Centrifugal machines; plant, general arrangement of.- Materials such as concrete, glass, or metal are centrifugally moulded in a cylindrical casing a rotated by endless bands b which also suspend it from a carriage c. The latter may be fixed or movably mounted on a track g, preferably circular so as to enable the mould to be brought into different positions for performing the various steps in the moulding operation. A series of carriages may be used, and transporting rails with upwardly and downwardly inclined ends are provided to feed and remove the moulds from the circular track.
