技术领域
本发明涉及美观的弹性件和具成本效益的固定弹性件到基底的方法。
更具体地,本发明涉及一种独特的双硬度垫,在优选实施例中,当固定到基底如汽车窗时,其形成所谓的单侧封装。所述的双硬度垫通过设置到固定件上,保持位于固定件上的精确位置,受推动与所述基底粘接接触,固定到基底。
背景技术
已经知道可将弹性件,如垫,固定到基底上,所述垫形成环绕基底周边的环绕件或框架,使得所述基底可插入开口中,所述垫进行功能转变,成为挡风雨密封件或冲击吸收件,近年来可转变为汽车的外饰件/结构特征件。
过去,弹性件,尤其是垫,已经能够只固定到基底的一个主面的周边上,形成所谓的单侧封装玻璃。
多年来已经成为惯例,将上面所介绍的垫固定到基底要通过在垫成形同时进行固定的工艺。已经广泛采用现场模制工艺,如反应注射模制(RIM),来注射模制热固化合物,如聚氯乙烯(PVC)。
这些模制工艺需要使用精密加工和高价的模具,要有内外两半,模具要插入液压或气动操作的压力机中。一般地,部分模具要加工成具有垫的希望形状,当基底放置到模具中时,模具的两半通过压力机闭合,一种或多种聚合物材料注入到形成希望的垫的模具空腔中,围绕基底的一部分或整个周边。
在注入聚合物材料,如聚亚安酯或聚氯乙烯,之前,已知道施加粘接促进底料,如硅烷材料,到将固定垫的基底部分。当垫在模制加工中形成时,垫牢固地固定到基底的准备好的部分。
尽管这种模制工艺很有效,由于汽车制造商要求采用日益复杂的垫,这样的模制工艺已经同样地日益增加其复杂程度,由于复杂程度的增加,使得成本上升。
由于垫的如上所述的设计,其用于严密接触车体上的开口,但实际上汽车运动时,车体会出现伸缩,因此车体上的开口会有一定程度的变形,在垫和车体的金属板之间发生摩擦接触,产生不希望有的声音,有时称作尖叫声。作出了许多努力和花费了许多时间来寻找减少尖叫声的方法,但已经证明,这是一个困难和昂贵的待分析解决的问题。
因此,希望有相对简单的具成本效益的方法来固定垫到基底,同时使固定的垫具有多种功能,提供美观的抗风雨密封的单侧封装,并可减少尖叫声的发生。
发明内容
本发明提供了一种方法,可粘接弹性件,如垫,到基底材料,如玻璃或塑料上,形成适合填充车体上的开口的组件。
形成这种组件的方法包括,提供定位固定件,其设有具预定形状的通道。一个或多个孔穿过通道,最好在通道的底部,使得通道可与正或负空气压力的气源连通。可施加负空气压力,即真空,其吸力足以保持如弹性件牢固地和精确地位于通道内的适当位置。
弹性件或可保持弹性件的机构插入通道中。施加粘接材料到弹性件,或在其插入定位固定件的通道中之前施加粘接材料。
基底材料然后设置到固定件,使得至少基底表面的周边部分的选择部分位于固定件的上方,并在保持弹性件的通道上方延伸。
若粘接材料未事先施加到弹性件上,如上面所介绍的,粘接材料可至少施加到基底的周边部分的一部分,这部分位于通道的上方。粘接剂必须设置到基底的面对通道开口的表面部分,使得弹性件可粘接到基底。
在预定的时间,负气体压力终止,正空气压力通过前面介绍的孔,空气压力足以使弹性件或保持弹性件的构件离开通道上升,与在所述通道上方延伸的基底的周边部分粘接接触。
在预先确定的时间后,正空气压力终止,将与弹性件粘接到一起的基底从固定件取出。

