Claims (11)
- ガラスを得るための連続的方法であって、
・複数のバーナーがそれに沿って配置されている炉の上流側で原料を投入する工程、
・溶融ガラスの塊を得る工程、
・次に前記溶融ガラスの塊を炉の更に下流側に位置するゾーンに導く工程であって、このゾーンの領域内に配置された少なくとも1つのバーナーに化学量論量を超える量の酸化剤を供給する工程、

- 前記オーバーヘッドバーナーが上流側から下流側に規則的に配置され、且つ互いに向き合ったバーナー対の形で配列されていて、各対のバーナーは、所定の時間に前記側壁のうちの一方のもの領域に配置されたバーナーのみが火炎を発生させるように交互に作動する、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記炉が6〜8対のバーナーを有し、最も下流側に位置する2対又は3対のバーナーあるいは最も下流側に位置する最後のバーナー対のみに、化学量論量を超える量の酸化剤を供給する、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記炉が、上流側から下流側に向かって、ガラス溶融ゾーンを確定しそして次に清澄ゾーンを画定する第1のチャンバ、そして次に溶融ガラスのための冷却ゾーンを画定する第2のチャンバを有し、全てのバーナーを第1のチャンバの領域内に配置する、請求項1〜4の一つに記載の方法。
- 化学量論量を超える量の酸化剤が供給される前記バーナーが前記ガラス清澄ゾーンの領域内に位置している、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記バーナーに空気と燃料とを供給する、請求項1〜6の一つに記載の方法。
- 前記燃料を天然ガス及び燃料油又はそれらの混合物から選択する、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記化学量論量を超える量の酸化剤が、酸素対燃料のモル比が1.05〜1.5であるようなものである、請求項1〜8の一つに記載の方法。
- 前記板ガラスを錫浴上に浮かばせることにより形成する、請求項1〜9の一つに記載の方法。
- 前記ガラス浴の上の酸素分圧が4〜7%である、請求項1〜10の一つに記載の方法。
