Abstract

技术领域
【001】本发明涉及承载装置及该装置的制造方法,特别涉及诸如货盘的包括聚合物的承载装置。
背景技术
【002】存储和运输货物尤其是散装货物的装置必须足够坚固以承受正常操作中可能遇到的高冲击应力和不利的环境条件。
【003】存储和运输货物的木制货盘在本领域内已众所周知并由诸如ISO标准第6780号的标准定义。这种货盘在该标准中被严格定义,且其它标准定义了判断其适合使用前必须经历的测试。
【004】但是,木制货盘有许多缺点。它们容易腐烂、生蛀虫,这意味着其工作寿命相对短,并危及其上承载的货物。此外,木制货盘容易被尖锐物体刺穿、相对较重且难以循环利用。
【005】申请人同时待审的英国专利申请第0406272.5号、第0414991.0号、第0425943.8号和第0505607.2号通过引用并入本文。
【006】本发明的至少一个优选实施例的目的是克服或改进现有技术的至少一个缺点,或至少提供其适当的替代方案。
发明内容
【007】根据本发明的第一方面,提供聚合物的承载装置,其包括:
外壳部分;以及
外壳部分内的填充内芯部分,
其中外壳部分包括重量少于10%的填料,内芯部分包括重量至少15%的填料。
【008】有利地,由于内芯部分和外壳部分之间存在填料的显著差异,所以内芯比外壳更硬、更坚固;外壳与内芯相比相对较软、较柔韧。因此货盘的外壳用作冲击吸收层以避免货盘的内芯发生冲击损坏。因此能够保持较高内部结构整体性的货盘与设计相似的空心货盘或实心均质货盘相比更能防止损坏。
【009】内芯部分优选是发泡的。
【010】填料优选包括矿物填料。矿物填料优选包括硅酸盐材料,优选为沙粒。作为另一选择,矿物填料可包括碳酸盐,优选为碳酸钙。
【011】外壳部分优选包括重量少于5%的矿物填料,更优选地外壳部分基本不包括填料。
【012】内芯部分优选包括重量至少20%的矿物填料,更优选地内芯部分包括重量至少40%的矿物填料。
【013】内芯和外壳优选包括聚乙烯,且更优选为高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)。

向外壳的空腔内引入第二进料以形成外壳内的内芯,第二进料包括聚合物和至少15%的填料;以及
冷却模具以形成承载装置。
【017】引入第二进料的步骤优选包括使用发泡剂以使内芯发泡。
【018】第一和第二进料中的聚合物优选为聚乙烯,且更优选为HDPE。
【019】填料优选为矿物填料,且更优选为沙粒。

外壳部分内的内芯部分,
其中外壳部分和内芯部分各自包括至少一种聚合物,且其中内芯部分比外壳部分更易碎。

具体实施方式
【032】参照附图,图1示出可根据本文所述技术制造的货盘10形式的承载装置的实施例。货盘10具有基本为矩形的上表面或平台12以及从平台12垂下的多个支脚14。
【033】支脚14与货盘10的平台12模制为整体。在本实施例中,货盘包括一个或更多个支脚14,位于货盘10的各拐角、货盘中心以及货盘10各边中心。货盘的替代实施例可包括更多或更少从平台12垂下的支脚14。
【034】货盘10的支脚14至少部分空心。这减少各货盘10的重量而不会大幅降低货盘的强度,因此指定总重时允许在货盘上装载更多货物。从货盘10的平台12在支脚14中形成空心。这允许堆叠嵌套货盘10。
【035】支脚14被布置为使得提升和操纵装置可使用货盘10以使叉车的铲子可插入各对支脚14间的货盘平台12下方。
【036】货盘10的平台12的上表面16配备不平坦的表面,这有助于增加置于表面16之上的物品与表面16的啮合。货盘10的平台12一般为基本连续的表面,尽管表面中可能有孔以减少货盘10的重量。
【037】现将参照附图中图2至8说明货盘10’形式的承载装置的另一实施例,其中相似数字指相似部件。图1所示货盘10’包括两个部件:顶货盘元件18以及底货盘元件20。图3至5图解说明了顶货盘元件18,图6和7图解说明了底货盘元件20。顶货盘元件18和底货盘元件20各包括将顶货盘元件18和底货盘元件20接合在一起以形成货盘10’的相互相对的可互锁啮合的公支脚22和母支脚24。在图2至8所图解说明的实施例中,顶货盘元件18具有从平台12’垂下的九个公支脚,底货盘元件20具有从底座26向上伸出的九个母支脚。如图4和7所示,公支脚22包括适于与母支脚24的开孔部分30可互锁啮合的伸出部分28。在另一替代实施例中,公支脚位于底货盘元件上,而母支脚位于顶货盘元件上。尽管本实施例的顶货盘元件18和底货盘元件20一般接合在一起而形成货盘10’,没有底货盘元件20,顶货盘元件18也可用作货盘。