具体实施方式
如图1所示,本发明设置了固定件10,固定件10包括热稳定材料,如铝、木材、钢、环氧树脂、硅胶和某种尿烷,在固定件上形成通道12。通道12具有预成形的弹性件的形状,弹性件可插入该通道中。在通道12,最好在其底部,形成有孔22,可以与正空气压力28或负空气压力30的气源(未显示)连通。
或者,如图1A所示,矩形通道可形成于固定件10,能够容纳可置换的构件14,其下部16插入固定件中的通道12,其上部18在通道12深处以上延伸,构件具有表面20,具有预成形的垫的轮廓形状。孔23穿过固定件10的整个厚度,可在空气压力源(未显示)和可置换的构件14之间连通正空气压力28或负空气压力30(即形成真空)。
可置换的构件14可用刚性的但容易成形的材料制造,如带有很好的复原性的聚合物材料,最好是可延展的硅树脂材料。
预成形的弹性件24示意性地在图2显示,图3显示出更具体的形状,其可手动或通过机电机构(未显示)如机器人或类似装置,插入上面介绍的固定件10中的通道12。弹性件24可以是一个垫,垫最好具有不同硬度的材料制造的部分。弹性件24通过气动机构保持在通道12中的希望位置,如图4示意性所示,最好是通过施加真空到弹性件24。如图1A,4和6所示,适当的液体粘接剂26,如尿烷、丙烯酸树脂或热熔压力敏感粘接剂,可施加到弹性件24,或者,两面带有粘接剂的胶粘带可粘接到弹性件24上。
如图6所示,基底32,更好为玻璃基底,最好是具有适合车窗形状的玻璃基底,手动或通过机电机构设置在上面介绍的固定件10。
粘接促进底料34,最好是硅烷底料,如Dow Automotive,AshlandChemical和Lord Chemical公司生产的,施加到基底32上的弹性件24,如垫,待固定的地方。
在设置弹性件到固定件10的通道12之前,施加如双面胶带到弹性件24的面朝上的部分,仍属于本发明的范围内。粘接材料,如双面胶带还可以施加到基底材料32,而不是设置到弹性件24,其后设置基底材料32到固定件10,其中弹性件24已经设置在固定件10的通道12中。
在使用双面胶带将弹性件24粘接到基底32的情况下,可不必要施加粘接促进底料到基底。无需粘接促进底料34将有利于减少材料成本,劳动成本和工艺周期时间。
就目前所知,使用液体粘接剂26必须施加粘接促进底料34到弹性件24或基底材料,最好是基底材料32,如果该基底材料32是玻璃。
如图6所示,基底32位于固定件10上,使得基底32上垫24待固定的位置直接位于上面介绍的固定件10的包含准备好的垫24的通道12的上方。然后通过施加正空气压力28到垫24,推动垫24与基底32粘接接触,空气压力28来自固定件10中的通道12的底部的孔22,并通过固定件中的孔23传输。
或者及额外地,代替使用正空气压力28推动垫24与基底32接触,如图7和8所示,一个或多个可充气的气囊36可用来推动垫24与基底32粘接接触。可充气的气囊36位于固定件的通道12内,可占据全部或部分的通道12。这样的可充气气囊36最好用于均匀粘接难以实现的区域,例如角部,垫24形成比较紧的角度。
一旦用这种方法进行固定,垫24和基底32形成单侧封装组件(见图100),当粘接剂固化后,适合安装到开口上,如汽车上的开口。适当固化后,垫24可永久地固定到基底32。
如图3所示,预成形的垫24可包括热塑弹性材料(TPE),其第一部分38包括较高硬度的材料,如硬度范围在80肖氏硬度A到40肖氏硬度D的材料;第二部分40包括较低硬度的材料,具有的硬度为40到79肖氏硬度A。第二部分40是低硬度材料,具有特殊的抗尖叫声的性能。这种材料可以是聚氯乙烯(PVC)和Alcryn,但是也可以采用结合可延展的柔性聚合物材料的适当的刚性聚合物材料。
根据专利法,本发明已经介绍了其最佳模式。对于所属领域的专业技术人员,可以理解本发明可以其他模式实施,这并未脱离所介绍的本发明的精神和范围。
Claims (24)
1.一种制造窗和垫的组件的方法,包括:
提供定位固定件,其设有具预定结构的通道,所述通道包括一个或多个孔,允许在正或负的压力下,气体连通至少一种气体的气体源;
弹性件插入所述通道;
将基底材料设置到所述固定件,位于所述弹性件上方;
(a)当所述弹性件位于所述通道时,施加粘接材料到至少一部分所述弹性件,或(b)当所述基底位于所述弹性件上方时,施加粘接材料到至少一部分所述基底;
通过正的气体压力将所述弹性件从所述通道移出,推动所述弹性件表面与所述基底材料的一个或多个周边部分粘接接触;和
从所述固定件取出所述组件。
2.根据权利要求1所述的制造窗和垫的组件的方法,其特征在于,在所述定位固定件上形成的所述通道的预定结构具有车窗周边形状。
3.根据权利要求2所述的制造窗和垫的组件的方法,其特征在于,设置了提供真空保持所述弹性件于所述通道中的机构,可当所述弹性件位于所述通道中时向弹性件施加真空。
4.根据权利要求3所述的制造窗和垫的组件的方法,其特征在于,所述预成形的弹性件是垫。
5.根据权利要求4所述的制造窗和垫的组件的方法,其特征在于,所述基底材料是玻璃。
6.根据权利要求4所述的制造窗和垫的组件的方法,其特征在于,所述基底材料是塑料。

13.一种固定垫到车窗的方法,包括:
提供设有通道的定位固定件,所述通道具有窗口周边的形状,
将预成形的弹性垫插入所述通道;
通过所述通道的一个或多个孔施加真空到所述垫;
将表面设有粘接促进底料的玻璃车窗放置到所述固定件,位于所述弹性垫上方;
施加粘接剂到至少部分所述垫上;
终止施加所述真空,通过一个或多个孔施加正空气压力到所述垫,该压力足以从所述通道升起所述垫,使其与所述车窗的一个或多个周边部分粘接接触;和
从所述固定件取出所述组件。
14.根据权利要求13所述的固定垫的方法,其特征在于,所述预成形的弹性垫手动插入所述通道。
15.根据权利要求13所述的固定垫的方法,其特征在于,所述预成形的弹性垫通过机电机构插入所述通道。
16.根据权利要求13所述的固定垫的方法,其特征在于,车窗手动放置到所述固定件。

从所述通道向上升高所述弹性件,推动已经施加粘接材料的所述弹性件的表面与所述基底材料的一个或多个周边部分粘接接触;和
从所述固定件取出所述组件。
23.一种制造窗和垫的组件的方法,包括:
提供定位固定件,其设有具预先确定结构的通道;
插入弹性件到所述通道中;
设置基底材料到固定件,位于所述弹性件上方,粘接促进底料已设置到至少一部分基底材料上;
从所述通道移出所述弹性件,推动所述弹性件的表面与所述基底材料的一个或多个周边部分粘接接触,粘接材料已经施加到所述周边部分;和
从所述固定件取出所述组件。
24.一种制造窗和垫的组件的方法,包括:
提供定位固定件,设有具预定结构的通道,其中所述通道包括一个或多个孔,允许在正或负压力下与至少一种气体的气体源气体连通;
插入预成形弹性件到所述通道;
设置透明基底材料到固定件,位于相对所述弹性件的预定位置;
粘接所述弹性件与所述透明基底材料的表面,形成窗和垫组件;和
从所述固定件取出所述组件。
