Abstract

背景技术
不损害环境的包装是期望的。制备不损害环境的产品的一种方法是通过使它们可生物降解。然而,消费者使用的许多产品可被允许包装可生物降解的相同事物损坏。例如,可生物降解的包装通常将不由塑料制成。尽管塑料可再循环,但其不会以其它材料的速率生物降解。其它材料诸如纸材是可生物降解的。然而,当暴露于流体诸如水时,它们更易受影响。
另外,置于可生物降解包装中的产品因处于可生物降解包装中而处于暴露于诸如水之类的要素的风险下。这对于能够溶解于水中的产品尤其如此。因此,仍然需要创建一种可生物降解的包装,该包装可容纳可溶于水的产品并且能够保护那些产品免于暴露于外部条件。
发明内容
一种用于单个单位剂量洗涤剂的包装,该包装包括外壳和内部结构,其中外壳和内部结构由可生物降解的材料构成,其中内部结构包括一个或多个能够容纳一个或多个单个单位剂量洗涤剂制品的分隔部分,并且其中所述一个或多个分隔部分中的至少一个分隔部分包括从面向外壳的内表面的表面延伸的隆起部。

具体实施方式
如本文所用,短语“水溶性单位剂量制品”、“水溶性纤维结构”和“水溶性纤维元件”是指单位剂量制品、纤维结构和纤维元件可与水混溶。换句话说,单位剂量制品、纤维结构或纤维元件能够在环境条件下与水形成均质溶液。本文使用的“环境条件”是指23℃±1.0℃并且相对湿度为50%±2%。水溶性单位剂量制品可含有不溶性材料,其在水性洗涤条件下可分散成悬浮液,平均粒度小于约20微米,或小于约50微米。
纤维状水溶性单位剂量制品可包括存在于2018年1月26日提交的美国专利申请15/880,594;2018年1月26日提交的美国专利申请15/880,599;以及2018年1月26日提交的美国专利申请15/880,604;这些专利申请全文以引用方式并入。
本文提供了用于单个单位剂量洗涤剂产品的可生物降解的包装。该包装包括可生物降解的内部结构或内结构。应当理解,本发明不限于所述的具体部件、制品、方法和/或条件,因为这些当然可以变化。还应当理解,本文所用的术语仅用于描述特定实施方案的目的,并非旨在进行限制。
包装具有外壳。外壳可具有能够接合并形成封闭体积形状的顶部部分和底部部分。顶部部分可包括封盖。外壳可由折叠成体积形状的单片材料制成。体积形状可以是任何已知的体积形状。包装为由外壳形成的封闭表面包封的三维空间。单件式外壳可具有铰接封盖。外壳可具有密封部分以将封盖密封在外壳上。例如,封盖可具有附接到外壳的侧壁的密封部分。密封部分可通过已知的附接方式附接到外壳。例如,密封部分可通过粘合剂或使用钉或平头钉附接到外壳。密封部分可包括快速脱开突片。快速脱开突片可为拉舌,该拉舌将封盖与侧壁分离以允许打开外壳。在一些实施方案中,外壳包括儿童安全开口。儿童安全开口的类型不受特别限制。例如,儿童安全开口可能需要显著的初始力来开始打开外壳,使得儿童将发现难以打开外壳。通常,外壳能够承受从1.0米至1.5米范围内的高度的下降而不损坏外壳中的大部分单位剂量洗涤剂。在一些实施方案中,在从1.0米至1.5米范围内的高度下降之后的破损率被限制为外壳中30%或更小、25%或更小、20%或更小、15%或更小、10%或更小、5%或更小的单个单位剂量洗涤剂或者没有。此类破损率可通过以下方式测量:将包装从1.0米的高度下降至1.5米,记录外壳中破碎的单个单位剂量的数量,用新的外壳(具有未破碎的胶囊)再重复测试两次,并且对三次测试的破损率取平均值。
内部结构包括能够保持产品的一个或多个分隔部分。该一个或多个分隔部分包括一个或多个隆起部,该隆起部从分隔部分的表面延伸以接触外壳的表面。内部结构可由与外壳相同的可生物降解的材料或不同的可生物降解的材料构成。内部结构可与外壳成一整体并且形成为外壳的一部分或连接到外壳,或者内部结构可不同于外壳。
外壳和/或内部结构可包含植物材料,诸如例如木质材料、草本植物材料或产品回收材料(纤维材料)等。木材材料的示例包括但不限于木材废料、木材加工废料、变薄的木材、森林剩余材料,包括长枝(树木、果树)、施用部位、芯、树皮、叶、根、果实或存在发育中生长的此类新生分枝。草本植物原料包括但不限于例如竹子、蔗渣、稻壳、稻秆、小麦秸秆、草、竹子草、蒲苇、芦苇、茎如葛、叶、根、种子和周围组织,以及在竹子苗发育中的生长。竹和衍生自竹的纸浆是优选的。应当理解,这些是植物原料的示例,并且它们并非旨在进行限制。材料可包括任何材料,前提条件是原材料包括植物纤维诸如纤维素纤维。