【040】为了形成货盘的外壳,包括HDPE且基本不包括填料的预定量的第一进料被引入模具并加热模具。可使用任何适当的加热装置加热模具壁,例如使用嵌入模具壁中的加热板,但在本实施例中,模具是通过均匀地直接加热模具外部而被加热的。在一个实施例中,第一进料在约160度温度时软化并在约220度温度时溶化。
【041】模具内的探测器监视模具内的温度以确定进料何时已溶化。探测器位于模具内并监视模具内的空气温度。
【042】模具一般置于车架上,其使模具能够晃动旋转或自旋以将第一进料层涂覆在模具内表面。已发现,仅使用低速旋转和小倾斜角就可充分涂覆模具表面。例如,约为每分钟4转的转速、最大倾斜角15度的约每分钟2次循环的倾斜循环速率,足以将溶化的进料分布于模具表面。因此部分形成了具有外壳部分和其中的空腔的外壳。
【043】为用外壳的空腔形成货盘的内芯,将包括重量约60%的HDPE和重量40%的矿物沙粒填料的第二进料和蒸汽形式的发泡剂引入外壳的内部。在将第二进料引入至模具内的外壳内期间持续晃动、旋转并加热模具。在第一进料已涂覆于模具表面后尽可能快地引入第二进料至部分形成的外壳的空腔内是有利的。这允许外壳和内芯间形成较好的接合并减少制造产品的周期时间。同样,可以理解,以这样的方式,外壳和内芯间没有明确的分界;外壳和内芯的分界处将发生一些第一和第二进料的混合。
【044】一旦已将第一和第二进料引入模具,模具和模具中的产品被冷却,例如通过在水喷雾或水流中旋转模具或通过使用围绕模具的冷却套管。
【045】上述方法周期一般花费大约20分钟。
【046】注意晃动和旋转模具,也就是绕模具的两对称轴旋转模具的效果可通过绕与模具的对称轴不平行的旋转轴旋转模具实现。例如,绕与经过模具中心的对称轴成角度的旋转轴旋转模具。
【047】旋转和/或晃动模具可通过绕固定轴旋转模具实现,例如通过将模具固定于机架中。或者,晃动和旋转可通过例如沿轨道滚动模具实现。轨道的形状被设定为在模具沿其长度滚动时提供晃动运动。
【048】结果所得的货盘的发泡内芯部分包括重量约3%的发泡剂,密度约为0.95克/立方厘米,但密度可处于约0.90至0.96克/立方厘米的范围内。尽管在优选实施例中,内芯基本填充外壳的空腔,但在替代实施例中,内芯在外壳的空腔基本成线状排列。
【049】尽管已参照旋转模制和填充工艺说明了优选制造方法,但是可以理解,可使用其它适当的已知方法制造货盘。对于一些应用,旋转模制比例如吹塑或注射模塑更佳,因为该工艺引入较少应力到模制的产品。
【050】旋转模制填充的塑料材料的另一优点在于旋转模制装置和本文所述这样的材料一起使用更加耐用、寿命更长。
【051】在本发明的替代实施例中,旋转和/或晃动模具停止后引入第二进料至空腔。
【052】优选实施例的填料一般为矿物填料,如沙粒,优选为挖出的沙粒,因为挖出的沙粒的颗粒比例如沙漠沙粒更细。或者,填料可包括:碳酸盐材料,如碳酸钙;另一硅酸盐材料,如地面岩;盐材料,如氯化钠;或有机材料,如麦秆、花生壳、蔬菜废弃物、面粉、动物粪便或芒属。
【053】内芯包括使沙粒和HDPE相对高装载的合一体(unifier)。内芯包括重量介于0.25%和5%之间的合一体。合一体一般包括内部润滑剂和/或外部润滑剂。在适用的情况下,内部润滑剂包括直链或支链C12-C24脂肪酸酰胺,如乙酰磺胺。在适用的情况下时,外部润滑剂包括硬脂酸盐。
【054】因内芯和外壳间填料的显著差异,所以与外壳相比,内芯具有更高的杨氏模量。内芯也比外壳更硬、更坚固;外壳比内芯相对更软、更柔韧。因此外壳用作冲击吸收层以避免内芯发生冲击损坏。因此能够保持较高内部结构整体性的货盘与设计相似的空心货盘或实心均质货盘相比更能防止损坏。
【055】本发明的其它优点包括由于内芯被发泡,所以货盘相对较轻。考虑内芯部分包括填料,优选为沙粒,所以货盘也相对较便宜。货盘是聚合物的,与常规货盘相比,货盘的耐用性提高,因此可能工作寿命相对增长。
【056】上述实施例的货盘的尺寸与标准货盘的尺寸相对应,即约1020×1220毫米(40×48英寸)。在另一实施例中,上述货盘为1008×1209毫米的宽和长。这使得单一尺寸的货盘既可满足1016×1220毫米(40×48英寸)左右的美国货盘标准要求,也可满足1000×1200毫米左右的欧洲货盘标准要求。
【057】可以理解,本发明的其它实施例可包括其它进料成分,如色料等。

