在玻璃以覆盖光伏电池或太阳能电池的玻璃片形式进行使用的用途中,重要的是所用玻璃具有极高的可见光和/或红外辐射透射,特别高于90%,因为电池的量子效率强烈地受到由玻璃造成的可见光或红外辐射的透射降低(即使极低)影响。
可见光或红外线范围内的透射通常以透射系数(facteur detransmission)的形式表示,所述透射系数在将给定的光谱分布和任选人眼灵敏度计入考虑的情况下在光谱的特定部分中积分各波长的透射。为了量化玻璃在可见光范围内的透射,由此定义光透射系数,其被称作光透射,通常缩写为“TL”,其在380和780mm之间计算并被简化为3.2毫米玻璃厚度,同时考虑如由ISO/CIE 10526标准定义的发光体D65和如由ISO/CIE 10527标准定义的C.I.E.1931标准色度观察者。为了量化玻璃在包括可见光和太阳红外线(也称作“近红外”)范围内的透射,定义能量透射系数,其被称作“能量透射”,缩写为“TE”,其根据ISO 9050标准计算并被简化为3.2毫米玻璃厚度。
已知最大地降低玻璃中的总氧化铁含量以达到高于90%的TL和TE值。氧化铁在玻璃工业中所用的大多数天然原材料(砂、长石、石灰石、白云石等)中作为杂质存在,其在可见光和近紫外线范围内同时吸收(由于高铁离子Fe3+产生的吸收),且尤其在可见光和近红外线范围内吸收(由于亚铁离子Fe2+产生的吸收)。对于普通的天然原材料,氧化铁的总重量含量为大约0.1%(1000ppm)。但是,大于90%的透射要求将氧化铁含量降至小于0.02%或200ppm,或甚至小于0.01%(100ppm),这要求选择特别纯的原材料并提高最终产品的成本。
为了进一步提高玻璃的透射,也已知优先降低亚铁含量而非降低三价铁含量,因此氧化该玻璃中存在的铁。因此,以具有尽可能最低的“氧化还原作用(redox)”(理想地为0或接近0)的玻璃为目标,氧化还原作用被定义为FeO(亚铁)的重量含量与总氧化铁(以Fe2O3形式表示)的重量含量的比率。这一数值可以在0至0.9之间变化,0氧化还原作用相当于完全氧化的玻璃。
对于尽可能氧化氧化铁已经提出各种解决方案。例如从US 6844280中获知向玻璃中加入氧化铈(CeO2)。但是,氧化铈会成为所谓的“曝光过度(solarisation)”的过程的起因,其中在吸收紫外辐射后玻璃的透射极大降低。也已知向玻璃中加入氧化锑(Sb2O3)或氧化砷(As2O3)——传统上用作玻璃精炼剂(affinant)并具有将铁氧化的特性的氧化物。例如在申请US 2006/249199中描述了使用Sb2O3。但是,这些氧化物经证实与玻璃的浮法不相容。据显示,在锡浴的非氧化所必须的还原条件下,这些氧化物中的一部分挥发,随后冷凝在形成的玻璃片上,造成不合意的混浊。

玻璃组合物中铁的存在可能是作为杂质来自原材料,或来自旨在将玻璃着色的有意添加。铁已知以高铁离子(Fe3+)和亚铁离子(Fe2+)的形式存在于玻璃的结构中。Fe3+离子的存在赋予该玻璃极轻微的黄色着色并使其能够吸收紫外辐射。Fe2+离子的存在赋予该玻璃更显著的蓝绿着色并诱发红外辐射的吸收。这两种形式的铁含量的提高加强可见光谱末端的辐射的吸收,这种效应的发生损害光透射。
在本发明中,Fe2O3(总铁)含量优选小于或等于0.015%,特别地0.01%,以限制光透射和能量透射。
对于本发明人显而易见的是,K2O含量的提高(尤其牺牲Na2O含量)能够获得极高的透射。就本发明人所知,从未证实过这种现象,其可归因于铁原子化学环境的改变。这种作用看似仅在缺乏铁的玻璃中出现。申请人提交的申请EP 688 741事实上指出,K2O含量的提高在含有0.02%至0.2%氧化铁的玻璃中更恰当地说具有提高红外辐射吸收的作用。通常以小于1%或0.5%的含量存在于钠钙硅玻璃中的氧化物K2O一般作为由原材料如长石或霞石正长岩提供的杂质进行处理。
K2O含量优选大于或等于2%或甚至3%,特别地4%或5%。出于主要与成本相关的原因,K2O含量优选小于或等于8%或甚至7%。3%至5%的含量经证实特别有利。