图1示出了具有外壳15和内部结构20的包装10。外壳具有封盖16和能够保持托盘的底部部分18。封盖16可通过任何已知的方式附接到底部部分18,或者可与底部成一整体,从而形成外壳15的整体部分。外壳具有外表面12和内表面14。内部结构20包括能够保持产品的一个或多个分隔部分22或存储部分22。一个或多个分隔部分22包括一个或多个隆起部25,该隆起部从分隔部分的表面24延伸以接触外壳15的表面。
图1A示出了移除了外壳15的包装10。如图1A所示,内部结构20具有一个或多个分隔部分22(如图所示的三个),该分隔部分具有从表面24延伸的一个或多个隆起部25。如图1A所示,隆起部可为中空的或非中空的(未示出)。

内部结构包括基本上平面的顶部部分和彼此间隔开的多个分隔部分或盘,所述分隔部分或盘形成从顶部部分的下侧悬垂的腔体或模具。每个盘包括内表面和外表面,所述内表面和外表面限定用于接收单个单位剂量产品的腔体。每个盘的侧壁可相对于顶部部分以锐角设置,并且其底壁基本上平行于顶部部分。每个盘的侧壁和底壁可包括从其延伸的一个或多个隆起部。隆起部可通过每个分隔部分或盘的侧壁和底壁随机地或均匀地设置。隆起部从内部结构的一个或多个表面延伸,并且可延伸至包装的外壳或不接触包装的外壳。隆起部可为中空或实心的。虽然未示出,但预期多于一个隆起部可从面向外壳的内部结构的任何一个表面延伸。
如前所述,外壳和内部结构是可生物降解的。外壳和内部结构可包括但不限于100%可再循环瓦楞纤维板和报纸、原始纸浆纤维、2型模塑纤维、2A型热成形纤维、3型热成形纤维、4型热成形纤维、模塑纤维、X射线成形纤维、红外成形纤维、微波成形纤维、真空成形纤维、结构纤维、片料、再循环塑料或任何其它可生物降解的结构材料。在一个实施方案中,外壳可涂覆有蜡或不允许水渗透的其他涂层,前提条件是涂层是可生物降解的。“可生物降解的”是指外壳和内部结构将能够自然分解。换句话讲,外壳和内部结构可由这样的物质制成,该物质将由于细菌的作用而相对快速地衰减并且分解成诸如天然回收的碳的元素。所得的包装能够被分解并且自然地吸收到生态系统中。可生物降解的材料可降解成对环境无害的简单稳定的化合物。与可能从不生物降解的传统包装不同,所得包装将自然地随时间推移而分解。包括外壳和内部结构的包装可以是可回收利用的、可再生的、由可再生材料制成的、由可再生材料制成的、或它们的组合。
外壳和/或内部结构可包含植物材料,诸如例如木质材料、草本植物材料或产品回收材料(纤维材料)等。木材材料的示例包括但不限于木材废料、木材加工废料、变薄的木材、森林剩余材料,包括长枝(树木、果树)、施用部位、芯、树皮、叶、根、果实或存在发育中生长的此类新生分枝。草本植物原料包括但不限于例如竹子、蔗渣、稻壳、稻秆、小麦秸秆、草、竹子草、蒲苇、芦苇、茎如葛、叶、根、种子和周围组织,以及在竹子苗发育中的生长。竹和衍生自竹的纸浆是优选的。应当理解,这些是植物原料的示例,并且它们并非旨在进行限制。材料可包括任何材料,前提条件是原材料包括植物纤维诸如纤维素纤维。
如上图所示,上述包装保护单个单位剂量洗涤剂,同时仍是可生物降解的。不受理论的约束,已发现上述包装通过具有从内部结构延伸的一个或多个隆起部来保护单个单位剂量产品。隆起部在外壳和容纳单个单位剂量产品的内部结构的储存部分之间产生间隙。间隙可包括气体或其他材料,诸如例如干燥剂。如果包装通过在外壳和存储部分之间产生间隙而暴露于流体,则隆起部的使用保护存储部分中的单个单位剂量。隆起部可由内部结构的表面部分的介于5%至70%之间形成。隆起部从存储部分的平面线延伸,该平面线与容纳在存储部分或分隔部分中的单个单位剂量接触。
另外,通过使用可生物降解的外壳和内部结构。包装允许蒸气透过包装,从而允许包装具有透气性。
单个单位剂量
单个单位剂量洗涤剂可为包含水溶性纤维结构和一个或多个颗粒的水溶性单位剂量制品。本文公开的水溶性单位剂量制品包含水溶性纤维结构和一种或多种颗粒。水溶性纤维结构可包括多个纤维元件,例如多个长丝。一种或多种颗粒,例如一种或多种含活性剂的颗粒,可分布在整个结构中。水溶性单位剂量制品可包含多个两种或更多种和/或三种或更多种纤维元件,所述纤维元件相互缠结或以其他方式彼此缔合以形成纤维结构和一个或多个颗粒,所述颗粒可分布在整个纤维结构。
纤维状水溶性单位剂量制品可表现出如通过本文所述的厚度测试方法测量的大于0.01mm和/或大于0.05mm和/或大于0.1mm和/或至约100mm和/或至约50mm和/或至约20mm和/或至约10mm和/或至约5mm和/或至约2mm和/或至约0.5mm和/或至约0.3mm的厚度。
纤维状水溶性单位剂量制品可具有如根据本文所述的基重测试方法测量的约500克/m2至约5,000克/m2,或约1,000克/m2至约4,000克/m2,或约1,500克/m2至约3,500克/m2,或约2,000克/m2至约3,000克/m2的基重。
纤维状水溶性单位剂量制品可包含水溶性纤维结构和分布在整个结构中的多个颗粒,其中水溶性纤维结构从组成的角度包括多个相同或基本相同的纤维元件。水溶性纤维结构可包含两种或更多种不同的纤维元件。纤维元件的差异的非限制性示例可为物理差异,诸如直径、长度、质地、形状、刚性、弹性等的差异;化学差异如交联水平、溶解度、熔点、Tg、活性剂、长丝形成材料、颜色、活性剂含量、基重、长丝形成材料含量、纤维元件上是否存在任何涂层、是否能够生物降解、是否疏水、接触角等等;当纤维元件暴露于预期用途条件时是否丧失其物理结构的差异;当纤维元件暴露于预期用途条件时纤维元件是否改变形态的差异;以及当纤维元件暴露于预期用途条件时释放它的活性剂中的一种或多种的速率的差异。纤维结构中的两种或更多种纤维元件可包含不同的活性剂。这可能是不同活性剂可能彼此不相容的情况,例如阴离子表面活性剂和阳离子聚合物。当使用不同的纤维元件时,所得结构可表现出不同的润湿、吸收和溶解特性。
纤维状水溶性单位剂量制品可表现出不同的区域,例如基重、密度、厚度和/或润湿特性的不同区域。纤维状水溶性单位剂量制品可在边缘密封处压缩。纤维状水溶性单位剂量制品可在其一个或多个表面上包含纹理。纤维状水溶性单位剂量制品的表面可包括图案,例如非随机的重复图案。
纤维状水溶性单位剂量制品可包括孔。纤维状水溶性单位剂量制品可包括纤维结构,该纤维结构具有离散的纤维元件区域,该区域不同于该结构中的纤维元件的其他区域。纤维状水溶性单位剂量制品可原样使用,或者可用一种或多种活性剂涂覆。

