具有以上所描述特征的封装体的制作,特别是包含一定比例的回收材料或从可再生资源获得的材料,表现出许多困难。主要困难来自于以下事实:在焊接区域中,通过焊接通常的多层薄片(以下称为“层叠体”)获得的封装体的管状体包括至少在内层中的不连续区,其使得管的头部与所述管状体之间的连接成为问题。在这个集成步骤中,所述不连续区在制造的封装体中产生缺陷,诸如裂缝或可见缺陷,使其不适合售卖。
特别地,用于通过焊接的管状体制造的并且包括高百分比回收材料或从可再生资源获得的材料的层叠体通常很难压紧。这是例如包括高纤维素含量的层叠体的情况。虽然当所述层叠体包括可焊接表面层时,这些层叠体可以被焊接,但是相比之下所获得的焊接几乎不可压缩,并且因而该管状体的内表面在该焊接处显示出大片不连续区;所述不连续区是在集成管状体和管头期间遭遇的缺陷的原因。
当材料在压缩过程中变得足够地流动,可以在焊接区域中压缩包括高比例的回收材料或从可再生资源获得的材料的某些管状体,以克服前述的问题。但是,在许多情况中,这些回收材料或从可再生资源获得的材料不必须与包含封装体的产品直接接触,从而阻止焊接区域的压紧。这是因为所述压紧会引起不适合食品接触的受限回收树脂挤压到封装体的内部面上。特别地,并不是所有回收材料被洁净化用于食品接触,这是众所周知的,因此在通过焊接制造管中使用大量的上述材料变得困难。
在本发明的描述中,使用下列术语和简称:
●回收材料:从废物中提取的材料。其来自于已经完成第一使用周期(或生命周期)的物体或包装体,即已经提供了其第一目的的服务;
●从可再生资源获得的材料:从可以在人类尺度内的一个短时间周期内补充的自然资源获得的材料;
●原始材料:被洁净化用于食品接触的材料;
●PE:聚乙烯;
●EVOH:乙烯-乙烯醇;以及
●PET:聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯。
为克服上述确定的问题,本发明特别地包括在管状体内部面的纵向焊接的位置增加附加材料,所述附加材料不仅去除焊接处内表面的不连续区,而且也使得将管头连接到所述管状体变得更容易。
根据本发明,该附加材料包括至少一个材料层,使得其与该管状体的内表面可焊接并且使其与管头可焊接。
该附加材料可以为单层或多层。多层附加材料使得能够改进该封装体的阻隔性能并且阻挡在回收层中包含的并不适合食品接触的物质通过该层叠体的边缘面的迁移。多层附加材料也使得能够增强焊接区,当回收层包含高含量填料或不可焊接材料时,所述增强特别有用。
该附加材料使得管状体的内表面变得平滑,以使得连接管头和管状体变得更容易。根据本发明的附加材料的概念还可以用于去除管状体的外表面中的任何不连续区,以改进其外观、强度和不渗透性。
在本发明的第一实施例中,在产生纵向焊接时或在产生纵向焊接后,挤压或共挤压该附加材料。
在第二实施例中,使用填料颗粒或填料带,这种填料在其应用到管状体时至少部分熔化。熔化层必须代表至少50vol%的所述颗粒或所述带,以去除该管状体的内层中的不连续区。
本发明可以应用到不同的层叠体焊接配置。当通过两个端部的重叠焊接层叠体时,本发明也可以使用,其配置为外层焊接到层叠体的内层。
当层叠体的内部面焊接到其自身时,本发明也可以使用。
最后,当层叠体的端部对接焊接时,本发明也可以使用。

具体实施方式
附图1和2让待解决的问题得到理解。
附图1表示通过焊接具有含量高于30%的回收材料或从可再生资源获得的材料的层叠体3形成的管状体1。层叠体3的内表面通过重叠所述层叠体的端部焊接到该层叠体3的外部面。由于焊接界面4的长度可以根据需要进行调节,这种连接方式具有高焊接强度的优点。但是,由于已经使用包括一定比例的回收材料的层叠体,该层叠体的焊接区域2很难完全压紧,从而引起在该管状体的内表面中形成大面积不连续区5。该不连续区5是在管头和所述管状体的集成中所遭遇困难的根源。为什么该焊接区域2没有被压紧有众多原因。
