Abstract
本发明公开了一种电连接器,包括一绝缘本体;多个端子,每一端子具有一接触部和至少一夹持部,夹持部形成一夹持空间;多个焊料柱,每个焊料柱对应置于每一夹持空间内,焊料柱具有一基柱和自基柱向上延伸的一凸起部,夹持部夹持基柱位于夹持空间,凸起部的宽度小于基柱的宽度,基柱为圆柱体,焊料柱的高度大于基柱的直径,焊料柱在绝缘本体上的排列更为密集,当电连接器和电路板一并放入一回焊炉时,相比全部为圆柱体的焊料柱而言,热气体更易在凸起部周围流动,热气体与凸起部的接触面积也更大,进而就保证了回焊炉中的热气体流通性好,焊料柱熔化时间缩短且熔化温度相对均衡,进而保证焊接效果。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及一种电连接器,尤指一种电性连接一芯片模块模块至一电路板的电连接器。
背景技术
业界常用的电连接器,其具有多个端子,每一所述端子具有一接触部,所述接触部向上电性接触一芯片模块,每一所述端子具有一焊接部,所述焊接部设有一夹持部,藉由所述夹持部对焊料柱进行夹持,通过高温将焊料柱熔合,使得焊料柱向下与一电路板电性接触,进而实现端子与电路板的电性导通,完成芯片模块和电路板的电性连接。
但是上述电连接器存在以下缺陷,焊料柱为圆柱体,顶面和底面的直径相等,在回焊炉时,热气体流通于焊料柱顶面和绝缘本体围成的空间,该空间小导致热气体流通不畅,焊料柱熔化时间较长且熔化温度不均衡。
因此,有必要设计一种改良的电连接器,以克服上述问题。
发明内容
针对背景技术所面临的问题,本发明的目的在于提供一种通过于焊料柱上设置凸起部,并且凸起部高于夹持部,从而达到焊接时便于气体流通,进而保证焊接效果的电连接器。
为实现上述目的,本发明采用以下技术手段:
一种电连接器,其特征在于,包括一绝缘本体,其设有多个收容孔上下贯穿所述绝缘本体;多个端子,分别对应收容于多个所述收容孔,每一所述端子具有一主体部,一接触部自所述主体部向上延伸,一焊接部自所述主体部向下延伸,所述焊接部具有至少一夹持部,所述夹持部形成一夹持空间;多个焊料柱,每一所述焊料柱对应置于每一所述夹持空间内,所述焊料柱具有一基柱和自所述基柱向上延伸的一凸起部,所述夹持部夹持所述基柱位于所述夹持空间,所述凸起部的宽度小于所述基柱的宽度,所述凸起部高于所述夹持部,所述基柱为圆柱体,所述焊料柱的高度大于所述基柱的直径。
进一步,所述焊接部具有一连接部,自所述连接部的一侧延伸形成一夹持部,自所述连接部的另一侧也对称延伸形成一所述夹持部,所述连接部和两个所述夹持部共同形成所述夹持空间,两个所述夹持部夹持所述基柱,且所述连接部抵接所述基柱。
进一步,所述连接部为竖直设置。
进一步,所述夹持空间远离所述连接部的一侧设有一开口,所述开口位于两个所述夹持部之间,且将两个所述夹持部分隔。
进一步,所述焊料柱的外侧为弧形设置,对应地,所述夹持空间的内壁为弧形设置,所述焊料柱与所述夹持空间的内壁为贴合接触。
进一步,所述凸起部自所述基柱向上减缩设置。
进一步,所述凸起部的水平横截面为圆形。
进一步,所述凸起部的顶部为圆弧面。
进一步,所述基柱具有水平设置的一底面向下延伸出所述收容孔,且所述底面用以与一电路板接触。
进一步,所述底面与所述夹持部之间的距离大于0.15cm。
进一步,所述主体部靠近所述焊接部处设有一防虹吸结构。
进一步,所述防虹吸结构至少部分低于所述凸起部。
进一步,所述收容孔内设有一挡止部,所述挡止部位于所述凸起部的上方。

与现有技术相比,本发明具有以下有益效果:
所述焊料柱具有所述基柱和自所述基柱向上延伸的所述凸起部,所述端子具有所述夹持部,所述夹持部形成所述夹持空间用以装入所述焊料柱,由于所述焊料柱的高度大于所述基柱的直径,与同体积且所述焊料柱的高度不大于所述焊料柱的直径相比,前者在水平方向上的横截面更小,因此所述焊料柱在所述绝缘本体上的排列更为密集。
当所述电连接器组装完成后,需要与一电路板进行焊接,所以将组装完成后的所述电连接器和所述电路板一并放入一回焊炉中,所述电连接器位于所述电路板上方,且多个所述焊料柱分别对应所述电路板上的多个焊垫,当所述回焊炉进行加热时,热气体从上方和侧方进行加热,由于所述凸起部高于所述夹持部且所述凸起部的宽度小于所述基柱的宽度,相比全部为圆柱体的所述焊料柱而言,热气体更易在所述凸起部周围流动,热气体与所述凸起部的接触面积也更大,进而就保证了所述回焊炉中的热气体流通性好,所述焊料柱熔化时间也缩短且熔化温度相对均衡,进而保证焊接效果。

