Abstract
ュラス組成物、ならびにそれから得られるベルトの提
供。 【解決手段】 メタクリル酸亜鉛により、または酸化亜
鉛とメタクリル酸との組み合わせにより変性された水素
化アクリルニトリルブタジエンゴムと、非変性水素化ア
クリルニトリルブタジエンゴムとの組み合わせに基づ
く。
Description
ルトに用いるのに特に適した高モジュラス弾性体組成物
に関する。
自動車に用いるためのベルトに水素化アクリロニトリル
−ブタジエンゴム(以下HNBRと省略する)を使用するこ
とが、過去において提案されている。例えば、Trevor
A. Brownの「Compounding for Maximum Heat Resistanc
e and LoadBearing Capacity in HNBR Belts」、Rubber
Worldマガジン、1993年10月版、53頁、および「Using
HNBR to Improve Belt Compounds」、Rubber & Plasti
cs News、1993年6月7日版、45頁の論文を参照された
い。また、米国特許第5,405,690号も参照されたい。し
かしながら、どのような組成物であるべきかは提案され
ておらず、これらの組成物は同期駆動ベルト用として要
求される歯強度を付与するための十分な弾性を持たな
い。
メタクリル酸亜鉛により、または酸化亜鉛とメタクリル
酸との組み合わせにより変性されたHNBR50〜95重量
部、(b)非変性HNBRの5〜50重量部、(c)過酸
化物硬化共試薬の0.5〜10phr、(d)有機過酸化物の0.
25〜20phr、および(e)フェノール樹脂の1〜20phrを
含んでなる弾性組成物が提供される。

張時のモジュラスは5.2〜7.25MPaである。

95として市販されている。非変性HNBRが、やはり日本ゼ
オンからZetpol 2020として入手される。
ロールプロパントリメタクリレート、3官能オルガノシ
ロキサン、シアヌル酸トリアリルおよびイソシアヌル酸
トリアリルである。共試薬は0.5〜10phr用いることがで
きるが、3〜6 phrが好ましい。
の典型例は、1,3−ビス(t−ブチルペルオキシ−1
−プロピル)ベンゼン、過酸化ジクミルおよび吉草酸
α,α−ビス(t−ブチルペルオキシ)である。過酸化
物は0.25〜20phr用いることができるが、1.5〜4.5 phr
が好ましい。
型例は、フェノールホルムアルデヒド樹脂である。油変
性熱硬化フェノールホルムアルデヒド樹脂が好ましい。
フェノール樹脂は1〜20phr用いることができるが、6
〜12 phrが好ましい。フェノール樹脂は、硬化ベルトの
補強剤に高水準の接着性を提供し、溶媒を用いることな
く従来の弾性体加工装置においてベルトを製造させるこ
とができると考えられる。
填剤、酸化防止剤、抗オゾン剤および加工助剤などのゴ
ム配合において通常用いられる他の材料を含むことがで
きる。カーボンブラックN330の5〜50 phrが特に好まし
い。
となく十分な剛性の歯を有する同期駆動ベルトを提供す
ることがわかった。この特性の基準として、10%伸張時
モジュラスが5.2〜7.25 Mpaであることが好ましい。
態様および詳細を示したが、本発明の精神および範囲か
ら離れることなく種々の変化および修正を加え得ること
が当業者には明らかである。
歯駆動用ベルトとして十分な歯強度と弾性率を有する成
形用組成物が得られる。
Claims (7)
- 【請求項1】 (a)メタクリル酸亜鉛により、または
酸化亜鉛とメタクリル酸との組み合わせにより変性され
た水素化アクリロニトリル−ブタジエンゴムの50〜95重
量部、 (b)非変性水素化アクリロニトリル−ブタジエンゴム
の5〜50重量部、 (c)過酸化物硬化共試薬の0.5〜10phr、 (d)有機過酸化物の0.25〜20phr、および (e)フェノール樹脂の1〜20phrを含んでなる弾性組
成物。 - 【請求項2】 さらに、カーボンブラック5〜50重量部
を含む請求項1に記載の組成物。 - 【請求項3】 前記過酸化物硬化共試薬がトリメチロー
ルプロパントリメタクリレートである請求項1に記載の
組成物。 - 【請求項4】 前記過酸化物が吉草酸α,α−ビス(t
−ブチルペルオキシ)である請求項1に記載の組成物。 - 【請求項5】 10%伸張時モジュラスが5.2〜7.25MPa
である請求項2に記載の組成物。 - 【請求項6】 (a)メタクリル酸亜鉛により、または
酸化亜鉛とメタクリル酸との組み合わせにより変性され
た水素化アクリロニトリル−ブタジエンゴムの50〜95重
量部、 (b)非変性水素化アクリロニトリル−ブタジエンゴム
の5〜50重量部、 (c)過酸化物硬化共試薬の0.5〜10phr、 (d)有機過酸化物の0.25〜20phr、および (e)フェノール樹脂の1〜20phrを含んでなる弾性組
成物から製造される伝動ベルト。 - 【請求項7】 さらに、カーボンブラック5〜50phrを
含む請求項6に記載の伝動ベルト。