在第一个实施例中,焊接区域2的不结实的压紧与形成层叠体的层的自然属性相关。例如,当该层叠体包括高比例的在焊接操作中未熔化层时,压紧变得困难;这特别是对于包括高百分比纤维素的层叠体的一个情况。
在第二个实施例中,由于卫生的原因焊接区域2不能被压紧。这特别是当层叠体包括高百分比的必须不与封装体中所容纳的产品接触的回收材料时的一个情况。焊接区域2的压紧将不适于食品接触的材料挤压到封装体的内部面上。
在第三实施例中,区域2不被压紧以防止可能没有焊接到管头的材料挤压到管状体1的内表面上。这是对于从具有不良焊接性的可再生资源获得的材料的情况。
因此,在包含高比例回收材料或从可再生资源获得的材料的管状体的情况中,由于前述的原因焊接区域2通常不被压紧。这导致大片的不连续区5,其在管头的连接期间在封装体中产生缺陷。
附图2图示了当附图1中所图示的管状体1通过焊接连接到管头7时获得的缺陷。更精确地,附图2表示了管状体1和管头7之间连接部的横截面图。
当管头7和管状体1通过焊接连接时,在不连续区5具有明显的管状体没有与管头焊接的区域,在封装体的内部和外部之间形成通道。在不连续区5的裂缝6妨碍所述封装的商业应用。
当管状体1和管头7通过将管头7二次成型到管状体1来连接时,在不连续区5处又创建了缺陷。特别地,在成型操作中,当熔融树脂到达不连续区5时,其通过不连续区5形成的通道从成型腔泄露。以这种方式泄露的树脂沿不连续区5焊接到管状体1并产生可见缺陷。管状体1的刚度还在树脂裂缝处改变,因此不仅不利地影响封装体的外观而且影响其使用性能。
附图3图示了该发明的第一实施例。这个实施例包括在不连续区5处的管状体1内部面上的附加材料8。这种附加材料8使不连续区5处的管状体1内表面平滑。附加材料8,其为单层或多层,仅占管状体的少量百分比。材料的选择必须考虑到将附加材料8同时焊接到管状体的内部面上以及管头的外部面上的需求。在附加材料8为多层的情况中,所述附加将包括允许其焊接到层叠体的内部面上和肩部的外部面上的至少一层。多层附加材料的使用会证明是一种例如限制封装体在焊接界面4的渗透性以及例如限制穿透进封装体的氧分子的迁移的有利途径。另一种好处是还限制封装体所容纳的物质通过层叠体的边缘面的迁移。附加材料通常不包括回收材料,因为其直接与封装的产品接触。
附图4图示了本发明的第一实施例的变体,根据本发明,附加材料8使不连续区5平滑并且完全包封层叠体3的端部。当层叠体包括至少一层低粘连层时,这个包封体特别地有利。层叠体端部的包封让焊接4得到增强。当层叠体包含高含量废纸或低档回收材料时,附图4中图示的变体特别地有利。
第一实施例的变体(未图示)包括在不连续区处将第二附加材料添加到管状体的外部面。该添加材料可以改进封装体的外观、机械性能或阻隔性能。
附图5图示了本发明的第二实施例,其中该层叠体为对接焊接。包括高百分比的回收层或从可再生资源获得的层的层叠体的对接焊接显示出一些困难,因为仅层叠体的少量百分比厚度会被有效地焊接。如附图5所示,附加材料8需要填充形成在层叠体3的两个端部之间的不连续区5。如附图5所示,附加材料8可以在管状体1的内表面上延展以增加焊接区域2的结合的强度。强调层叠体的内表面和附加材料8的表面之间的连续性很重要。如上所述,附加材料可以在其应用期间以至少部分熔化的带状形式应用。已经发现这种带状应当优选地当其应用时至少包含50%熔融树脂,以确保管状体(平滑表面)的内表面的连续性。
本发明的第三实施例在附图6中示出。根据这个实施例,层叠体的内部面焊接到自身并形成焊接界面4。使用附加材料8来去除形成在焊接下的不连续区5,并且使得管状体1的内表面平滑和连续。
