TEWL (Trans Epidermal Water Loss, also called transdermal Water Loss in Chinese) is a common index for reflecting the barrier function of the stratum corneum, can reflect the stratum corneum repair condition of a subject, such as acne removal condition, and can comprehensively evaluate the moisturizing effect of the moisturizing cosmetic, and the higher the TEWL value is, the more the Water is lost through the skin, the poorer the barrier function of the stratum corneum is.
As is apparent from table 2 above, the TEWL values of the groups using the products of examples 1-5 decreased significantly after one and two weeks, particularly, in example 1, the TEWL values decreased by 2.4 after one week and 4.6 after two weeks, the skin barrier was significantly repaired, the acne treatment effect was significant, the moisturizing effect was superior, and the health of the skin was significantly improved. While the TEWL values of the groups using the products of comparative examples 1-4 are also reduced after one week and two weeks, but the reduction degree is very low, which indicates that the products of comparative examples 1-4, especially the products of comparative examples 3 and 4 are far from the skin barrier repair capability of the products of examples 1-5, so the effects are very different, and further indicates that only the okra extract, the schizonepeta spike extract and the gardenia extract are matched with baicalein to play the roles of obviously improving the anti-inflammation acne treatment, repairing the skin barrier and improving the skin health degree of the products, and the effects are greatly different due to the lack of any one component.
2. Melanin skin test instrument with model number MPA and skin oil test instrument with model number SM815-MP manufactured by Courage + Khazaka, germany, were used to perform MI value of skin melanin content and skin oil secretion test on each group of subjects before, one week after, and two weeks after the start of the experiment, and the data were recorded and averaged, and the results are shown in tables 3 and 4.

Comparative example 3 231.8 227.7 224.2
Comparative example 4 240.6 236.8 233.7
As is apparent from Table 3 above, although examples 1 to 5 and comparative examples 1 to 4 each had an effect of reducing oil secretion, the effect of reducing oil secretion was more remarkable and prominent in the group using the products of examples 1 to 5 than in the group using the products of comparative examples 1 to 4, and particularly in the group using the products of comparative examples 1 and 2, the degree of reduction of oil secretion was far less than that in the group using the product of example 1, and thus, an excellent skin water-oil balancing effect was exhibited under the combined action of xanthan gum, Chondrus crispus powder, Euglena minuta polysaccharide and menthone glycerol ketal.
The MI value of the skin melanin content represents a melanin index, the principle of the MI value is that the light with specific wavelengths (568nm, 660nm and 880nm) irradiates the reflection quantity of the skin of a human body, so that the melanin content in the skin is determined, the MI value ranges from 0 to 999, and the larger the value is, the higher the melanin content in the skin is. As is apparent from table 4 above, although examples 1 to 5 and comparative examples 1 to 4 both have the effect of reducing the melanin content in the skin, the reduction of the MI value is more significant in the group using the products of examples 1 to 5 than in the group using the products of comparative examples 1 to 4, and particularly the reduction of the oil secretion is far less than that in the group using the products of example 1 in the group using the products of comparative examples 3 and 4, which indicates that the combination of okra extract, spica schizonepeta extract, gardenia jasminoides ellis extract and baicalein has the effect of significantly improving the whitening effect of the products, and particularly, the okra extract, spica schizonepeta extract and gardenia jasminoides extract play an important role in the whitening effect.

Table 4: results of feeling of use of Experimental group 1 and control groups 1-2
Figure BDA0002742202040000151
As is apparent from table 5 above, the 12 volunteers were far more approved in the use feeling of the product using the experimental group 1, namely, the fitting effect and the comfortable feeling, than the products using the control groups 1-2, wherein the ratio of the product using the experimental group 1, namely, the product having the particularly good fitting property, was 11 persons, and the product using the experimental group 1, namely, the product having the particularly good feeling, was 10 persons, was more than 90%. Therefore, the product of the embodiment has excellent fitting effect and comfort, effectively relieves the skin and promotes skin absorption.
(IV) skin irritation test
Rabbit eye irritation tests were performed on the finished products obtained in examples 1-5 above: 20 adult and healthy rabbits with the weight of 1.6-2.0kg and half of male and female are selected and randomly divided into 5 groups of 4 rabbits each. The finished products obtained in the embodiments 1 to 5 are respectively and correspondingly dripped into eye conjunctival sacs on the left side and the right side of 5 groups of rabbits, eyelids of the eyes of the rabbits are closed for a while, and the reaction conditions of the eyes of the tested rabbits are recorded at 4 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours, two days, three days to 7 days after the drug is applied.
The experimental results are as follows: after the medicine is taken for 4h, 12h, 24h, two days, three days to 7 days, no abnormal conditions such as hyperemia, turbidity, edema, secretion and the like appear on the cornea, iris and conjunctiva of 5 groups of rabbits, and the activity is normal. Therefore, the products of examples 1-5 are non-irritating, mild and non-irritating to the eyes of rabbits, and are also suitable for use with sensitive skin.
In combination with the above tests, the collagen jelly masks of embodiments 1 to 5 of the present invention can effectively balance water and oil of the skin, moisten and relieve the skin, cling to the skin, promote skin absorption, and whiten and remove acnes, and pass basic index tests and irritation tests. Therefore, the collagen mask disclosed by the invention can comprehensively care skin, is high in comfort level, mild and non-irritant, and is suitable for popularization and application.