纤维状水溶性单位剂量制品可从消费者与水溶性制品相互作用的形式开始分级地观察,并且向后工作到制造水溶性制品的原料,例如层片、纤维结构和颗粒。纤维层片可以是纤维结构。
本文所述的水溶性单位剂量制品可包含水溶性纤维结构和一个或多个流变改性颗粒,该一个或多个流变改性颗粒包含:(a)约10重量%至约80重量%的烷基烷氧基化硫酸盐;以及(b)约0.5重量%至约20重量%的流变改性剂。本文所述的颗粒可包含一种或多种另外的活性剂(除了如上所述的表面活性剂之外)。

长丝形成组合物可包含两种或更多种不同的长丝形成材料。因此,纤维元件可以是单组分(一种长丝形成材料)和/或多组分,诸如双组分。两种或更多种不同的长丝形成材料以随机组合以形成纤维元件。就本公开的目的而言,可有序混合两种或更多种不同长丝形成材料以形成纤维元件诸如核壳双组分纤维元件,其被认为不是不同长丝形成材料的随机混合物。双组分纤维元件可以是任何形式,诸如并列型、核壳型、海岛型等。
纤维元件可基本上不含烷基烷氧基化硫酸盐。每个纤维元件可包含按基于干燥纤维元件的重量计约0%、或约0.1%、或约5%、或约10%、或约15%、或约20%、或约25%、或约30%、或约35%、或约40%至约0.2%、或至约1%、或至约5%、或至约10%、或至约15%、或至约20%、或至约25%、或至约30%、或至约35%、或至约40%、或至约50%的烷基烷氧基化硫酸盐。纤维元件中的每一个中烷基烷氧基化硫酸盐的量足够小,以便不影响其加工稳定性和膜溶解。烷基烷氧基化的硫酸盐,当溶解在水中时,可在一定浓度范围(例如30重量%至60重量%)下经历高度粘稠的六方相,产生凝胶状物质。因此,如果以显着量掺入纤维元件中,烷基烷氧基化硫酸盐可显着减慢水溶性单位剂量制品在水中的溶解,更糟糕的是,之后导致不溶解的固体。相应地,大多数此类表面活性剂配制成颗粒。