从目前说明中将会理解,本发明通过在所述不连续区增加附加材料来去除管状体的内层中的不连续区简化了用于连接管头和管状体的集成操作。该附加材料还可以用于平滑管状体的外表面以改进其外观、其强度和其阻隔性能。
本发明让管状体的内层的连续性得到可观的改善。例如,借助本发明,初始的400微米的不连续区减小到小于50微米的值,并且优选小于20微米。
附加材料为单层或多层。至少50%的所述材料形成与管状体的内部面和管头外部面的焊接,并且在应用到管状体期间熔化以去除不连续区。有利地,这种焊接材料实质上与管状体的内部面的材料和与管头的外部面的材料相同。
可以通过在实施焊接管状体的操作时挤压到层叠体的内表面上来应用附加材料。也可以通过在焊接管状体期间添加至少部分熔化的长丝或带来应用附加材料。
本发明对于制备具有包括高百分比的回收材料或从可再生资源获得的材料的层叠体的管尤其有利。这种层叠体包括在其内部面上的至少一薄焊接层,该层保证食品接触安全和可焊接性。该内层例如由原始PE制成,即洁净化用于食品接触的PE树脂。原始PE层可以从回收材料获得,取决于现行立法。该层的厚度在层叠体的总厚度的5和40%之间,并且优选在10和20%之间。层叠体也包含至少一从回收材料和从可再生资源获得的材料制成的层。层叠体中回收材料或从可再生资源获得的材料的体积含量高于30%并且优选高于50%。
层叠体有利地包含具有阻隔性能的附加层并且位于可焊接的内层和由回收材料或从可再生资源获得的材料制成的层之间。该阻隔层可以为铝薄膜、EVOH薄膜或具有密封表面涂层的薄膜。该阻隔层阻止包装体中对于食品接触不洁净化的物质的迁移,该物质可能在回收层中存在。该层叠体有利地包含形成管状体的外表面的其他层。该外层可以为防护性PE或PET薄膜或由回收材料或可再生资源制成的薄膜。
有利地,该管头包括大于30%的回收材料或从可再生资源获得的材料,并且优选大于50%。该管头包括能确保食品接触安全的内层。该内层可以为原始PE层或涂层。该管头可以通过双射注模或双射压模来制作。备选地,该管头可以通过连接两个模制零件来获得。另一种可以用来获得管头的方法包括在管头的与所封装产品接触的部分上沉积涂层。最后一种方法包括二次成型形成该管头的内表面的薄膜(IML)或嵌件。
备选的,该管头包含大于30%的从可再生资源获得的材料,并且优选大于50%。有利地,该管头通过树脂的注模或压模来制作,该树脂填充有适合直接与食品接触的自然纤维(纤维素)。
两种方法之一可以用于固定管头到管状体。第一种方法包括使用上述方法之一预先制造管头然后通过加热被焊接的界面来焊接管头和管状体。固定管头到管状体的第二种方法,称为“二次成型”,包括将管头固定到管状体与成型所述管头的操作相结合。在这种方法中,模塑材料中存储足够的热以确保其与管状体焊接。
本发明不仅限于管的制作,其也应用到通过集成管状体、头部和基座形成的瓶的制造。以上描述的用于集成头部和管状体的本发明也可以用于简化基座和管状体的集成。因此,本发明允许制造包括高百分比回收材料或从可再生资源获得的材料的瓶。
有利地,该包装体的盖子包括大于30%的回收材料或从可再生资源获得的材料,并且优选大于50%。该盖子通过注模或压模回收材料或从可再生资源获得的材料来制作。在塑模材料与食品不兼容的情况下,在头部的开口和盖子之间设置一保护膜。该膜通常为包含与该头部的开口周边连接的内部PE层的薄膜。内部衬垫也防止与食品的直接接触。

根据本发明的包装体的例子:
i)具有35mm的直径和140mm长的裙体的管包括:
●具有3.7g重量并且包含80%回收材料的层叠体;
●具有0.04g重量的附加材料;
●具有1.7g重量包括70%回收材料的头部;
●具有1g重量由100%回收材料制成的盖子;以及
●具有0.02g重量的膜。
因此,这个封装体具有6.46g的总重量并包含80%回收材料。头部和裙体通过焊接集成。
