8的中间部。
另外,在上述推杆14的上端部与前叉5之间可自由回转地架设上臂15,该上臂15的长度与上述车轴支承臂8在推杆14下端部的连接点和在臂支架6的连接点之间的长度相等并且平行。结果,由前叉5、推杆14。上臂15及车轴支承臂8的一部分形成平行四边形连杆。
在前轮的车轴7安装制动钳16的安装撑条17的一端,在该安装撑条17的另一端与前叉5之间架设转矩连杆18,另外,在安装撑条17安装挡泥板19。
在以上说明中,对于车轮相应于路面的凹凸上下移动的场合,即当车轴支承臂8以与臂支架6的连接点为中心上下摇动时,推杆14构成平行四边形连杆的一部分,所以,平行于前叉5地上下移动,不在推杆14作用弯曲力矩。
在本发明中,也可不形成完全的平行四边形连杆,而是形成与其接近的四边形连杆。即使这样,也可充分地降低弯曲力矩。
图3和图4为示出另一实施例的连杆式前悬挂构造的侧面图,在图3所示实施例中,在侧视下呈三角形的缓冲臂12的前端(图的左侧)连接缓冲器10的下端,将连接构件13的上端连接在缓冲臂12的中间部,在底桥4连接缓冲臂12的后端。
在图4所示实施例中,将缓冲器10的下端连接于在侧视下呈三角形的缓冲臂12的前端(图的左端),在缓冲臂12的下端部连接推杆14的上端,在底桥4连接冲臂12的后端,省略连接构件。
下面根据图5和图6详细说明上述图3所示实施例。其中,图5为图3所示实施例的从A-A方向观看到的放大断面图,图6为图5的B-B方向断面图,与上述实施例相同的构件采用相同的符号,省略其说明。
即,在底桥4设置托架20,在该托架20通过螺栓21和轴承22可回转地连接缓冲臂12的后端,在缓冲臂12的前端部通过轴承23连接缓冲器10的下端,将连接构件13通过轴承24可自由回转地连接在缓冲臂12的中间部。
在连接构件13的两端下部插通螺栓25,在该螺栓25通过轴承26可自由回转地连接上述推杆14的上端部,另外,在共用的螺栓25通过轴承27可自由回转地连接上臂15的一端,另一方面,在上述前叉5的侧面固定螺栓28,在该螺栓28通过轴承29可自由回转地连接上述上臂15的另一端。
图7为示出另一实施例的与图6同样的图,在该实施例中,将连接构件13分成左右半体13a、13b。由这样的构成,可使空气流动顺利,提高冷却效果。
按照以上说明的本发明,用于与前叉的伸缩移动连动地将运动传递到缓冲器的推杆大体与前叉平行,所以,作用于推杆的弯曲力矩变小或变无,推杆所要求的刚性可小一些。结果,可缩小推杆,实现轻量化。

Claims (2)

1、一种连杆式前悬挂构造,在头管可回转地安装转向柱,在该转向柱上端设置顶桥,在下端设置底桥,由这些顶桥和底桥支承前叉,由设于该前叉的连杆机构支承缓冲器的下端;其特征在于:上述连杆机构为四边形连杆机构,由一端连接于前叉中间部的上连杆、一端连接于前叉下端并且另一端连接于前轮的车轴侧的车轴支承臂、及上端与上述上连杆的另一端连接而下端与上述车轴支承臂连接的推杆构成。
2、如权利要求1所述连杆式前悬挂构造,其特征在于:连接上述车轴支承臂在推杆的枢支点和前叉枢支点的直线与上述上连杆平行。
