Description

高模量传动带组合物和其制造的传动带
本发明涉及高模量弹性体组合物,该组合物特别适合在高负荷同步传动带中使用。
在传动带中使用氢化的丙烯腈-丁二烯橡胶(HNBR),特别是在汽车中使用,在过去已经提出。参见,例如Trevor A.Brown的文章:“Compounding forMaximum Heat Resistance and Load Bearing Capacity in HNBR Belt”,RubberWorld magazine,October 1993,page 53,和“Using HNBR to Improve BeltCompounds”.Rubber & Plastics News,June 7,1993,page 45。也参见美国专利US5405690。但是,没有提出组成应该是怎样的。
根据本发明的实践,提供一种弹性体组合物,包括:
a)每100重量份橡胶50~95份(phr)用甲基丙烯酸锌或者氧化锌与甲基丙烯酸相混合改性的HNBR;
b)5~50phr未改性的HNBR;
c)0.5~10phr过氧化物固化活性剂:
d)0.25~20phr有机过氧化物;和
e)1~20phr酚醛树脂。
用氧化锌与甲基丙烯酸改性的HNBR的例子是市场出售的Nippon ZeonCo.制造的Zetpol ZSC 2295。未改性的HNBR是市场出售的Nippon Zeon Co.制糙的Zetpol 2020。
典型的过氧化物固化活性剂是三甲基丙烯酸三羟甲基丙烷酯、三官能的有机硅氧烷、氰尿三烯丙基酯和异氰尿三烯丙基酯。可以使用0.5~10phr的这种活性剂,优选3~6phr。
本发明可以使用的典型的有机过氧化物是1,3-双(t-丁基过氧化-1-丙基)苯、过氧化物二枯基和α,α-双(t-丁基过氧)戊酸酯。可以使用0.25~20phr的这种活性剂,优选1.5~4.5phr。
可以使用的典型的酚醛树脂是酚甲醛树脂(phenol formaldehyde resin)。优选的是一种油改性的热固性酚甲醛树脂。可以使用1~20phr的这种酚醛树脂,优选6~12phr。据信,酚醛树脂为固化的传动带中的增强作用提供了高强度粘合力,并且能够使传动带不使用溶剂在传统的弹性体加工设备上制造。
除了上面列出的那些成分,这种组合物可以含有在橡胶配料里常用的其它材料,例如填料、抗氧化剂、抗臭氧剂、加工助剂,等。特别优选5~50phr的一种N330碳黑。
已经发现本发明的组合物提供了具有足够刚度的不用纤维增强的齿形同步传动带。作为这种性质的测量,优选在10%延伸率的模量是5.2~7.25Mpa。
为了具体说明本发明的目的已经出示了一些有代表性的实施例和详细说明,对于这个领域的技术人员来说很明显,可以不脱离本发明的精神和范围对其做出各种变化和改进。

Claims (7)

1、一种弹性体组合物,其特征在于:
a)50~95重量份的用甲基丙烯酸锌或者氧化锌与甲基丙烯酸相混合改性的HNBR;
b)5~50重量份未改性的HNBR;
c)0.5~10重量份过氧化物固化活性剂:
d)0.25~20重量份有机过氧化物;和
e)~20phr份酚醛树脂。
2、根据权利要求1的组合物,它还含有5~50重量份的碳黑。
3、根据权利要求1的组合物,其中过氧化物固化活性剂是三甲基丙烯酸三羟甲基丙烷酯。
4、根据权利要求1的组合物,其中过氧化物是α,α-双(t-丁基过氧)戊酸酯。
5、根据权利要求2的组合物,它在10%延伸率的模量是5.2~7.25Mpa。
6、一种动力传动带,由具有以下特征的弹性体组合物制造:
a)50~95重量份的用甲基丙烯酸锌或者氧化锌与甲基丙烯酸相混合改性的HNBR;
b)5~50重量份未改性的HNBR;
c)0.5~10重量份过氧化物固化活性剂:
d)0.25~20重量份有机过氧化物;和
e)1~20phr份酚醛树脂。
7、根据权利要求6的传动带,它还含有5~50phr的碳黑。