为便于更好的理解本发明的目的、结构、特征以及功效等,现结合附图和具体实施方式对本发明作进一步说明。
如图3和图4所示,本发明电连接器100包括一绝缘本体1,多个端子2和多个焊料柱5。
如图4和6所示,所述绝缘本体1设有上下贯通的多个收容孔14,所述收容孔14用以收容所述端子2和所述焊料柱5。所述绝缘本体1具有一上表面15,所述上表面15设有多个凸块13。每一所述收容孔14设有一挡止部12,所述挡止部12挡止所述焊料柱5上下移动。每一所述收容孔14内设有一凹槽11。
如图2和图6所示,每一所述端子2具有一主体部21,所述主体部21向上延伸出一延伸部23和倾斜延伸出一弹性臂22,所述弹性臂22的自由端具有一接触部221与一芯片模块7电性连接,所述弹性臂22通过倾斜延伸和设置所述接触部221可以使得所述弹性臂22不易疲乏,所述端子2与所述芯片模块7接触更加稳定。所述延伸部23与所述弹性臂22相邻设置且所述延伸部23与所述弹性臂22之间具有一间隙,所述延伸部23收容于所述凹槽11,所述凸块13位于两个所述弹性臂22之间,且高度不低于所述接触部221,可见,所述凸块13可以起到挡止两个所述弹性臂22之间的接触,所述端子2局限于所述收容孔14,避免多个端子2之间的错位导致所述电连接器100的短路。
如图2和图6所示,所述主体部21向下延伸出一焊接部24,所述焊接部24具有竖直设置的一连接部241,自所述连接部241的一侧延伸形成一夹持部242,自所述连接部241的另一侧也对称延伸形成一所述夹持部242,两个所述夹持部242夹持所述焊料柱5。所述主体部21靠近所述焊接部24处设有一防虹吸结构25,当将所述焊接部24焊接于所述电路板6上时,所述防虹吸结构25可以供焊料渗入,使得往所述焊接部24以上方向爬的焊料减少,起到防虹吸的作用,同时留在所述焊接部24上的焊料比较多,防止了虚焊现象。所述连接部241和两个所述夹持部242共同形成一夹持空间3,所述夹持空间3远离所述连接部241的一侧设有一开口4,所述开口4位于两个所述夹持部242之间,且将两个所述夹持部242分隔。
如图1所示,所述焊料柱5具有一基柱53和自所述基柱53向上延伸的一凸起部52,所述夹持部242夹持所述基柱53位于所述夹持空间3,两个所述夹持部242夹持所述基柱53且位于所述基柱53的三分之二处,所述连接部241抵接所述基柱53,且所述防虹吸结构25至少部分低于所述凸起部52,当然,在其他实施例中也可以是所述防虹吸结构25不低于所述凸起部52的情况。所述基柱53为圆柱体,即所述焊料柱5的外侧为弧形设置,对应地,所述夹持空间3的内壁为弧形设置,所述基柱53与所述夹持空间3的内壁为贴合接触,接触面积大且接触更为紧密,可以实现更好的夹持。所述凸起部52自所述基柱53向上减缩设置,即所述凸起部52的宽度小于所述基柱53的宽度,且所述凸起部52的水平横截面为圆形。所述凸起部52具有一顶部51,且所述凸起部52为圆弧面,避免因碰撞导致焊料柱5的顶部51的断裂而使得锡块掉落造成的所述电连接器100短路,当然,在其他实施例中也可以为,所述凸起部52为锥状、圆弧状或半球状。所述焊料柱5为锡制成,当然,也可以是由其它焊黏性质好的焊料制成。
如图6所示,所述挡止部12位于所述凸起部52的上方且所述凸起部52向上抵接于所述挡止部12,防止焊料柱5脱离出所述夹持空间3。所述基柱53具有水平设置的一底面54向下延伸出所述收容孔14,所述底面54用以与所述电路板6接触,因此所述焊料柱5与所述电路板6之间的接触面积更大,接触得更加紧密,焊接效果更好。所述底面54与所述夹持部242之间的距离大于0.15cm,而相同锡量的锡球的底面54与所述夹持部242之间的距离只能为0.15cm,起到避免空焊,保证焊接效果的作用。所述焊料柱5的高度大于所述基柱53的直径,与同体积且所述焊料柱5的高度不大于所述焊料柱5的直径的所述焊料柱5相比,前者在水平方向上的横截面更小,因此所述焊料柱5在所述绝缘本体1上的排列更为密集。