K2O含量与Na2O含量的比率优选大于或等于0.1,特别地0.2,和/或小于或等于1。

在此约定,该钠钙硅玻璃组合物除特别包含在原材料中的不可避免的杂质外还包含小比例(最多1%)的其它成分,例如有助于玻璃的熔融或精炼的试剂(SO3、Cl等),或来自用于建造熔炉的耐火材料(例如ZrO2)的溶解的其它元素。出于已经提到的原因,本发明的组成优选不含如Sb2O3、As2O3或CeO2的氧化物。MoO3含量优选为0。
本发明的玻璃片的组成优选不含除已列举的那些外的吸收可见光或红外辐射(尤其是对380至1000纳米的波长而言)的任何试剂。特别地,本发明的组成优选不含选自下列试剂的多种试剂或下列试剂的任一种:过渡元素氧化物,如CoO、CuO、Cr2O3、MnO2,稀土氧化物,如CeO2、La2O3、Nd2O3,或元素态的着色剂,如Se、Ag、Cu。这些试剂非常通常具有在有时为大约几ppm或更低(1ppm=0.0001%)的极低含量下表现出来的极强的不合意着色作用。它们的存在因此非常强地降低玻璃的透射。但是,对于某些应用,特别地在家具中,可以添加很低含量有色氧化物,特别地小于1ppm的极少量的氧化钴,以在玻璃薄片产生轻微可见的着色。
在本发明的玻璃片中,出于下列原因,二氧化硅通常保持在窄界限值内。高于75%时,玻璃的粘度及其反玻璃化能力极大提高,这使其更难熔融和其在熔融锡浴上流动。低于60%,特别64%时,该玻璃的抗水解性迅速降低。
氧化铝Al2O3在玻璃的抗水解性中起到特别重要的作用。当本发明的玻璃片要用在炎热潮湿环境中时,氧化铝含量优选大于或等于1%。
碱金属氧化物Na2O和K2O促进玻璃的熔融并能够在高温下调节其粘度以使其保持接近标准玻璃的粘度。可以使用最多10%的K2O,因为在此含量以上会存在组合物的高成本问题。此外,可以基本仅以Na2O(其有助于提高粘度)为代价实现K2O百分比的提高。以重量百分比表示的Na2O和K2O含量的总和优选等于或高于10%,有利地小于20%。如果这些含量的总和高于20%或如果Na2O含量高于18%,抗水解性极大降低。由于其高成本,本发明的玻璃优选不含氧化锂Li2O。
碱土金属氧化物能够使玻璃粘度适合生产条件。
可以以最多大约10%使用MgO,可以至少部分由Na2O和/或SiO2含量的提高来补偿MgO的缺失。MgO含量优选小于5%。低MgO含量还能够降低熔融该玻璃所需的原材料的数量。
BaO对玻璃粘度的影响远小于CaO和MgO,其含量的提高基本以牺牲碱金属氧化物、MgO,尤其是CaO为代价实现。BaO的任何增加有助于在低温下提高玻璃粘度。本发明的玻璃优选不含BaO以及不含氧化锶(SrO),这些元素具有高成本。
本发明的玻璃组合物能在用于通过拉伸、轧制或优选浮法技术形成平板玻璃的玻璃生产条件下熔融。
熔融通常在任选配有电极的火焰炉中进行,其中该电极通过使电流这两个电极之间流过来加热主体中的玻璃。为了促进熔融操作,尤其是为了使其是机械有利的,该玻璃组合物有利地具有与使logη=2的粘度η对应的温度(小于1500℃)。还优选地,与使logη=3.5的粘度η对应的温度(记作T(logη=3.5))和液相线温度(记作Tliq)满足关系式:
T(logη=3.5)-Tliq>20℃
更好地:
T(logη=3.5)-Tliq>50℃
为了进一步改进该玻璃的光透射和能量透射,该玻璃片可以在其至少一面上涂有减反射涂层。这种涂层可以包含一层(例如,基于具有低折光指数的多孔二氧化硅)或多层:在后一情况下,基于介电材料的多层叠层是优选的,该叠层使具有低和高折光指数的层交替并以具有低折光指数的层结束。其尤其可以是申请WO 01/94989或WO 2007/077373中所述的叠层。
仍为了提高光透射和能量透射,该玻璃片的表面可以如申请WO03/046617、WO 2006/134300、WO 2006/134301或WO 2007/015017中所述地进行结构化,例如具有图案(特别地棱锥形图案)。