优选地,每种纤维元件的特征可在于足够高的总表面活性剂含量,例如按基于干燥纤维元件和/或干燥纤维结构的重量计至少约30%、或至少约40%、或至少约50%、或至少约60%、或至少约70%的第一表面活性剂。

优选地,醇乙氧基化物非离子表面活性剂在醇碳链中平均包含介于8和18之间、更优选介于10和16之间、甚至更优选介于12和15之间的碳原子,并且在乙氧基化链中平均包含介于5和12之间、优选介于6和10之间、更优选介于7和8之间的乙氧基单元。
优选地,非皂表面活性剂包含直链烷基苯磺酸盐,并且其中衣物洗涤剂组合物包含按衣物洗涤剂组合物的重量计介于5%和20%之间,优选介于10%和17%之间的直链烷基苯磺酸盐。

水溶性膜
本发明的膜是可溶于或可分散于水中的。水溶性膜优选地具有20至150微米,优选地35至125微米,甚至更优选地50至110微米,最优选地约76微米的厚度。
优选地,如通过在本文中提出的方法测量的,使用具有20微米最大孔尺寸的玻璃过滤器之后,所述膜具有至少50%,优选地至少75%,或甚至至少95%的水溶解度:将5克[Symbol]0.1克的膜材料加入预称重的3L烧杯中并加入2L±5ml的蒸馏水。将其在磁力搅拌器Labline(型号1250)或等同物以及5cm磁力搅拌器上(设定为600rpm)于30℃剧烈搅拌30分钟。然后,将该混合物经由具有上述指定孔尺寸(最大20微米)的折叠式定性多孔玻璃过滤器过滤。通过任何常规方法将收集的滤液中的水分干燥,并测定剩余材料的重量(溶解或分散的那部分)。然后,可计算出溶解度或分散度的百分比。
优选的膜材料优选地为聚合物材料。如本领域所已知的,膜材料可通过例如将聚合物材料浇注、吹塑、挤出或吹塑挤出而获得。
适合用作小袋材料的优选的聚合物、共聚物或其衍生物选自聚乙烯醇、聚乙烯吡咯烷酮、聚亚烷基氧、丙烯酰胺、丙烯酸、纤维素、纤维素醚、纤维素酯、纤维素酰胺、聚乙酸乙烯酯、聚羧酸和聚羧酸盐、聚氨基酸或肽、聚酰胺、聚丙烯酰胺、马来酸/丙烯酸共聚物、多糖(包括淀粉和明胶)、天然树胶(诸如黄原胶和角叉菜胶)。更优选的聚合物选自聚丙烯酸酯和水溶性丙烯酸酯共聚物、甲基纤维素、羧甲基纤维素钠、糊精、乙基纤维素、羟乙基纤维素、羟丙基甲基纤维素、麦芽糖糊精、聚甲基丙烯酸酯,并且最优选地选自聚乙烯醇、聚乙烯醇共聚物和羟丙基甲基纤维素(HPMC)、以及它们的组合。优选地,小袋材料中的聚合物(例如PVA聚合物)的水平为至少60%。聚合物可具有任何重均分子量,优选地约1000至1,000,000,更优选地约10,000至300,000,还更优选地约20,000至150,000。
聚合物和/或共聚物的混合物也可用作小袋材料,尤其是聚乙烯醇聚合物和/或共聚物的混合物,尤其是聚乙烯醇均聚物和/或阴离子聚乙烯醇共聚物的混合物,优选选自磺化和羧化的阴离子聚乙烯醇共聚物,尤其是羧化的阴离子聚乙烯醇共聚物。最优选地,水溶性膜包含聚乙烯醇均聚物和羧化阴离子聚乙烯醇共聚物的共混物。
优选的膜表现出在冷水(其意指未加热的蒸馏水)中的良好溶解性。优选地,此类膜在24℃,甚至更优选地在10℃的温度下表现出良好地溶解性。所谓的良好溶解性,是指如上所述,在使用具有20微米最大孔尺寸的玻璃过滤器之后,由本文描述的方法测量的,该膜表现出至少50%,优选地至少75%,或甚至至少95%的水溶解度。