如图6所示,当所述电连接器100组装完成后,需要与一电路板6进行焊接,所以将组装完成后的所述电连接器100和所述电路板6一并放入一回焊炉(未图示)中,所述电连接器100位于所述电路板6上方,且多个所述焊料柱5分别对应所述电路板6上的多个焊垫,当所述回焊炉进行加热时,由于所述底面54与所述电路板6平面接触,热气体只能从上方和侧方进行加热,由于所述凸起部52高于所述夹持部242且所述凸起部52的宽度小于所述基柱53的宽度,相比全部为圆柱体的所述焊料柱5而言,热气体更易在所述凸起部52周围流动,热气体与所述凸起部52的接触面积也更大,进而就保证了所述回焊炉中的热气体流通性好,所述焊料柱5熔化时间也缩短且熔化温度相对均衡,进而保证焊接效果。此外,所述焊料柱5与圆柱体的锡柱相比,所述凸起部52起到导引所述焊料柱5从下至上地挤入所述夹持空间3的作用,即所述凸起部52撑开所述夹持部242,且相比所述夹持部242夹持锡球,所述夹持部242对所述焊料柱5的夹持力更大,夹持效果更好。
综上所述,本发明电连接器100有下列有益效果:
(1)所述焊料柱5具有圆柱体的所述基柱53和自所述基柱53向上减缩设置的所述凸起部52,所述凸起部52高于所述夹持部242,当所述电连接器100连接所述电路板6上的接触点并于所述回焊炉加热所述焊料柱5时,由于所述底面54与所述电路板6平面接触,所述回焊炉内的热气体只能从所述凸起部52上方或者是侧向进入并流通于所述凸起部52和所述绝缘本体1围成的空间,该空间比圆柱体的焊料柱5与所述绝缘本体1围成的空间大,因此所述回焊炉中的热气体流通空间变大,热气体的流通性变好,所述焊料柱5熔化时间缩短且熔化温度相对均衡,进而保证焊接效果,此外,所述焊料柱5与圆柱体的锡柱相比,所述凸起部52起到导引所述焊料柱5从下至上地挤入所述夹持空间3的作用,即所述凸起部52撑开所述夹持部242,且相比所述夹持部242夹持锡球,所述夹持部242对所述焊料柱5的夹持力更大,夹持效果更好。
(2)所述凸起部52具有所述顶部51,且所述凸起部52为圆弧面,避免因碰撞导致焊料柱5的顶部51的断裂而使得锡块掉落造成的所述电连接器100短路。
(3)所述焊料柱5的外侧为弧形设置,对应地,所述夹持空间3的内壁为弧形设置,所述基柱53与所述夹持空间3的内壁为贴合接触,接触面积大且接触更为紧密,可以实现更好的夹持。
(4)所述基柱53具有水平设置的一底面54向下延伸出所述收容孔14,所述底面54用以与所述电路板6接触,因此所述焊料柱5与所述电路板6之间的接触面积更大,接触得更加紧密,焊接效果更好,所述底面54与所述夹持部242之间的距离大于0.15cm,而相同锡量的锡球的底面54与所述夹持部242之间的距离只能为0.15cm,起到避免空焊,保证焊接效果的作用,所述焊料柱5的高度大于所述基柱53的直径,与同体积且所述焊料柱5的高度不大于所述焊料柱5的直径相比,前者在水平方向上的横截面更小,因此所述焊料柱5在所述绝缘本体1上的排列更为密集。

1.一种电连接器,其特征在于,包括:
一绝缘本体,其设有多个收容孔上下贯穿所述绝缘本体;
多个端子,分别对应收容于多个所述收容孔,每一所述端子具有一主体部,一接触部自所述主体部向上延伸,一焊接部自所述主体部向下延伸,所述焊接部具有至少一夹持部,所述夹持部形成一夹持空间;
多个焊料柱,每一所述焊料柱对应置于每一所述夹持空间内,所述焊料柱具有一基柱和自所述基柱向上延伸的一凸起部,所述夹持部夹持所述基柱位于所述夹持空间,所述凸起部的宽度小于所述基柱的宽度,所述凸起部高于所述夹持部,所述基柱为圆柱体,所述焊料柱的高度大于所述基柱的直径。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述焊接部具有一连接部,自所述连接部的一侧延伸形成一夹持部,自所述连接部的另一侧也对称延伸形成一所述夹持部,所述连接部和两个所述夹持部共同形成所述夹持空间,两个所述夹持部夹持所述基柱,且所述连接部抵接所述基柱。
3.如权利要求2所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述连接部为竖直设置。