本发明的另一主题是本发明的玻璃片在光伏电池、太阳能电池、用于聚集太阳能的平面镜或抛物面镜、或用于LCD(液晶显示器)型显示屏的背后照明的漫射体中的用途。本发明的玻璃片也可用于室内用途(隔板、家具等)或电器用品(冰箱搁板等)。其也可用在基于有机电致发光二极管的显示器或平面灯中。
通常,本发明的另一主题是光伏电池、太阳能电池或用于聚集太阳能的平面镜或抛物面镜、或LCD型显示屏背后照明的漫射体,其包含至少一个玻璃片,对于3.2毫米厚度,其光透射TL为至少91%,或甚至91.5%和/或其能量透射TE为至少91%,或甚至91.4%(在这两种情况下,都不存在任何减反射处理),其与该玻璃的组成无关。该玻璃片优选能通过在熔融锡浴上的浮法获得。事实上看起来,本发明第一次可以获得这些性能。
在阅读表1所说明的非限制性实施例的下列详述后,将更好地理解本发明。
在这些实施例中,指出针对3.2毫米玻璃厚度由实验谱计算出的下列光学性质的值:
-根据ISO 9050标准计算的能量透射(TE),
-在将如ISO/CIE 10526标准定义的发光体D65和如ISO/CIE 10527标准定义的C.I.E.1931标准色度观察者计入考虑的情况下,在380和780纳米之间计算的总光透射系数(TL)。
在表1中还指出通过化学分析测得的钾、铁和任选钨的氧化物的重量含量。
表1中出现的组成由包含下列氧化物的基质制造,这些氧化物的含量以重量百分比表示:

组成C1是对比例,其标准钠钙硅类型的基质包含低K2O含量。氧化钾的引入能够显著提高该玻璃的光透射和能量透射最高至大于或等于91%的值。在实施例2、4和5中,使用氧化钨WO3甚至可以达到或超过91.5%的值。
实施例5是特别有利的,因为其在中等WO3和K2O含量下具有极高的透射值。
所得玻璃无一在紫外辐射下的100小时加速试验后表现出曝光过度。
图1表示获得的玻璃片的氧化钾(K2O)含量和能量透射(TE)在连续运行的熔炉中的生产运行期间同时变化。经8天逐渐引入氧化钾,直至达到3.5%的含量。K2O含量的提高与TE的提高(其从90.6%变成91.0%)完美相关的。
Claims (12)
1.尤其能通过在熔融锡浴上的浮法获得的玻璃片,其化学组成是钠钙硅类型的并包含下列成分,所述成分的含量在下面定义的重量限值内变化:
Fe2O3(总铁) 0至0.02%;和
K2O 1.5至10%。
2.如权利要求1所述的玻璃片,其组成包含下列成分,所述成分含量在下面定义的重量限值内变化:
SiO2 60-75%
Al2O3 0-10%
B2O3 0-5%,优选0
CaO 5-15%
MgO 0-10%
Na2O 5-20%
BaO 0-5%,优选0。
3.如前述权利要求之一所述的玻璃片,其中Fe2O3(总铁)含量小于或等于0.015%,特别地0.01%。
4.如前述权利要求之一所述的玻璃片,其中K2O含量大于或等于2%,特别地3%。
5.如前述权利要求之一所述的玻璃片,其中氧化还原作用小于或等于0.1,特别地0.07。
6.如前述权利要求之一所述的玻璃片,对于3.2毫米厚度其具有至少91%,特别地91.5%的光透射TL。
7.如前述权利要求之一所述的玻璃片,对于3.2毫米厚度其具有至少91%,特别地91.5%的能量透射TE。
8.如前述权利要求之一所述的玻璃片,其组成另外包含含量为0.1%至2%的氧化钨(WO3)。
9.如前述权利要求之一所述的玻璃片,其组成不含任何其它吸收可见光和/或红外辐射的试剂。
10.如前一权利要求所述的玻璃片,其组成不含选自CoO、CuO、Cr2O3、MnO2、CeO2、La2O3、Nd2O3、Se、Ag、Cu的试剂。
11.如前述权利要求之一所述的玻璃片,其组成不含氧化物Sb2O3、As2O3或CeO2。
12.如前述权利要求之一所述的玻璃片在光伏电池、太阳能电池、用于聚集太阳能的平面镜或抛物面镜、或用于LCD(液晶显示器)型显示屏的背后照明的漫射体的用途。