ii)具有35mm的直径和140mm长的裙体的管包括:
●具有3.7g重量并且包含60%从可再生资源获得的材料的层叠体;
●具有0.04g重量的具有4mm宽度和80μm平均厚度的附加材料;
●具有1.7g重量包含60%从可再生资源获得的材料的头部;以及
●具有1g重量包含60%从可再生资源获得的材料的盖子。
这种封装体因而具有6.44g总重量并且包含60%从可再生资源获得的材料。头部和裙体通过二次成型来集成。

Claims (20)

1.一种用于容纳半流体产品的管状的柔性封装体,所述柔性封装体包含裙体、头部以及至少在该裙体内边上的附加材料,该裙体由卷起的薄片形成并包括连接其边缘的纵向焊接,该头部固定到该裙体的端部中的一个的周边;所述柔性封装体的特征在于,该裙体具有至少30%含量的回收材料或从可再生资源获得的材料,并且特征在于,设置所述附加材料以去除在纵向焊接区域中内部表面上的不连续区并且使得不连续区处的裙体的内表面平滑和连续,其中所述回收材料来自于已经完成第一次使用周期或生命周期的物体或包装体。
2.如权利要求1所述的柔性封装体,其特征在于,该裙体中的回收材料或从可再生资源获得的材料的含量高于50%。
3.如权利要求2所述的柔性封装体,其特征在于,所述含量高于70%。
4.如前述权利要求的任一项所述的柔性封装体,其特征在于,该头部中的回收材料或从可再生资源获得的材料的含量高于30%。
5.如权利要求4所述的柔性封装体,其特征在于,该头部中的回收材料或从可再生资源获得的材料的含量高于50%。
6.如权利要求1-3和5中任一项所述的柔性封装体,其特征在于,其包括固定在该裙体的另一端部的周边的基座。
7.如权利要求6所述的柔性封装体,其特征在于,该基座中的回收材料或从可再生资源获得的材料的含量高于30%。
8.如权利要求7所述的柔性封装体,其特征在于,该基座中的回收材料或从可再生资源获得的材料的含量高于50%。
9.如权利要求1-3、5和7-8中任一项所述的柔性封装体,其特征在于,该裙体用薄片制成,该薄片包含在其内部面上的至少一原始PE层和至少一由回收材料或从可再生资源获得的材料制成的层,其中该原始PE层由原始PE制成,该原始PE是洁净化用于食品接触的PE树脂。
10.如权利要求1-3、5和7-8中任一项所述的柔性封装体,其特征在于,通过重叠形成裙体的薄片的边缘并将该薄片的上表面焊接到该薄片的下表面来制作该纵向焊接。
11.如权利要求1-3、5和7-8中任一项所述的柔性封装体,其特征在于,通过连接形成该裙体的薄片的边缘的端部制作该纵向焊接。
12.如权利要求1-3、5和7-8中任一项所述的柔性封装体,其特征在于,通过重叠形成该裙体的薄片的边缘并将该薄片的下表面焊接到其自身来制作该纵向焊接。
13.如权利要求1-3、5和7-8中任一项所述的柔性封装体,其特征在于,该附加材料覆盖该薄片的边缘中的至少一个。
14.如权利要求1-3、5和7-8中任一项所述的柔性封装体,其特征在于,覆盖该裙体的纵向焊接的该附加材料也设置于该裙体的外部上。
15.如权利要求1-3、5和7-8中任一项所述的柔性封装体,其中通过挤压或焊接来添加该附加材料。
16.如权利要求1-3、5和7-8中任一项所述的柔性封装体,其中该附加材料为单层或多层。
17.如权利要求1-3、5和7-8中任一项所述的柔性封装体,其中预先制造该头部,然后将该头部通过焊接连接到该裙体。
18.如权利要求1-3、5和7-8中任一项所述的柔性封装体,其中通过注模或压模工艺中的二次成型将该管头连接到该裙体。
19.如权利要求1-3、5和7-8中任一项所述的柔性封装体,其特征在于,该柔性封装体还包括盖子。
20.如权利要求1-3、5和7-8中任一项所述的柔性封装体,其特征在于,所述半流体产品是膏。