Claims (21)
1.一种聚合物的承载装置,包括:
外壳部分;以及
所述外壳部分内填充的内芯部分,
其中所述外壳部分包括重量少于10%的填料,所述内芯部分包括重量多于15%的填料。
2.如权利要求1所述的承载装置,其中所述内芯部分是发泡的。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的承载装置,其中所述填料包括矿物填料。
4.如任一前述权利要求所述的承载装置,其中所述外壳部分包括重量少于5%的矿物填料。
5.如任一前述权利要求所述的承载装置,其中所述外壳部分基本不包括填料。
6.如任一前述权利要求所述的承载装置,其中所述内芯部分包括重量至少20%的矿物填料。
7.如任一前述权利要求所述的承载装置,其中所述内芯部分包括重量至少40%的矿物填料。
8.如任一前述权利要求所述的承载装置,其中所述至少一种聚合物包括聚乙烯,且优选为高密度聚乙烯HDPE。
9.如任一前述权利要求所述的承载装置,其中所述内芯部分的所述至少一种聚合物包括密度为约0.8至0.98克/立方厘米的泡沫HDPE。

13.一种制造聚合物的承载装置的方法,包括以下步骤:
向模具中引入第一进料,所述第一进料包括聚合物和少于10%的填料;
旋转并加热所述模具以至少部分形成所述承载装置的外壳;
向所述外壳中引入第二进料以形成所述外壳内的内芯,所述第二进料包括聚合物和多于15%的填料;以及
冷却所述模具以形成所述承载装置。
14.如权利要求13所述的方法,其中引入第二进料的步骤包括使用发泡剂以使所述内芯发泡。
15.如权利要求13或14所述的方法,其中所述第一和第二进料的聚合物为聚乙烯,且优选为HDPE。
16.如权利要求13至15任一权利要求所述的方法,其中所述填料为矿物填料,且优选为沙粒。
17.如权利要求13至16任一权利要求所述的方法,其中所述第二进料包括重量至少20%的填料。
18.如权利要求13至17任一权利要求所述的方法,其中所述第二进料包括重量至少40%的填料。
19.如权利要求13至18任一权利要求所述的方法,其中所述内芯包括重量约3%的发泡剂。
